-Shiro's House-

"This. Is. Crazy!" Akihito exclaimed as he stared at the two Kaiju turned bakugan in front of them on his desk. "Two Kaijugan, and probably the strongest out of them all!" He added.

"Kaijugan?" Shiro questioned with a raised brow.

"Kaiju Bakugan. Kaijugan. Come on, bro, get with the program." The boy told his elder sibling, spinning around in his seat.

"Oh, so there's a program now, is there?" Shiro chuckled as he patted his little brother on the head. "Alright, fine. I'll get with the program." He told him.

"Humans, such a strange species…" Gojira mused as he watched the brothers interact.

"Kinda fun to be around sometimes, though." Junior shrugged.

"How'd you guys get here, anyway?" The younger Hiroshima questioned.

"That's the peculiar part. The last thing we remember was a portal opening over Monster Island and dragging all of us into it." The King answered. "It wasn't human made, we would've been able to tell if it was." He added.

"Yeah. Then we woke up with you guys." Junior supplied.

"... Did the portal look like this?" Shiro questioned as he typed on his computer and pulled up a simulated video version of the small portals that opened up when a bakugan came through from Vestroia.

"Yeah, that's the one!" The Kaiju Prince exclaimed in recognition.

"Okay, looks like you guys went through something basically all the Bakugan have, and you picked up some of their characteristics as you sent through the portal." The older human deduced.

"Hence why you're in a Bakugan compressed energy body instead of your natural bodies." Aki interjected.

"That does clear up a few things, aside from what caused it." Gojira commented.

"That's if it wasn't a natural cause." Shiro told him. "We ourselves haven't the foggiest idea of the cause, either, assuming there even is one." He added.

"Though I can think of a couple of people who could help us." Akihito said as he spun around and started typing on his computer–and Marucho and Alice appeared on the other end seconds later. "Hey Marucho, Alice. Sorry to bother you guys, but I was hoping I could ask you something." He added, surprising Shiro.

"Hold up. You know these two personally?!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah. Sorry for not saying anything." The younger sibling replied sheepishly.

"Has something come up, Akihito?" Alice questioned.

"Yeah. It seems we've found two new Bakugan." He nodded as he picked up Junior and held him up while Shiro did the same with Gojira.

"More already?" Marucho blinked.

"Already?" Akihito parroted in confusion. "Did someone else find another?" He questioned.

"Yes. According to Shun, a boy named Magnus Fowl has found Rodan." Alice confirmed.

"And Runo mentioned a girl named Zina who found Zilla." Marucho nodded.

"Well then tell Dan that I found Gojira." Shiro chimed in.

"Huh?!" Alice and Marucho exclaimed.

"Wait, who're you?" Marucho questioned.

"This is my brother Shiro." Aki clarified, turning to his brother. "Wait, you didn't mention you ran into Dan." He noted.

"Well, we were preoccupied with these two, so it kinda slipped my mind." The older of the two shrugged.

"I see, you're the one Dan mentioned." Marucho nodded.

"Which Kaiju did you find, Aki?" Alice questioned.

"I found Junior." The younger green haired boy replied, showing them the Prince himself. "But that's not why we called." He continued.

"Yeah, we were hoping you could shed some light on something we just found out from our new friends here." Shiro nodded.

"What did you learn?" Marucho questioned, going into analyst mode.

"Apparently the Kaiju got sucked into a portal similar to the ones the Bakugan were sucked into when they came to Earth from Vestroia." Shiro explained.

"But they have no idea who or what opened the portal." Aki added.

"I'm not sure if we can figure out the cause, but there have been reports of multiple portals all over Japan." The blonde stated as he pulled up some reports. "I believe that the Kaiju are being spread out across the island, and landing with different people because of this." He continued.

"So we're 0 for 2 on info. Shit." Shiro sighed.

"Sorry, Shiro, but the best we can do is listen for anything that might give us an idea of where the rest of the Kaiju are." Marucho told him apologetically.

"It's okay, thanks anyway, guys." Aki said as they signed off.

Meanwhile, at the Bakugan Store, Alice logged off from the chat room to continue working–right as the doors opened, and a familiar pastel painted blonde bob cut flowed in the wind as a girl walked into the store.

"Katie?" The gingerette blinked. "What brings you here? And what's with the new look?" She asked, having known that the girl had quit bakugan ever since selling all of her bakugan she had left to the store.

"Oh hey, Alice, didn't know you were in today." The girl replied. "I'm here to get some new bakugan. I've decided to get back in the game and I thought a change of Bakugan roster and a new look would help streamline that process." She added. "I was also going to sell some cards." She continued, placing her card box on the desk.

"Oh, what kind of Bakugan and cards are you looking for?" Alice asked in surprise.

"Darkus." Katie stated simply.

"Um, okay." Alice blinked before she brought up the selection. "Any specific ones, or are you not feeling picky?" She offered as the girl in front of her put her hands on the counter.

"Surprise me." The girl told her.

(The next day)

In the park the following day, the tell-tale dimensional warp of the Bakugan battle field closed as Dan and Runo cheered happily while high fiving each other while a defeated Shunji and Akira fell flat on their butts.

"Aw man, not again…" Akira groaned in dismay.

"You gotta be kidding me." Shunji groaned as he threw his head up.

"Well, guys. Sorry but we totally just cleaned you out." Dan smirked, his iconic thumb-nose swipe.

"Come on, Akira, let's get out of here." Shuni sighed as he got up and started walking off, his little brother following suit.

(Later)

"Man, this is getting frustrating. At this rate, we might as well quit Bakugan for good." The younger of the two brothers complained.

"I dunno, Akira. Seems like to me we just gotta find a powerful enough Bakugan to put us on the same level as Drago or Tigrerra." Shunji pointed out.

"Say! There's an idea!" The short stack nodded. "… But where the heck are we gonna find Bakugan like that?" He added a few seconds later, scratching his head.

"Good question." The elder of the two nodded as he stroked his chin. "I mean, it's not like two really powerful talking Bakugan are just gonna fall out of the sky in front of us." He mused offhandedly.

His words must've been heard by someone because a second later, two Bakugan did indeed fall in front of them—whilst also bonking them on the head. This caused the two of them to pause and look at the new arrivals with bewildered looks on their faces.

"... I didn't expect someone to take me seriously on that." Shunji commented with a blink.

Seconds later, the orbs opened up to reveal two insectoid-like Bakugan.

One looked like it took its body design from a Mantris, but was black, green and gold, had a single visor-like red eye, a saw blade belly as well as horns, fins and a tail.

The second opened up and body-wise reminded Shunji of Cycloid, but instead of a cyclops, this Bakugan looked like a bipedal rhinoceros or dung beetle, with two drill-like arms and bug wings.

"Who are you guys?" The elder sibling wondered.

"Huh?" The beetle Bakugan huffed gruffly before looking at him. "Megalon, who's askin'?" He questioned, his voice having a Highland accent.

"And I'm this knob-end's brother, Gigan." The other Bakugan interjected, he had a similar accent.

"Oi! Who're you callin' a knob-end?" Megalon snapped.

"You, cuz ya are one." Gigan retorted, turning towards his brother.

Their names made the two brothers snap their heads to look at one another in shock. They expected some new Bakugan, but they certainly didn't expect a pair of Daikaiju!

"Score!" The two kids cheered as they high-fived each other, much to the Kaiju's confusion.

"What's got them so jolly?" The beetle questioned, getting a shrug in return.

"Humans are weird blokes." The sickle handed killer shrugged.

Meanwhile, in the school yard of the same school Akihito went to, the boy was currently having lunch with his best friend Christopher, a young brawler who, like him, was friends with Alice and Marucho.

"Whoa, so you guys actually found talking Bakugan?" Christopher gasped in surprise as he ate his lunch, despite being two years Akihito's senior, he was still surprised easily.

"Yeah, and that's not all, he's pretty special—Ain't that right, Junior?" Aki nodded as the Prince of Monsters opened up next to his brawler along with Christopher's partner, Juggernoid.

"Yep!" The Prince chirped.

"Wait, Junior? As in Gojira Junior?!" Christopher gasped in shock, nearly choking on his peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the process.

"I'm confused, is that somehow important?" Juggernoid questioned as he turned to the brunette for clarification.

"Very. Junior is from a long line of movies and is considered the Prince of all Monsters." The boy told his partner.

"Still wrapping my head around being from a line of movies…" Junior muttered. It was a fair choice of words, since it wasn't everyday that someone went to a world where they were in a movie franchise.

"Yeah, it's probably a trip for every Kaijugan involved." Aki nodded as he too continued to eat the peanut butter, bacon, banana and jelly sandwich with milk and a cookie that his mom packed him.

"What's this about a new Bakugan?" A voice questioned from in front of the bench where the kids were, across at the swings.

Standing in front of them atop the ledge of the boundary to the swing set was a girl around their age with orange/pink hair tied up in little ponytails, and was wearing a white shirt with a purple bowtie, a blue skirt, long white socks and blue shoes. She had light colored skin and purple eyes.

"N-Nene!" Akihito gasped in surprise, nearly spilling his milk and choking on it. "Hey! I didn't see you there." He said, trying to catch himself mentally as his face became flushed with embarrassment and being flustered.

As you may have guessed, the boy had a massive crush on pinkette and turned into a stuttering mess when he so much as smelled her coming.

"Hey, Aki." The girl chirped casually as she joined them on the bench. "So, about that new Bakugan…" She prompted.

"Hi!" Junior exclaimed as he hopped up to her face from Akihito's shoulder.

"That's one strange looking Bakugan. I can't even tell what attribute it is." Nene stated, looking at Junior closely.

"That's because he doesn't have one—at least as far as I know." Akihito told her, getting a grip on himself. "That's Gojira Junior." He added.

"Gojira's son?!" Nene gasped, her jaw dropping in shock. "Aw man, not fair! I wanna have a Kaiju Bakugan, too!" She whined.

"We just call them Kaijugan." The younger Hiroshima stated as he continued eating his sandwich.

"Well whatever you call them, I really want one now! That would be really cool!" The pinkette whined in dismay as she flopped into the bench, flustering Aki again due to the fact she was literally right next to him and amusing Christopher due to the fact his friend was acting so nervous.

Her plopping down caused the bench to bump a tree behind them and shake it, and as if on cue…

"Ah!" The pinkette yelped as she felt something bounce off her head, causing her to jolt upright. "What the heck?!" She demanded as she looked at Akihito in annoyance, thinking he bopped her head.

"That wasn't me, it was that!" The youngest Hiroshima child yelped defensively, pointing at the new Bakugan that had landed on the ground.

"Huh?" The girl questioned as she picked the orb up. "Well whaddya know! A free Bakugan!" She smiled. "This must be my lucky day!" She added right as the Bakugan in question popped open.

This revealed that it had an open ball form that looked rather odd, but seemed like a cross between a dragonfly and an actual dragon, with wings that had the imprint of four of them, and instead of a single stinger it had a dual pronged one. Its colors were purple, black, and green with yellow eyes.

"Where am I?" A seductive female voice questioned, reminding the kiddos of the English voice actor Courtney Lomelo.

"Uh, Japan?" Nene answered, sounding a little put off about the voice this Bakugan had. "Who are you, anyway?" She asked.

"You humans call me Megaguiris." The dragonfly Bakugan replied, looking up at the girl.

"Megaguirus?!" Akihito gasped.

"Ha! Funny, I was actually hoping to get a Kaiju for a partner just now." Nene grinned, looking at the insectoid creature.

"Seems wishes do come true." Christopher noted as Megagauris perked up.

"Really, now?" Megaguirus hummed. "Then I think joining you sounds fine. You seem smarter than you look." She added.

"Heh! You're not lying." The girl smiled smugly, before hopping up from her seat and then turned on her heels to point at Akihito. "Alright, Aki—I challenge you and your Kaijugan to a battle!" She told him, causing both the boy and his partner to freeze up and blush at this.

"Wh-what?!" He yelped. "B-But I h-haven't had a chance to get familiar with Junior's skill set yet!" He exclaimed.

"Then that's even more reason for us to battle, practical experience!" The girl smiled, bouncing on her heels in anticipation as she whipped out her field card—the whole display looking rather adorable.

"O-Okay." The green haired boy gulped as he brought out his field card.

"I'll join you guys." Christopher nodded. "As a supervisor." He amended, getting nods in return.

"Field Open!" The three called as their cards glowed and a light surrounded them.

Meanwhile, in yet another part of Wardington, there stood a flower shop and farmer market that had all kinds of plants and goods for the average person looking for those types of amenities.

Inside it was a girl around sixteen years of age. She had vibrant—almost Black Widow or Poison Ivy level—scarlet red hair that almost seemed naturally tied up in a bun in the shape of rose, olive colored skin, and green eyes. She had the early stages of a womanly figure that was starting to show, and stood at a nice height of five foot nine.

Attire wise, she had a green shirt, red pants under a pair of overalls, and green flip flops.

She was currently in the process of tending to a few plants that needed her attention while a woman who looked like an older version of her with a more obviously voluptuous figure and brown hair rather than red, was working behind the counter taking care of customers.

"Hmm, much better." The girl smiled as she finished taking care of the plants. She decided to have a look around and see what other plants needed her attention.

"Pamela, we have some customers looking for some spider plants! Can you show them the way?" The woman at the front called.

"On my way, mom!" The now named Pamela called back to her mother as she made her way to the front desk. "So, any specific variety you're in the market for?" She asked as she approached the desk.

"Not particularly." The person in front of her said as she looked at him, revealing that the guy she was talking to was Magnus. "My grandfather's been growing those in his garden for years and I'm just trying to find a type he doesn't have." He continued.

"Follow me to where we keep them. You can pick out the type that's missing from there." She told him, beckoning for him to follow. "I don't think I've seen you around here, you new to Wardington?" She questioned.

"Kind of. I live with my grandfather in his countryside estate on the island of Tsushima. We typically come here to his Wardington estate every six months or so." The boy replied as they continued walking.

"Really? Who is he? I may know him from around town." The girl questioned.

"Saito Sakai, formerly of the Japanese Imperial Navy's Kamakaze division." The redhead replied.

"A former Kamikaze bomber?" Pamela blinked. "Did he not get the chance to fulfill his duty at the time?" She questioned.

"Oh, he did." Magnus told her in reply. "But he somehow survived. Even he has no idea how he was still breathing after that." He continued, shaking his head at the decades old mystery of how his father survived a kamikaze run.

"What does he look like?" The girl asked.

"His hair is mostly gray now with the sides managing to stay black and he wears it on a traditional topknot. He's in his eighties so he's quite old, has a crooked nose from it being broken when his plane crashed on an island off the coast of who knows where, a mole on his forehead, and he also wears a pair of round tinted reading glasses." The boy explained. "He also typically wears a casual gray kimono and walks with a cane that has the Sakai dual mountain crest on it." He added.

"Oh yes, I remember him. He sometimes comes in to get Sakura honey and then stop off in the park to play shogi with Mr. Kazami." The scarlet girl nodded.

"Then you're acquainted with him." Magnus nodded—surprised that his grandfather apparently knew Shun's grandfather—as they reached the spider plants. Looking around, he saw a nice variety of them. He recognized most of them, but fortunately, he was able to spot a few that his grandfather didn't have. "Let's go with that one there." He stated, pointing at the Hawaiian variant.

"Alright. Anything else?" The girl nodded, handing him the pot.

"Your name, for one." The boy replied, holding the plant in one arm.

"Pamela, Eden." The gardener replied, shaking his hand.

"Magnus Fowl." The flier replied, right as Rodan poked his head out of his shirt pocket.

"Is this supposed to be a garden run or a social call?" The irradiated pterosaur chimed in impatiently. "We got the plant, now let's blow this popsicle stand." He added.

"Did anyone ask your opinion?" The boy retorted to his partner. "No? Then shut up, will ya?" He added.

Rodan let out an irritated sigh before he spotted something sitting on one of the garden statue decorations—specifically a statue of Inari Okami, the Kami of rice, foxes and financial wealth in Shinto tradition. It was a green colored Bakugan.

"What the…?" He muttered, getting out of the human's pocket and flying to the statue.

"What's he doing?" Pamela questioned as they followed.

"No idea." Magnus replied as they walked over to the statue and examined the orb sitting in front of it.

"Odd. I don't remember any Bakugan showing up around here." The redhead noted, picking up the Bakugan and getting a closer look at it. She thought it was Ventus because of the color, but couldn't tell for sure. There was also a bit of red in it.

Then it opened up, revealing a flower-like Bakugan that appeared to resemble a rose, but each of the petals seemed to imprints of thorns on them, and she could see mouthed vines at the bottom where its feet were, lastly the sections that were hidden by the green and red petals were orange and yellow spotted, and pulsed with light every few seconds.

"Huh? Where am I?" The Bakugan uttered in a female voice, the tone gentle yet full of surprise.

"Planet Earth." The girl replied, holding the Bakugan up.

"I'm… Not usually the small one." The Bakugan commented as she looked up at Pamela with… Whatever constituted eyes on its body.

"I'm sure. Who are you, exactly?" The redhead questioned.

"I think you humans call me Biollante." The rose Kaijugan replied, shocking Pamela.

"What the?!" She gasped.

"Huh, so there's more of you." Magnus nodded.

"What do you mean by that?" The girl questioned.

"My partner is also a Kaiju, Rodan." He explained.

"... What is going on here? Seriously, why are Kaiju appearing now, of all times?" Pamela groaned in exasperation.

"No idea. But it seems like we aren't the only ones." The boy noted as he pulled up a video where he saw a boy with green and red hair talking to a YouTube channel about his appearance of the Kaijugan and telling everyone to keep an eye out for them.

"I guess I better make myself known." The olive skinned girl mused. Then an idea hit her. "Say, what do you think about us Kaijugan people forming our own little group?" She proposed, looking at Magnus with a smirk.

"Sure, just depends on if we can find the rest before anyone else can." The boy nodded as the two went to the desk so he could pay for his plant.

Meanwhile, back in the in between space where Akihito and Nene were currently battling, they now had their gate cards set and their first Bakugan chosen.

"Bakugan Brawl!" Nene called as she hurled her Bakugan onto her own card. "El Condor, Stand!" She called as a Mayan skeletal wooden puppet Bakugan appeared, it being Ventus.

"Okay, here goes!" Aki nodded as he took his Bakugan out. "Bakugan brawl!" He called, landing on his own card. "Limulus, Stand!" He exclaimed as an Aquos Horseshoe Crab Bakugan appeared.

"Aquos Limulus enters battle at 320Gs. Ventus El Condor at 340Gs." The machines buzzed.

"Perfect opportunity! Ability Activate—!" Nene called before Aki interrupted her.

"No you don't!" The boy interrupted, his eyes changing from Amber to a cyan blue like how Shiro's did as he tossed down a card. "Water Refrain!" He added as blue pulsed out from the field and locked Nene's card down.

"Nice job!" Christopher smiled. "Water Refrain is an ability that can keep your opponent from using their ability cards for five turns." He nodded. "Clever. But what made you decide to use it?" He questioned.

"Nene always opens up with putting a Bakugan on her own card and using blow away to send her opponent's Bakugan to that card, getting an easy win." The boy explained. "Eargo, no card, no easy win." He added.

"Nice move, there." The brown haired boy nodded.

"Dang it!" Nene growled, wishing she saw this coming.

"And that's not all! Gate card set!" The boy called as he set another card. "Bakugan Brawl!" He continued, throwing the other Bakugan down. "Rattleoid, Stand!" He added as an Aquos Rattleoid appeared.

"Rattleoid enters battle at 350Gs." His Bakupod said.

"Ability Card Activate! Dive Mirage!" He called, causing his Rattlesnake Bakugan to dive as his gate card turned to water and went to El Conor's card, before it shot out of the water and snapped it in its fangs, and dragged it over to its own card. "Gate card open!" He added, causing water to swirl around them as Rattleoid relentlessly attacked El Condor.

A moment later, the skeletal Bakugan was sent back to Nene in ball form.

"I'm gonna get you for that!" Nene exclaimed, her eyes turning from their usual violet to their color opposite, green. "Gate Card set!" She added, throwing another gate card down. "Bakugan Brawl!" She added, right as her Bakugan landed on Limulus' card. "Ravenoid, stand!" She added.

"Ravenoid enters battle at 310Gs." Akihito's Bakupod said.

"Oh no, not that card!" The boy gasped in panic as it opened. "That's the Pyrus card!" He added as the two Bakugan's power levels were swapped, and Ravenoid crowed as it swooped down and bashed Limulus and sent it flying. "Dang it…" He sighed.

"Looks like she used your strategy against you." Christopher noted.

"I can tell." The green haired boy told his friend.

The two then threw down their Bakugan on the same card, and Nene grinned.

"Gate card open! Triple battle!" She called as Megagauris was sent in to help Ravenoid.

"Ventus-Darkus Megagauris enters battle at 400Gs." The machine buzzed.

"Four hundred?!" The two boys exclaimed.

"And it has two attributes?! How's that possible?" Christopher questioned.

"I have no idea!" Aki yelped as Rattleoid managed to take down Ravenoid due to it being stronger, and attempted to do the same with Megagauris by using its poisoned fangs—but only succeeded on annoying the Dragonfly Kaijugan.400Gs. No other data available." The machines buzzed.

"Wait, it has two Attributes?!" The boys gasped in shock.

Rattleoid hissed as it attacked Ravenoid with a tail swipe that took it out instantly, and then attempted to use its poison fang attack to hurt Megaguirus–only for the attack to really only annoy the giant dragonfly.

"Megaguirus power decreases 50Gs." Nene's Bakupod exclaimed.

"Huh, not that big of a deal." The pinkette shrugged. "Ability Activate! Blitz Stinger!" She called, activated the dragonfly's unique ability.

In an instant, Megaguirus blitz rushed Rattleoid, attacking it several times and ending it with a mighty sting.

"Damn it." Akihito growled. "Well, looks like it's up to you, Junior." He told his partner.

"I'll do my best!" The Prince nodded as he folded up, allowing his new partner to grab him.

"Bakugan Brawl! Junior stand!" The boy called, the Leonidas-like body of Junior popping open as he rose up with a roar.

"Aquos-Pyrus Godzilla Junior enters battle at 350 Gs." Aki's Bakupod buzzed.

"Aquos and Pyrus? There's a combo you don't see everyday." Christopher remarked.

"Let's go Megaguirus, Bakugan Brawl!" Nene called as she threw down her Kaijugan next.

"Battle Starts, calculating power levels." The machines buzzed as both kids suddenly felt their bodies feel warmer for some reason, and lighter as well.

Auras surrounded them, barely visible to the naked eye, Akihito's being blue and Nene's being green, and as these auras grew in intensity—both Junior and Megagauris' power levels began to spike.

"Power surge detected. Aquos-Pyrus Godzilla Junior power level increased to 400 Gs. Ventus-Darkus Megaguirus power level increased to 450 Gs." The machines said, right before Megagauris groaned as she slowed down while trying to dodge Junior's attacks aimed at her.

"What's going on girl?" The pinkette questioned, not liking the sudden change in events.

"Power level change! Megaguirus power level drop by 10 Gs. Poison Fang in effect." Her Bakupod buzzed.

"Wait, what?!" Nene gasped.

"I was wondering when that would kick in." Akihito smirked. "You see, I had Rattleoid leave a bit of a parting gift via Spontaneous Ability Activation." He added.

"Spontaneous Ability Activation?" Christopher questioned.

"It's a loophole to the three ability cards rule—one that allows a Bakugan to use any abilities natural to them without the use of an ability card so long that it's in the same turn!" Nene gasped in realization. "I can't believe I fell for a trick that simple!" She exclaimed.

"Megaguirus power level 400 Gs. Power level still dropping." Both of their Bakupods buzzed as the dragonfly started slowing down, being severely hampered by the poison.

"Ugh… Moving… is… hard…" She panted, fatigue setting in.

"Perfect!" Aki grinned as he raised his hand up. "Gate Card open!" He called as his gate card opened, surrounding the field in water again and cranking Junior's power up fifty Gs.

"Warning! Water Refrain negated." The machines buzzed.

"Not so fast! Ability activate!" The pinkette called. "Sonic Doom!" She added as Megagauris flew over Junior and started flapping her wings, sending a dome of sound down on him as her power level went up two hundred Gs.

Junior roared as he fell into the water, causing Akihito to grit his teeth in frustration as he pulled out his own ability card.

"Ability Activate! Atomic Slingshot!" He called, sending Junior's power level up by two hundred Gs as his partner fired a scattershot of atomic energy at the dragonfly's underbelly, causing her to cry out in pain before being sent back to Nene, much to her disbelief.

"What?! No way!" She gasped as the battlefield disappeared. The girl fell to her knees with a disappointed whine as she cradled Megagauris in her hands. "I'm sorry Meggie, we lost." She sighed.

"Don't… Worry about it." The dragonfly sighed with fatigue.

"I didn't think we'd win that." Aki blinked as Junior sat on his shoulder.

"At least I can tell dad I can fight." The Prince commented.

The boy then helped Nene up and brushed her off. "Sorry about that." He told her.

"It's okay, just don't get too comfortable! I'll beat you next time, just you watch." The girl said with a pout as she pointed her finger in the boy's face.

"Uh… Okay?" Aki nodded with a blush as the pinkette put her hands on her hips.

"But even though I lost, I'm not too mad." She shrugged before she stood on her tiptoes and kissed Akihito on the cheek—her foot popping up as she did—causing the boy to look like an amber eyed tomato and for Christopher to try and stifle a laugh as steam popped out of the boy's collar. "After all, I still had fun." She grinned with a two eye smile and slightly rosy cheeks, hands held cutely behind her back.

"I… uh…" Akihito stammered, trying to find his voice. Before he could try saying anything, Nene skipped off.

"Oh man, that was great." Christopher grinned.

"Shut up, Chris…" The green haired boy grumbled, causing his friend to laugh in response.

Meanwhile, back with Katie, she was exiting the Bakugan store and was now making her way through the park, with Space Godzilla on her shoulder.

"Now that I have allies who can aid me in battle, all we need to do is draw out this Masquerade fellow." The Kaiju stated, his partner walking along the path as he spoke.

"Oh don't worry, we won't find him. He'll find us." The girl told her partner.

"You know, it's never a good idea to speak the devil's name." A voice said, having a slight echo to it.

Turning, the two saw Masquerade standing by a lightpost, and he had Ghidorah on his right shoulder with Hydranoid on his left.

"I was wondering when you'd show up." Katie stated.

"You seem to know me, but I can say I recognize you." The blonde stated. "But that Bakugan on your shoulder. Him I recognize." He added, looking at Space Godzilla.

"Space Godzilla." Ni snarled.

"So." Ichi nodded.

"We meet again." San added.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the three headed freak show." The galactic monster scoffed.

"I sense tension between you two." The blonde Darkus Brawler noted.

"Well, you can't exactly have two apex predators be in the same room together and not expect some conflict." SG replied. "It's just not natural." He added.

"That and he reminds us too much of Godzilla for our liking." Ni snapped.

"And he's an ass. He actually thinks he's better than us!" San huffed.

"Tell me, Ghidora, in comparison to me, who here has lost more times to my brother between us?" The space monster questioned. "No answer? Didn't think so." He added with a smug smirk.

"Personal rivalries aside." Masquerade interjected. "I think we'd be much better off if we worked together." He continued as he hopped down in front of Katie. "So how about it? You do a few favors for me, and in return, I'll be willing to grant you any wish that you desire." He added, holding out a hand with a doom card in his palm. "All you have to do is name it." He concluded.

"Funny enough, I was actually planning on signing up for you." Katie chuckled as she took the Doom Card. "So, what's first?" She questioned.

"There's some old… Associates of mine that I need to deal with, and I was hoping you'd do it for me." He told her.

"Alright, gimme a list and it's as good as done." The girl nodded. "But in return I want you to promise me one thing." She continued.

"Of course, just name it." The blonde nodded.

"I want a chance at Shun Kazami." Katie told him, clenching her fists. "I want to take revenge on him for his role in the death of my partner." She growled.

Masquerade raised an eyebrow at this statement before he started chuckling, and then laughing. "You know? I like your ambition, girl." He smirked. "Alright. You got yourself a deal. Take care of these pests for me, and I'll personally help you get your revenge on Shun, no strings attached." He added. "Whaddya say?" He asked.

"Deal." Katie nodded in reply.

"Perfect. Never got your name." Masquerade stated.

"It's Katie. Katie Lowery." The girl replied as the two shook hands.

"Well then, Katie, let's see what you're made of." The No. 1 Brawler said.

"Oh, I think you'll like my results." The blonde girl smirked before she walked off to carry out her first task.

Meanwhile, at the site of a large nuclear power plant in the Janjira region, alarms suddenly started to sound alarms to indicate a breach or meltdown that was imminent.

The people in the surrounding city immediately panicked and started heading for the evacuation routes—only for the structure to collapse seconds later, sending dust everywhere and causing a sonic boom that shattered every window within its vicinity.

What everyone missed as they fled for safety, however, was the giant silhouette of a creature in the dust. Something didn't seem right, and no one had an answer as to what it was.

Dragon Emperor0: That's right people. This story is set during the time of the Godzilla 2014 opening sequence, meaning that the Janjira incident will cause ripples that will have knock-on consequences for the story going forward. This is basically our attempt at rectifying the—in hindsight—very haphazard and poorly executed integration of the Monsterverse to the original story. So, hopefully this will prove better.

ThermalsniperN7: Yeah, and hopefully the way this ended will give you an inkling of how we intend to handle things here. We even saw more of the side characters get some Daikaiju, with Nene getting Megaguirus and our very Poison Ivy based OC getting Biollante.

Dragon Emperor0: And at long last it seems that Shunji and Akira may finally have a chance to become something more than just absolute jokes like in the original series. Seriously, in episode 25 they only lasted as long as they did against Dan and Runo because Nene was there. We really need to remedy that situation.

ThermalsniperN7: And now they finally have their shot through Megalon and Gigan. Hopefully they can make it count this time around.

Dragon Emperor0: Two Kaiju Bakugan we decided to add a bit more personality to by basing them off of Godfrey and Terry from Assassin's Creed 3. Which was my idea. Hopefully it'll add some good comedy. Now, what else… Oh yeah, seems little Akihito is head over heels in love with Nene, and Katie has officially joined the dark side. Ehehehe heheheh, cool! [note my sarcasm here]

ThermalsniperN7: *Cricket chirping* … Okay, on that note, see you guys next time.
