Chapter 52: The Training Facility
This is really going to be difficult protecting the world from a soon-to-happen phenomenon. I know taking down Satan and Ecolo was the quality of me being a hero, but what it is we're about to face doesn't seem to be a lot easier than expected. I kinda see why training is needed. Especially when a dangerous foe is about to set foot in any dimension.
But… speaking of dangerous foe… I remembered something.
*FLASHBACK*
"You are our target, of course. You were clingin' on to it all day, so it's now our turn to cling on to what you just found first." Ecolo asked.
"Don't be surprised if we capture all the stones to someone who is very similar to you. That someone will catch you by surprise." Satan asked.
"Really? That someone? And who would that be, huh?" I asked, getting slightly irritated.
"You might need to figure that one out if you really want to know. But nevertheless, our conversation is now done. Hand over the stone." Satan said.
*PRESENT*
They brought up someone who is very similar to me… I think. I'm not sure if Satan was spewing nonsense that night or if he was telling the truth. His annoying speech was enraging Arle one time. But I wasn't sure whether or not he was honest. All I was hearing was only Arle being his fiancé.
…
But I don't know why Satan wants Arle! Arle is too young to begin with!
…
I'll question all of this later. This is a six-dimension soon-to-be fiasco we're dealing with, so I'm gonna question Satan another time.
"Hey, Kaze? You ok?" Blue asked, looking concerned about how I'm feeling at the moment.
"Oh yeah, Blue. I'm fine. I was just thinking about something."
"Oh… Ok. You looked kinda… not yourself when I was looking at you."
"Oh… S-Sorry. I just needed some time to think to myself. That's why."
"I see. Are you confident in doing this whole adventure?"
"Yeah, I am. This is a big test for me, so I'm definitely going to bring in everything I got." I said.
"That's great to hear." Blue said with a smile.
Meanwhile, all of us except for Candace and Kinsley were headed to see what this training facility looks like. We were taking Lunia's aircraft to get there faster since it's very far to reach. I'm starting to take a liking to Lunia's aircraft. Our home, of course, is missing out on the coolest stuff, but the United Kingdom is the United Kingdom so I'm not gonna bother. I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm a lucky person. Several weeks or months ago were just normal stuff in the United Kingdom and right now things are starting to be unpredictable left and right. From getting magic from Primp Town to defeating Satan and Ecolo, the first villains I defeated, to gaining friends from my country, to experiencing a futuristic land filled with lots of… futuristic stuff. I'm just so… speechless how my dreams have come true in just days.
It's really amazing how I'm getting the things that I really want.
"We're almost at the training facility, everyone. Just a reminder." Lunia said to all of us.
"So, Lunia, you said all of us are gonna be training in that facility. Are there any… coaches that are going to help us train?" Gemma asked.
"To answer that question, Miss Gemma, yes. Except, they aren't coaches. They are trainers. They help you train for battle in any way." Lunia answered.
"Oh ok. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask them to train me."
"Oh, you are gonna like them! You won't regret how they train you!" Darius said.
"Definitely! It'll give you a major impact on your repertoire of attacks!" Kris said.
"Really?! Then I can see why you wanted me there! I hope it's A1!" Gemma said, who looked very bright.
"Yeah. They are amazing when they train you. Hence the reason why I was able to get a head-start in becoming powerful myself." Scarlett said with a small smile.
"And this is going to be perfect for all of us too." Zack said. "We could do anything if we were to come there a lot more. And yes, this is coming from someone who knows a lot about technology."
"Well, Zack, yes, Zack is definitely a great resource as well!" Darius said. "If you use weapons, magic, and all other things, this is the man you need. Well… at least consider him as your last resort because the trainers are what are going to get you right. If not, then he's the guy."
"But I get the feeling though that you're trying to do all the work for me, the more I think about it now." I said, looking concerned.
"You don't need to worry about us, Kaze." Lunia said. "We are trying to make sure you get all the help you need. You are gonna be in the center of all this, so you don't need to worry about us doing everything we can."
"Yeah, we got you all the help you need." Darius said. "You just need to take advantage of it. You don't need to worry about how we know all this information and taking care of it right away."
"Well… if you guys say so." I said, seconds after giving some thought.
"Trust us. If you're confident in doing this, then so are the rest of us. We got your back, no matter what." Scarlett said.
"Ok, thank you guys."
"You'll have us to thank once we are able to stop who is in charge of some criminal organization! He ain't gonna know what's coming!" Darius said.
"Yeah, this definitely feels like a story to me. A story that is going to be one heck of a rollercoaster ride." Blue said. "But I still can't believe this is my first time actually getting involved in stopping a nefarious plan despite the stakes of doing so being very high I should say."
"Blue, we got each other." Gemma said, trying to comfort her. "We may not have a lot of history together, but I'm sure me, Kaze and the others will protect each other how big the stakes are. I care about people being safe."
"You sure are confident in protecting me, Gemma." Blue said while blushing.
"Yeah! That was always my forte! You'll have me to thank in the long run!"
"It's still crazy to think that you would be the extremely friendly type." Alexis said. "Despite having that beautiful and cute hair the eyes, how you look… I thought you would be the… um… y-you know… the sassy types."
"Oh, I know what you're talking about. Me having a rich personality and having a sassy attitude. It wasn't really who I wanted to be. Candace, of course, as you've seen her, is one of them. I just thought that… being friendly, easygoing, and passionate would help me be on the rise in making friends. But when many people suggested that I do the Royal Rally and I did it anyway, my fame was on the rise and that was when the rivalry between me and Candace became a thing."
"Huh. I guess you are that special then."
"I have been special. And it's gonna stay that way."
I have a feeling that Gemma is going to make a lot of friends with people outside the United Kingdom. She's gonna be one step closer to becoming one of the very known celebrities here in this world at a very young age.
"That other girl though… What was her name? Kinsley, right? She honestly looked like an agent in some sorts. According to her personality." Darius said.
"She might be useful working for us. It looks like she's on point with what we're going through at the current moment." Scarlett said.
"Yeah and it's still shocking how I manage to rope her into this whole mission. She might've been busy with other things." I said with a sweatdrop.
"I bet her and Zack have similarities." Darius said.
"W-We do? I haven't read much about her bio." Zack said, looking confused.
"You didn't have to, man. I'm just saying. She can adore how you handle technology around here since you a wizard in such."
"I know, but there are other things rather than just me doing what I like that interest her more. I can't read minds."
"A'ight whatever. Maybe one day I can find out what her interests are."
"That's zero percent likely. The only person with extremely high intelligence here can know about what she does." Scarlett said.
"Mom, why are you not paying attention to 'dis?! These girls are being mean!" Darius shouted.
"Mean?! That's you for crying out loud! You always be mean 24/7!" Alexis shouted.
"Oh my goodness, are you two done arguing?!" Lunia shouted, getting irritated with the two of them.
"Feisty." Kris said with a smirk.
"Look, I know you're really interested in knowing more about Kinsley, but she needs some time for herself. We mustn't randomly identify her whole origin here. It'll be rude and unnecessary to her." Lunia explained.
"But she's one of us. She's got to reveal at least something to us." Darius said.
"It's true that she's an ally, but these are stuff that she can keep to herself. We shouldn't read her mind as if it was a book. She'll have a hard time summarizing her thoughts."
I have a feeling she'll be rankled up by it too. Toying with her bio should not be the answer.
"Alright, we're prepared to land. Be ready everyone." Lunia said to all of us.
As the plane was landing right next to the training facility, we all got out of Lunia's airplane and headed straight for the training facility. When we all got inside, the inside was very futuristic-like then the other buildings we went to.
And to me, I was fascinated by what is around here. And so were Blue and Gemma.
"Alright. Kaze, Blue, Gemma… This is the training facility. It's where you get to train your current setups for battle." Lunia explained.
"Woah… this is… this is something I have never ever seen before. It feels like there's so much technology being used here, I can't explain the enjoyment here." I said while looking around.
"I can't believe the amount of cool things there are around here! My diary is going to be heavily filled with memories about this place! It'll be blissful!" Gemma said with pure joy on her face.
"Yeah, this definitely looks really cool. The features of this place look really nice. I'm kinda envious now." Blue said.
"Yup. Really awesome if you ask me." Alexis said. "From top to bottom, you can improve in anything. Just be ready for what's going on though and I guess it's safe to say that you are eligible to take part in difficult battles."
"On top of it all, it's free. And there's no restrictions, so it's your opportunity to buff up really quickly." Zack said.
"Wow, that's really vital. I don't know what to say about all this." I said, looking really surprised.
"You should. Perhaps you should say that it's a W!" Darius said.
"That's a W, no question!" Gemma said, looking joyful.
She looked too eager to say that. She really is wanting in on this mission.
"There you go! See?! That's one person that said it! Kaze?! Gemma?!" He asked with a grin.

"Y-Yeah, it's a W." We both said with a sweatdrop.
Him and Xavier are the perfect link. Maybe after this whole mission, I could lure them both to get a greeting at one another. Just a thought.
"*clears throat* A-Anyway… let's say we take a look around. Hopefully there's something that you might like as we go through the tour." Lunia said to the three of us.
"Ok."
"Sure thing."
"Lead the way!" Me, Blue and Gemma said.
*30 MINUTES LATER*
"And that's about everything so far." Lunia explained as we were just about finished with the tour.
What she was explaining along the way was the amount of people that could be in a battlefield which was a maximum of 10 people per battlefield. We forgot to ask her the amount of battlefields the training facility has so I was planning on asking her tomorrow about that. In the battlefields we had an option to fight against either other people or the human figures that were in the training facility. As long as we're not horseplaying, as Lunia quoted, we have the ability to fight against whoever. It's free. And once we are done with training for I don't know how many minutes (I never asked that), we get inside the refreshening tubes that removes all the sweat we've received from battle to make us clean. Cuts, bruises, or other injuries received, Lunia will heal them in a hurry since the refreshening tube can't wipe out blood or heal the bruises, so we have to inform Lunia. And lastly, we were told that there's a free water bottle sitting on the walls just in case we want one or rather need one because… I guess Lunia was concerned about the stamina of Darius, Alexis and Kris last time so… I guess it's Lunia orders.
I would worry a lot as well.
"This was a lot to learn, Lunia. Is it necessary to do this every day?" I asked.
"No, not everyday you have to do this. But there are some days you have to do it. It's mandatory that you get stronger in case you have to go up against a dangerous adversary."
"My recommendation for doing these types of things is that you go up against human figures." Scarlett said. "It makes the ability to get stronger much easier since fighting each other will make you walk a tightrope."
"Meaning?" Blue asked, looking confused.
"In other words, one person will have the higher advantage while the other gets substandard. It'll get complicated as we progress."
"Yeah, that doesn't sound like a good option." I said, agreeing with what Scarlett was saying.
"So, you three are all in on not fighting each other, correct?" Lunia asked.
"Yes. If I want to get to the bottom of all this, I have to fight different opponents and beat them down until they're done for." I said with confidence.
"I agree with Kaze. I will do my best to figure out who's plotting an apocalypse. Whatever it is he or she's planning, we're not allowing it to happen." Blue said, agreeing with what I said.
"I'm also in on it as well." Gemma said. "I want to take it another level and help protect the people who are soon to face an uncomfortable outcome. The world needs protection and it also requires me to do it, so I'll do everything in my power to make the impossible possible."
"And I'm sure Candace and Kinsley will bring in the courage needed for all of us, so the preparations are this close to being complete." I said.
"Yes, I'm sure they are gonna do great." Lunia said. "What matters is that no matter how tough this whole adventure is gonna be, it's essential that you put in lots and lots of effort because it's not going to be easy."
"See, the more you say stuff like that, Mom, the more I'm starting to feel like you are the voice of telling the player how to play any type of video game." Kris said.
"A-Am I? I'm only telling them that they have to be highly urgent on this."
"Well, you still sound like it. I'm just picturing it as if it was a video game."
"Unbelievable." Alexis said with a sweatdrop.
"Video games do get in your head." Scarlett said with a
sweatdrop.
"Haters." Darius whispered with a sweatdrop.
"So, do you have any questions before I let you girls off for the day?" Lunia asked the three of us.
…
…
"I honestly don't have any." I answered with a sweatdrop.
"Me too." Blue said.
"Me three." Gemma said.
"N-No questions. Ok, that's surprising."
"We've honestly learned everything we need to know about this world. Especially with all the technology that is needed here." I said.
"Well, it's my first day here so I wouldn't say that I know everything here, but I can learn more another day." Gemma said.
"Oh yeah, that's true." Blue said. "It's other areas you haven't checked out yet, but yeah, we can show another time. We have to be mentally prepared for training tomorrow."
"You ladies have plans for the rest of the day?" Darius asked.
"Yes. I had plans to read books. There isn't much to do so that's my plan." I said.
"We can go to Roller Rocket Racing again. Just to get some fun in before you call it a day." Alexis said.
"N-No, it's ok. I figured I just want some peace for today. I never had peace in a while."
"Roller Rocket Racing? What's that?" Gemma asked.
"Oh, it's very fun. It's similar to roller skating but it's really cool. I think you should try it." Darius said.
"Really? Well, if it's really fun, then it's music to my ears! I guess I'll try it."
"You are really hooked into this game. Please do not cause chaos along the way." Lunia said with a facepalm.
"We aren't! We are just getting the new girl to master the standards of that game!" Darius said.
"Ok, if you say so. Whatever you do, Gemma, please stay safe. We need you."
"I'll be fine, Miss Lunia! I'm always confident in everything I do so it should be no problem!" Gemma said.
"Alright, she is definitely confident in doing this. Blue? Scarlett? Zack? You game or nah?" Darius asked.
"No. I'm going to head back. I gotta take care of other things." Scarlett said.
"Me too. I would love to hang out again, but I have stuff on my own that I should take care of as well." Blue said.
"Same here." Zack said.
"Whatever… Guess it's time to beat Alexis again."
"Not happening. I'll figure you out in mere seconds." Alexis said with a smirk.
"Nah, that's false. We'll see. On the track. Come on, Gemma. I'll take you there." Darius said as he was walking there along with Kris, Alexis and Gemma.
"Alright. I'll see you later, Kaze and Blue!" Gemma said as she waved goodbye at us.
"Yeah, same here!" Alexis said as she did the same thing.
"See you later! I guess." I whispered with a sweatdrop.
They're too eager to do this.
"They really like having fun. I guess it can't be helped." Lunia said with a sweatdrop. "Alright, Kaze and Blue. You two may explore this dimension once more or you can head back home. Tomorrow, we'll be extra prepared, train as much as we can, and we'll be ready to go the next day."
"Got it." Me and Blue said.
We both used our telecators to head back to our homes. It's been quite some time since I've been outside and now I'm ready to head back inside.
These next two days were super important so we have to be very confident about this. The road to success is beginning in the upcoming days.
Author's Note: It was tough writing this, but I managed to get it out the way. So much information about Hyperdrive City has been used so far and it's leading to the point where I'm starting to run out of ideas. But I'm starting to fight through it however I can.
A few more chapters to go, man. Maybe two or three chapters of this and we're moving on. We're moving on from the United Kingdom arc to the Mushroom Kingdom arc and I am so pleased to finally get it out the way. It's been so many months of thinking and writing that I needed to get this over with and move on. I can't be in this arc forever. I need to advance and move on.
