Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 01 Episode 03
Goliath and Elisa had been stroling through the park as the former had stated "In some ways this world isn't much different to the one from a thousand years ago, but in other's it's changed far more than I could have ever imagined." as someone had the barrel of a gun pointed at him from off hidden in the bushes.
They'd shot something at Goliath that'd stuck in his arm as he let out a pained grunt and the two of them were attacked "Leave him alone!" Elisa yelled at the guys that were trying to pin Goliath down.
"We're just tying up loose ends, and once he's out of the way we'll hunt down those others and take them out too." One of them stated while pointing a gun at Goliath.
"No, I won't let you!" Goliath called while Elisa stepped on the foot of the guy that was holding onto her before then elbowing him and throwing the guy into the one pointing the gun at Goliath.
"Because he's got back up." Elisa stated taking out her gun and pointing it at the others who were reaching for their own weapons and she'd shot past one of their heads when the first one tried "I should warn you, I'm a crack shot and the next one won't miss."
Goliath had gotten up and taken their weapons crushing them in is large clawed hands as he does so "You won't be using these to hurt any of my kind again." He'd warned as Elisa had started cuffing the goons attacking one by one.
"Hey, we need dispatch to send out a couple of cars to Central Park. Ya I know it's my day off but you know how New York is." Elisa stated through her comm that she's supposed to keep on her just in case. "ETA Ten Minutes, I think we can manage."
"E T A?" Goliath questioned what she was talking about now confused as he was still recovering but helping to keep these guys down.
"Estimated Time of Arrival, it means how long it will take for them to get here to take these guys away." Elisa explained to Goliath about what that was.
The guys were arrested and taken away with Elisa then helping Goliath to get going again "Something, wrong with me." The latter stated holding his head feeling woozy.
"Tha'ts probably the Tranquilizer that they shot at you, think of it as a poison to stop you from moving and make you pass out." She explained taking the dart from his arm and then noticed something. "Look, someone must have planted a tracking device on you while they were trying to hold you down."
"A Tracking device? Some sort of strange new magic?" Goliath questioned about what exactly she ws referring to.
"Something like that, imagine it like a tracking spell." Elisa explained taking a photo of the transmitter using her phone "I can check the logo to see who supplied it and then we can find out what's going on."
"The Sun." Goliath stated moving over to a place where he could hide "Helpless during the day." He'd explained to them.
"If your species can't handle the sunlight then I can help you get to somewhere darker." Elisa told Goliath worried about him.
"No time, sun's here." He'd answered back to her about being able to get to somewhere else as the sun had started to rise in front of them.
"If it's a bother why can't we get you somewhere else?" Elisa questioned him about why they couldn't get to somewhere else.
"You'll see.." He'd answered taking a pose as his body and turned to stone leaving him there in the park like a frozen statue.
"Okay, that's a new one." She'd stated seeing that he'd turned to stone before her eyes, she'd sat down next to him wondering how long that would last.
It lasted alright, the whole day he didn't move at all. Once the sun had set however, that's when things had gotten interesting as the stone had began to crack around Goliath and he'd gotten up breaking what was left of the stone off of himself as he'd stretched out catching Elisa by surprise as she'd fallen over.
"Goliath, are you alright?" She'd questioned getting up and walking over towards him concerned by what happened.
"Of course, the stone sleep rejuvinates us." Goliath answered explaining that he was now feeling better "You stayed with me the entire day?"
"Well, someone had to keep an eye on you in case those creeps came back." She answered as if it was no big deal really.
"Thank you, it's very possible you may have saved my life doing that." He'd spoken thanking Elisa for keeping an eye on him and not letting anything happen. "I must return the other will be worried about me."
"I understand, so maybe later tonight we can meet back up?" She'd spoken asking about metting back up after Goliath let everyone know that he was okay.
He'd stopped and turned to look towards her and smiled slightly before giving her a nod in response then proceeded to head on off while Elisa had started to check her phone since that was the only thing she had to do at the moment and was checking out that logo on the transmitter.
Goliath had returned to the others and they were glad to see him with the Red One questioning "Where were you last night, what happened?"
"It would appear that we have enemies, given what happened last night I wish you had accompanied us Hudson." Goliath answered back and looked over at the old one who'd taken the name Hudson the night before.
"Hudson?" The Red one questioned looking over at the old one not knowing that he'd taken a name for himself.
"Aye, it's my name. The Lass asked what to call me and I asked about if the River needed a name, she told me it was called the Hudson and so I chose to be called that as well. What would you make of it?" Hudson explained to them about the name he'd chosen.
"I like it, maybe we should choose names as well?" The smallest one of the group stated in respone before suggesting they all take names.
"Ya, we saw some signs for different places, I kinda like that Brooklyn one. Actually, ya, I'm Brooklyn." The Red one spoke agreeing about taking names and chose to be called Brooklyn.
"Oh, I like that Broadway one, call me that." The largest of the younger trio spoke choosing one for himself as well.
"Oh, uh, Lexington. Do you like it?" The smallest bipedal one of the group spoke while gesturing to himself and asking if Goliath approved.
"They're all fine names. I guess he'll need one as well now." Goliath spoke while gesturing towards the beastlike Gargoyle in front of him.
"Oh, I got one for him too. From now on you're Bronx." The newly named Brooklyn spoke putting his hand on top of the Gargoyle Beast's head, but they'd let lout a whimpering sound and simply got up and began to walk off.
"I think he likes it." The smallest one now called Lexington stated to them about their friend liking the name they were given.
They hear someone clearing their throat as Owen walks out to speak with them and we then cut off to where Goliath had walked into another room and says "You wish to see me Xanatos?" He'd spoken to the man that had been leaning against one of the tables around the room.
"Goliath, thank you for coming. I was able to procure help for two of the three locations." Xanatos answered back about finding someone to handle things.
"Even so my Clan"I understand Goliath, there's no need to repat yourself. I won't ask you to put your Clan in danger." Goliath had began to state but was cut off by Xanatos stating that he wasn't asking him again for that.
"I asked you here becuase I've recently come into contact with someone who claims to have been an old Aquaintance of yours." Xanatos then explained as to why he'd actually asked Goliath to come speak with them.
A door opened up and someone had started walking towards them with Goliath questioning "Who?" Before then letting out a surprised gasp at who it was that walked towards him. "You, you're alive." He'd spoken barely believing what he was seeing.
"Goliath, my love." The female Gargoyle that had appeared spoke opening her arms to him and the two had opened their wings.
The two wrapped their wings around each other and Goliath was caressing her hair saying "My angel, it really is you." He'd spoken with his voice quivering with shock and joy of seeing them again.
"Oh Goliath, all the days that I've dreamed of you and this moment." The female Gargoyle spoke stroking his thick black hair.
"Well since it's clear she's not a threat, I'll have to go and find someone else to help with the third location." Xanatos stated as he began to leave.
"Goliath, this man brought us together. We owe our Reunion to David Xanatos." The She Gargoyle spoke revealing that Xantos' first name was actually David.
"But how, you were shattered by the vikings." Goliath spoke about what he'd recalled from the events that had taken place.
"No, I feared for your safety and so I left the castle to find you. But I lost my way and the sun rose before I could return." The Female Gargoyle explained to them about how she'd survived. "When I returned the Magus had already cast his spell and I asked him to do the same for me."
"But, how did you get here?" Goliath questioned how she'd managed to make it all that way back to the castle.
"When I awoke I found the castle gone and after some work I discovered Xanatos had moved the Castle, I discoverd a machine that people use to go over long distances in short amount of time and stowed away on one that was coming here so that I could find you again."
We then cut to the others getting to see that she was alive and they all seemed happy to have her back and she was happy to be around them too "I'll be glad to answer your questions later, but first, Goliath. I think we should help Xanatos with gathering that third disk he was speaking about We owe him that much for our reunion at least." She'd told them before speaking to Goliath about the disks.
"I suppose, and we may be able to find out and stop those that are hunting us as well." Goliath agreed about helping out with the third location "Besides with you by my side I can do anything."
Later we see that Goliath and the unnamed Female Gargoyle that he'd been fond of were in the air handling the air fortress and after having some trouble they'd managed to get on board with Goliath tearing open a hatch and climbing aboard before helping the Female Gargyole to climb in as well.
"The Disk will no doubt be heavily guarded." He'd stated to her as he looked down the pathway in front of them.
"If the humans wish to throw away their worthless lives that's their concern." She'd responded which surprised Goliath to hear her speaking that way. "Come on it's this way."
The two had encountered a couple of humans and had quickly taken them out rendering them unconscious when the female had picked one of them up and was about to drop them from the airship to their death but Goliath had stopped her.
"What are you doing?" He'd demanded as she was still holding onto the guy about to let go of them.
"What's it look like? I'm making sure that they won't cause trouble for us later." She'd answered about what she was going to do.
"No. To kill in the heat of battle is one thing, but not like this." He'd told her saying not to drop them off of the airship.
"The centuries have made you weak Goliath." The She Gargoyle told him throwing the man off to the side instead and walking off.
