Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 01 Episode 04
We see that someone was checking out a monitor stating "Stations one and two have lost the drives, we've lost two thirds of the data." when they'd heard some banging on the door that was then kicked down as Goliath and the female gargoyle had busted into the main area of the base to get Xanatos' drive back.
"That's where you're wrong, you've lost all the data." The She Gargoyle stated to them as Goliath walked further into the room. After he'd dealt with the guards with ease she then went over and retrieved the drive before ripping out one of the cables and sticking it to another part of the air ship causing it to catch fire. "We have the drive let's go." She'd then called kicking open a hatch for them to escape through.
"What have you done? We can't just leave them here!" Goliath stated seeing that they were trying to put out the flames as smoke had began to fill the area.
"Let's go, now!" She'd called running over and grabbing him by the arm and pulling Goliath out of the ship as it had began to tilt and was starting to fall.
The Air Ship's prepultion systems were starting to blow as a new ship had flown over by and opened up as a man with blue skin and flaming white hair calls out "Come on, get everyone on board!" helping everyone get clear.
Goliath had turned back to watch as once everyone was clear the man had flown up to above the airship and taken a deep breath as the ship he'd come on had gotten clear, then let out a strange sound that created green waves of energy that knocked the air ship straight downwards where it had dropped into the river below and exploded.
We then see a car drive next to the river and notice Elisa get out to watch what had happened looking up into the air where she'd noticed two winged people flying away from everything and looked worried about what she'd seen. "Goliath?" She'd questioned alloud wondering if she'd really seen him being involved.
Goliath and the Female Gargoyle had made their way back to the castle and she'd given the drive back to Xanatos who seemed glad to have it back stating "You have my profound thanks. Rest assured that the information on the drives will be used for the benifit of both human and gargoyle alike." before walking off to go deal with something else.
"I have promised to meet a friend, I'll be back soon." Goliath then stated as he'd prepared to leave again.
"A friend, who? Not one of us?" The female questioned just who they were going to see exactly not liking that he was leaving.
"No, a human by the name of Elisa Maza." Goliath answered turning back to speak with her about who he was going to see.
"Aside from Xanatos we have no human friends, nor should we. Humanity is our enemy Goliath, I'd thought you learned that a millenium ago." She'd stated to him angry that he was going to leave and telling him that they couldn't have human friends.
"The humans of this time are not the same as those from a thousand years ago, they have changed much since the time of our stone sleep. I have seen first hand there are good humans here." Goliath stated turning to leave but the female got in his way.
"Can you forgive the humans for what they did to our kind?" She'd questioned angry that he wasn't as hatefilled as she was.
"The humans responsible for that are dead, they've been dead for a thousand years. I cannot and will not declare war on an entire world!" Goliath stated to her as he was trying to leave.
"Then their Descendants shall pay, I will have blood for blood!" She demanded in response to Goliath's words.
"You said the centuries have changed me, they've changed you too. You've become hard, unforgiving." He'd stated as she'd started to go from a look of anger to a look of surprise and possibly worry. "You are not as I remember you, I am going to see my friend now." With that he'd started to walk away again.
"So be it." She'd stated angrily turning back to watch Goliath leave still upset and refusing to let go of her grudge.
Eventually Goliath had gone to meet up with Elisa who was standing on the rooftop questioning "Where have you been? I've been looking all over town for you." seeming to have a bit of worry in her voice.
"Why?" He'd questioned just how come she'd been worried about him exactly since he wasn't sure what she'd need to worry about.
"Three Cyber-Biotics Installations have reported robberies by what they presumed to be large humanoid aliens with wings, and I saw you and another gargoyle flying away from the crashed Airship. If a member of the Front Liens hadn't shown up who knows how many causalites could have ended up being reported." She'd stated basically giving Goliath an earful about his involvement in the incident. "What's this all about Goliath?"
"Xanatos told me of some Drives that had been stolen from him, I was only helping him retrieve what was rightfully his. I was not the one that started the flames." Goliath answered back about what happened.
"Goliath, you remember the tracker I showed you? I did some digging and found out that it's the logo of a robotics firm owned by Xanatos Enterprises." Elisa stated to Goliath showing him the printout of the information she'd found.
"Are you saying Xanatos is responsible for the attack in the park?" Goliath questioned looking at the paper that he'd been handed.
"Either that or the enemy is stupid enough to use his own tech against him." A male's voice spoke out as Goliath looked around to see who'd as the man from earlier with the blue skin and flaming hair appeared in front of them.
"Demon!" Goliath called out about what he was seeing and did try to attack them with his eyes glowing as he charged forwards.
The Man held out his hand and stopped Goliath's attack stating "Easy there big guy, it's not you I'm after. My name is Dan Phantom, I'm a member of the P.H.D. and founding member of the front line." They'd then stated showing Goliath his badge with was different to the one Elisa has.
"Goliath he's one of the good guys!" Elisa explained to her Gargoyle friend "You need to calm down now and let him explain."
Taking a deep breath Goliath then lets out as sigh as he exhales and responds "Very well." letting Dan explain things.
"Now, like I was saying, either they're dumb enough to use Xanatos' tech against him.." Dan began to explain about what he was saying.
"Or Xanatos put the tracker on you himself and was behind the attack at the park." Elisa then added about what was going on.
"But those are the same men that stole the drives from him." Goliath then stated about the people who attacked them earlier.
"Those drives were registered as Cyber-Biotics Property, nothing was stolen at all. He must have staged the theft to trick you into obtaining the drives for him." Dan explained to Goliath about the situation before adding "A strategy used by underhanded buisnessmen to get away with lining thier pockets with ill gotten gains."
"Goliath you need to trust someone in this world, and I know we haven't known each other for that long but I think you'd be better off trusting me than Xanatos." Elisa told her Gargoyle friend about the situation at hand.
Moving on we see the other Gargoyles being attacked by what looked like robot versions of Goliath, one of which had been aiming to shoot at Brooklyn carrying Lexington but it was tackled by Goliath into the wall before it was able to do so and had shorted before exploding.
"Give him to me!" Goliath called to Brooklyn who'd tossed Lexington at his clan leader's command to do so.
Goliath had flown down to where he'd seen Broadway already downed and sat Lexington beside him after knocking down some rubble. Brooklyn continued fighting when Hudson and Bronx had come outside to see what was going on and were shot at by one of the robots but Dan had put up a barrier around them.
"What in the"Explain later, fight now."" Hudson began to question but Dan had cut him off and dropped the shield flying towards the bot firing a blast of green energy at it causing the bot to explode.
Bronx had grabbed one of the robots by the tail and brought them down as Hudson jumped down on top of it stabbing them with his blade that he carries with him. Goliath meanwhile had managed to get on top of one of the robots and steer it into another that was flying nearby making the two crash into one another and explode.
Goliath and Brooklyn had managed to land as there was only one bot left that was taking aim at the others and the leader of the Clan says "Quickly." and begins to push on part of a broken wall with Brooklyn doing the same. They'd managed to knock it over onto the bot but it still managed to fire at them.
Rather than the others being destroyed there was a hole there in the stone where it hit and the others appeared from thin air being okay. "That was a close one, you're lucky I was here to help." Dan stated to them about how he'd helped them survive the attack.
"We won dude!" Brooklyn spoke excitedly while looking down at their handywork as Goliath looked over at him confused not having picked up that word yet.
"You haven't won anything fools!" The Female Gargoyle called out taking aim at Goliath and Brooklyn shooting a rocket at them from a blaster she'd somehow aquired and Dan flew up creating a barrier in front of them letting it hit that instead.
"Lady you're seriously getting on my bad side." Dan called out to her starting to sound annoyed by everything. "And you're already headed towards the slammer, you really wanna make it worse?"
"The Slammer?" Brooklyn questioned not knowing what exactly he was referring to since it was new slang to him.
"I heard about it on the Telly-vision, it means she'll be put in prison." Hudson explained having heard the slang before the others due to watching television.
"Goliath you're a fool, if only you'd taken the rest of our Clan away from our castle that night. The plan was perfect it would have succeeded!" The Female Gargoyle yelled at Goliath pointing her weapon at him.
"Plan, what plan?" He'd questioned just what exactly she was talking about right now since he had kno knowledge of this.
"I made a bargain with the captain, I was to get all of the gargoyles out of the castle so that the Vikings could ransack it! It would have worked, and after the humans were gone we would have had the castle all to ourselves!" She'd told him admitting that she'd been conspiring against the humans that they were sworn to protect. "But you had to protect the humans, you made us stay at the castle when we should have been with you."
"You, it was your doing that the rest of the Clan were wiped out!?" Goliath questioned angerly with his eyes glowing white.
"The Captain said that when the Vikings came he would protect us, but I didn't trust him. I was able to survive because I don't trust anyone. Now all of Humanity has to pay for what they did to us!" She'd told him angry that he didn't follow her plan even though he had no knowledge of it.
"There is good and evil in all of us, both Human and Gargoyle alike. Don't you see, none of this would have happened if it weren't for you." Goliath told the female gargoyle pointing at her to emphasize what he was saying.
"If you are not with me then you are my enemy. I have a name too Goliath, the humans gave it to me long ago. You should know it before you die, they called me Demona." She'd spoken as Elisa had charged in finally having made it there and tackled Demona causing her weapon to discharge and miss.
Xanatos had come out to see what was going on and some rubble had struk him rendering him unconscious and part of the castle fell breaking off the piece that Demon and Elisa were standing on sending them falling as the rubble hit Demona making her drop and fall unconscious. Goliath had jumped grabbing Elisa and taking her back up and turning to watch Demon fall as Dan had flown down grabbing her and flying back up too.
Dan brough her back up and set her on the ground putting a pair of strange cuffs around her hands that were behind her back. "According to everything I've gathered you Goliath were only after the drive and tried to save the lives of the people abboard the airship, consider the charges dropped as you were merely an unkowning accessory. As for Xanatos however, his other two cohorts had ratted him out." The man with flaming white hair stated to them about the situation now.
Dan was preparing to take them away and says "I would suggest that you Gargoyles think about finding a new home." before then flying off taking Demona and Xanatos into custody as he did so but the Gargoyle didn't have time to think about that as the sun was starting to come up and so they'd taken their places on the structure returning to their stone sleep once more.
