"Okay Marucho, you know that you will not have much time inside there." Sora Perse said.

"Yes, now hurry up and open the door." Marucho said.

Sora Perse sighed, "we're going to get into so much trouble." Marucho laughed and the door was opened up in front of him. There, Marucho turned to see Allie running at him. He barely had any time to scream before he was on the floor.

"Ow." Marucho said.

Allie sat up, "I'm sorry, Marucho." Allie said. Marucho smiled and brought Allie into another hug, still on the floor, halfway out of Allie's cell.

"I'm going to need you to get inside the cell." Sora Perse said.

Marucho let go and stood up, "oh yeah, sorry about that." Allie stood up as well and they went back into his cell as Sora Perse closed the door. Allie sat on his bed and beckoned Marucho over as well. Marucho sat on the bed, scooching back to cross his legs on it.

"So, how are you?" Allie asked. Marucho groaned and leaned forward to rest his forehead on Allie's upper back.

"Marucho, what are you doing?" Allie asked, obviously flustered.

"'M tired." Marucho said.

"Aw, well do you want to sleep in the bed? I can move." Allie said. Marucho hugged his arm.

"Noooo, I wanna sleep with you." Marucho whined.

"Huh- Marucho, I'm not tired." Allie said.

"UUUUGHHHHHH, BAAAAD."

"FINE Marucho. We'll go to sleep." Allie said. Marucho wore his winning smile proudly.

"You know we can't both fit on this bed, right?" Allie asked.

"Why not?" Marucho asked.

"Why not? This is a bed for one person and you're trying to fit two people in it." Allie said.

"And we're fitting in it right now." Marucho replied.

"You want to go to sleep sitting up?" Allie asked.

"Well we could lean against the wall." Marucho suggested.

"You know what, no. You go to sleep on the bed, and I'll just sit on the floor." Allie said, getting off of the bed. Marucho kept his grip on Allie's arm tight.

"Nyeugggggh."

"What do you want, Marucho?" Allie said, turning to face him. Marucho just stared at him.

"Marucho, you can talk. Why are you just whining?" Allie asked. Marucho didn't feel like talking. He brought Allie's arm closer to him and leaned his cheek on it. Allie was confused and Marucho held it tighter. Allie sighed and got back on the bed. He went to the back of it and leaned against the wall. Marucho scooted to lean his head on Allie's shoulder instead.

"There, are you happy?" Allie asked.

"Yes." Marucho said. Allie smiled and looked away. Marucho could feel his own cheeks warm at the thought of what he was doing. And the warmth was comfortable, because he knew that he was with Allie. Finally. It was almost like it wasn't real. Like he wasn't actually with Allie. He got off of Allie's shoulder and Allie turned to face him.

"Is there something- wrong?" Marucho held Allie's face in his hands. He started turning it left and right to inspect it. Allie started to smile through his squished cheeks.

"'Geppy, what are you doing?" Allie asked. Marucho concluded that it was indeed Allie and poked his nose, "boop." Marucho's arms fell back to Allie's arm. He was about to put his head back down until Allie put his hand under his chin and lifted his face back to look at him.

"They already got the ones on your face." Allie said. Marucho had forgotten all about the diamonds until he mentioned it.

"Yeah, they did it at the beginning of this week." Marucho replied. Allie ran the fingers of his unoccupied hand over the newly grown diamonds. Marucho giggled at the feeling. They ran from his cheek to his upper lip, to his forehead, over his 'freckles,' and back down to his cheek. Then he stopped he looked right at Marucho, locking eyes with him.

The hand on Marucho's chin moved to his other cheek. Marucho turned the rest of his body to face Allie as well. He leaned into Allie's touch and was lifted more to Allie's level. This was happening, it was actually happening. This was real, they were real. Marucho had never felt like this before. His heart felt like it would beat out of his chest. He put his hands on Allie's chest, trying to see if he felt the Sora Persee way. The seconds felt like hours as both of them waited for the other's consent.

Marucho made the fist move in, gripping Allie's shirt in his hands. Allie leaned in as well. Inch by inch, centimeter by centimeter, they continued to close the gap. Then Marucho made the last lean as soon as the metal door opened. Allie's face was turned to face the door and Marucho's lips made contact with his cheek. His eyes opened wide, and he pushed away from Allie quickly.

Aura and Frederick entered the room to see the two boys with their faces red to their ears. Aura decided that he would rather not see what the boys were up to prior to their walk in.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Uh, well," Frederick was at a loss for words as she looked down to her feet.

"It's time for you to go back Marucho. We don't want you to get home too late." Aura said.

"Wait, we're leaving right now?" Marucho asked.

"Yes, let's go." Frederick said.

"But you said that I wasn't going to see him for a while." Marucho said.

"Yes and you weren't supposed to see him now." Frederick replied.

"Wait, you came in here without permission?" Allie asked.

"Well yeah, they wouldn't let me in otherwise." Marucho said.

"Why wouldn't they let you in? The deal was already-"

"Marucho, come on!" Frederick said, cutting off Allie.

"Wait, what about the deal?" Marucho asked.

"Yeah the deal has already been bro-"

"Marucho!" Frederick cut him off again. Aura put a hand on Frederick's shoulder and leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"It was never an if." Frederick glared at him.

"I won't let it be a when." She marched over to Marucho and grabbed him by his upper arm.

"What about the deal, Frederick?" Marucho asked.

"The deal is still on, we were just experimenting with it so that you would be able to visit him." Frederick said, forming a lie out of whatever random phrases she could come up with.

"Frederick, enough." Aura's voice boomed through the small room. Frederick let go of Marucho's arm. "You have to tell him now, or else he'll never forgive you." Aura said. Frederick looked down.

"Aura, please. Give me some time." Frederick pleaded.

"I was going to give you time, but you started lying. And not even lying for his benefit." Aura said. Frederick sighed.

"Let's just go home. We can talk about this later. Don't worry, you'll get to see him again." Frederick said.

"When again?" Marucho asked.

"I don't know. Some day this week I think." Frederick said.

"Then it's a promise!" Marucho said as he jumped off of the bed. Frederick looked at Aura for mercy but he was tired of giving it to her.

"Well Allie, I'll see you later." Marucho said.

"Goodbye Marucho!" Allie said.

Marucho happily left the prison with Frederick knowing that he had won. And throughout the entire car ride, he looked out the window with a smile. He was going to see Allie again soon. And then they would hang out in his cell on his bed again and then they would- Marucho cut off his thoughts with a giggle. They were so close to it. A kiss. He wondered if Allie's lips were as soft as the skin on his cheek. Maybe even softer. He covered his mouth with his sweater paw as his smile grew wide.

When they got home, Frederick walked to her room without another word. Odd, but Marucho didn't mind. He just walked to his own room with a piece of paper and a book. He started writing, but this time it wasn't pages from the book. It was more like a diary.

'I got to see Allie today. It was nice being aible to c him, and to now that he is alieve. I am very exited to c him agan. We almost kised. I wondr how it wood feel. Good? Prolly. I hoep that we can do it next tiem that I see him.'

Marucho smiled at the note and folded it. He put the ink and quill on the stool next to his bed and stood up. He walked out of his room and to the trash can. Then, he started to rip up the piece of paper.

It was fun to write it out, but he didn't want Frederick to see and say something about it. He ripped it until even some of the letters were torn in half. He smiled and went back to his room. Sometime this week. He just had to wait until that sometime came.

Allie laid in his bed with a hand to his cheek. Marucho had kissed his cheek. Even more, he almost kissed him on the lips. What would have happened then? Well, getting out would be a lot nicer if he Marucho had liked him back. Back to that point, why was he staying there? Sora Perse and Aura had already told him that the contract had been broken and that he would be leaving soon.

So why did Marucho say that it would be a while before they would see each other again. He guessed that it was Frederick's fault. Allie didn't know what to think about Frederick, was she a good person sometimes. Well, she was nice to Marucho, and Ricky Steamboat, and Dean Ambrose, and Tate and Aura and Sora Perse, and basically everyone except him. Does she still not trust Allie? He wished he could assure her a thousand times over that he was a nice person and that Marucho would be safe with him. She would probably stop believing her at 'person.'

It was a curse to be a natural born demon. He was hated and discriminated against and he hadn't even done anything. His whole life he was forced to stay on the farm. And he hadn't said anything Allie about anyone, or even thought of anyone in a Allie way. Life really doesn't go both ways.

The next day, Frederick was still in her room. And it looked like she didn't come out the entire time that Marucho was asleep either. He wondered what she could be doing. He didn't mind it too much though, he just went to the stove and started making himself breakfast. He was never really taught how to make breakfast, or really do anything.

His entire life was just given to him as long as he gave away his diamonds. And at some point, he was okay with that. After a while of being taught nothing different, he believed he was a spoiled brat. And really, he was, he still is. He just keeps on taking without ever giving. He was trying to make himself the perfect life. We see how far that's gotten. Now he was a stove burning one of the easiest meals to make again.

All he had to do was take the eggs off the burner without burning them. But his thoughts made him loose focus on his work. It was boring to just watch the eggs, but he would have to be super focused on them and only them to make them right.

He really was useless for a child his age. Every other teenager in his village was doing something to help the rest of the town. And him? He was just sitting around all day, only leaving to sit in a room for about an hour every few days. And he was complaining about his living conditions? It was laughable how he was able to do it.

There are way too many people less fortunate than him, and he's getting upset over this? Over not being able to see his friend for a little longer. Some kids don't have friends or parents or families. But he couldn't stop from pitying himself. The only thought that could stop himself from drowning in pity was the thought of being able to see him again. He would be able to see him again and again.

And then when they gather up all of the evidence, Allie will be set free. Yeah, and then he'll be bale to see him every day of his life. They would live together and do everything and anything that they want to. It was a silly fantasy, one only a child could make up. Marucho snapped out of his thought and pushed the burnt eggs onto a plate. He sighed as he cleaned the dishes and put them away. He took his eggs to the table and started to eat them again. Everything would be different once Allie gets out.

Frederick didn't want Marucho to leave her. It was the only child that she's had. The only family that she would have for a long time. Eventually he would leave her behind to live somewhere else. But right now was not that time. She wouldn't let him slip out of her fingertips just like that. She couldn't let him just leave and live without her.

She couldn't live without him. All of the parents in the village will ridicule her and tell her that it was all her fault. They would tell her that she should have gotten a man in the house to put that boy in his place. But that's where she started to have doubts. The fork in the road. Would she sacrifice her happiness for his? Or would she continue with her goal from the very beginning? Did she really value Marucho's happiness over her own?

Would it be selfish to force him next to her even if her life was at stake? Yes, yes it would be. But she had to, her future was at stake. Of course, his future was also at stake. She had both of their lives in her hand. And to move on, she would have to throw the other one away.

She got off of her bed and went to the living room. There was no one there. She continued to the kitchen and dining room to see that there was no one there either. Then, she looked to Marucho's room. She breathed out and turned the handle. Marucho was startled by the noise.

"Marucho, I'm sorry. But I can't have you visiting Allie this week."
