Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 02 Episode 01
The Gargoyles awaken as the sun had gone down and broken from the outer layer of their stone sleep stretching out with yawns before turning to go inside where Elisa had been waiting for them. Taking notice Goliath questions "What is it Elisa?"
"There's bad news I'm afraid, most of The Pack have escaped from the Prison they were being kept in." She'd explained to them about the news that she'd gotten.
"What, we've gotta track them down now, before the trail gets cold!" Lexington stated in response to what they were told wanting to hurry and find them.
Goliath puts his hands on Elisa's shoulders and questions "How did it happen exactly?" wanting to know the details of their escape.
"Reports say that they were broken out by a man in ad black suit with gold armor. We're currently sweeping the city to see if there is any sign of them here." Elisa answered back telling them about what happened.
"Well what are we waiting for, c'mon. We'll start at The Pack Media Studios, they'll go back to it like snakes to a nest." Lexington called trying to rush out to go find and stop The Pack.
"Lexington wait!" Goliath called out stopping them from leaving so abruptly while walking out of the Clocktower with Elisa.
"The Studio is the first place we're checking." Elisa called out to him stating that someone was already going to be seeing if they were at the studio.
Brooklyn however had jumped between them and gone over to Lexington stating "Alright just you and me Lex." When Bronx had started making worried growling sounds. "You wanna come too Bronx?" The red Gargoyle questioned their friend and Bronx barked excitedly in response to that question.
Once they'd flown off carrying Bronx with them Goliath states "The Pack won't be foolish enough to return to the Studio."
"Aye. I think we need to trace this problem back to it's source." Hudson agreed with that assumption about what the group were up to.
"The man that created The Pack, David Xanatos." Elisa then added about who they'd have to go and deal with for this venture.
The remaining members of the Clan went back to Castle Wyvern and knocked open one of the large doors with Goliath walking up to Owen stating "We're here to see Xanatos."
"Alas, Mr. Xanatose is not here I'm afraid. From what I hear it isn't him that you wish to speak with anyway, your business I believe is with The Pack. According to their Schedule they are due to arrive at Pack Media Studios anytime now. They're expecting you, shouldn't you.. be there?" Owen responds looking at a small book before closing it and looking up at the Gargoyles.
"I'll speak to Xanatos later." Goliath states and turns leaving with the Broadway and Hudson in order to go after The Pack.
"Sooner than you think." Owen stated moreso to himself rather than to goliath and proceeded to continue with whatever work he needed to take care of.
Meanwhile Lexington was watching the building along with Brooklyn and Bronx from atop the large statue attached to the building opposite of The Pack Studios facing towards the studio building with Brooklyn stating "The feds are crawling all over the entrance looking for them."
"They can have them, after I'm through with them." Lexington stated back looking angry at the building below.
"Look Lex, I know you're upet. They used you and nearly killed both you and Goliath. But you can't let that consume you." Brooklyn responded as the police were starting to leave now.
"You have your priorities, and I have mine. Looks like they're leaving. I'm going to take a look." Lexington shot back and began to glide down to go into the building.
Letting out a sigh Brooklyn looks at the Gargoyle Beast and says "Come on Bronx, no point in staying up here where it's safe." We then fade off to inside the building where someone had been watching from above with the Red Gargoyle stating "Nobody home, happy now?"
"Maybe you're right." Lexington pouted about the building being empty as Bronx began to sniff around and growled as the person above them had squinted their eyes down below at the trio.
The ground began to shake violently as a hatch opened up with a platform rising up revealing some sort of aircraft that had the back hatch open up with Wolf and the rest of the pack walking out and Lexington tried to attack right way, but was grabbed by Brooklyn trying to hold him back. "Wait a second, we need a plan." He warned trying to stop Lex from doing anything that would get them hurt, but he'd broken free and attacked wolf as Brookly sighs and states "Ya, nice plan." and began to join in on the action alongside Bronx.
Brooklyn had been fighting with Hyeena and managed to headbutt her in the gut and away from him with Jackal stating "Hey pal, that's no way to treat a lady."
However in response to this Brooklyn says "That was no lady." and Dingo throws a disk onto the back of one of his wings close to the middle of his back which zapped him and caused them to grunt out in pain before dropping down once it had stopped.
The man in the Black and Gold Armor appeared atop the airship and Bronx attacked them biting down on his arm which had armor over where he'd bitten. They'd thrown him off sending the Gargoyle Beast through a sheet of metal into another room and up against a wall damaging it. Though Bronx tried to get up he didn't have any luck and laid back down whimpering.
Coyote had dropped down next to Lexington after he'd managed to beat Wolf and activated a neural ray of sorts to confused the smallest of the Bipedal Gargoyles of the Manhattan clan, making him see everything as if it was twisted and melting all around him and passing out in the process.
"Nighty Night, don't let the bedbugs bite." Jackal stated to the Gargoyles that had been rendered unable to continue fighting.
The other Gargoyles had made it to the building and were checking out the area with Hudson stating "There was a struggle here." as the phone on the wall next to Broadway began to ring.
Broadway considered answering it, but stopped and looked over at Goliath who'd given the nod for him to go ahead and answer it. Once he'd gotten the okay the pudgy Gargoyle picked up the phone stating "Uh, hello?" not sure if he'd done that right.
Owen had been on the other line and says "Good Evening, uh, Broadway was it? I've been instruced to invite you to an intimate Soiree the pack is having tonight. If you and your friends are free around midnight, please consider attending. On the Oil Tanker in the middle of the bay, I believe some of your party are already in attendance." before then hanging up without waiting for an answer from them.
"The Pack Has them." Broadway stated angrily as he'd crushed thephone as he'd slammed it down onto the reciever.
We then fade to the tanker where Lexington was waking up to the sounds of scraping and we see that inside the hull Bronx was scraping ainst the side of it with his claws trying to get out. "Solid steel, and I don't know how many feet thick." Brooklyn stated to them while looking around the area. "There's no way we're getting out."
"We almost had them!" Lexington growled with his eyes glowing and began to pace around the room mad that they'd been beaten.
"Oh ya they were begging for mercy, how come whenever you and I take Bronx out we end up like this?" Brooklyn stated sarcastically in response to what Lexington was saying with their Gargoyle Beast Companion stopping all that scratching and letting out a whining noise. "Relax for now, Goliath will find a way to save us."
"I don't need Goliath's help. I can take them by myself." Lexington responds angry with his eyes glowing as he begins to bang on the side of the place they were in.
"Oh ya, you're off to a real good start." Replies Brooklyn again sarcastically watching them doing that as they hear the sound of metal scraping against metal and a hatch opened up way above them where there were ladders and scafolding they could use to get up to it.
Up top the Pack with their new guy in the armor had attacked hearing the Gargoyles coming from one side of the ship and while they were distracted Broadway had tackled them from behind. The one in Black and Gold had jumped over him and began to run to a different part of the ship with Goliath giving chase. Meanwhile Hudson and Broadway were being surrounded by Dingo, Wolf, Hyeena, and Jackal.
"Where's Fox?" Broadway questioned as he and Hudson were back to back and surrounded by the members of The Pack.
This prompted Hyeena to laugh and state "Hah, she's gone all goodie goodie. Said she'd rather stay and pay her debt to society, even tried to save one of those guards."
"C'mon then, we're none of us getting any younger." Hudson stated pulling his sword ready for battle with his eyes glowing.
As Dingo charged at them the door behind him was knocked violently off of its hingest being sent flying into their back and knocking him into some of the oil barrels off to the side as Brooklyn, Lexington, and Bronx had made it to the top of the ship finally. Meanwhile The one in black and gold tried that fancy toy of Goliath, but a black web had attached to it and it was ripped from it's compartment on the gaunlet upon their arm.
They tried the other weapon but Bronx had attacked biting down on the laser gun and making it break before it could be used with Goliath tackling them into the wall ripping their helment off and being surprised by what he saw stating "Xanatos." while growling with his eyes glowing.
"Not quite Goliath, you can call me Coyote." The man in front of him stated as they'd grabbed each other struggling to push back the other.
Bronx had charged forwards and knocked over Coyote growling violently and biting at their face before being knocked off of them taking half their face with them revealing that they were actually a robot made to look and sound like Xanatos.
"Why, Xanatos said that he didn't hold any ill will towards us when the Steel Clan attacked!" Goliath demanded wanting to know why exactly Xanatos would do all of this.
"It's not from revenge or hatred, it's done for love." Coyote explained still attemping to fight when someone jumped down and knocked Coyote's head off. They were in a mostly black suit with white outlines for eyes and a large white spider on their chest along with multiple puches on their wase and a red spot on the center of their waist showing they were a part of the Plumbers, or possibly the P.H.D. maybe.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we've seen enough." The man in the suit explained to them about having seen everything. "You can call us Agent Venom."
"Eh, we ain't paid enough to deal with no spiders, let's book it!" Dingo called running off with the other pack but was webbed by Agent Venom and all pulled back where the Gargoyles subdued them.
"Sorry but you're going nowhere." Brooklyn stated about The Pack leaving the party so soon as they'd found some rope on the deck and was tying them up so they couldn't escape.
The airship had gone without them and flown off upon it's own accord after they'd been captured angering The Pack even more.
"Thank you for your help lad." Hudson stated thanking Agent Venom for helping them out with this situation.
"Well, we would have helped out sooner, but Venom wanted to see how you guys could handle yourselves in a situation. You can rest assured that our field report will reflect positively on your preformances." Agent Venom stated to them making the Gargoyles confused.
"Wait, I thought you were Venom.." Lexington stated confused about just who was who now unable to comprehend.
"Well yes, but also no. We are Agent Venom." Answered the man in the black and white Spider-themed attire.
"Well then who's Venom?" Broadway questioned now also confused by what they were talking about exactly.
"I am." They'd answered once again, and that just proceeded to make them even more confused about the situation making them sigh. "The black and white form you see is that of Agent Venom, we are two that become one to take this form."
"... Huh?" Brooklyn questioned now even more confused which made them sigh in response to them not getting it.
"Look the black and white parts, are alive and can move on their own." They explained making one of their gloves retreat back into the upper part of the costume revelaing a human hand underneath alongside moving the black bit over their mouth revealing that was also human underneath. "The black and white part are Venom. I am Venom's host, and when Venom and I are together, we are Agent Venom. Think of Venom like.. a turtle shell that's alive and can think for itself."
Ya, it was clear they weren't getting it. and Agent Venom sighed recovering the exposed bits of their body. "Okay, we're not really certain how to explain it to you guys at this point so let's just take The Pack back to prison." They'd finally stated back to them simply giving up on trying to explain it to them.
