"Dudes?"

"..."

"Hey dudes."

"..."

"Dudes wake up!"

"Huh?"

Banjo and Kazooie woke up, their faces in the sand. When they looked up they saw a cheetah with blue hair and a pair of shorts standing over them.

"Dudes, you're alive." said the cheetah.

"Who are you?" asked Banjo.

"I'm Thomas." said the cheetah "I'm a game developer."

"You mean like Microsoft?" asked Kazooie, as Banjo stood up from the ground.

"Even better." said Thomas "I'm the developer of Trophy Top Games."

"Trophy Top Games?" asked Banjo.

"That's right." answered Thomas.

"Never heard of it." said Kazooie.

"Oh but you will. Follow me and I'll take you to my penthouse to show you my current game." said Thomas "Also we'll stop at the nearby salon and give you makeover my feathered dudette. You look grotesque. Come on. Follow me."

Banjo followed Thomas into the bustling city. They stopped at the beauty salon to make Kazooie look like her former self and then they stopped at Thomas' penthouse.

"Here it is." said Thomas "Pretty spacious huh?"

"I'll say." said Banjo, looking at the scenery.

"And right here is the video game." said Thomas, running to his television "I call it the T64. What do you think?"

"What games you got on it?" asked Kazooie.

"Oh here, let me show you."

As Thomas showed Banjo and Kazooie his games Gruntilda watched from outside the window.

"So you want to play games?" said Grunty, pulling out the Nocturnis "Well let me see. Aha! Keep your eyes on the screen, before you will see a different scene. Do not run, do not hide, for away you'll be swept deep inside."

As Banjo, Kazooie and Thomas gushed over games a vortex appeared on the television screen trying to suck Banjo and Kazooie in.

"Woah!" shouted Banjo, trying to grab onto something.

"Is this part of the game?" asked Kazooie, as Banjo held a nearby the lamp stand.

"Nope." answered Thomas "This is all new to me."

Banjo held on with all his might, but he felt his grip loosening. He was immediately sucked into the tv as soon as he let go of the lamp stand.

"Yes! I've done it!" cheered Gruntilda.
