Part 3- Frost

Thor groaned in pain as Pack used his power to help with the MASSIVE HEADACHE the Viking Rusher had gotten, as well as the bruise showing now with his helmet off.

Pack: *wincing* Yeesh, definitely a nasty one.

Thor: *dazed* I'm gonna get that LOON.

Grizzly: *calm* Just take it easy.

Tua was still wincing seeing the large bruise on the right side of Thor forehead.

Pack: Well, your not gonna be doing any work for the next week with this bruise. Pretty sure you got a concussion.

Thor just moaned but agreed as Tua looked around.

Tua: Gotta be someone here-OH!

With that he ran off for a moment, before coming back with a doctor who was with the construction crew.

Tua:-So he's got a nasty bruise as a result.

The doctor couldn't help but wince seeing the large bruise as he went down with Grizzly and Pack to give the doctor space.

Grizzly: I don't think we should keep him here in Minnesota and around the construction. Hey Pack, is Beast on?

Pack: *nods* Yeah, he's at his team's stadium. Was planning on this year's big Turkey game in a few months. It's my team against his, so it outta bring in huge bucks given it's a rivalry game too.

Tua: That's a good idea. But, let's tell Beast we're coming over first.

Meanwhile, Ford Field...

Beast hummed as he wrote another letter in the large amounts he had written. He saw his watch beeping, seeing the name,

Beast: *concern* Pack? *opens the screen* Pack, everything okay?

Pack (Screen): Yeah uh no. See, Tua is visiting our division to learn about being a leader since he's captain of his football team this year. We went to see Thor at the site and-Thor's-out cold. Ladder hit him right on his head hard and he's got a nasty bruise.

Beast winced, knowing full that it will be hurting for the next week.

Pack (screen): So, mind if we bring him here to re-accumulate his mind? He's out of it.

Beast: Sure thing. Down in my office so you can set him on the couch here.

Pack (screen): *smiles* Thanks Beast. See you in a few.

With that they both hung up..and Beast CRINGED.

Beast: *cringing* Ohhhh, just the description sounds bad.

.

.

Thor was out as Tua carried him out of the portal onto Ford Field with Pack and Grizzly.

Grizzly: Thanks Tua for carrying him.

Tua: No problem, figured I could give him a break and wait on walking-

?: *very concern* OHHH THAT BRUISE.

All three turned to see Beast, a bit pale as he starred at the large bruise.

Beast: *very concern* Okay so much worse than the description. You said he was hit by a ladder?

Tua: Yeah, one of them broke loose from the ropes and smacked him. I called RZ and he put him on IR for the week.

Beast: *very concern* I DON'T BLAME HIM. *motions them* Come on inside, got some headache medication that will defiantly help.

.

.

Thor moaned as Grizzly placed the ice-pack on his head, the pain in his head subsiding from the headache medication.

Beast: Okay, he should wake up in an hour. Just let him rest for now.

Tua: Got it.

Beast gave a warm smiled as Pack placed the blanket over Thor.

Pack: He needs it. The whole thing about the new stadium has been on his mind lately.

Tua: Yeah, I heard the former stadium kept collapsing. Even to the point that it actually assisted with the Shard being taken.

Beast nervously chuckled as Grizzly rubbed his arms and Pack sighed, with the Lion Rusher going to the fridge.

Beast: He, actually came here so-

Grizzly: HE. WAS. TICKED.

Pack: Never seen such anger form the Rusher of the Viking over infrastructure.

Beast nodded, bring over some glass bottles and tossing them to Grizzly and Pack.

Beast: Got some Vernors while I was out with the coach.

Grizzly: *Smirks* Sweet, Detroit's finest soft drink *takes a drink*.

Tua: *interested* Soft drink huh?

Beast tossed a bottle to Tua who caught it.

Beast: Ginger Ale, No alcohol in so you can have it, think you'll like it.

Tua cracked it open, taking a drink and smiling at the taste.

Tua: Really good.

Beast: *chuckles and sips* And to think this bad boy is use for a holiday main course. Even for upset stomachs. Really good and helpful. *sits with them* So, *to Tua* you want to learn about leadership?

Tua: Yeah, I just became team captain on our team and I want some advice. We were about to ask Thor but-well-

All turned to see the still out cold Thor.

Pack: Accidents happen in the Rush Zone. Let's be glad it's a bruise and nothing serious.

Beast mused at that line.

Beast: Well, we find ourselves getting on that end often too.

Tua turned fast, thinking he knew what he was talking about.

Tua:-Grizzly, do-do mind if I ask Beast *goes down and whispers*.

Grizzly: *nods* Of course, we'll be fine.

Beast: *realization* Ah, you told him about Chuck.

Grizzly: Didn't need to, only what happened to you. He knew about him from his grandfather.

Now that caught Beast attention as Tua proceeded.

Tua: *To Beast* If you don't mind me asking, your team must of gone all out to help you after you recover.

Beast was quiet for a while there, but slowly-

Beast: *small smile* Oh yeah, it was a hard road to be honest. I was messed up badly and was left in a coma for three months. Waking up, recovering was a rough road especially when the season began. Travel was difficult let me tell you, and working on gaining muscle back from being out that long made it hard to climb stairs. Even walking around the stadium was a test, luckily William was there to help out the team during what I would say 'the most challenging time of our franchise'-

1972...

Beast panted as he limped through the halls, staring at the stairs.

Beast: *panting;determined* Okay, alright, I can do this.

Beast grunted as he went up one step at a time. It was going well until-

Beast: *tips;falls* WHA-

?: WHOA THERE BEAST!

Beast felt two arms around him before he could hit the floor. He looked up seeing William Clay Ford Sr., sighing in relief.

William Clay Ford Sr.: 'A' for effort. While I'm happy to see you make progress please take it easy. You almost opened a stitch there.

Beast: *sheepish chuckle* Hehe, sorry. Just-REALLY ANNOYED.

William help Beast back on his feet with the crutches.

Beast: I can't wait to be off these.

William Clay Ford Sr.: As do we, but make sure your careful.

Beast nodded with a smile-a smile that fell as guilt washed over him.

Beast: Will I-I am so sorry for scaring you all that day. I know it was not my fault but, I just couldn't wake up by myself.

William gave him a warm smile, placing a hand on his shoulder.

William Clay Ford Sr.: Beast, we're just so happy your alive. I know this past year has been rough, but it will be okay. That guy is arrest and facing judgement-all be it I wish I could get my hands on the punk. PERSONALLY, he would of made a good hood ordainment.

Beast: *chuckles;smiles* Will.

William Clay Ford Sr.: Heh, made you smile; I prefer that on you. Listen, yes our team will be going through some tough times with recent events, but as long as we have eachother we'll push through it all! HECK, I'll even wager a imperfect season will not break our strive! We'll be as strong as a engine!

Beast smile grew hearing this as he hugged Will back.

Beast: You always know what to say Will.

.

.

.

Beast took a breath, nodding. This was it, this was the big day. The season was over, second place in their division with a tie game. But right now, what mattered was he was ready.

Greg Landry: *holding Beast* Okay, ready?

Beast nodded as the quarterback removed the crutches, both his team and the Rusherz watching...He stood up and still, he opened his eyes taking a step and-

Beast: *moves his legs;joy* HAHAHA, YES! FINALLY!

Everyone cheered seeing Beast freed from the crutches.

Freefall: There we go, you should be fine now.

William Clay Ford Sr.: Now we just need to make sure THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Martha Firestone Ford: Indeed, you scared us to bits and my husband was ready to kill him-

Pillage: Well, Pete beat all you to this. He punched the guy in jail HE WAS PEEVED.

Beast chuckled nodding.

Beast: Think it's best to avoid walking outside for a while. Maybe I should just drive-

William Clay Ford Sr.: Got a car ready.

All turned to the Lion owner fast, Beast and Martha chuckling.

Beast: Of course you did. Mind if I ask what's design I'll be borrowing-

William Clay Ford Sr.: No no, THIS is for you-

Present...

Beast: *realizations* DANG IT FORGOT THE GROCERIES!

Beast jumped up at that, running over grabbing a wallet.

Beast: Was so focus on the letter's I forgot the grocery-

Tua: Mind if I come and help?

Beast turned seeing Tua get up and walk over, Pack and Grizzly nodding.

Grizzly: We'll keep an eye on Thor while your out.

Beast smiled nodding.

Beast: Well, a view speaks a thousand words. Sure thing. We'll be back fast!

With that both ran off with Pack smiling.

Pack: -sighs- You got a great kid routing for you Grizz.

Grizzly smiled.

.

.

Garage...

Beast: *takes out keys* As you see, we can be focused on a task to the point we forget to take care of ourselves. A leader needs to make sure one is focused but not too focused to the point they get hurt. William was very protective of me, sometimes he can be very-detailed. Comes with being a son of a car maker, though unlike his grandfather he aims it towards more of the fiendish persona when someone gets hurt. In fact, he taught Soar and Sonar how to build and repair vehicles given they have a strong tech and mechanical skills.

Tua: That's really cool he taught the Rusherz of two different teams.

Beast: *smiles* He really cared about us when he became our teams owner. As for what he gave me, during that year the first generation of this car was going through as he deemed a "styling misadventures"..BUT he did go all out for this one-

Beast pressed a button on the key as small beeps were heard.

Beast: Even made it possible for it to be updated with the times when it came.

Tua turned, and his mouth dropped.

Tua: *awe* IS THAT A GEN ONE MUSTANG?

Beast chuckled walking up. The Mustang was in the colors of the Lions, with the inside having a black and scarlet look to it; having a roof attached to it. The side doors had the logo on it.

Beast: Beaut isn't she? Know the Ford company was going through design fiasco due to demand, so William was adamant on designing this one himself after I got hurt.

Tua: *Whistles* He sure did a very good job.

Beast nodded as he opened the door.

Beast: MIGHT be a good idea to go into Guardian armor. It'll be very awkward if you come in and people will be asking questions.

Tua: Great idea, ENTER THE RUSH ZONE!

With that and in armor, he got in and they drove off.

...

The aftermath of the first on field death was a nightmare, but Tua was glad Beast had a great owner, team and the other Rusherz with him during recovery. He had a long road but he had alot of folks cheering him on and, despite how the Lions were in recent years (Tua cringed thinking of the 2008 season)-but even with that cringe, Beast kept on going and fighting. William fitted the role of Lions owner to a T, even being a owner of the Ford company it matched. A owner of two big franchises; stressful yes but stratifying, ABSOLUTELY.

Tua's Thoughts: He was really focused on those letters, that amount was enough for a football-

Tua smiled. Beast really loved this league...he was writing thank you letters to the team his team was going up against on Thanksgiving. He must of been doing this for years.

Tua: I think the Packers will appreciate those letters on Thanksgiving.

Beast smiled at that.

Beast: *driving* Me too. I figured you would figure out what those letters were fast.

Both had smiles on their faces as they went off.

To Be continued...
