At first a numb tingling ran throughout Zack's body followed by a slow, burning sensation and in a flash it stopped. The taste of bile grew and his vision was blurred with silhouettes and fuzzy lights being the only things somewhat visible.
A prick was felt on his arm and the muffed sounds became clearer.
"You're all right tourist?", came a calm if stern voice.
"Somewhat.", Zack managed to choke out.
"Drink this.", said the voice.
"Halt!", slurred a voice from down the hall.
O
"Halt!", shouted a grunt, "This is the end of the line!"
Giving a passing glance to the tourist, Kouki whistled for Luxray to pounce. The grunt's suit denoted a management role and should provide Luxray some entertainment.
"Machop! Machoke! Crush these pests!", ordered the grunt.
The Machop ran ahead as the Machoke took a stance, most likely for a dynamic punch with the little guy giving as a distraction. As the Machop came within a meter of Luxray, Kouki ordered, "Thunder Fang."
Luxray wasted no time in pouncing on the Machop and sinking its fangs into the arm it was readying to attack with. Machop's scream was quashed as Luxray thrashed him about and pinning him to a wall. Luxray gave a guttural growl before shocking Machop who was trying to pry his arm from the beast. With this last pang of pain the Machop went limp, his breathing became shallow, and the scent of burnt flesh wafted in the air.
The hall shook.
"Choooooke!", roared the Machoke pelting Luxray across the hall.
"Good for nothing, return Machop!", cursed the grunt, "Machoke bulk up."
Machop's eyes glazed over, his breathing came in bursts, veins began to protrude giving his skin a red hue, and his face contorted into a snarl which was fixed on the recovering Luxray.

"Tourist you're going to have to leave.", demanded Kouki, "Take Monferno with you."
Zack, who's eyes began to adjust, weakly nodded at the young trainer and took Monferno's pokeball before saying, "They got…my rabbit."
Kouki stared at Zack, "I'll get your Buneary in one piece."
Zack looked back at Kouki before releasing Monferno and heading to safer ground.
O
"Machoke, rock smash!", ordered the grunt.
Machoke sprinted forward to deliver another blow. Kouki called out, "Luxray, thunderbolt!"
Luxray roared as electricity sparked throughout its body, growing into a bolt of lightning which struck the charging Machoke. It was not deterred and rushed into the attack with little hesitation. It clenched its fist as it came in range, shifted its weight, and struck down at the shocking Luxray.
A loud crack confirmed the hit as Luxray's head dented the floor upon impact. Losing itself in a fit of rage, the Machoke ignored any orders from his trainer, raised its foot high above the panting Luxray before smashing it down.
Machoke screamed not in triumph but a deep, guttural yell caused by a tremendous pain which shot up its leg. Machop's skin begin to fade back into it's normal tone as he tumbled onto his back. Luxray, who was still latched on the Machoke's calve, took notice of the opening presented and leapt on top of the prone pokemon.
Luxray began swiping at the Machoke, eliciting cries out of the downed pokemon, until its resistance and voice waned.
"Luxray enough.", ordered Kouki watching the Galatic grunt flee. But the Luxray wouldn't listen, digging its claws into its prey as a show of defiance. Seeing the battle won, Kouki returned the Luxray who only glared back at the trainer before the red light engulfed it.
Kouki wipes his brow and spray a potion over the wounded pokemon. He steeled himself once more and proceeded higher into the building.

"Fue, fue!", called out the fire monkey.
Zack hobbled behind the fire monkey, cursing the pain he felt with each step. He kept his head on a swivel in case any more bowl heads came to attack.
"Fue! Fue!", shouted the fire monkey, sounding more impatient with each cry.
Zack dragged his feet closer to the fire monkey but each step caused a dull pressure in his head. At first he tried to ignore it yet the pain only grew until his limbs tingled.
"Mon fue!", cried the fire monkey.
Zack's eyesight became fuzzy with only a glowing orange light to identify the pokemon guide.
"Mon monfer, no!", excitedly exclaimed the Monferno as Zack could barely see an emergency exit sign shining above a door frame.
The edges slowly faded to black and the lights grew weaker.
"No?", cried out Monferno as he saw Zack nearly stumble.
Zack legs began to get heavier and refused to move.
"Monferno!", Monferno cursed as Zack collapsed.
Zack's eyesight faded into darkness, his body rejected any act of movement, and the floor greedily drained Zack's warmth. It was cold. Zack last remembered a growing heat approach him and faint, rapid calls of 'mon mon mon'.

And we finished with part 2 of storming a Galatic base. While yes having a teen do so would be a bit far fetch, having him come in with an over leveled, for this part of the game, pokemon seems reasonable enough.
