A day had passed since the guardsmen discovered the charred bodies Solstice left behind. Steve and Hiro were at the marketplace area of the city. They had left Spike and Dogmeat back at the house. Steve told Spike that they were just doing a little shopping before they left for Windhelm but the real reason for this solo outing was so that Steve could question Hiro. "What you said yesterday, was it true?" Steve asked as they walked. "You see the charm around my neck, right?" Hiro responded. "That couldn't have taken you two days." Steve said. "So you're suspicious of me now huh?" Hiro jested. "A little bit yeah, what was even your reason for helping out during Kvatch?" Steve questioned. Steve was doing a little too much questioning, Hiro was considering telling Steve everything right then and there but before he could Hiro was hit by a fireball sending him flying. Steve turned around to see who attacked Hiro. What he saw was three people around the same age as him, two boys and one girl. "Lucky us, we found him first!" Flynn said. "Now the real challenge of capturing him begins." Nick said. Steve realized that the trio were only after Hiro and that they didn't notice him. All of the civilians in the market area started to run and panic. "Citizens do not fear we are here to help!" Flynn shouted in a joking manner. "Wait, I'm sensing something." Jane said, concerned. She pointed to Steve, "There's something evil about him more evil than the thief." "Well, they're probably working together." Flynn said. Steve was starting to get annoyed, "Who are you guys?" Flynn stepped up, "We're the guys who are gonna take you in." Flynn said confidently. Steve frowned, "I really don't have time for this." All of a sudden, a sickle was sent flying towards Jane's head. "Get down!" Nick shouted at Jane as he tackled her. Hiro teleported to the sickle. "Damn, did that hurt!" Hiro shouted. Flynn turned to Hiro, "You're lucky we have to take you in alive if I had used anything more than a light fireball you would've been burnt to a crisp." Flynn warned. Hiro started to smile, "Is that so? Well, I guess Ima just have to chop off your hands. Steve, let's finish our conversation after we kill these guys." Hiro said. Steve nodded as he took out his hellblade. "Who do you guys wanna fight?" Flynn asked Jane and Nick. "I don't want to fight, but if I have to, I guess I would fight the lesser evil." Jane said. "Good, he needs to pay for trying to kill you." Nick said. "I guess that leaves me with you." Flynn said while pointing at Steve. "You think this is a game, don't you?" Steve asked. "Kinda yeah, I'm the son of the Furlong family and you're just some thieves. All of this is just a vacation away from the magic school." Flynn chuckled. "You have no idea what you've gotten yourself and your friends into." Steve warned. Flynn rolled his eyes, "So dramatic enough talking let's fight!"
