Moya's voice sounds like Shiva is Final Fantasy 16 for reference and when i say true form she looks like the Shive in the game as well!. For reference Morbius sounds like Ultima. I don't own the rights to the game.
The students rushed out of the school as the final bell rang signaling the end of the school day. Kira Ford and Cayleigh Oliver walked out side by side as they came to a stop next to Tommy's jeep.
"Cay!" Conner yelled.
"What's up Conner?" Cayleigh replied as she placed her bag in the front seat. Kira knew what he wanted since he spoke to her about it.
"I was wondering if you could let me..." He trailed.
"Conner its okay, i got your text. Meet me at my house in an hour and i will take you". Cay replied to him with a smile. Conner had been hinting at wanting to talk to Carter Grayson about being a leader so he text her last night to see if she could take him. "Kira do you want to come?"
"I have to get ready for a gig at Hayley's. Cay does Carter know your alive even?"
"No but i plan on breaking that ice tonight". Cayleigh answered as Tommy walked out of the school. "Man he looks like a dork in a suit".
"I heard that" He grumbled.
"You were meant to. I am taking Conner to Mariner Bay" She told her brother as they got into the jeep.
"Okay, i have to help Jase out at his dojo so if i am not back home by the time you get back that's where i will be". He told her driving down the road. Once he pulled in to his driveway they hopped out.
Cayleigh sighed as she sat on the porch waiting for Conner. After an hour he pulled up in his Mustang.
"Where's Dr.O?"
"Gone to the dojo to help Jason. I got the keys to his jeep so lets go". She told him motioning for him to get in.
The ride to Mariner Bay was quick. Conner gave her a worried glance as she rubbed her head the whole way. "Cay are you okay?"
"Yeah its nothing just a headache. Might justbe stress". She assured him. "There he is, the guy by the red truck."
"You coming?"
She shook her head. "Don't worry Conner he won't bite, tell him you know me and he will open up to you."
Conner nodded and walked over to the truck.
Carter Grayson packed his firefighter gear into the bed of his truck. "Carter Grayson?". Carter looked behind him.
"Can i help you?"
"I, Uh was wondering if you had a minute?" Conner stuttered out. Cayleigh giggled from the jeep at how nervous he was. "I knew Cayleigh".
Carter swallowed at the name. "I'm sorry but she's been gone six months"
"No i know, listen i am the red ranger from Reefside and i need your help". Conner said firmly.
Carter smiled at the young man in front of him. "What can i do for you?"
Conner smiled as he shared a quick glance at the jeep in the distance. They went and sat at a table.
Cayleigh got out of the jeep and snuck up a tree so she could spy on the two.
"So you knew Cayleigh?" Conner asked breaking the silence.
Carter looked at his hands. "Yeah i did. A part of me died the day i heard she was killed, sometimes i feel like its my own fault. Tommy and I were supposed to go to Blue Bay together to surprise her for her last game but i got help up with a fire. I guess the red ranger in me and being a firefighter knows that being on time could change the outcome. Well i was late going when we got the call she had died. Maybe if i listened to my boss and let the other group of men go to the fire then maybe she would be here".
Conner looked at the guy in front of him. "Carter when you were a red ranger did you ever have any doubts out being a leader?"
"Yeah, when we first got our morphers a little boy got hurt. When it happened i wanted to quit". Carter answered. "Why do you ask?"
"All i ever wanted to do was be a soccer player and now i am afraid its going to be a distraction or i am going to be at practice during a fight and someone will get hurt". Conner replied taking a sip of his smoothie.
"Conner the only advice that i can give you is that being a ranger is not forever. But if you let all the fighting be on your shoulders then you will get hurt. Let your team guide you and help you bear any weight. I learned that being a red ranger is not to face everything alone, its letting your team be your family. Never go into a fight alone and hear what your team has to say". Carter told him sternly. "Also trust your team."
"Thanks man." Conner said with a smile. "Get down!" Conner yelled as a tyrannodrone appeared. They crashed to the ground. "What are they doing here?"
Both men got up. Conner and Carter were surrounded. "Carter you good?"
Carter nodded. Both red rangers ran forward as battle ensued. Cayleigh jumped down from the tree as a blast was sent her way.
"Zeltrax back off!" She yelled as she landed a kick to his stomach.
"Lord Mesogog has a surprise for you". He taunted landing a punch to her shoulder.
"Sorry i decline". She grunted out as she was blasted into a tree. Conner and Carter groaned as they landed a little distance away. Drones grabbed them twisting their arms behind their backs.
"Get off!" Cayleigh yelled as they held her. She locked eyes with a very in shock Carter. She glared as Zeltrax placed his sword under her chin.
They all watched as an invisiportal appeared and a huge black figure appeared. Cayleigh began to quiver in fear. "No he was destroyed!" She cried.
"Nice to see you again young Cayleigh". His eerie voice seethed. He touched her cheek causing her to shake harder.
"Get away from her!" Conner yelled trying to get free.
"Morbius has been awakened and soon Moya will be as well". Zeltrax growled. "Surrender your powers and life or face losing them" He gestured to an image showing Tommy, Kira, Ethan and Ryan chainedto a wall.
Cayleigh swallowed hard trying to ignore Conner's pleas for her to decline.
"You have until midnight, if you decline your loved ones will be destoryed". Morbius told her as they left through a portal. The drones kicked Conner and Carter to the ground. Cayleigh gripped the ground under her fists.
"Cayleigh come on girl look at me". Carter pleaded cupping her face. "Come on lets get you home".
Reefside...
The guy led her inside to the lab where they met Hayley. "Are you guys alright?". She asked and not silent nods in return as Cayleigh sat on the steps.
"Hayley what happened?" Conner asked her.
"Tommy got taken on his way to see Jason. Kira and Ethan from the Cyberspace. Ryan was in Mariner Bay but as to why him i don't know that one". Hayley told him. "Cayleigh who is Morbius?"
She looked at everyone in fear. "Morbius is my sworn enemy. I guess you don't know my whole story. I know Tommy told you guys that Sensei Moya was an outcast and she was but Morbius was the reason"
"Hey tell us". Carter told her as he sat next to her.
She swallowed hard. "You guys know how Moya got to me, Moya went on a revenge spree years ago because her brother became the head Sensei in her family for ice ninja's. Morbius is her brother that was cursed into that creature by Lothor centuries ago. Moya got jealous of him and burned their home to the ground and vowed she would get revenge so she killed her whole family so her brother sealed her away in ice. You guys know how i got involved."
Conner nodded. "But why is he after you?"
"Because he knows i still have Moya's essence in me and that i can awaken her full spirit back. He will stop at nothing until i am dead and has my powers." She told him. "He vows to destroy what's left of her"
"So we free him, we destroy the curse" Carter tried.
"Its not that simple. I will do what i have to do". She told him standing up.
"Cayleigh you can't give into him, we will get the others back, we will destroy him". Conner stated trying to stay calm.
"Cay why would he take Ryan?" Hayley piped up.
"Look at him, doesn't he remind you of something?" Cayleigh pointed to the screen. "Ryan's cobra curse. Morbius is a snake, he comes from the cobra that Ryan was cursed with. His temple is the same temple where Ryan killed his. The cobra Ryan defeated was Morbius' spawn".
"How do we defeat him?"
Cayleigh looked to Carter. "I take on Moya's true form and blast him into oblivion"
"Why do i sense a but?" Conner whispered in fear.
"But it will come at a price, if i take on her true form there is no getting me back". She whispered through her tears.
"Cay what are you saying?"
She looked to Carter. "I'm saying you have to destroy both of us, Me and Moya. Moya will always be a part of me but once i summon her true spirit she will take over my body. I made a promise to myself that i would not go on a rampage. The only want to free me is to destroy me".
"No, Cayleigh no. i just found out your alive. I won't let you go". Carter yelled shaking her shoulders.
"Cay please there has to be another way".
"I'm sorry Conner but its the only way. I will not let him destroy this city. Destroy my family. This was and will be my fight". She answered walking over to him. Naya gowled as she appeared in the room holding two items.
She opened the pouch and took out two pieces of a dagger. "This is Moya's dagger. The two pieces were broken in order to free me the first time. This is her core once broken she awakens". She explained.
"Cayleigh does Tommy know all this?" Carter asked softly.
"No. Look i am not asking you i am telling you this is the only way to end him and its my choice. Carter you made the choice to risk your life to go to the moon with the other reds to save earth with my brother. Tommy risked his life everday to make sure i could grow up normal."
She spoke as she turned to Conner. "Conner you are the perfect leader for this team. I see so much of alot of the red rangers i know in you. Now its time for you to be a leader and let me go" She hugged him tight. "Trust me i wlll do what i can to fight her".
She walked over to Hayley and took her hands. "Hayley thank you for being there for my family. Thank you for being there for Tommy the past six months.".
"Your so brave sweet girl. Please Cay do what you can to come back" Both girls hugged.
"Cay". Carter whispered. "If this goes south i will save you, i do whatever it takes".
"I know" Cayleigh kissed his forehead. Cayleigh stepped back. She took the to pieces of the dagger and joined them together. The crusted ice crumbled. She took the blue crystal core and smashed in to the floor. A bright white strike of lightning surrounded her as her screams were loud. Everyone shieided their eyes. After it stopped Cayleigh stood their dressed in her ninja garb, both eyes pearl white but black veins going down her face.
"Cayleigh?" Carter dared.
"Sorry no one by that name here". She growled as she streaked from the lab. The dagger falling to the floor.
Carter picked up the dagger. "I will save you". He handed it to Hayley. "Come on Conner we need a plan. Hayley have to located the others".
"Cayleigh still has her gem so i can still track it. It seems she is going west"
"Hayley she is leaving Reefside". Conner pointed out.
"I don't believe this. She's going to the desert north of Mariner Bay. Morbius is at the Cobra's lair" Carter concluded.
"Then that's where we go" Conner told him firmly. "We get everyone back. We do whatever it takes".
Carter nodded at the young man as they ran out of the lab. They were two men on a mission.
Mariner Bay...Cobra's Lair...
Morbius paced in front of the unconcious rangers. "Moya wlll die. I will be the leading Ice Ninja i was destined to be"
Mesogog walked next to him. "And you will help me destroy the rangers as our deal states"
"A ninja never goes back on his word". Morbius spoke facing the lizard.
