On a rooftop nearby from where Garou and Mirko fought
Tomura Shigaraki's pov
"Hey hey hey what the hell?!" I yell. Kurogiri finally found Garou and he was just fighting Mirko a few seconds ago. He is an impressive fighter and was about to finish her before her little sister got in the way. I expected Garou to deal with the brat, but he just walked off and said he doesn't hurt brats.
"He had her right there!" I yell again. "Why didn't he just finish her and the brat?!" I ask in anger. Garou isn't a true villain if he's afraid to take one life. "I'm so mad I don't even know what to say!" I yell. "Calm yourself Tomura." Kurogiri tries to calm me down, but I am not in the mood.
"Why should I?!" I ask. "From that one display of power, it's clear that Garou may be able to take on All Might." He answers. "If we can recruit him, he can assist Nomu for the attack at the USJ." He explains. I hate how he's right. If Garou joins us, he can be the special power up we need to beat the boss.
"Ugh, Fine." I say. "But, I'm going to finish what Garou could not." I say as I got off the roof using the fire escapes and went to get rid of Mirko and her brat of a sister. "Say goodbye you little—", "Hey.", "What?" SLAM! "AAAAGGGGHHHH!" Someone slams my head to the ground. "So the eyes that were watching me all day were yours." My attacker says, standing on top of me. I barely open my eyes to see Garou standing over me.
Garou's pov
So this is the creep that was watching me and Mirko fight huh. Looks like he has blue hair and his face needs a heavy dose of lotion. Jeez. "Wait, Hero Hunter!" Someone says as a black mist with yellow eyes popped up. "We're sorry for spying on you all day." He apologizes. "We were simply observing—", "Cut the bull shit, who are you?" I question the mist man.
"My name is Kurogiri and the man you're standing over is my master, Tomura Shigaraki." Kurogiri tells me his and the other guy's name. "Why were you watching me?" I ask. "We are simply here to observe you and see if you are worth recruiting." Kurogiri answers. "Recruit me for what?" I ask. "To join–Ow!– the League of Villains, you bastard." The man, now known as Shigiraki, answers as he got up from the ground. "Oh, you're still alive." I say.
"I was eager to recruit you, but you just made a big mistake." He says as he looks like he is about to attack. "Now calm yourself Tomura, you did just try to attack a child." Kurogiri says to calm Shigaraki down. "So Garou are you in?" Kurogiri asks. There is no hesitation in my voice when I say, "No, now buzz off.", "Why you little—", "Why don't we offer you a deal?" Kurogiri asks, stopping Shigaraki from doing something stupid. "What could you bosos possibly give to me?" I ask, not caring. "We offer you the chance to face All Might." Kurogiri says. That answer stopped me in my tracks.
"You can bring All Might to me?" I ask, now interested. "Well, we can bring you to him, to be more precise." Kurogiri corrects me. "What are you planning?" I ask. "We plan to attack the USJ, a building owned by U.A." Shigaraki says, now calm. "We know you've been searching for him for quite some time and we can bring you to him, so you can have your battle with him." Kurogiri says.
This could be much easier to find All Might and finally have a challenge. Or, this could be a trick to get me to join them. Only one way to find out. "*Sigh*… not joining you." I say. Shigaraki looks like he is going to scream before I continue, "But, I will form a temporary alliance with you." I say. "You get me to All Might and maybe I will join you." I say. "That works for us." Kurogiri says as he looks towards Shigaraki, waiting for his answer. "...Sure that works." Shigaraki says. "Excellent, we will contact you when it is time." Kurogiri said as he teleports him and Shigaraki away. Like hell I'm joining them. I'll just use them to get to All Might, then I'll teach these scumbags whose boss.
A few hours later in the Hospital
All Might's pov
It was only hours ago when we received the call from Mirko's younger sister. Apparently, from where she landed after the villain hit her was where Garou was. Mirko, being stubborn as always, attacked Garou in an attempt to avenge her friend. Now here she is, in a hospital bed with bandages all over her body.
Dammit! If I just went after her after she got launched then she wouldn't have been injured by Garou. Yet again, Garou hurts another one of my comrades. I will stop you, someday.
"Did you at least get any information about Garou from your fight?" Tsukaichi asks. "Like I said, I happened to come across him, we fought and I lost." She says in an irritated tone. "That will be enough for today, let's take our leave." Principal Nezu says. "Hey All Might, can I speak with you alone?" Mirko asks. I am confused, but I nod. We wait for Nezu and Tsukaichi to leave before Mirko speaks.
"Something else happened at the end of the fight." Mirko says. "What happened?" I ask. "At the end of the fight, Miki got in front of me to try and stop Garou." Mirko says. "Garou could have done anything to her, he could have hit her, slapped her, or worse, killed her." Mirko says, putting me at the edge of my seat. "But, he did none of those and just left." Mirko finishes. Why did he leave her? "Why did he do that?" I ask. "I asked him and he simply said that he doesn't hurt kids." Mirko answers, shocking me.
"I thought he was just a regular cruel villain, but after the fight I think there is something more to him." She admits. This is shocking. In all my years as a hero, I've never heard of a villain with honor. "I didn't want to tell Nezu because he would just sweep it under the rug." Mirko admits.
It's true. Out of us all, Nezu has the biggest ego than anyone I've met. But back to the new information. If this is true, then maybe just maybe, Garou could be reformed.
"I'll keep this a secret, Mirko." I say. "Thanks, now to get some sleep." She says as she lays down on the bed. I left and met back up with Nezu and Tsukaichi. I don't say anything about the new information because I already need to know something else. I need to speak with Young Midoriya.
At UA at the end of school
Izuku Midoriya's pov
After classes ended, All Might requested for me to go to his office immediately. It must be urgent. I finally arrive at All Might's office and am greeted by a nervous All Might.
"Is something wrong All Might?" I ask. "Young Midoriya, now I need you to answer me honestly, okay?" He asks. "Sure, what is it?" I ask again. "Did you put notes of my weakness in the journal you lost?" All Might asks. "Um…yeah." I answer, unsure of why he is asking.
"Oh god." All Might says, putting his face in his hands. "All Might, is something wrong?" I ask in concern. "You recently saw the news about Hawks and Best Jeanist getting attacked by the Hero Hunter, right?" All Might asks. "Yes." I answer. "Well, Hawks reported that Garou has a journal that has all of our strengths and weaknesses." All Might says to me.
Now it dawns on me. Garou has my journal?! "All Might, I'm so sorry I wasn't careful and now Garou knows about your weakness!" I say, apologizing. "It's not your fault, Young Midoriya." All Might tries to reassure me. "You couldn't have known what would happen, but now this makes Garou even more dangerous." He says.
"What are you going to do?" I ask, worried for him. "I'll still try to find Garou, but he is very hard to find these days." All Might says. "Anyway, thank you for being honest, now go ahead and head home." He tells me. "Remember, you've got that trip coming up tomorrow." He reminds me. "Oh, right!" I yell. "Bye All Might." I say goodbye to him. I'm now heading home, but I have this itch in my gut. Is it my fault that Garou is able to beat the heroes?
At the League of Villains bar
Tomura Shigaraki's pov
"So, were you able to recruit Garou?" Master asks me. "Sort of." I answer. "What do you mean, sort of?" Master asks. "Garou agreed to a temporary alliance if we bring him to All Might." Kurogiri answers.
"I see." Master says. "Anything else regarding this alliance?" Master asks. "He said that if we hold our end of the deal, then he will join us." Kurogiri answers. "Well, we better not disappoint." Master amuses .
"Is something wrong, Tomura?" Master asks. "Grrr…It's Garou, he pisses me off." I answer. "Oh? And why is that?" He asks. "He just beat Mirko up and could've killed her right there, but he didn't and just left." I answer. "I don't want someone who is afraid to get their hands dirty in my league." I express my frustration.
"Now Tomura, I understand that it's frustrating for someone to finish their opponent, but that is simply the first stage." He explains. "In fact, it took me years before I took a life." He says. "Just give him time and he'll be the killer you want him to be." He says.
"Fine, but if he screws up the mission tomorrow, I'm going to kill him." I say. Hopefully the attack tomorrow will go well. And Garou will finally kill someone.
The next day in an alleyway
Garou's pov
"Where the hell are they?" I ask myself. I arrived at the location the League was supposed to pick me up, but they haven't shown. Finally, Kurogiri opens a portal and says, "Apologies for the delay, but we're now ready to begin.", "Just keep your end of the bargain." I say, walking through the portal.
Upon exiting the portal, all the villains that are in some kind of warehouse look at me. Almost all of them are shocked to see me here. "It's the Hero Hunter.", "I didn't think Garou was gonna be here.", "Heh, the heroes stand no chance now." All the villains mumble. They seem to see me as their savior of sorts. Oh how wrong they are.
A few minutes later, Shigaraki walks up to a podium and begins speaking, "My brothers and sisters. My friends." Shigaraki begins his speech. "I have gathered you all here to attack All Might and the future generation of heroes, which lay defenseless, ours to slaughter." He says, with a smirk. "The heroes think that this planet belongs to them. WHO'S WORLD IS THIS?!" He asks them, screaming. "OUR WORLD,OUR WORLD,OUR WORLD!" The crowd starts to chant.
Then some massive monster walks on the stage next to Shigaraki. "This is Nomu, our key to killing All Might." He says. Not gonna lie, he looks tough. "But, we also brought the Hero Hunter, Garou, to help us battle the heroes." He announces my name and every villain starts to cheer for me. They won't be cheering me for long.
"Now, let us begin." Shigaraki says. "Kurogiri." Shigaraki says as Kurogiri opens a portal and all the villains begin going through the portal. Time to face All Might. I walk into the portal last.
