Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 02 Episode 04
The Gargoyles had been woken up at nightfall and Goliath headed in to sit down on the recliner picking up a book as Brooklyn looked inside asking "Aren't you coming Goliath?"
"Not tonight, I've been looking forward to completing this book for nights" He responded opening up the book to where he had left off at.
Bronx made wimpering noises wanting to go with the others but Hudson patted his head saying "Not tonight boy you stay here and keep Goliath Company." before jumping to glide off an catch up to the others.
Meanwhile Elisa was at work when some of her collegues had appeared laughing about something while making gestures. "Hey Morgan what's so funny?" She'd questioned as her coworker walked over taking the seat next to her.
"I just pulled in this rangy old guy who was walking the street in full armor, like real armor. King Arthur type stuff." The Cop named Morgan answered back about what happened.
"One of those Forever Knight guys?" She'd questioned about the man that Morgan was describing to her.
"Nah, this one had no idea who those guys were. He said he was looking for a Gargoyle named Goliath." Morgan answered back surprising Elisa to hear who the guy was looking for.
Later on Elisa had been talking to Goliath stating "He asked for you by name specifically." about who they'd learned about.
"I know of no Guardian." Goliath answered back about not knowing who it was that was asking about them.
"Well he seems to know you, and we've got to see what else he knows." Elisa stated to them in response.
"Agreed, but we cannot bring him here." Goliath answered back about talking to the man to see who he was exactly.
"Well, since you don't wanna go down to the Precint then I'm gonna have to get him out of the cell. Let's say Belvedere Casstle in an hour." Elisa answered back about where to meet up at.
Bronx began to make happy whining sounds in response and Goliath nodded stating "Agreed, one hour then." and when the Gargoyle Beast continued to make whimpering sound as if begging to go Goliath responds "Yes, you can go this time." taking Bronx with him to meet up with Elisa.
We then fade off to Elisa who was with the man in the armor stating "Now remember, I took a big chance telling the sergent I knew your family."
"If you know Goliath, one could say that you do." The man stated to Elisa about knowing Goliath as they heard Bronx coming towards them while barking. Goliath landed setting down Bronx and the man spoke happy to see them stating "Goliath, I cannot believe it is you. Finally here in the flesh, y'know the last time I saw you was the worst night of my life." The man stated to the Gargoyle glad to see them acting friendly towards him as Bronx sniffed at the man and seemed happy around them.
"I do not know you." Goliath stated to the man in front of him since he had no recolection of who this person is despite Bronx seeming to know them.
"Ah, but I know you. I also know Princess Kathryn, the Magus, and the Gargoyle Eggs." The man stated to Goliath about knowing him.
"Who are you?" Goliath questioned just who this person in front of them was. "How do you know of such things?"
"Why it's me Tom. I was just a lad at Castle Wyvern, that night the Vikings destroyed your Clan. But there's no time to explain now, we must go the eggs are in danger." The man, now calling himself Tom, stated to Goliath about what's happening.
"The Eggs, you mean the Gargoyle Eggs?" Goliath questioned if he was specifically referring to them.
"Of course, but come we must get back before sunrise." Tom answered back leading them to his boat in a hurry.
"Where'd this boat come from, who is this guy?" Elisa questioned about the boat and who exactly this Tom guy was supposed to be.
"Tom was a friend of my Clan when friends were all too few." Goliath answered about who Tom was exactly. "If this is actually Tom then we must go."
"Well Bronx seems to like him." Elisa stated to them gesturing over towards the Gargoyle Beast who was comfortable with them man.
"Come, or the Archmage will destory the eggs." Tom called out to them about going to save the eggs. When the others got on he began to chant a magic spell while pushing the boat further into the waters leading them to an island that was nowhere near the lake that they'd left on.
When they came ashore Bronx began barking happily going up to a cliffside wall with Elisa stating "Seems Bronx likes it here."
"He's found the Eggs, up there." Tom stated gesturing to atop the cliff as some Gargoyles had appeared in front of them surprising Goliath to see that the eggs had hatched and grown quite a bit already.
The Gargoyls atop the cliff had glided down with their own yellowish green colored Gargyole Beast and one of them hugged Tom stating "Guardian, welcome home."
"These are the eggs?" Elisa questioned gesturing to the Gargoyles who seemed to be the same age as the trio of Goliath's clan.
"Sorry, I've always called them that." Tom answered back while petting the other Gargoyle Beast that was welcoming him to Avalon.
"Wow, are you Goliath?" The one that had a skin tone similar to his own questioned and he'd nodded in response "Wow, this is like a dream come true."
"Goliath, Elisa, this is Angela." Tom stated to them introducing the female Gargoyle that was in front of them.
"We should get back to the castle." The male Gargoyle in front of them stated while gesturing back towards the castle was supposed to be.
"Gabriel's right, it could be dangerous here." Angela agreed about returning back to where the others should be.
"Angela, you take point." Tom told the female Gargoyle while gesturing towards the way back to the castle.
"I know this isn't the time but I couldn't help notice that Angela looks a lot like Demona but her coloring is different, who's daughter is she?" Elisa spoke walking alongside Goliath having noticed something off.
"Daughters and sons belong to the whole Clan Elisa. It is the Gargoyle way." Goliath answered back explaining about how parentage works for Gargoyles.
"How many were wounded?" Goliath questioned as they were led into the castle where the wounded were laying on beds to rest and recover.
"Too many, before tonight there was never a need to hone our skills in combat." The Gargoyle named Gabriel explained about what happened.
An elderly woman had taken notice and run over calling "Tom, oh I've prayed for your safe return." hugging The Guardian glad that he was safe.
"Princess?" Goliath questioned surprised to see her as an old woman since the last time she was around the age of what humans called teenagers.
"Goliath, oh Tom you've found him!" The woman spoke in response glad to see him "Oh this is more than I'd hoped for."
"And the way you've guarded our children, is more than I've dreamed of." Goliath stated to the woman with a grateful smile on his face as he'd bowed forwards adidng "I am glad to be here."
"I only wish times were as equally glad here." The Princess stated picking up the sheet on the back of one of the wounded Gargoyles.
"Laser burns, tell me what happened here!" Goliath spoke with his eyes glowing white angry at what he'd seen.
"You have to understand, ever since we arrived upon Avalon all those years ago, Avalon has been completely deserted." The man with white hair stated to them. "Except for the sleeping king that is, the Weird Sisters led the charge against us. Along with two warriors armed with magical weapons."
"One was a gray haired human, the other was a female Gargoyle we once knew as your second in command." Tom explained to them about what happened here.
"Demona?" Questioned the leader of the Manhattan clan hearing that they'd been attacked by her.
"I'll bet the man was Macbeth, though why he's working with her is anyone's guess. Didn't you say he wanted her gone for good?" Elisa questioned about that situation.
"Yes, he did." Goliath answered back about Macbeth wanting Demona gone. "The Weird Sisters must be pulling the strings."
"My old master the Archmage calls this dance. I am not sure how he managed to return after the defeat but he seems stronger than I've seen him thus far." Answered the Magus about what he'd seen of things.
"After that disasterous battle I left to find help, and thankfully Avalon dropped me into your laps." Tom explained to the trio about how things eneded up the way they did.
"But we are running out of time, if we do not defeat the Archmage's sources before sunrise then the next battle will be over before it starts." The Magus explained to them about having to stop them before the sun rises.
