"Your Majesty?" Calypsa hummed. "What is it?" She continued writing on her pad, analysing the screens intently. "You have-uh, well, Dryl has some visitors," The aide continued. "Why is that my problem?" She asked. "I'm Queen, not a tour guide," The aide sighed. "Figure something out," She continued writing. "Well, you see, it's Princess Glimmer of Bright Moon and..." The aide paused. Calypsa sighed and put her pen down. "Have you lost your voice? Spit it out," She snapped, moving to attach her cape and skirt. "It's her, your majesty. The girl you've been researching," Calypsa paused. "She-Ra is here?" The aide paused. "Well... not exactly..."
"Hello, Princess Glimmer. To what do I owe this pleasure?" Calypsa greeted. Glimmer faltered. Calypsa narrowed her eyes slightly. The girl Glimmer was holding was... clearly not with it, to put it lightly. "Well, we came to ask Entrapta to join the rebellion," She grunted, grabbing the blonde's arm tightly. Calypsa raised an eyebrow. "Because we're rebuilding it," She continued, pushing the blonde against the wall. Calypsa crossed her arms. "Mm, hmm." She watched cooly as Glimmer tried to contain the dopey blonde. "And uh well, when we came, the distress beacon was lit!" Calypsa pointed with a delicate finger. "She's wondered off, by the way,"
Glimmer growled. In an explosion of sparkles, she was gone. Calypsa sighed softly. "Davey," She called. The robot butler her little sister built was by her side in an instant. "Let the guard know of the beacon," Davey beeped. Calypsa pursed her lips. "Also send somebody to check on Entrapta, please. It may just be an experiment of hers gone awry again," Davey beeped and rushed away.
Calypsa smoothed back her hair in a desperate attempt to keep calm. An explosion of sparkles and Glimmer was there again, complete with the blonde. Calypsa cleared her throat. "Whilst I know of you, Princess Glimmer-"
"Just Glimmer is fine," She interrupted. Calypsa took a breath. "-I know not of your friend. How can I trust you are not with the Horde?" She walked closer, her beautiful heels clacking on the ground. She tugged the blonde's red jacket. "This is the colour of a Horde soldier," She stepped back again. "It's a super long story, one I'll explain to you as soon as we get Entrapta," Calypsa raised an eyebrow. "Why her? I am the Queen of Dryl. Therefore, any allegiance you wish to make, should be done through me, and me only,"
Glimmer flustered for an excuse. Calypsa stayed cool. The blonde began babbling about needing to save the world. Calypsa raised an eyebrow. Glimmer growled. "Fine! This is She-Ra!" Calypsa snorted, then flushed. "I am sorry. A Queen does not snort," She apologised. Glimmer flapped her hand. "Never mind that," She forced the blonde up. "This is Adora. This sword," Calypsa followed Glimmer's finger. "A nice sword," She complimented. She frowned at the angry red vines leaving the runestone in the middle. "Yeah, sure. But this sword turns her into She-Ra,"
Calypsa hummed and walked. She walked around the blonde twice in a circle, observing her. She hummed again. "But... whatever virus that caused Entrapta's robots to freak caused She-Ra to freak as well," Calypsa rolled her shoulders. "Most likely First One's tech. Possibly a crystal," She supplied. Glimmer nodded. "That's what Entrapta said. She's trying to get into her lab to disable the crystal, and I'm supposed to help her, but I can't. Adora's too... well, you can see. She's not able to be left alone."
Calypsa scanned the blonde again. "I am sure I could spare a few moments to watch her, whilst you assist my sister, Princess Glimmer," The relief on her face was almost contagious. "Great! If I can help disable the crystal, Adora will be back to normal, which means She-Ra will work again! Thanks Calypsa!"
Calypsa barely had time to catch the blonde as she tripped forward.
She walked them to one of the many rooms in the castle that was a designated "Calypsa room" only.
There wasn't a lot in the rooms. A lounge chair large enough to sleep on, if she fell asleep during research, complete with a grand blanket, and a small kitchen. Hidden behind a mirage lay her many computers and screens, tracking the Horde's every movement.
It just so happened that this "Adora" fell straight through the mirage and crashed into Calypsa's chair. "Oh no," She pulled up her dress and rushed over, helping the fallen woman up. Calypsa's hands involuntarily lit up as she felt the muscle beneath Adora's jacket. She felt the heat rush to her cheeks as Adora's grey/blue eyes met hers. "You're really pretty," She slurred. Calypsa looked away briefly. "So are you. Come on, up we get,"
It took some time, but Calypsa managed to get the sloppy blonde to her lounge chair. "Here," She said, dropping the blanket over her form. "Sleep it off. We're safe here," She tore off her cape and lower half of her dress, sighing in relief. Whilst she did like to wear her formal gown, after all, it was her favourite colours... when she wasn't on duty, or when she was studying the Horde, she preferred to be in her cropped dress. It gave her more freedom to think and move around. Adora snored loudly from the lounge chair, bringing a small smile to Calypsa's face. She shook her head and sat at her desk. She picked up her pad and began to write.
Horde only moves during the day. Not often at night.
Horde has several groups. One ran by scorpion, one by angry cat.
Scorpian = 50
Angry cat = 150+
Not attacked for seven months, due one.
Adora snored again from the lounge chair. Calypsa paused before writing a final piece of info.
She-Ra = test.
