Zeldris swiftly released Ruin's now broken arm before kicking him at the kneecaps. Ruin fell flat on his face. Despite being covered by his helmet, he felt the painful humiliation nonetheless. He looked back up at Zeldris, gripping his staff tight. "Stay down. Last warning." Zeldris said with a grim stare, dominating Ruin's developing panic. "You...can stay down in hell!" He roared, lunging forward. With his remaining good arm, he was going to flatten Zeldris' ribcage with his staff...or so he hoped he would do as Zeldris stopped the attack. With his finger, Zeldris had not only nullified Ruin's strength but as well broken the staff?! Zeldris raised an eyebrow, his pupils pitch black.
Ruin was horrified, with his fear only growing when he noticed Zeldris' eyes. "What...are...you?!" Ruin stammered, stepping back to make distance between the two. Zeldris, however, wasn't having any of it as he stepped forward to fill the distance back in. "Which way is Baste Prison?" He asked with a cold glare. Ruin could no longer come to even speak, simply pointing northeast with shaking fingers. "Thanks. Now get lost." He ordered, punching Ruin in the mask. He was sent flying, purposefully in the direction that he had pointed in. Zeldris. The mask completely broke into pieces, fully showing his now unconscious self as he flew in the air.
Melascula, with a black eye and a few scratches from Zeldris' unknowing attacks, finally found the tavern after a few minutes with an incredibly injured Elizabeth in her arms. She hurried inside and flew upstairs, placing Elizabeth down gently on the bed. She placed her head now her chest to make sure that Elizabeth was still breathing, giving a breath of relief as she heard Elizabeth's heart was still beating. Melascula couldn't hold back her tears anymore as she started crying at the sight. "E...Elizabeth...you...poor poor thing..." She weeped as she looked around for the first aid kit. "Me...Mela." Elizabeth muttered, hearing her friend's sobs. Melascula quickly turned, walking up to her. "Elizabeth! I'm right here! It's okay." She said softly. Elizabeth slowly opened her eyes, looking around. "Where's...Zeldris..." She said, barely able to speak. "He's okay also. He went on to Baste Prison. Everything will be alright, okay?" Melascula reassured, trying to ease Elizabeth.
Elizabeth looked over at her also injured friend, her eyes shoot open despite her extreme exhaustion. "M...Melascula, you're hurt..." She said, trying to get up to check on her. Melascula quickly moved forward, easing Elizabeth back down to a laying position. "No no no, please don't push yourself." She pleaded. "B...But you're..." Elizabeth stammered, seeing Melascula was crying. Melascula knew her tears was making Elizabeth worry so she quickly wiped them, putting on a kind smile. "Please?" She asked gently. Elizabeth, despite wanting to get up, couldn't move anymore. She laid down, resting again as Melascula then went to get the first aid kit.
The guards were going on their usual patrol around Baste Prison. 15 soldiers surrounding the area to keep watch for possible intruders with two more covering the entrance, all their attention was suddenly taken by Henry and Phillip's screams from inside.
"Everyone!"
"Prepare yourselves, Estarossa has esca..."
They were cut off by Ruin suddenly crashing through, cracking the hard stone walls. "S...Sir Ruin?!" Some exclaimed in shock, not expecting a high ranked Holy Knight to be beaten. All the knights ran over to see and examine the damage...giving Zeldris, who was following the flying fiend, the perfect opportunity to sneak into the entrance. He wasted no time with his chance to quickly retrieve his brother as he speeded through the halls.
After a few minutes of searching, he stopped as he then heard footsteps behind him. He turned to see a knight in a purple and grey suit with thorn and spike designs covering it. "Ten Commandment, I presume?" He asked with a deep calm tone. "...I'll be honest with you, I'm not in a very good mood. So if you want to keep your bones in piece, stay out of this." Zeldris warned with a pissed torn. "Hmph..." The man muttered. Zeldris suddenly felt a presence surrounding them. His eyes shot all over trying to find the source...until it suddenly sliced his back with a sword. He turned to see the culprit reveal himself as he fell to the ground. Another knight with a gray suit with a toothy smile carved on to his helmet. "Well done, Golgius." The purple and grey knight said. "My thanks. Now then, let's... GAH!" Golgius started before Zeldris surprised kicked him in the chest, knocking him back. Zeldris swiftly grabbed his sword and lunged forward at the other knight to take him down, only for them to clash with the knight's...thorn?!
The knight tried slashing Zeldris in the same spot as Golgius did but Zeldris quickly jumped back to make distance from the two. Golgius got back up, standing by his comrade in the stare off the three were having. Each of them watching each other, planning their next moves carefully...until a pair of arms grabbed the two knights from behind. "Golgius, Jude! Two against one? That's a little unfair. Two unto others as you would have them two unto you." Estarossa stated, revealing himself with his jokes making Zeldris groan. Jude and Golgius were struggling to get out of his grasp. Jude suddenly tried to strike Estarossa in the head with his thorn...only for it to break on impact. "Awww, what's the matter, Jude? Am I a thorn in your side?" Estarossa said with a smirk, bashing the two together to knock them out. They fell to the ground unconscious.
He turned to Zeldris, the smirk forming into a genuine smile. "Long time no see, brother!" He said, walking up to him...only for Zeldris to suddenly grab his left ear. "What did I say about getting yourself into trouble for your pleasure?!" Zeldris yelled. "Hey- Ow- where did you expect me to go after one or - Ah- two years on the run?!" Estarossa argued, squirming with his brother's grasp on his ear. "Anywhere but prison!" Zeldris exclaimed. As Zeldris continued to scold his brother, Golgius slowly woke up. He noticed the two were distracted enough to where he can grab Jude and escape. He quickly grabbed his friend, turning invisible once again with him in tow. He quietly moved past the two commandments and managed to get outside.
Golgius managed to get outside to see an unconscious Ruin, a now fully awake Jericho, and many confused soldiers surrounding the area. "Grr...Have the Ten Commandments really taken everyone down..?!" Golgius muttered before turning to Jericho. "Jericho!" He called out to her, catching her attention. She runs up to him, feeling a little nervous to face one of her superiors as a commandment got loose on her watch. "Sir, I can explain. He simply..." She started before stopping with Golgius raising his hand to cease her jabbers. "Save it...Give me the seal incantation orb." He ordered. She, while a little caught off guard that she was getting let off, did as she was told. She grabbed the bag in her side pocket, taking out a small purple orb. The orbs in the bag was created by mages, each containing a separate magical spell.
"If we can't defeat them...we'll simply have to trap them!" He exclaimed, throwing the orb at the prison. A purple barrier suddenly wrapped around the prison, the "Eternal Seal Spell"! "You're...sealing them inside?" Jericho asked, amazed at the sight. "No way they're getting out of there..."
"Okay, okay, I got- ow- you." Estarossa said, finally giving up on getting away Zeldris' unbearable ear tugs. Zeldris slowly let go, catching his breath a little from the earful he gave Estarossa before smiling. "Yes, it's nice to see you again, Estarossa." He said. Estarossa rubbed his ear, not able to help his own grin as the two brothers fist bumped.
"So I noticed every cell in this place was empty, what happened here?" Zeldris asked. "Once I was captured, they actually moved every prisoner out to a different place to keep every soldier focused on guarding me." Estarossa stated, chuckling to himself. "And look how that turned out." Zeldris joked, smirking. Estarossa burst into laughter before sensing the incantation from outside. "You feel that?" He asked Zeldris. "Yes...This is the top floor, correct?" Zeldris asked as he placed his head to the wall, feeling the magic wrapped around. "Yeah...you thinking what I'm thinking?" Estarossa asked in return. "Yeah...let's get out of here. You and me?" He said with a confident smile. Estarossa returned it as the two together pounded the floor below them with all their might.
The damage started from a small crack, then splitting to many.
Golgius and Jericho continued to look on at the sealed prison, feeling relieved that the two were trapped inside. "Sir Ruin and Jude, along with Lady Freesia...All defeated. The Ten Commandments are really as formidable as the rumors said..." Jericho muttered, humiliated with her own defeat at Estarossa's hand. "We have no reason to worry about these two now. Let's report back to...Huh?!"
Baste Prison was now starting to crumble before them, the seal dissolving as it couldn't keep its form. "Im...Impossible! How could they..." Jericho rambled before noticing the fleeing Golgius. "Hey, wait for me!" She cried out as she started running as well. Everyone all fled for their lives to escape the collateral, giving Zeldris and Estarossa who escaped from the exact top to get away.
Mission accomplished!
