Garrus' thoughts and feelings regarding Commander John Shepard were easy to understand and explain: He respected and admired the human Spectre and would follow him into hell in a heartbeat. His feelings regarding his crewmate and friend, Lieutenant Jane Shepard, however, weren't as clear cut. She'd taken up residence in his head and wouldn't leave. Parallel AU, Part 3 in progress.

What would happen if Jack was a little different? How would events play out for her, what effects would such a minor change have? Pseudo-SI, it basically disappears after the first few chapters. There is definitely trigger-worthy events in this story, just think on Jack's backstory. The M rating is well deserved to say the least.

Space, the last frontier between humanity and sky, we broke that frontier and now we face a galaxy completely unknown to us, with its secrets and horrors waiting to be discover. The council of the citadel and all his beings under its banner will face the horrors that this galaxy presents and the gods who awoke from their sleep. Where death is the sleep of the gods.
