BPOV

"Hello, Ms. Swan," I heard a familiar voice and I groaned.

If there was one person I really hated in my life apart from my step brothers and step-Mom, it was this guy!

"Hey..." I said.

"Gosh! You don't seem too happy to have me here," he chuckled.

"No, it's not like that," I said, "Of course you'd be here. It's your best friend's wedding!"

"You sound so mad! This is hilarious!" he laughed.

I didn't find anything hilarious about that!

He had really made my life hell when I was young!

I was meeting him after years, and he still seemed to be the same!

An annoying asshole!

"Look... I know I was really an asshole towards you all the time, and I'm really sorry for my behavior. I'm really ashamed of some of the things I've done in past," he said.

Huh!

I wasn't expecting him to say that.

"But..." he sighed, "It's been years, and we have all grown up, so I hope we can put those 'stupidity' behind us now! I'm really sorry about everything!" He smiled.

Okay?

This was not at all what I expected him to say!

"Yeah, I think so," I said.

I guess he was right.

What was the point in holding the grudges?

"You know what?" I said, "I knew right since I was a kid that you were an asshole, but... But then when I met you years later, and got to know you a bit, I thought you were different, but no! I was so wrong!"

"Same here," he said, "I thought I was wrong about you, but... no!"

"You are wrong about me," I said, "You don't know anything about me."

"And I'm not interested in knowing anything," he said.

"That's fine with me," I snapped, "But stop calling me a gold-digger!"

"I call spade a spade," he said.

"Fuck you." I snapped.
