Since, "The Woman Behind A Thousand Smiles" got a good response, I am thinking about writing a new chapter for "The Big If" as well. In fact, I am thinking of writing a chapter for the following fics – "Friends For Ten Minutes", "A Fox In The Hen House", "Love Is Like A Box Of Chocolates", and "Eighteen and Jealous".
For "The Big If" I have thought of two ideas for the next follow up chapters and I want you guys to pick which one I should write next. Here are the two ideas –
Idea Number 1: Saki Kawasaki has a talk with her younger brother Taishi Kawasaki about his new spending habits. It seems like he is wasting all his money on Old Spice deodorants and breath mints. But Taishi convinces her older sister, that he is not wasting his money. In fact, he is investing his money for a good cause. He wants to be prepared and ready for the opportunity when he gets a chance to kiss Komachi or she gets a chance to kiss him, and he wants their first kiss to be an awesome experience, because he has heard that people always remember their first kiss. Or more importantly how their first kiss tasted like. But Saki isn't buying all that bullshit and is still angry at her brother. But Taishi had prepared for her older sister's wrath, so he had also bought a nice gift for her too – a bottle of perfume. And that's when Taishi Kawasaki comes up with his next plan – Saki should use that perfume and try to get Hikigaya's attention. But Saki laughs it off, saying there is no way that Hikigaya would notice such a small thing. But Taishi Kawasaki is not deterred. He gives his older sister the bottle of perfume and a couple of breath mints 'just in case'. Next day, Saki Kawasaki uses the perfume and chews a couple of breath mints, not because she wants to get Hikigaya's attention, but just because she is 'feeling like it'. Hikigaya notices her acting weird a few times and asking strange questions, so the rotten dead fish eyed loner gets right into her personal space, sniffs a couple of times and says, "Kawasaki, have you taken up drinking too? Is that why you are chewing breath mints? To cover up the smell of alcohol?" Needless to say, Kawasaki Saki is not amused. The rotten dead fish eyed bastard noticed the smell of breath mints in her mouth, but not the smell of her perfume. What a total dumbass!
Idea Number 2: Komachi Hikigaya and Taishi Kawasaki have planned a trip to the shopping mall to buy new clothes for the summer season. Their older siblings Hachiman Hikigaya and Saki Kawasaki tag along. Taishi thinks this is his perfect chance to make some progress with Komachi, because it's the summer season and that means shopping for 'swimsuits'. He really wants to see Komachi in a cute swimsuit. But Hachiman Hikigaya, the protective older brother won't let him. So he comes up with a plan and begs his older sister to keep him occupied for the time being. He even comes up with a plan – Try out a few hundred dresses and ask Hikigaya what he thinks about it, and if he doesn't come up with any helpful comments, let him know that she is not happy with him. Saki Kawasaki decides to play along, because it's just a few harmless outfits and nothing scandalous like a swimsuit. And much to her surprise Hikigaya actually has valuable input about the outfits she picks. In fact, he has too much input. You could almost say it kinda gets annoying with everything he has to say about each and every dress she picks. So, seething with rage, and definitely not thinking clearly, Saki Kawasaki decides to shut him up for good by picking a swimsuit. But whereas Komachi was going for the cute and frilly type, Saki Kawasaki was going for the 'kill them on sight' type. And so, Saki Kawasaki knocked him dead by putting on a tiny, micro bikini. And it was in her favourite colour – black. Needless to say, Hikigaya shut up real quick. In fact, from the looks of it, he might have stopped breathing altogether. Saki Kawasaki saw this as an absolute win. And even though the small piece of fabric cost way more than it should, Saki Kawasaki ended up buying it.
Well, these are the two ideas I have about the next chapter and as you can see they are completely different in tone. So please think carefully and decide which idea I should go with -
