Gargoyles: Stone By Night Season 02 Episode 07
Goliath and the others had finally returned home to the clocktower where the others were on edge about them having been missing for a long while. That was quickly remedied when Bronx jumped on top of Hudson and greeted him happily.
"It's only been a couple of nights guys." Elisa stated as they'd gone down the greet the others happy to see them again.
"This is Angela, my daughter." Goliath stated introducing Angela to the rest of the Manhattan Clan that had yet to meet her.
"It's nice to meet you, my rookery sisters would be amazed seeing your.. Manhattan was it?" Angla stated about meeting them and about their home and about how her family would react to it.
"Hey Goliath, quick question. While you were gone we kind of had a bit of an argument, when you're not here, who's your second in command?" Brooklyn questioned about who was supposed to handle things while he's not there.
"Why, you are Brooklyn. You're the most level headed out of the trio, I'd have thought that was obvious. Though you should always look to Hudson and consider his words just as I have." Goliath answered simply stating that Brooklyn was in charge if he's not there to lead them.
"Welcome to our Clan lass, Goliath where did you find her?" Hudson greeted Angela and asking about how he had a discovered that he had a daughter.
"On Avalon, with the rest of our clan's eggs. All hatched and fully grown." Goliath answered back about where he'd discovered Angela. "But that's not all, the princess and your little friend Tom were also there, along with the Magus." Goliath answered back about who had survived.
"Sadly, the Magus passed helping save everyone from the Archmage and the Weird Sisters." Angela stated about how the Magus had passed.
"The Magus was loyal to the crown even to the end of his days. You'll not find a more honerable warrior." Hudson stated to them about the Magus.
"Goliath, I must speak with you." Titania spoke appearing to talk with Goliath about something important.
Shortly after she'd explained everything Goliath responds "I've learned from watching the humans that nothing should ever come between a parent and child, even if that parent is Xanatos."
"So be it, but should you interefre Oberon will destroy you." She warned about rejecting her request and vanishing.
Something caused Elisa to fall asleep and the Gargoyles began trying to wake her but didn't have any luck "Oberon must have used his magic to put the entire city to sleep. Lexington, Elisa showed me a device used to contact the Plumbers. It's a white computer with a red button, go down to the precint below and call for help. We'll come up with a plan up here." Goliath stated and the smallest of the trio nodded and ran off to do that.
"What do you recommend Goliath?" Hudson questioned about what they should do to stop Oberon exactly.
"Oberon has a weakness to Iron, see if you can find anything that may be useful." Goliath answered and they nodded in response.
Lexington meanwhile had gone down finding all the other humans sleeping and ran to the machine pressing the button on it "Um, he-hello? I'm not sure if I've done this right. My name is Lexington I was deputized by Spider-Man. If anyone can hear me, we need help, we need the biggest and baddest guys you can spare to throw at this threat please."
The machine had made a fizzling noise before someon on the other end spoke stating "Copy that deputy Lexington, please explain the nature of your threat."
"Uh, magical, but like super dangerous magical. He's the master of all of Avalon's magic and could possibly do just about anything he wants with a thought. He put the whole city to sleep so we'll need parametics to check on any crashes that were caused too. I think that's it, thank you for helping." Lexington answered about what he'd heard about Oberon.
"Copy that, we'll send back up immdiately." The voice responded again before then the sound cut out completely.
The Gargoyles spot Oberon striking at a barrier yelling out "I want the child and I will have it!" while striking at the barrier around the building again getting angrier stating "You dare defy the lord of Avalon, then suffer my wrath!" as lightning struck across the sky.
They heard an ear piercing screech like that of a lage bird and the lightning struck Oberon knocking him back away from the building before swooping down and grabbing them with their talons moving them away from the building and throwing them into the River before letting out another piercing cry and making lightning strike it causing him to cry out in pain.
"What matter of sorcery is this, I am Oberon Master of ALL of Avalon's Magic!" Oberon called out angry with the Gargoyles watching the battle taking place in awe of what they saw.
"Boy when I asked them to call in the big gun, they really called in the big guns." Lexington spoke about what they were seeing.
What looked like people had jumped from the giant bird and one of them created a platform of pinkish see through energy for them to stand on and held out their hands as a massive tornado that was the same color as the platform appear around Oberon lifting him into the air.
Oberon yelled out "YOU CANNOT DEFY ME!" when the guy that was still falling crossed his arms and in a blinding green flash became a large humanoid creature who's boddy looked to have entirely been filled with the night sky and stars.
The Massive bird also changed in a great flash becoming one similar to the other except their body was white and red in color. Both of them crossed their arms and blasted outwards at Oberon in the tornado causing him to cry out in pain.
There were extra large versions of the metal clan that appeared to help alongside the air ship that Goliath once infiltrated releasing robots of their own to do battle with Oberon and he'd grown angry unleashing a powerful burst of energy that knocked them back away from him and the Gargoyles flew off to try to find a way to help somehow.
A powerful slash of purple energy struck Oberon's face causing his cheek to be cut by it and drip with blood angering him even more as they hear someone call out "AWAKEN LEGENDARY TITAN OF SUMMONS QUETZALCOATL!" as a massive feathered serpent with wings appeared to attack Oberon.
"INCINERATE THEM IGNATIUS!" Another man called with a walking being made of fire appeared that looked to be around the size of Goliath, maybe larger. "CLEAR THE WAY METAGOLEM!" The man called out with a large being made of rock appearing as well maybe a little bigger than the flaming creature.
The stone creature threw pices of the pavement at Oberon and the flaming creature blasted them with fire as he was distracted by the large feathered serpent and the guy who summoned it sent out another slash of energy from the strange sword in their hand knocking them back.
"LET'S GO POWERBONDED KIPPERIN, AWAKEN POWERBONDED LEGENDARY TITAN OF CHAMPIONS PENDRAGON!" The guy with the sword then called jumping from the rooftop he was on and a strange green creature wrapped itself around him as if it had taken the form of an armor of sorts along with a dragon appearing that hat bladed wings and they'd flown forwards to face him sending out another slash of energy at Oberon putting a cut into his shoulder.
"BRISTLEBIND!" The guy who summoned the large flaming creature and stone golem called blasting the water with some energy and continued to force the spell to go and go and go until the bristle binds had grown large enough to hold Oberon back but he'd soon dropped to his knees with the two creatures vanishing as he was breathing heavily.
The Gargoyles flew around Oberon while he was struggling to break free of the thorny vines that had shot up from the ground to help distract him as the guy with the sword called out "Powerbonded Pendragon, unleash your Energy Sword Breath!" with his Dragon shooting out a blast of energy from his mouth appeard as many energy versions of the sword being carried by him and stabbed repeatedly into Oberon. While that was going on the feathered serpent turned into lightning and shot itself through the ruler of Avalon.
That gave the other two largest people that were fighting time to recover and they'd blasted at Oberon again this time with the others helping and the person who created the tornado had also managed to recover doing it again. The onsloght was more than Oberon could take and he'd shrunk down dropping into the waters below.
"It would appear that Mr. Xantos' magical allies were more than even Oberon could take." Owen stated walking out from the street with Titania. "There is magic even beyond that of Avalon's sway. Impressive, don't you think mother?" He'd questioned looking over at her.
"Yes I have seen enough." Titania answered back about them loosing to the people of the mortal realm. "There is plenty of magic here that can nuture Alexander and teach him to become a powerful faye, and thus there's no more need to take him."
Sometime long after Oberon had regained consciousness Titania had explained Oberon's defeat to him and of the magic all around them. They no longer had a need to take the child with them to Avalon anymore and so would leave little Alexander with his parents. "Yes, agreed. Though someone still needs to teach them of Avalon's magics."
"If I may, I will be happy to remain here." Owen stated revealing himself as Puck to them "I'll be glad to give them a few pointers. Lessons from Uncle Puck would surely go a long way after all."
"Very well Puck, you have made your choice and now you shall live with it. You are banished from Avalon Puck, never again will you sample it's paradice until the child has grown to make the choice of joining us of their own will at the age of adulthood." Oberon stated to him surprising Puck about what he'd just said. "You are hereby stripped of all your powers save for when you are protecting or training the boy known as Alexander Fox Xanatos, grandson of Titania queen of Avalon."
With that Puck was forced once more to return to the form of Owen "Yes, father." He'd responded surprising the others to hear him saying that.
"Allow me one moment to say my goodbyes my lord." Titania spoke walking over to Fox stating "Be well Fox, I plan to drop in from time to time to visit. I promise on my word as Queen of Avalon, we will not try to take them again. Take care of them, they'll need you as little Alex grows up." She'd then stated that last part to Owen who'd nodded in response.
"Yes, mother." Owen answered back about watching over them surprising everyone again about what he'd said. Once Oberon and Titania Owen then turned to the others saying "What, you did not believe you were Titania's only child did you?"
