Author's note: I think that I'll have my OC Riku to go through the series and the only possible person Riku could possibly end up is Bulma, but if you all have another to tell me in the reviews, any are welcome.
Chapter #2: Another Boy With A Tail, Who Is This New Fellow.
In the time, we follow Goku and his friends in the journey to capture all seven Dragon Balls.
There was another, that has yet to hear or know about the legend of the Dragon Balls, he is Riku, and he is in the same line as Goku not in blood but in heritage.
During the journey of Goku and his friends, going through the desert and meeting the outlaw Yamcha.
There was another that has yet to start his journey to gain the power to protect his loved ones. He is home and doing some hunting for his small kingdom.
Riku is wearing a light purple tunic with a patch to connect the neckline in the front of the tunic, black undershirt, black pants, blue shoes and a white slash to keep it together.
Riku is prowling around, going Against the Wind and keeping an eye on his prey, a huge bear that would be able for the month.
Riku in a tree taking the wind in the face, he's waiting for the right time to strike this huge bear, but when it was the best time to take out the bear till he heard ruffling from the tall grass, to see the Cubs going to their mama, "he-he so fish, yeah I'll go on and get fish."
As he jumps about, with the bear and her cubs looking back towards him. He thought, 'All right, so How many fishes should I get, mmm, 40 nah 50, yup 50. 10 big fishes and forty small fishes.'
An hour had gone by with fishing and came home to the kingdom, to feed the subjects that stayed there. "Thank you, my prince, how can we repay you." An old man tending the food stand, Riku replied, "Don't need to do anything, just live a happy life for me." The old man said, "you too, my prince, you too."
As Riku drags two large fish back to the frying mountain to where he found two things. A tall teen boy at 181 cm with weight of 69 kg, with long black hair, a sword, a green tunic, red pants, blue shoes with a white slash, and a flying cat eyeing on a 163 cm. A 48 kg teen girl, with blue hair, in a sloppy bunny outfit.
Seeing the girl, Riku thought, 'I get it, she's pretty, so why don't you talk to her.' Jumping behind and tapped the long haired teen boy on the back shoulder.
Making the long haired teen boy leap with the yell of fear, making the girl look around with her saying, "wait, was that Yamcha?" Making said teen drop down to be behind the rubble. To see a little kid with a tail, 'wow this kid has a tail, maybe this is Goku's brother.' Yamcha thought, and in Riku's mind, 'Huh, this guy is really scared of talking to that girl.' Riku says, "let me help you." Grabbing Yamcha by the collar and the white strap, picking him up, "Hey, what are you doing?" Yelled by Yamcha and the flying cat yelled, "Take your hands off of Yamcha, you don't deserve to put your hand on him, take them off!" Riku lifts Yamcha over his head and says, "Ok, I'll lay my hands off him."
Yamcha was launched from the rubble to the air and landed onto his face skeeting in front of the blue haired bunny wearing girl with a clothed pig, "Yam-Yamcha?" And a flying cat came running to Yamcha, "Yamcha, Yamcha, are you okay, that ruff'n didn't hurt you much?" The flying cat asked.
Yamcha sat up with his hand covering his eyes blocking his view of the blue haired girl, he said, "Yeah I'm alright Puar." When he removed his hand from his face, looking up to see the blue haired girl looking at him, turning red then ran away from the girl, making her wonder what was going on.
Walking around the rubble to see Yamcha nowhere to be found, "Huh, I guess his fear overruled everything." Riku walks over to the girl and sticks out his hand, "I'm Riku, Ox Riku, and I'm 12 about two or so months." The blue haired girl smiled and said, ""'m Bulma, and I'm 16, nice to meet you." Bulma tried to shake Riku's hand, but her hand was pushed by Riku and a second of wondering till "sheik" an ax is inches away from her face, with a sigh came out of Riku, then she heard, "Oh man dad, what the hell is wrong with you?"
A large figure with a lot of facial hair, a more barbaric and menacing aura around him, "I am the Ox King and I will keep any and all from taking my treasures." Riku not flinching, Bulma being scared, hides behind Riku, looking behind him Riku says, "well hello there, why are you behind me?" With a frightened expression, Bulma yells out, "you're supposed to protect gorgeous women like me."
Riku just looks towards the Ox king and back towards Bulma, and he does this twice till he looks at the Ox King, "Oh, then Hey dad, can you stop being a menace to this girl, okay?" Bulma just looks between Riku and the Ox King, then she yells, "You're his son, you have a… a… a tail. But how can the Ox king be your dad if he doesn't have a tail?" The Ox king just chuckled at the question, feeling awkward to say anything
Riku smiled, "Well, that's easy, Mom found me in a bucket in the forest, and they raised me." Bulma heard this but couldn't say anything when a shout was heard, "Power pole extend!" A long pole appeared and flung a boy in a purple gi, with a tail, in front of Riku.
Shaving the power pole into the back holder, the tailed boy looked towards Bulma and said, "Hey, Bulma, I couldn't figure out how to get in that castle." Bulma yells in irritation, "Goku why did you have to say that!" But the Ox King heard it and started to press on Goku, "Ha, That's true that you're trying to get to my treasures by getting chummy with my son!" Ox then starts to hack and slash his ax, trying to kill Goku, but the kid keeps walking backwards and dodging.
Riku looks behind him and asked Bulma, "Hey Bulma", gaining the blue girl attention. She said, "You look like someone that a fortune-teller baba a couple of months ago, who said, I'd meet a blue-eyed and haired girl with a powerful boy to change mine and my family's lives. So what are you trying to get from the castle and do you want some new clothes with a shower?"
Bulma then got a big happy grin, 'Shower, New clothes, shower,' not really thinking of anything else, but pulled out a 2-star Dragon Ball, "Well we're trying to find the dragon balls, so I can wish for the perfect boyfriend." Riku looks at Bulma and laughs, Bulma then yells, "What is it that you're laughing at?"
Riku stopped laughing and looked seriously towards Bulma, which Bulma became frightened from the look on Riku's face, "You should wish for a strong man, after all to me, you're strong to me." After a second and rehearing what he just said made him pink and turns, and Bulma claps her hands to each other 'he thinks of me as a strong woman huh' before Riku could say anything, "Hey Bulma, where should I go to get to the hermit house?" Asked by Goku on his nimbus cloud, Bulma looked towards Goku and told him to look towards the beach where they met him first.
Ox king asked if Goku could find and get Chi-chi, while Riku, still with a brush on his face, brought Bulma to his capsule house.
Bulma followed Riku as he helped the blue girl to the bathroom, showing everything she'd need in the shower. While Bulma was washing her hair, she had a thought, 'What did Riku mean by me being strong,' so she asked, "What do you mean by me being strong Riku?"
Riku on the right wall leaning and heard the question as a sigh was heard, "Bulma, right," gaining a yes he continued, "My mother was the one to teach me the basics of fight and the true source of power, so to say it short your strength reminds me of my mother."
After saying that he went to do but before exiting his home he yells out, "I lay down some old clothes of my mothers." After getting a thanks, he left to sit under a tree and meditate.
15 minutes later,
Riku eyes flung wide open, as he sees the long haired Yamcha with the flying cat Puar are giggling perversely. Riku walked over to them and a major part of Riku's anger was on the pervert Yamcha, saying, "Hey you perv".
He gains the attention of Yamcha, puar and the one inside the capsule house, by the name of Bulma, who's getting dressed. "Yamcha you are out of here," Riku said before dragging the teenager away from the window, Bulma thought, 'Maybe… he is strong eh he's too young for me, man if he was older.'
After throwing the pervert away, Riku returns to meditation for the next four minutes, gaining a sense that someone familiar and two unfamiliar had just arrived.
Before he could head out, his capsule house door opens to show Bulma wearing blue sweatpants that clamp on her ankles, white shirt, with a Jean jacket and black shoes, catching his eye the only thing that he could do is grin, saying, "You look good."
Bulma had a smile then the words that stop the smile was 'you look nice' witch ick her off, 'Nice, Nice, That's it Nice, NOT Amazing, NOT beautiful, Not Stunning, JUST NICE,' Bulma then yells, "NICE, NICE, THAT WHAT YOU SEE WHEN YOU LOOK AT ME, JUST NICE, UGH, I'm not nice looking, I'm stunning or beautiful, YOU HEAR ME, I'M STUNNING OR BEAUTIFUL." Bulma after her yelling, she stomped to the group of the returning Goku with Chi-Chi and Master Roshi, and Riku followed.
Riku was walking behind the fuming Bulma, but then he saw his father was talking to a bald man with a long-haired goatee, and large sunglasses. Riku then caught the attention of his father, who waved him over then introduced him to the old man, "Riku, this is my Master his name is Roshi, Master Roshi, This is my adoptive son, but to me, he's my son Riku."
The Martial Arts Master bowed to the child, 'Ah A tail like Goku maybe they're related somehow.' Riku bowed, and said, "Hello Roshi, I wonder what it is that you're doing here?" Roshi explained, "I'm here to take out the fire from the fire mountain, HEY GOKU, I HAVE SOMEONE FOR YOU TO MEET."
Talking to his friends, while Chi-Chi on his nimbus cloud, when he heard Master Roshi called for him, "I'm coming Master Roshi."
Jetting off towards Roshi, with Chi-Chi on the cloud, Goku saw a kid with a tail. He was wearing a light purple tunic with a patch to connect the neckline in the front of the tunic, black undershirt, black pants, blue shoes and a white slash. Chi-Chi calls out, "Hey Daddy, Hey Big Brother, Hey old pervy." Hearing the last one Master Roshi fell in embarrass, "HEY I'M NOT OLD, I'VE AGED LIKE FINE WINE LITTLE GIRL YOU HEAR." which made Riku burst out and fell in laughter, "Ha ha ha ha ha, that's a good one, ha ha ha ha, Old Pervy, ha aha ha ha, That's a great one I ha ha think I'm ha ha ha going to ha use that Chi-Chi, ha ha ha he he he ha aha ha."
Goku stops the cloud, jumps off and lands in front of Riku and Roshi. "He he he, Goku this is Ox Riku, Riku this is Son Goku." Riku sees Goku and waves at him with a "Hello Goku" but then asks Roshi, "So what are you going to do with the fire on the mountain?" Roshi nods, "yes, yes, Just watch and maybe one day you can do the same."
Roshi climbs on top of a robbed wall, "well I guess that I don't need this," tossing his master tunic off, "widens my legs and brings my hands back then, KAMEHAMEHAME-HA!"
As Roshi flung his hands forward, he sends a blue beam of ki into the flaming mountain. Goku thought, 'Cool, I wonder if I can do it too' Riku thought, 'I wonder if I can use it to increase my punches and kicks with greater forms of damage.' Then Riku saw the aftermath but then decided not to make a fuss but had a sweat drop of what he saw.
Riku then saw a tree and decided to give it a try, same with Goku, 'Ok legs apart wide, bring the hands back and,' "Kamehameha!" Riku and Goku both blasted blue ki beams and Riku hit a tree, but Goku hit his friend's car.
After Master Roshi talked to Goku and his friends and invited Goku to learn martial arts from him, Goku and his friends left Mount frying pan. Riku went to Roshi and asked, "can I learn martial arts from you as well?" Roshi answered, "Yes, you can, but I can sense something more." Riku with raised eyebrows, Riku asked, "what if I don't want to join Turtle School right now but after the World Martial Arts Tournament. Can you point me to the best possible person to help me in preparations for the Tournament?" Roshi rubbed his chin for a second thinking on if he should really do the climb, then suggest, 'as if he would actually get up there', "Ummm, an old master of mine lives in the west. He lives in a tower."
Riku nodded, "One last thing to ask, do you train people with weight as well?" Roshi answered, "Yes, I do to 40 kilograms of a weighted turtle shell. But if you do so, make sure you work out without weights one week out of a month." Riku's last question was, "when is the World Martial Arts Tournament to happen and where?" Roshi says, "On Papaya Island, at 1200 on May 6th." Riku with a grin, "That's great, then I have plenty of time to get there and get started on my training." Riku ran off to the town.
Roshi watched as Riku ran off, as Roshi asked the Ox king, "Ox, what is Riku going to do on the way there?" Ox king just chuckled a bit, "Well he had an idea of a training method, and that is wearing heavy clothing to increase strength and speed, so he asked the blacksmith to find a way to create those weighted clothing, that was two years from now and three weeks ago he sends work that he should be here today or tomorrow."
In the town, Riku went to the blacksmith that has been closed for two years now it shows it's open. With a great grin, he enters to see his friend, "Hey Iroh, how was the travel around the world, and got any luck with the weighted clothing?"
Iroh saw the kid and gave a small smile as a greeting, "Hey Riku how are you doing, and the weighted clothing may take some time to make, so what do you need?" Riku told him what he needs, "umm, I want the weight to be of shirts, boots, and wristbands, shirts weight to be 5 and 10 kilograms to add up to 80 kilograms, wristbands start from 5 kilograms and get to 50 kilograms, boots to weight 7 kilograms to get to 70 kilograms."
Iroh nods to the request for the weights, "It'll be two weeks to get them done and be put into capsules, so you can carry the heavier weights." Iroh then nods, "but on my travels I had the ability to talk with a Martial Arts master, he gave me a jingle bell then told me that if you attached the bell to your Gi to lessen the effort of movements." Then Riku nods but thoughts of all the possibilities. Riku proceeds to buy a bell to learn his own body's effortless movements.
By the time Riku reaches the place he left Roshi. He saw the pervert still talking to his father, Riku ran to his capsule house, then grabbed a pen and a notebook. Riku went to Roshi and asked, "Roshi, I wonder if you could do something for me, and make a routine for me to do and put down the location and date for the World Tournament?" Roshi then asked with his hands behind him, "mmmm what is your level of exercise, Riku?" Riku thought of it a bit and gave an answer, "I hunt, fish, help with the 96 miles (ca. 154 km) area of milk deliveries to 250 residence in the town, which takes around 90 mins for the last two years, and did some lifts with boulders then kicking and punching on trees and some stones nearby."
Roshi thought of what was said, and believed that wasn't really enough to figure out without seeing for himself, "I think that I need to see what you can do, so I believe that we should make sure I can create a routine for the best for your body at this point in time." With the said proposal, Riku got quite the excitement about a challenge not knowing where things really came from, "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I want to become better and making my capabilities to be better to protect my friends and family that I will make." But hearing the opportunity to witness his Master to test his son, The Ox King couldn't help but say, "I'd ref the Spar." With Roshi getting ready for the spar for the test for Riku.
It became 15 minutes, when the two were right, with the first 8 minutes of the spar, Roshi had been dodging Riku seeing what he needed to see. Then the last 6 minutes was Roshi finding out how much he can take punishment with counters, punches, and kicks.
Riku on the ground with his arms and legs spread with a smile on his face, "Wow, that was great, I can't wait to learn from you, Master Roshi."
With Roshi having a smile after hearing what Riku Just said, Roshi just got done making the training routine, "Here Riku I made your training routine, and I can't teach you after the Martial Arts Tournament." Handing the notebook and pen back to Riku and grabbing the notebook and saying, "thank you" Roshi walked to his turtle shell and said, "I believe that my time is up, and I think it's about time I would come back home." With a wave, Roshi left on the shell of the turtle and Riku went to sleep.

Author's note: I believe that I did good with this one, and made Riku go on a different path than Goku. Plus I have rewatch and thought that going to Korin's tower to learn from Korin is a better way to go, in my mind it is.
