"Uh, thanks for the change of clothes." Naomi thanked nervously.

"You have fourteen hours left to stay. I suggest you get some sleep before you have to return." Dr. Kamizono advised.

As Naomi began to walk back, she heard the two talking about Asimov and the decision he made being "irrational and illogical".

Naomi went back to sleep and woke up again at 8 AM. Naomi ate slightly crunchy toast, 2 slices of it with butter and grape jelly with some water, also a lemon muffin which she wasn't too fond of the taste.

After eating, Naomi discovered a cut on her left shoulder that was horizontal and an inch long. She left the room to search for answers as she knew that cut wasn't present when she woke up at midnight. Finding her source of help, Naomi approached, scaring Mr. Yamato.

"You already got shot once and it seems you were about to get attacked again." Dr. Kamizono joked.

"Yeah, I don't know why Copen was in the mood to shoot me. Honestly, I thougt he wanted to shoot Gunvolt. Though I did get him that one time so..." Naomi droned.

"He's the one that shot you? No wonder my gun was missing yesterday." Dr. Kamizono noted.

"I guess we won't be going home for a while huh?" Naomi supposed.

"It seems that way. But we can rest tonight at home." Dr. Kamizono reminded.

"I'm not sure that I can if Copen's intent on eliminating Adepts is that intense." Naomi doubted.

"I'll make sure to have a talk with him when we get home." Dr. Kamizono notified.

"Thanks, also, I wanted to talk about this cut I found on my shoulder." Naomi added as she rolled up her left shoulder sleeve.

"That was from a new Septimal implant. It's called Sandstorm. It will allow you to control and manipulate sand." Dr. Kamizono informed.

"It sounds like the only thing that Septima can do is end erosion." Naomi yawned.

"It can create incredibly powerful sand armor." Dr. Kamizono stated.

"Eh, I've got enough defense tricks. I don't really use them anyways." Naomi commented.

"Are you enjoying Firmament?" Dr. Kamizono wondered.

"It's alright." Naomi huffed.

"Still don't like Nova?" Dr. Kamizono questioned.

"H-how did you know?" Naomi asked.

"I could't find the filing cabinet key anywhere. Then I remembered your Psychokinesis Septima and how it could manipulate matter. You didn't make the key disappear out of anger did you?" Dr. Kamizono interrogated.

"I had it in my hand but when I opened my hand, the key was gone. I think I accidentally turned it into air." Naomi explained.

"I never would've imagined in all of my career that the Psychokinesis Septima could transform matter." Dr. Kamizono rambled.

"Maybe it's based on the law of conservation of mass." Naomi theorized.

"I'll make sure to study it later. Why don't you walk around a bit. It'll help increase bloodflow and the speed of your recovery." Dr. Kamizono recommended.

Naomi got the message and decided to "shove off". Walking down the halls gave Naomi a feeling of overwhelming nostalgia. Running down the halls from Sumeragi soldiers, thinking it was a game when she was little. Racing to try and escape the building guards and get outside. Trying to keep the memories of experimentation repressed however was proving to be more difficult than expected. Shaking of the thought, Naomi continued her stroll. She wanted to call the Lyoko team but realized that working for the Sumerai meant no contacts outside the company.

'They must've went through my watch already and deleted everything personal.' Naomi thought.

She checked her watch however and looked at her texts. She was baffled when she saw the responses. They were asking what happened to Copen, why he shot her and if she was okay. She did a text that was sent to everyone.

I'm fine, got patched up. Copen thinks I've taken things too far. I'm just taking a stroll around S-FIT right now. My dad patched me up and promised he'd have a long talk with Copen when he got home. For what he did and stealing someone elses gun. I'm kinda' hopin' mom gets ahold a him but that's a fate worse than death. I should know that both ways.

The last two sentences provoked laughter from the gang. Everyone sent crying lauging emojis except for Aelita who sent a giggling with a hand over its mouth emoji. Naomi began to laugh as well. However, that quickly stopped when she recieved a text from Nova.

You can communicate with whoever you like as long as you don't tell them about this job.

Naomi was really happy about that. Although, she wouldn't be too glad about what she was soon to hear.

She went to talk with Mr. Yamato.

"T-there's something that was failed to be mentioned to you." Mr. Yamato stuttered.

"Oh really? What's that?" Naomi wondered.

"You've been microchipped by the Sumeragi. I tried to stop them by saying it was unethical practice, but threats were made. One of which being that I would be forced to work on a different floor and never see you again. The chip was placed under your collarbone." Dr. Kamizono informed.

Naomi tried to feel around her collar bone, only to feel a quarter inch think square of gauze taped instead.

"Great, and I thought I was being used before." Naomi complained.

"They'll be able to pinpoint and follow your location." Dr. Kamizono stated.

"Lola can do location masking in her sleep if she needed to." Naomi laughed.

"They locked your teleportation. So now you need either an authorization or teleportation Septima to teleport." Dr. Kamizono elucidated.

"Would be nice if I had the latter. So, did the boss tell you about the Septima tech they have from synthers?" Naomi queried.
