Aboard the Arrowhead, the 4 highest ranking Space Hunters had gathered, with the exception of Keldor, who was represented by Metal Alice. "So, now we've dealt with one pest, what're we gonna do to deal with our other problem?", Cuborg asked.

"To route the Power Rangers, we need merely send down a soldier of our own, then pray for success.", Archris stated. "I have already called back some of my best mercenaries from my old spacefaring campaign."

"And with the neocadmium reserves we've procured from Earth, I've begun to mass-produce the Destructoid as an army of Sentinels.", Ignoblia added. "Though it will take several weeks for them to be completed."

"But until then, my master has devised a scheme to deal with the Rangers.", Metal Alice said.

"And where would Keldor be?", Archris inquired. "What was so important he sent a proxy instead of appearing himself?"

"Master Keldor has a project underway to dismantle the Rangers, one that requires his personal attention.", Metal Alice said in response. "So it falls to me to introduce our latest creation." She took out one of the magically modified coin slots, and a packet of paints, with the two merging to become a creature the looked like he was mostly made of paint, even down to his bright pink beret and the ill-defined face of two red eyes and visible fangs. He also had multiple paint tubes forming his shoulders, forearms, legs and feet, and his sword resembled a paintbrush. "I give you… Sketchpest."

Cuborg was unconvinced. "How is this guy gonna help us?", he asked.

"Well, as you can see…", Sketchpest answered, as he used his paintbrush to paint over a Bacteri coin, turning it into a spider, which crawled away. "My art can make masterpieces out of nothing." He then painted a portrait of Archris on the floor, causing a second Archris to rise up and stand in front of them.

"And I constructed him using a very small sample of neocadmium.", Alice further explained. "So that if the Rangers use the attack that destroyed Mantack, then he will prevail."

"Interesting.", Archris said. "While Keldor attends to his 'project', you Sketchpest have been entrusted with the mission of destroying the Rangers."

"Ooh, a commission.", Sketchpest said eagerly, as he walked up to the teleport pad. "I embrace the challenge." He was then teleported down to Earth.

Elsewhere on the ship, Keldor removed his left shoulder pad to expose the growth device that Archris had forcibly implanted in him. After a claw descended to extract the device, a surgical laser cauterised the open wound. "Now you can't control me like your other servants, Archris.", he stated, as he pulled a tray towards him on which Mantack's hand was lying, still preserved. "And now, for the true cornerstone of my plan." He removed the armour from his regular hand, as the surgical laser fired once more.

Down on Earth, at the zoo-house, Grandma Rose was annoyed. "Something wrong, Mrs. B?", Lenny asked.

"It's my neighbour, Keith Sparrow.", Rose answered. "He's once again tearing our fence off because apparently, since he lives on the street, everything on it is his land."

"Uh, he's been like that for the whole time he's lived here.", Johnny pointed out. "Three decades, and he treats this place like his own personal kingdom."

"And the sad part is, he seemed pretty nice at first.", Luke pointed out. "And then I innocently told him we were starting up a small petting zoo, and he started going out of his way to harass us."

"He thinks being part of the neighbourhood council makes him the ultimate authority.", Grandma Rose fumed. "Well I've had it. And I'm sure there are others who've also had it."

"The high school for one.", Luke pointed out. "They took exception to him sticking up security cameras on their property with no permit."

Marina then stepped forward. "Can we help? I mean, none of us have lived here long enough to get a handle on his guy…"

"No, that's fine.", Johnny assured her. "You and the others can go see a movie." He presented her with a sheet of paper. "I've got these tickets that are going to expire soon, so it shouldn't cost you much."

Marina took the tickets and went over to the other three. "So, are there any movies on at the local cinema you guys want to see? The new Hydra Worm flick maybe?"

"Nah, those got stale after movie 3.", Trunks answered her.

"Maybe that Kung-Fugitive movie that just got rereleased.", Tora suggested. GreenGirl on the Ranger network suggested it because she and her girlfriend love them."

"Sounds good.", Lenny stated. "Kung-Fugitive it is."

A while later, Sketchpest teleported down into the middle of town. "So this is Earth.", he commented. "Time to make it prettier." He drew his sword and used it to paint a new face over a passing civilian, which left the man with a mask stuck to his face. "And that's just the first stage of my masterpiece." He then went and painted a large statue of a golden Buddha in the middle of the street, causing cars to crash into it and explode. "Hopefully, I can invite the Rangers to my gallery soon."

Talking of the Rangers, 4 of them were coming out of the movies with some disappointment. "Did that really need to be longer than 70 minutes?", Lenny asked. "The love story felt tacked on."

"Not to mention the lack of chemistry.", Trunks nodded. "That lead seemed way too robotic to be in movies. Or anything that requires acting really."

"At least the fight scenes were good.", Tora pointed out. "But yeah, other than that this was just bland. How do these movies make enough bank to get more instalments?"

"Mostly money.", Marina said in response. "And the action scenes and attractive lead make this movie one that human girls want to waste theirs on." She then saw people running from the other direction, as explosions were going off in the distance. "And something tells me that's our cue for an action scene."

"Indeed." Trunks and the others took out their Morphers.

The quartet quickly arrived to hear a voice from above them. "Ah, the connoisseurs have arrived.", Sketchpest announced. "What do you think of my hard work?"

"It's tacky and probably not safe for public consumption.", Lenny answered him. "We're closing you down, Hunter."

"Eh, everyone's a critic.", Sketchpest shrugged. "But I'm sure you'll get something from this next piece." He then went over to Tora and drew an arm on her body.

Said arm proceeded to come to life. "Whoah!", Tora stated, as the arm began to punch the head of the body. "Hey, no fair! How come I can't control this?"

"I'll leave you up in arms.", Sketchpest laughed as he teleported out.

"Hey, come back!", Lenny called out. He growled at the missed opportunity to defeat the monster there and then. He was then shot. "Why?"

"I'm sorry!", Tora called out as her new appendage fired the Primal Blaster. "I can't control this thing."

"Well if that's the trouble…" Trunks leapt forward, using his Primal Saber to cut at the third arm, causing it to dissolve into paint, leaving Tora unharmed. "Well it seems that whatever he paints can't stand up to being attacked."

"Much like most regular artists.", Marina commented. "We should bring Johnny and Luke in on this. That way, he can't get away again."

Back on the Arrowhead, Cuborg was unimpressed. "So we send that guy out to fight the Rangers, and he barely does anything before fleeing? How pathetic."

"Sketchpest was meant more to tire out the Rangers than overpower them." Metal Alice said in response. "And besides, your own record suggests that you cannot do much better."

Cuborg snarled at this. "What was that?"

"I'm inclined to agree with the robot.", Ignoblia spoke up. "Your own track record of late is sorely lacking compared to Keldor's, Cuborg. Perhaps we should send you down there to prove you're not pathetic."

"B-but…", Cuborg blurted out before turning to Archris. "Lord Archris. Sure you don't agree with what these two are saying?"

"I'm not sure I don't.", Archris informed him. "Frankly, your performance of late leads me to agree with these two."

Keldor chose that moment to walk back into the room. "What did I miss?", he asked. "Is everyone ganging up on Cuborg?"

"Essentially.", Metal Alice nodded. "We're all voting to send him to Earth to fight the Rangers."

"Then you can add my vote to the tally.", Keldor laughed, as he mockingly put his left arm around Cuborg, attempting to prevent a close-up look at the new appendage he had recently installed. "Bad luck, old man. But I'm sure you can take all of the Rangers and walk away."

"Don't try to be funny, Keldor.", Cuborg fumed as he walked over to the transporter. "But I have to say, I'll relish the opportunity to destroy the Rangers, even with Red's new form." He then teleported down.

Ignoblia turned to Archris. "You seemed unusually eager to send Cuborg out."

"Well it's not like he's valuable.", Archris responded. "If he gets destroyed, the only setback we'll suffer is having to deal with his new personality. Besides, I want to see the Rangers beat him up."

Down on Earth, Cuborg soon joined up with Sketchpest. "Hey, what are you doing on Earth?"

"We took a vote, and felt that since I was so willing to dismiss your talents, then I should prove that I can do better.", Cuborg sighed. He then extended one of his hands. "Allies?"

Sketchpest took a few seconds to think on this matter, before reaching out and returning the shake. "Allies."

Elsewhere, at the street where the zoo was situated, Keith Sparrow woke up to see a large crowd with signs saying things like "Kick Keith to the Kerb", "Love thy neighbour only if he deserves it" and "Say no to bullying old farts". "What do you people want?", he asked.

"I think our signs should make our intentions clear.", Grandma Rose declared as she came forward, with Johnny and Luke by her side. "We want you out of our neighbourhood, preferably in an old folks home."

"Or just a different house.", Johnny offered. "With any luck, one where you're all alone."

"Look, what's this all about?", Keith asked, confused. "Just because you personally have a few issues with me..."

"It's not just us.", Luke stated, as he indicated the crowd. "Literally everyone in the neighbourhood has some beef with you."

"You ran over my cat and never apologised.", one woman yelled out.

"The repairs you did to our house were shoddy at best.", another couple called out.

"You built a fence that goes through my driveway.", a young man added to the complaints. "How am I supposed to get my car out?"

The crowd now became even more angry, wih one of them throwing a brick at Keith's classic car. "Oh, that's it.", Keith yelled. "I am going to call the police and have you all evicted." He turned and went back into his house.

"Well that could've gone better.", Johnny whispered to Luke.

"Indeed.", Luke said in response. Just then, his phone began to ring, with the caller I/D registering as Marina. The pair immediately moved out of the crowd to answer in private. "What's up?"

"There's a new Hunter in town.", Marina answered. "I guess Mantack's death gave them a little more courage to resume their attacks. We're currently searching for him, but we could use some extra pairs of eyes."

"On our way.", Johnny nodded. Luke then ended the call, as the two brothers headed off towards the town.

But no sooner had the pair entered town, did they notice a few things were off. "Did we always have a skyscraper right there?", Luke asked.

"I'm sure we didn't.", was Johnny's answer. "And that bakery over there was a stationary place yesterday, which I know I'm sure of."

"Johnny! Luke!" The pair then saw their four friends come running. "That guy we told you about has paint-related powers.", Trunks continued. "He's been drawing fake buildings over the existing ones for the last half-hour."

"But as to why, none of us can think of anything.", Tora continued.

"Oh that's simple." Everyone turned around to see Cuborg and Sketchpest approaching them. "We wanted to leave you feeling trapped and confused so you'd be too tired to properly defend your Cubezords."

"But I don't mind things like this.", Cuborg laughed. "It's more fun if I beat you at your best than if you fall like dominoes."

"Things must not be going well for them if they're sending one of the head honchos down.", Lenny commented.

"Don't forget, Cuborg is pretty tough, even without his resurrection powers.", Marina pointed out.

"Regardless, we're gonna take both of these guys out.", Johnny declared, as he led everyone in pulling out their Morphers. "It's Morphin' Time!"

Luke went first, turning his Hunter Morpher into position. "Predator Spirits, Awaken!"

As he completed his Morph, the others tried to prepare their's. "Oh no, no unfair advantages.", Cuborg announced as he fired lasers that stopped everyone but Johnny from Morphing. "I want to face you Animen as you really are, as opposed to behind some mask."

"Primal Spirits, Awaken!", Johnny completed his transformation. "In that case, me and Luke will stop the living Picasso work." He and Luke thus ran forward, both throwing punches at Sketchpest.

"That's not beautifully artistic enough.", Sketchpest hissed as he drew a pair of boxing gloves on a spring, that launched the two back. "And now, I'll add some fire to this work." He then drew a pair of missiles that launched it into the pair as they stood up, forcibly powering them down.

"You want to face us as we are, Cuborg?", Marian declared. "Then it's time we unleashed the beast." She and the others disabled their DNA Cloaks, returning to their true forms. They then pulled out their Morphers. "But since your firmed broke the no unfair advantages rule, so will we."

Nearby, Keith Sparrow was in his car, on his way to the police station. "Hello?", he said into his speakerphone. "Yes, I'd like to call to discuss my neighbours…" He was interrupted as he saw the 4 turning into Animen. "…turning… into… monsters." Panicking, he immediately his the accelerator and zoomed off into the distance.

"Predator/Primal Spirits, Awaken!" An a flash, the six had Morphed, and proceeded to introduce themselves.

"Soaring through the skies, Eagle Ranger!"

"Terror of the Deep Seas, Shark Ranger!"

"Ruler of the Jungle, Lion Ranger!"

"Sage of the Plains, Elephant Ranger!"

"Wanderer of the Mountains, Tiger Ranger!"

"The Bestial Triumvirate, Chimera Ranger!"

"Power Rangers Wild Fury!"

"Now you're looking wonderfully vibrant.", Sketchpest announced. "Looks like I'll have to make you look more muted."

"The only thing here that'll be muted is you.", Johnny informed him, as he wiped his face with his right hand.

The Rangers then ran in to fight, with Johnny and Luke facing Cuborg. "I still owe you two for destroying me.", the cybernetic creature declared. "This is fine." He punched Luke back, before swinging his sword at Johnny.

"Primal Change: Gorilla!" Johnny changed forms and caught the sword. "I hope you remember what happened when I fought you in this form before." He pushed the sword down, before proceeding to punch Cuborg repeatedly.

"Great idea.", Luke commented as he changed forms. "Primal Change: Wolf! Reel Blaster!" He pulled out his weapon and fired it.

Nearby, the 4 Animen were fighting against Sketchpest. "It's time we take your art and lock it away.", Tora announced, as Lenny tried grappling with the monster.

"Philistines.", Sketchpest declared as he knocked Lenny down after disarming him. "It's time I used you as canvas for a greater masterpiece."

But as he brought his brush down, Lenny caught it between his legs. "Whistler, you ain't man.", he said as he and the others initiated their own form change. "Primal Mode, Unleash!" Lenny was the first to attack. "Lion-tning Slash!"

Tora was next. "Freezing Slicer!"

Then Marina. "Tidal Crash!"

Next, Trunks launched his own attack. "Rock Quaker!"

And finally, Lenny leapt in to attack again. "How repetitively droll.", Sketchpest commented, before seeing the 4 leap in to attack at once. "Hey, are you attacking all at once?"

"Primal Quartet Strike!" The 4 hit Sketchpest with their attacks in sequence, vanquishing him and causing the effects of his art to undo themselves.

"Now we need to help the others,", Marina stated.

Sure enough, in the fight with Cuborg, Luke had shifted to his Alligator form and swung his Reel Spear into Cuborg's sword. "Darn, I'm down an assistant.", the monster growled.

"Not for long.", Ignoblia said as she teleported in. "I'm going to be taking our friend into a renaissance." She then inserted the growth coin into the slot on Sketchpest's shoulder, causing him to revive as a giant.

"Now I can become bigger and better than ever.", Sketchpest announced. He then went over to a pair of twin skyscrapers. "Now let's see what I can do with some assistants." He then drew two outlines onto which he drew portraits of Bacteri multiple times, until he had an army of giant sized Bacteri.

The army of Giant Bacteri then proceeded to wreck the city. "We need to get in there.", Trunks stated as everyone held their Zords out. "Cubezords, enlarge!"

In the fight with Cuborg, after he managed to knock Luke down again, Johnny grabbed into the Hunter. "You go and help deal with the big shots.", he insisted. "I'll handle this blockhead."

"Sure thing.", Luke said as he ran up to the chaos, reverting to his Rhino form. "Cyber Cubezords, roll out!"

"Time for something stronger.", Johnny said as he summoned the Whale Morpher, using it to transform into the Whale Ranger. "Primal Evolution!"

"Ah, your fabled ancient power.", Cuborg commented as he began fighting the new powered up Johnny. "I have to say, it looks familiar. But that won't stop me from crushing you."

In the sky, the Rangers moved in to fight the giant army. "Zords, combine!" They brought together all but the Whale Zord. "Predator Megazord, ready!" The Predator Megazord then began slashing down the Bacteri one by one.

Eventually, Sketchpest was all alone. "You really think that's all I have to offer in terms of assistants?", he asked before going back to the two buildings and painting more Bacteri. "My industry is as endless as my imagination."

The first two summoned Bacteri grabbed onto the Predator, with the rest moving in to attack it. "Boy, I thought these things were annoying at normal size.", Luke grunted.

"Maybe we could use our new Genesis Ultrazord combination.", Lenny suggested.

"Only Johnny can summon him.", Marina pointed out. "And right now, it's just us."

Up on the Arrowhead, the entire battle was being replayed for everyone present. "Well, things are certainly heating up now.", Keldor commented. "The Whale Ranger and the Predator Megazord."

"Indeed.", Archris nodded. "And Cuborg actually is managing to hold his own." They watched as the Predator was dogpiled by a massive army of Bacteri.

Down on Earth, Johnny's battle with Cuborg continued. But he was distracted by the sight of the Megazord battle's outcome. "Guys!"

"You're open.", Cuborg stated as he knocked Johnny down. But Johnny used his current position to get some shots in that buffeted his foe. "Why you-!"

Johnny then pulled out the Whale Zord. "We have to get in there."

But when the Whale grew, instead of focusing on the battle at hand, it eyed Cuborg. Up in the Megazord cockpit, Marina felt a pain in her head. "Are you okay?", Tora asked.

"It's the Whale.", Marina answered. "He's sensing someone, or something. And it's making him uncontrollably angry."

Sure enough, the Whale Zord fired missiles at Cuborg, which he narrowly dodged. "Hey, this isn't fair!", Cuborg growled. "You can't just sic your Zord on a small scale combatant."

"Believe me, this isn't me doing this.", Johnny insisted.

"Whatever.", Cuborg stated as he successfully moved out of the Whale's range. "I'll let you help your friends. Things are getting too heated for me here." He then teleported out.

With that over, Johnny was able to get the Whale back under control. "Now then, let's get the others out of that mess." He Whale complied, firing missiles to blow away the Giant Bacteri army, freeing the Predator Megazord.

"Oh no, I used up all my paint making those guys!", Sketchpest panicked.

"That makes this easy then.", Johnny stated, as he reverted the Whale Morpher to its cube formation and pumped it three times. "Genesis Ultrazord, Ultimate Formation!"

"Zords, combine!" The 14 Zords reconfigured into heir new formation. "Genesis Ultrazord, ready!"

"I've never seen that before.", a Sketchpest said in astonishment. "It's so artistic, the way you configured those cubes."

"Thanks for the compliment.", Johnny said, as he combined the control weapon with his Whale and Wild Morphers, along with Luke's Hunter Morpher. "It won't save you though."

The Genesis Megazord moved forward and punched Sketchpest down, before initiating its ultimate attack. "Genesis Creation Burst!"

Sketchpest was hit by projections of 100 Zords, fatally wounding him. "I'd pay to get 100 deaths like this.", he stated. But he only got one, due to his body exploding.

"Top of the food chain!", the Rangers announced.

As Cuborg returned, Archris was intrigued by the fight he had just witnessed. "So that's the full combined power of the Cubezords.", he noted. "I look forward to surpassing it."

"I hope that battle proved that I've still got it in terms of brawn.", Cuborg panted. "Because I'm not facing that whale again."

"Rest assured, you are confirmed a powerful warrior now.", Keldor answered him. "In fact, now we need to see if you're still up to planning an operation."

"Oh don't worry.", Cuborg chuckled. "After today, I've got something in mind."

Back at the zoo house, Grandma Rose came in looking very happy. "Good news. Keith's had himself committed."

"Really?", Johnny asked. "What for?"

"He claims he saw some of the neighbours turn into monsters.", was the answer. "The police think it's a result of stress, so they've recommended he spend a few months away from the street."

As the three humans celebrated, Tora whispered to Trunks. "You think he saw us turn into our Animan forms back there?"

"Probably.", was his answer. "But we'd better avoid turning off our DNA cloaks where people can see us. To avoid another case of this."

Suddenly, Marina received a call on her Morpher. "It's from Jeremy.", she realised, as she picked up and answered it.

"Hey guys.", Jeremy said, from his location in a mountainous area. "My search hasn't proven as much of a boon as we'd probably hoped. I saw the Hunters mining the unborn Zords, probably for the material gain. But I've managed to bring something back. And I look forward to showing you what I found." With that, he ended the call before taking out 4 smaller Cubezords - one blue, one yellow, one green and one white - along with his Cube Morpher, which he opened, with the 4 cubes channeling their energies into the one blank button on his keypad, turning it orange and giving it the image of a bird."And what it means, most of all."
