Catherine jumped back. "What was that?" she yelped.

Henry looked up from his book. "What do you mean?"

"That noise," she replied, silent for a moment. There was a faint rumbling noise. "There! I heard it again!"

"That noise?" Henry asked her. "That's what spooked you?"

Catherine scowled and nodded. "Did you hear it, too?"

"I did," Henry said, now with a decided smirk.

"Where is it coming from?"

"If I had to guess," Henry said, "I would say that corner."

Catherine looked at the corner where the baby was sleeping.

"Aren't you worried?"

"No. The baby snores every night."
