Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 01 Episode 06

Elisa had gone to see the Gargoyles once again as there was a man standing there in a black trenchcoat and outfit, when she'd noticed him she questions "Hey who are you, what are you doing here?" not knowing the man that was now in front of them.

"I'd hate to spoil the surprise by telling you m'lady." The man stated to her in response to the questions she'd asked him.

"I hate suprises." Elisa responds while showing them her badge before then again questioning "Now who are you?"

"I'm called MacBeth." He'd answered back about who he is exactly before adding "There'll be no need for secracy madam, I know all about these creatures." while the sun was starting to fully set and it would be only a few seconds before the Gargoyles awaken.

When they'd awakened the Gargoyles were defensive with Broadway questioning "Who is this guy, is he bothering you Elisa?" wondering who this man is.

"Says that his name is MacBeth, he was here already when I arrived." Elisa answered back about the man in front of them.

"I'm here to offer you all an invitation. Leave this drafty old castle and be guests at my home." MacBeth stated to the Gargoyles about why he was there.

"I'm afraid we must refuse." Goliath answered back still being too stubborn to leave the castle despite the dangers.

"And I'm afraid I must insist. I would not stoop so low as to attack you while you slept, but now." He'd stated opening up his coat more while revealing the guns on holsters that were attached to the legs of his pants.

"I don't like your attitude." Brooklyn stated to them walking over to this MacBeth fellow with his hand outstretched before continuing to state "I think you better leave."

However MacBeth had grabbed him by the wrist and put his hand onto Broadway's head and pulled the gargoyle behind himself before throwing them over his shoulder into Hudson sending both of them off of the castle tower they were on. The man then threw smoke pellets and Bronx tried to attack him but he'd doged out of the way using special goggles to see through the smoke, and that caused the beast to ram into Lexington by accidnet.

When they'd done so MacBeth then launched an electrified net over at the two of them zapping both Bronx and Lexington. Goliath tried to attack but the man dodged and while there was an opening kicked Brooklyn in the back knocking him off of the tower and jumped down with them firing another net over him.

Goliath tried to attack but MacBeth used a blaster to shoot the stone behind them causing a small explosion that knocked stone chunks into Goliath's back making him fall onto the castle ground below. Goliath had gotten up but was kicked into a fuse box where Owen had come out to speak with them.

"Mister MacBeth, Mister Xanatos hired you to fumigate the castle, not destroy it." Own stated about the damage being done to the castle.

"Quite right, we'll continue this elsewhere." Macbeth answered using a device to have the gargoyls that were in nets picked up by an aircraft before grabbing onto one of the cables to get into the cockpit.

Goliath tried to stop them but he'd pressed a button shocking the leader of the Manhattan Clan sending him tumbling back down onto the castle grounds as they'd flown away. We fade to after the remaining Gargoyles had recovered with Goliath and Elisa arguing with each other about what they should be doing.

"I don't want to hear anymore!" Goliath had stated getting louder but not quite yelling at the detecitve exactly.

"You're not safe here!" She's repeated once again about being in the castle trying to get him to listen to reason.

"No, you don't understand!" The leader of the Manhattan Clan then yelld at them again refusing to listen. "We've lost our Clan, our world, our time, this castle is all that we have left, we will not abandon it!"

"What, you need a castle to fall on you!?" Elisa questioned gesturing to the castle just like Goliath had been doing "Read my lips Goliath, you're not safe here. What happens if the next thug Xanatos hires comes in here with a sledge hammer at high noon? I can't protect you all during the day, I sleep just like you do."

"She's right y'know." A man in a red and blue costume with a web pattern on the red parts along with golden bands on his arms that went from his wrists up to halfway up his forearm and a massive golden spider design on his torso stated appearing seemingly out of nowhere.

Goliath let out a roar questioning "WHO"Whoa, easy there tall dark and grusome. I'm not an enemy, I'm a teammate of Dan's."" They'd began to question angry, but the man in the costume told him to calm down stating who he was exactly "You can call me Spider-Man."

"Spider-Man is a member of the Front Lines, that team that Dan is on. But what brings you here exactly?" Elisa stated to the remaining Gargoyles before questioning why he was there.

"Well, I was just supposed to deliver some news, but now it looks like you guys could use my help." Answered back Spider-Man about what he was doing there.

"News? What news?" Hudson questioned about just what this.. Spider-Man had to tell them about.

"Woman named Demona managed to escape during a transport riot, I was asked to warn you guys that she may be coming after you guys." Spider-Man answered back about what he was supposed to tell them.

"If that is all I'm going to find the rest of our Clan, you two are to stay here and protect our home." Goliath then stated starting to leave but Spider-Man used a webline to yank him back to them.

"Whoa whoa whoa, you can't just go off like that. At least, not yet anyway." Spider-Man stated holding up his badge and pointing it at Goliath as a red light had scaned over him, then doing the same to Brooklyn, Hudson, and Elisa.

"What exactly do you think you're doing?" Goliath questioned why Spider-Man was doing that when he should be out finding his friends.

"Let the Records show that those scanned tonight are officially deputized by Spider-Man's authority as a founding member of the P.H.D. Earth Branch. They now share all rights as Plumber Deputies." He'd then stated into his badge and a light on it turned green in response before returning to it's normal red. "Okay, now we can go. I'm gonna help you find your friends." He'd finally finished stating after deputizing the Gargoyles and Elisa.

Once that was taken care of Goliath then began to climb the castle wall ready to leave immediately with Spider-Man doing the same, though he's not digging claws into them the same way that Goliath does.

Elisa sighs and questions "Why won't he listen, it's obvious that you guys can't stay here." annoyed that Goliath was so stubborn.

"What you say makes sense lass, but Goliath is our leader. We cannot go against his wishes." Hudson stated as Goliath jumped from the castle spreading his wings and gliding away with Spider-Man jumping from the castle as well, however he'd used a web to swing from one building to the next.

"You're loyalty is admirable, but you heard him. He said to Protect our home." Elisa stated back about what Goliath was saying. "You and I both know this castle isn't your home anymore."

While they were discussing that, Goliath was having his own discussion with Spider-Man as they were traveling around the city tring to find any sign of the others. "What exactly are you Spider-Man? We were told Dan was a ghost, but what of you?"

"Me, well, to make a long and complicated story short, I'm human, but I was bitten by a genetically altered spider." The webslinger stated back turning to look at Goliath mid swing before turning around to face forwards again. "Think of it like someone stuck a whole bunch of different spiders together and then that spider bit me to give me special abilities."

"I see." Goliath stated sorta understanding what he was saying while looking around. "Any sign of the others?"

"No, all I see are humans down below." Spider-Man answered back looking around too. "But you know, Elisa is right. You're gonna have to move sooner or later, and if you don't then you're basically waiting to be bashed into rubble one day. The real question is what's more important to you, living in a castle of stone because you don't wanna let go of the past, or protecting the lives of the rest of your clan?"

Goliath's eyes had glowed white as he grolwed at Spider-Man before staing "Just keep looking for the others."

They'd noticed Bronx down below as people were just trying to avoid hitting him or getting in his way and they'd gone down to the Gargoyle Beast with Goliath questioning "Bronx, what happened? Where are Lexington and Brooklyn?" while petting the Gargoyle Beast glad that they were okay.

Bronx turned and barked running back the way he'd escaped from as Spider-Man calls "Everything's fine here folks, just got kidnapping to resolve." Waving to the people calming them down since they were seemingly friends with Spider-Man. Though they still looked slightly worried hearing there was a kidnapping.

They'd been led to a mansion by Bronx who busted through the wooden door where MacBeth was standing there stating "Don't bother knocking. After all we're all friends."

"Bronx, find Brooklyn and Lexington." Goliath stated gesturing for them to go, and the Gargoyle Beast ran off growling out as he'd done so.

"Go ahead then." MacBeth stated poinging a weapon at Goliath, though that was webbed up by Spider-Man from above yanking it from his hand as Goliath charged forwards tackling them. "Gah." The man called before locking his hands together and slamming them into the middle of Goliath's back to break free and started to move way stating "I defeated you in your home, you think I wouldn't be ready for you in my own?" and ran off.

A door dropped down between Goliath and MacBeth and the Gargoyle leader began to try to tear through it, however Spider-Man had cleared his throat dangling from a web above them "Ahem, allow me." He'd stated dropping from the web between Goliath and the door before punching it and breaking the door off it's hinges making it slam into the far wall in front of it leaving it indented there. "Let's go."

The two then began to go to find MacBeth with Goliath's eyes glowing as he was still angry about them having taken his friends. The two had been led into a hall of mirrors and Goliath had bumped into one of them seeing MacBeth's reflection.

"It's not that easy, is it monster?" MacBeth questioned letting out a laughing about the illusion that the mirrors provided.

"Why are you doing this, did Xanatos pay you?" Goliath questioned starting to calm down a little trying to recollect himself.

"Aye, I asked him for money. If I'd offered to to it for free he'd have been suspicious." The man answered back about why he was doing that.

"Then why, we've done you no wrong." The leader of the Manhattan clan questioned about why they'd done that.

"It's not you I'm after. You're merely a pawn, I want your queen." Responds MacBeth about why he was doing all of this.

"Queen, we have no queen. If you speak of Demona, she is no ally of ours." Goliath answered back about not being Demona's Allies.

"What?" The man questioned hearing that Demona was considered an enemy of the Manhattan clan.

Some of the mirrors moved out of the way revealing a stairway which Goliath had ran down as MacBeth was now next to the cage of Brooklyn and Lexington as Bronx was bashing at the door trying to get in. He'd been at a control panel and pressed a button that lifted the cage while opening the bottom letting the two slide out, before then pushing another button that opened the door.

"I'm afraid there's been a misunderstanding on my part, and for that I apologize. Demona had spoken of Castle Wyvern and her former clan there, I'd assumed that you were allies. You and your clan members are free to go." MacBeth told the Gargoyles pushing a button that opened a door to the outside of the building. "But word of advice, you should move away from that castle, the next man hired by Xanatos may not be as honerable as I and simply smash you to bits during the day."

"You realize I still have to take you in for this right?" Spider-Man questioned MacBeth who simply laighed in response.

"You're certainly welcome to try lad, but you'll fine I'm more slippery than a snake." while turning to go into another room.

When Spider-Man gave chase he'd found the small room empty and checked the area around finding a tube elevator chute. "Long gone, with this kind of tech he could be almost anywhere else in the city by now. Since there's no programming device involved there's nothing to track other than exploring every possible curve this tube makes." He'd stated turning to the Gargoyles.

"Come on, let's go home Goliath." Lexington stated walking over to Goliath just wanting this night to be overwith.

"Home.. Yes." Goliath agreed while looking as if he'd started to think about something but then they'd left the building.

They'd all returned to the castle where the others were waiting and glad to see that everyone was alright, however Goliath had gone into the main hall of the Caslte and busted the case that the Grimorum had been in taking it and pushing Owen out of the way as he was trying to stop them.

"A message for Xanatos, tell him we are leaving." He'd stated before going out to the others where Spider-Man had scanned the remaining three members of Goliath's Clan, and the leader of the Garogyles calls "C'mon, all of you." picking up Elisa and jumping from the castle gliding away.

The others looked confused but followed as we see them moving through the city and arriving at a large clock tower where he'd set Elisa down at once he'd safely touched down. The others were still confused but did so all the same. "Golaith what is this place?" Broadway questioned why they were here.

"This is one of the safe places that Elisa and I have found in case of emergency and one of us couldn't get back to the castle in time. We will show you the others tomorrow night as the sun will be up soon." Goliath finally explained about where they were and what they were doing.

"Well, go on and explore the place." Elisa told the others as they'd done so, going inside through a door on the corner of the clock tower.

They'd looked around with Lexington finding the clock mechanism and stating "Hm.. I'll be I could probably get this thing up and working again."

"Why would you want to?" Questions Brooklyn who'd also been looking at the clock's gears and winding pillar mechanism.

"It's not so bad, there's a place right over there for a television." Hudson stated gesturing over towards an empty part of the building.

"So it's a bit of a fixer upper. But a few throw rugs maybe some flowers, it could feel like home." Elisa stated to them.

"Yes, it very well could be a good place for us to rest. As long as we're together that's home." Goliath stated from up on the scafolding above the others looking out the face of the clock.

The last thing we see is the Gargoyles perched in front of one of the clock faces already in their stone form once more.
