Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 02 Episode 03
We see that Elisa had been leaving a costume shop with something draped over her arm putting it away in her vehicle as she'd heard a scream as something had thrown a display stand out of a window with the man working the store running out of the door scared by what he'd seen. "Never a dull night." She'd sighed and ran over while taking her gun from her holster and preparing to go inside.
Elisa had gone in and looked around pointing her gun at all sides before following the trail of things being thrown around with glass shattering and when she'd finally found what was causing trouble there appeared to be a werewolf like creature in front of her and she'd quickly pointed her gun at it calling "Police Freeze!" Though the creature turned down another isle and went around as she was trying to stop them getting the drop on her and knocked the gun from her hand.
She'd had to dodge out of the way and falling into a pile of large bags of flour where one of the bags had been doorn and seeping out. The creature picked her up and she'd noticed the necklace before smacking it in the face with the torn flour bag. When the other cops finally arrived the creature had seemingly vanishes.
"What exactly do you think that thing was?" One of the cops spoke to Elisa having caught a glimps of it before it managed to escape.
"It looked like one of those Loboan aliens, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll try to place a contact for the experts to come in for this one." Elisa answered back saying she'd make a call to have someone come in.
Back with th Gargoyles they'd woken once it was nightfall and the younger trio seemed excited stating "Finally it's Halloween, finally it's time to party." Broadway stated about getting to go to some sort of party.
"Party?" Goliath questioned about what they were speaking of. "What party exactly?" He'd asked them looking over at the others.
"Aye, that Spider-Man fellow sent an invitiation to one of those Halloween Parties that the humans have. I'd rather sit here and gaurd the clocktower where I can just relax in my chair though." Hudson stated about the Trio wanting to go to a party they were invited to.
"Very well, I have plans with Elisa, but the rest of you may go provided you stay out of trouble." Goliath answered back about letting the Trio go to the party.
Speaking of Elisa she'd come in after the other Gargoyles had already left to go to the party leaving just Goliath on the balcony since Hudson was already inside "Goliath, got a minute?" she'd questioned him wanting to talk about something.
Sometime later they were discussing it with Elisa leaning against the railing of the tower with Gloiath questioning "And you've no idea what this beast might be?"
"I assumed it was some sort of Loboan, but since it never used a sonic howl I'm not completely certain on that." She answered back about the whole thing.
"You could have been hurt, I should have been with you." Goliath stated about protecting Elisa from that thing.
"But you can't, just like I can't guard you all day long. Everyone's Vulnerable sometimes Goliath. But it helps to know that somebody cares." She'd stated putting a hand on his folded over wing where his chest would be making Goliath smile a bit. "I reported the incident over to the Plumbers and they're sending a specialist to check on the situation."
"There was a book on such creatures in the Library, I will go and see if there's any information that can be useful." Goliath answered about what he'd be doing and Elisa nodded in response.
Sometime Later Goliath had been reading about werewolves when Elisa had come in with a guy that had blond hair as she called out "Goliath the specialist is here. This is Albedo Tennyson."
"Nice to meet you, hate to cut things short but we just recieived a call about where that thing might be." Albedo stated with a brief hello before getting straight to it and then slapped the bands on his arms together creating a green flash of light.
We then cut to them at a meat factory where the creature had jumped from one of the windows and Goliath had glided down holding Elisa while kicking it out of the way as he'd landed with what looked to be a cross of a humanoid pteradactly and a humanoid mothlike creature also landing and changing in a flash of light back into Albedo.
When the creature got up to fight back to fight Goliath was at the ready with Albedo stating "That's not like any Loboan I've ever met." while watching the creature and Goliath circling around one another.
The creature attacked and Goliath managed to overpower them throwing them into one of the metal doors making it drop down as Xanatos appeared in a damaged battle suit stating "This is a private matter Detective I'd appriciate no more intereference."
"Xanatos is this another one of your victims?" Elisa questioned glaring at Xanatos for being there.
"Let's just say I feel a certain responsibility for it." and tried to take the pendant from around their neck but an energy surge shot out zapping him causing Xanatos to cry out in pain while Goliath protected Elisa from it and the energy shot Xanatos back into some boxes that had been left out.
The creature was able to get back up and attack Goliath who'd called out "Stop, you don't have to do this. If Xanatos is your enemy then believe me we are your friends!" He'd stated to the creature trying to stop them.
The creature tried to get up and run but Albeo was blocking their path questioning "Going somewhere?" with a smirk and slapped the bands together calling "Chill-Squatch." and changed into a strange creature that looked like a humanoid moth and yetti like creature blasting at them with electrically charged ice making them cry out in pain.
"Stop, you're hurting her!" Xanatos called slamming into Albedo making him stop his attack giving the creature time to escape.
"Great, they're gone, you and me are having a long talk. I gotta go after that thing but first you're gonna tell me everything." Albedo stated to Xanatos about telling them the full story.
"The Creature you saw.. it's Fox. She's been affected by the jewel she wears. Legend says that it's supposed to endow the wearer with power and insigt. I had no idea that it had metamorphic capabilities." Xanatos explained about what's going on exactly.
"Perhaps it can give you some insight into Fox's real character." Goliath stated crossing his arms while listening to all this. "It seems to have made her more like herself."
"Goliath, please"Don't listen to him, it's a trick he couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it."" Xanatos began to plea but Elisa cut them off refusing to listen.
"But my life doesn't depend on it, Fox's does." David answered back about what she was saying about him being a liar.
"Goliath, it's just a mainipulation tactic. Don't listen to him." Elisa stated as Goliath was more inclined to believe her than to believe him.
"Clean up your own mess Xanatos." Goliath stated leaving with Elisa refusing to hear anymore about it.
"Xanatos huh, time to get down to business. Ben told me to keep an eye out for you." Albedo then stated turning towards the man in the exo suit.
Elisa and Goliath had gone to a street gathering where most people were in costume and our Detective was also dressed up going as Belle from the story of Beauty & The Beast. They'd had a dance going for couples dressed up in costumes like that and the two of them had joined in having some fun for the night. When they'd had enough and were preparing to leave down an alleyway when a guy in a Werewolf costume was trying to scare them and Goliath tackled them mistaking them for the creature knocking their mask off as he'd pined them to the gorund.
"Hey, it was just a joke alright." The guy stated taking his mask and leaving since he didn't wanna deal with that again.
"Things are not always what they seem." Goliath stated to Elisa about what's going on around them. "What if Xanatos was telling the truth, should we really leave the gem in his hands if it could do that to Fox?"
"I see your point, if it really was the cause then it'd be bad to let someone like him keep it." Elisa agreed with Goliath about the situation.
"Then we have an agreement." A voice spoke as Xanatos had appeared wearing a coat alongside Albedo. "You help me save Fox and you can keep the necklace."
"How did you find us?" Elisa questioned just how Xanatos had gotten to them so quickly when they'd left earlier.
"Old habbits die hard." He stated taking a tracker off of Goliath's back "Come on, she's not far from here."
They'd been led to a building where people were running out screaming and headed inside with Xanatos shutting the door.
The creature had jumped down with Goliath getting Elisa out of the way while Fox had charged at them tackling Xanatos and Goliath got behind them trying to hold onto the creature in a full nelson to stop them from moving.
"Playtime's over Lycan-Arms!" Albedo called slapping the bands on his arms together and changing into what appeared to be a fusion of a werewolf like creature and four armed humanoid.
When Goliath was thrown Lycan-Arms had unleashed a sonic howl that knocked them into the wall before charging forwards and using their strenght to pin them there with Goliath doing the same as the latter called "Xanatos NOW!" as the man charged forwards and grabbed at the pendant pulling while it unleashed energy at them causing the three to yell out in pain but they'd done it just as he'd been blown back Xanatos managed to get the Pendant off of the creature.
The Creature snarled in anger and began to let out pain filled screams with Xanatos taking off his coat revealing a slimmed down exo suite he'd been wearing underneath while the creature cahnged into Fox. He'd wrapped the coat over her and picked Fox up preparing to leave dropping the pendant at Goliath's feet stating "A deal's a deal. Thank you for helping me save her." before then leaving as Owen had arrived in a helicopter outside the building and Xanatos carried Fox out to it so that they could leave.
