The crew is in a field looking at a siege in progress. Men are climbing the walls of the city with guards and knights in shining armor fending them off a few women are seen on top with very unknightly armor. It's like a scene from an anime. The attackers are obviously deserters from the attack of the gate, ripping their sigils from the banners and wearing cloaks to hide their colors.

Marlowe:" So are we going in ?"

Everyone:" Hell no."

Redford:" Unless you have a whole platoon in your pocket, I am not going in there."

Sweetwater:" Yeah, forget all the fantasy books ."

Haggard:" Don't get me wrong, I would love to see them explode in big puffs of smoke, but I don't think I have the explosives."

The Walls and fields were filled with bodies, the battle was over and everyone was exhausted. The front gate was knocked out. Princes Pina Colada was ordering the men to prepare for another attack. The survivors were Peasants commanded by not so well-equipped soldiers. The maids of the castle were giving off rations.

Pina Colada:"Noma you take turns eating and resting as well. No signs of the enemy?"

Noma:" A wagon with no horses is approaching it looks like the rumored men in green."

Shocked Pina just fended off an army and couldn't face another attack, and they were only 4 maybe they are a warning or asking for their surrender.

Pina:" Stand down, I will talk with them."

Haggard:" woowy they sure did some damage."

Redford:" Sweetwater translate what I say."

Sweetwater:" Alright sarge."

Sweetwater:" Really, you couldn't shorten it a bit sarge?"

Redford:" Shut the hell up and translate, Sweetwater!"

Sweetwater translates.

Pina:" Are you here as friend or foe?"

A idea got into her mind, potentially if she asks them for help she might actually be able to save the city and strengthen relations.

Pina:" Perhaps we can amend this misunderstanding and your country can set its troops in Itarica helping us defend the city from these bandits and welcoming you as a Allie of the Empire."

Redford:" I have to call in with my commanders."

Pina:" How long will that take."

Redford:" Just give me a moment."

Redford walks back to the Hummvee talking on the radio.

Haggard:" So are we accepting this and killing them in their sleep of what."

Marlowe:" I don't think that's a good idea."

Sweetwater:" Yeah, that's a bit extreme Haggard."

Haggard:" Oh, you're just a bunch of sissies."

Redford:" Alright, we are being re-assigned to Itarica we are now fighting a war on terror in this world."

Haggard:" And what, us 4 are going to search every bush and tree in a 4-mile radio."

Redford:" No, that army group we have fighting the Russians, all 100 000 of us are moving here. Sweetwater, tell this to the lady, except you know the 100 000 soldiers part."

After that US troops started pouring out of the Gate giant engineering machines building a base and digging trenches Mainly digging trenches through the entire mountain side and thousands of tents and materials for housing and bunkers . A dirt road already made to Italica from the constant movement of trucks and tanks of the 222nd. They have taken a lot of the policing and security duties after all the Empire's soldiers either died or are wounded.

Most of the 222nd did it because they were ordered to, not because they wanted to. B Company suddenly became ambassadors for the rest of high command, as they were the one who are going to be sent to fuck around and find out what this world has to offer. Guards on the walls laid around propping getting chairs just because they were too lazy to actually stand up and look out. They had a radio playing musics and maybe a TV at some points. Below, untrained gate guards had a basic to-do list for anyone trying to enter the city. (Are they traders, civilians, refugees, or vehicles from the other side) ask for documents ( Other military, country, order, or delegation.) ask for documents and escort to the castle.

JSDF 3th Recon team road to South gate: 10:25

They approached the gate slowly with no guards peeking out, no watchers on the walls, nothing, just a closed gate. As they arrived, Itami got out to knock on the door as he heard something from the top. The Seven Universe theme ?

Itami:" Hey, is someone there? !"

From the top of the wall, someone shuffled audibly, dropping a couple of things and peeking out.

Soldier:" Oh, who the fu..." Peeks down. " What the fuck do you want? !" In English

The soldier was wearing a mask covering his entire face and orange goggles with the standard US woodland camo and a bulletproof vest with shoulders and a sown in neck protector. It was torn and dirty, he had a vest that was loos and filled with grenades and mags all over the place.

Itami surprised, but he composes himself and with a straight face salutes and says in English

Itami:" First Lieutenant Itami from the JSDF, we are here to ..."

Soldier:" Look I am not interested in your life's story, and I am not the god-damn president, so get in, I will tell the guards we have a bunch of cowards at the front."

The soldier grabs a radio and talks to the soldiers below him that operate the gate and check in everyone.

Soldier:" Hey, remember the Japanese in our world."

Gate Soldier:" Those weebs that got overran and surrendered in the first months."

Soldier:" Yeah, their new JSDF is here acting professional, welcome them."

The gate opened and the JSDF moved in. As the last vehicle passed the gate they closed it and a couple of the same soldiers blocked their path they had unknown guns and all had grenade launchers, one of them went to the window of the driver Kurata.

Gate Soldier:" Well well look what we have here paperwork now."

Kurata:" Paper work! ?"

Itami:" Do we even have paperwork in here."

He opens the glove compartment and there was a bunch of paperwork of the vehicle there.

Itami:" Oh thank god. Here."

The Soldier looked through them.

Gate Soldier:" 2013 expired documents. Old certificate. Considering your country got blown to oblivion to be honest, I am surprised you even have this."

He went to the gate and a side door that goes in the wall.

Itami:" After our country got blown up what are these guys talking about."

Kurata:" I have no idea."

After a minute, he walks out and gives Kurata a paper.

Gate Soldier: This here is all the discrepancies we found, you have to go to that big ol Castle and give that to the commander we will sort it out with your embassy. Also, you are technically considered a delegation in this world, so you have to talk with princes Pina Colada no I am not joking. Alright off you go just keep going forward. "

After that they continued in shock on their way.

Kurata:" This is not what I was expecting, the sounded like the US sure didn't look like them."

Itami:" Wrong uniform, strange rifles. I have no idea special forces ? "
