[Ocean Avenue - Seymour Bay]
It was just another Monday afternoon in the town of Seymour Bay, and currently on the street known as Ocean avenue Gene, Tina, and Louise Belcher were making their way from Wagstaff Elementary School.
The three Belcher siblings always took the same route every day whenever they came home from school so they could work in their father's restaurant, something to which they get no pay. Usually the Belchers would be talking with one another, but this day everyone was quiet, especially Gene, which was unusual...
"Mmm..."was the only noise that came out of Gene's mouth.
"Middle child seeking attention."whispered Louise to Tina.
"What's wrong, Gene?"asked Tina with a force attitude.
"Tina, no...!"said Louise, but it was too late as her older brother begins speaking.
"Ahhh! It's just not fair!"said Gene, shocking his sisters as he wasn't usually the kind to go from calm to anger in a few seconds.
"Whoa?! What's going on?"questions Louise out of concern for Gene.
"Ah, I'm just tired of the same mundane day we seem to live. I mean we get up in the morning, eat breakfast, brush your teeth, walk to school, sit through boring classes, eat lunch, more boring classes, go home, work in the restaurant, and finally we go to sleep and repeat the cycle all over again! It's just so damn boring!"said Gene, surprising his sisters as they wondered where this was coming from.
"You okay, buddy?"asked Tina out of concern.
"No, I just want some excitement in my life. I mean, I'm trying to find that right sound but I still haven't found it. Ken is also not talking to me as we couldn't agree which was better, waffles or pancakes."said Gene, referring to his imaginary albino friend Ken, who he insists is real.
"That can't be the only reason."spoke Louise, who knew her brother Gene well enough to know that this couldn't be the only thing that was causing his funk.
"Well... it's not. I mean, don't you guys ever feel like you're destined for greatness?"questions Gene, looking pass both shoulders to look at his sisters in the eyes.
"I mean, yeah..."said Tina.
"All the time, what about it?"inquired Louise, wanting to know where her brother was going with this.
"Ever since we saw that two butted goat, I've been wondering what else is out there. What hasn't been discovered yet that no one we know has seen before. I mean look at Mr Fischoeder, that guy gets to do what he wants when he wants. I don't know... I just want to discover something and brag about it...haa... but that's probably never going to happen."said Gene, before he and the others noticed that they were getting close to the restaurant.
"Well let's just help out and hopefully something magical will happen "said Tina, before she and the others headed inside of Bob's Burgers.
"Hey kids."said their mother Linda, before she noticed Gene."Oh no, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing, mother."replied Gene as he and his sisters got ready to help out with the restaurant.
"Gene's just upset because he wants some adventure."said Louise as she, Gene, antenna began wiping menus.
"Isn't working here adventure enough?"questions their father Bob, whose idea of fun was different from his children.
"No offense Dad, but I think you and Gene's idea of fun is entirely different."said Tina, deciding to give it to her father straight.
"Yeah, I mean Gene it's all about food, music, and getting attention. He's not someone satisfied working at a hot slop shop all his life."added Louise.
"Hey!"said Bob, offended on the restaurant's behalf.
"They you got a point, Bob. I mean kids want to explore and see what life has to offer them. But I don't think they're going to find it here."said Linda in her children's defense.
"Well... it's not like we can take them anywhere fun since we're poor... and we have to pay rent this month... and every month for the rest of our lives."said Bob, once again pointing out his family's financial situation.
"I just wish something unusual will happen. And that unusual thing will lead to an adventure."said Gene, and within a few seconds the belcher's heard the front door of their restaurant open.
"Welcome to Bob's Burgers, how...can...I...be...of..."said Linda, before she was cut off mid sentence by the appearance of their latest customer.
"What's wrong, Mom?"questions Tina, before she looks behind her and her mouth goes wide."Whoa!"
"What's wrong?"questions Bob, before he looks at the reason why his wife and daughter stop speaking.
And that was the person that entered the restaurant.
It was a tall man, at least seven fee in height. He was tall and was wearing ragged looking clothes, almost indicating that he was homeless. He had a strange looking necklace around his neck, and a large duffel bag in the form of a backpack on his back. His most known so feature was the long hair that was coming down his face, obscuring the top part of his face and giving him a menacing appearance.
"Hello there."spoke the man in a calm, but powerful voice.
"Um, how can I help you?"questions Bob, who was a little intimidated by the man in the restaurant.
"I'll have the Burger of the day."said the man as he pointed towards the chalkboard.
"Okay... sit down and I'll get you some water...sir."said Linda nervously as she went to go get the man some water.
"Just call me AZ."said the man as he sat down near the children, with the stool he was sitting on looking like it was disproportionate to his body.
"So... how are you so tall?"questions Louise, deciding to ask what everyone else was thinking.
"Louise!"said Linda as she gave the man a cup of water, as what her daughter asked was extremely rude.
"It's okay, I get that question all the time from children her age."said AZ, calming Linda down.
"To answer your question, I don't really know the answer."said AZ, confusing the Belcher siblings as their father came out of the kitchen with a burger.
"Here you go, the I'm a pumpernickel Burger."said Bob as he handed The tall Man up burger that was covered with pumpernickel buns.
"Thank you. I will take my food to go. I hope you take this as payment."said AZ, before he reached into his his patent pocket and pulled out what appeared to be a golden coin!
This immediately got Bob and Louise's attention as the very tall man gave Linda the coin. He then got up from his seat while drinking his water, grabbed this burger with his large left hand, and made his way out the door, with him having to bend down in order to get out as he was taller than the door.
Bob on the other hand immediately grab the coin from his wife and did it with his teeth.
"Oh my gosh... It's real!"said Bob as he pulled the coin out of his mouth.
"What?!"said his family at the same time.
"This is a real gold coin! I can't believe it! This is a real gold coin! We need to go to a pawn shop at once and sell it! This coin can make us more money than we could ever make selling burgers for the rest of the month! Linda, let's go to the jeweler or pawn shopping get this coin appraised and sold!"said Bob as he was removing his apron.
"Really, right now? During lunch hours?"questions Linda, as Bob was usually the one to insist on staying in the restaurant.
"Linda, that tall man just gave us a real solid gold coin! This hasn't been a great month and that man and this coin are the miracle we've been waiting for! We need to get cash as soon as we can, that way we can pay Mr Fischoeder the rent and pay our loan at the bank on time for once! This is maybe the greatest thing that has ever happened to me!"said Bob, as some tears of joy fell down from his face.
"Okay! The sooner we sell that coin, the sooner will be on easy Street for a little while."said Linda, who then removed her apron and went with Bob towards the front door.
"Kids, clean up a little before you go upstairs to do your homework. Your mother and I will be right back after we get some money."said Bob, who was kissing the gold coin over and over again as he headed out of the restaurant.
"And stay out of my room!"said Linda she followed her husband out the door.
"Well... let's go find that tall man."said Louise, before she stopped wiping menus.
"Why?"questions Tina, realizing that Louise was up to her little shenanigans again.
"Tina, Tina, Tina...That man literally handed mom and dad a solid gold coin, do you hear me, a coin made of a hundred percent gold! Maybe he has more! And if he has more! We can convince him to give some to us so we could finally get the stuff we've always dreamed about! I mean, who can say no to three adorable children."said Louise, who can already imagine the stuff she could buy if they could convince that man to give them more gold coins.
"But what if he is super dangerous, Louise? I mean, I don't think normal people walk around with gold coins on their body."said Tina, once again trying to convince Louise to stop heard from convincing them to walk into what can potentially be a dangerous situation.
"Let's do this!"said Gene, shocking Tina as he usually agrees with her.
"What?"said the oldest Belcher.
"Look, I've been looking for adventure and I have a feeling that man will help us achieve the adventure I have been looking for. Now let's go find them and see if he has any more coins!"said Gene, whose gut was telling him that that man would help him out of his funk.
"Yeah, let's go!"said Louise, before she and Gene began to make their way out the door.
"I really think this is a bad idea but I can't let you guys go on your own...Wait for me!"said Tina, once again caving to peer pressure and going where her siblings were going.
"Okay, what do you think he went? I mean, someone that tall can't move that fast without someone noticing him."said Louise, looking around for the tall man that was just in her family's restaurant.
"Wait? I hear something in the alleyway."said Gene, before he started heading towards the alleyway behind their house / family restaurant.
"Gene, wait up."said Louise, before she and Tina began running after their brother.
Gene meanwhile was the first to make it to the alley in sure enough that he saw AZ sitting next to the dumpster of the restaurant, eating the burger he had just purchased earlier.
"Hello there, you're the son of that man who just gave me this burger."said AZ, before he finished his burger.
"Haaa...Haaa...Oh good, you didn't go too far."said Louise as she walked up to AZ."You wouldn't happen to have another gold coin, would you?"
"Ah, I see you are one who is interested by monetary gain."said AZ with a smile.
"What?! No..."said Louise, who is trying to come up with a way to convince the tall Man to hand her some gold coins.
"We totally see that you're busy, so, we'll just be on our way."said Tina, before she grabbed the weave and pulled her back away from the tall man.
"Hehe, you are some interesting children."said AZ as he stood up from the floor.
"Thank...you..."said Tina, who was honestly intimidated by how big the man in front of her was.
"You remind me of a special group of kids that once helped me get over all my grief and sorrow."said AZ, before he walked over to the Belcher siblings and took a knee to look at them at a more eye level.
"Tell me, do you three seek adventure?"asked AZ as he looked the Belchers in the eyes.
"Yes! I want to experience something no one else has before!"said Gene, before Tina pulled him back.
"What are you suggesting?"asked Tina, well trying to figure out a way to get her and her siblings away from this man.
"Well what if I tell you I can give you that adventure."spoke the tall man.
"We're listening."said Louise with interest.
"Louise, no."sajd Tina, trying to stop for a little sister from getting them a dangerous situation... again...
"Hehe, I can assure you I will not hurt any of you. In fact I want to thank your family for not chasing me away right away just because of my appearance."said AZ, causing Tina to calm down as she felt better by his words.
"Well mom and dad always told us not to judge someone by their appearance."said Tina, still being defensive but feeling less hostile towards AZ.
"Well then, why don't I take you to a magical place where you can have that adventure you wish for... at least for a few hours before I bring you home."said AZ, confusing the three Belcher siblings.
"What do you mean?"inquired Louise, wondering what the tall man was talking about.
AZ smiled before a strange Aurablike energy began the surround his body, both frightening and fascinating the Belcher siblings in front of him.
"Woah!"said the three Belcher siblings at the same time.
"I am of being from another world where powerful creatures walk alongside humans. They are known as Pokemon. I come from a magical place where children around your age can go on great adventures with pokémon by their side. You can capture and train Pokemon for the purpose of battle, earning yourself Fame and Glory along the way. Oh, and don't worry about it sounding skeptical as I get that a lot. Pokemon love to battle as it is in their nature, so they will battle each other regardless if they're ordered to or not."said AZ, in case there were any confusions as he showed the belcher's images with a wave of a hand.
"Wow!"said Tina, Gene, and Louise at the same time as they saw these images of a beautiful world filled with creatures they had never seen before.
"I want to show you all this world as hospitality for your family's generosity. But I also don't want to separate you from your parents. So I'll make you a deal. Around this time every day, I will come here and allow you children to experience the Pokemon world a few hours a day before you are brought back home. Think of it like a video game where you can move through the world, before you inevitably have to save your process, and log off so you can go back to the real world."said AZ, trying his best to use modern lingual for the Belcher siblings to understand.
"Kid family meeting."said Louise, before she huddled up with Tina and Gene.
"So, what do you think?"questions Louise, wondering what her other two siblings were thinking.
"I don't know, it sounds too fishy to be true."said Tina, feeling skeptical about everything.
"Tina, I said I wanted an adventure and this guy is giving us an adventure. We need this. I need this."Express Gene, as he felt like they were never going to get an opportunity like this again.
"I'm in agreement with Gene on this one. This it's just like barogu, and I'm not going to pass it up. So you either get on board, cause Gene and I are going."said Louise, causing her older sister to let out a sigh.
"Fine... I will admit I'm curious."said Tina, before the Belcher siblings faced AZ again.
"We're in. So what do we have to do?"inquired Louise, wondering what they had to do.
"Just stand right there and allow me to do my work."said AZ, before a bright light enveloped the Belcher siblings.
"Wahhhhh!"said the three Belcher siblings before they were teleported away.
"I hope you enjoy the land of Galar, as I have a feeling it is the most fitting for you three."said AZ, before he sat down and waited patiently for when it was time to bring the Belcher siblings back to Earth.
Meanwhile Tina, Gene, and Louise Belcher found themselves flying through ultra space. Tina look like she was going to throw up, Gene was wondering what he was going to do when he got to the Pokemon world, and Louise was screaming like a maniac and she was having the right of her life.
Soon these three siblings will experience the world of Pokemon, by heading to the town of Postwick!
Hoped you enjoyed that chapter.
