Poke Pelago
"So where's our next trial, Double-D?" asked Eddy after he and the others left Royal Avenue and arriving back on Route 7. Edd takes out his Rotom Phone and pulls up the map.
"If we travel up north through this tunnel, we should arrive at Route 8." said Edd. "Once we go through there, we should reach a place called Lush Jungle where the next trial is being held. I wonder if that's where Captain Mallow is."
"Ooh, I hope so." said Ed, excitedly. Maxiley looks at the others, then notices that Ed was blushing.
"What's with Ed?" asked Maxiley.
"Ed likes Mallow." replied Edd. Sarah smirks upon hearing it. As they travel up Route 7, Eddy was looking at the Firium-Z in his hand.
"Hey, is that Firium-Z?" someone asked. The group looked to see a man wearing a white shirt, straw hat, a green scarf, green shorts that have a yellow stripe going down each leg, and sandals, walking over to them.
"You bet it is." said Eddy as he holds it out to the man.
"So, I take it you passed Captain Kiawe's trial?" asked the man.
"You bet your sweet bippy we did." said Ed.
"Did he give you the Charizard app for your Ride Pagers?" asked the man.
"Yes, he did." said Edd.
"Then would you like to check out the Poke Pelago?" asked the man.
"Poke Pelago?" replied Jimmy.
"What's that?" asked Sarah.
"It's a small group of islands where Pokemon you have sitting in storage can relax, have some fun, and exercise." said the man.
"Really?" asked Maxiley.
"But I haven't introduced myself yet, have I?" asked the man.
"I don't recall you having done so yet." replied Edd.
"My apologies." said the man. "My name is Mohn."
"I'm Ed." said Ed.
"My name is Edd, but with two Ds, so everyone just calls me Double-D." said Edd.
"I'm Eddy." said Eddy.
"I'm Ed's adorable little sister, Sarah." said Sarah.
"I'm Sarah's friend, Jimmy." said Jimmy.
"And I'm Maxiley." said Maxiley.
"So, tell us more about this Poke Pelago." said Edd.
"Perhaps you should see for yourself." said Mohn. "Just bring up your Charizard Ride on your Ride Pagers." Everyone does so, and five Charizards with saddles on them, come down from the sky, and land in front of the group.
"Cool." said Ed. Their Rotom Pokedex comes out of Edd's backpack, and brings up their map of Alola, where they see that a small group of islands appearing on it.
"I sent the location of Poke Pelago to your map." said Mohn. "Just show the Charizards where you all want to go, and they'll bring you there."
"Sweet!" said Eddy. Edd takes the Rotom Pokedex, and shows each Charizard, the location of Poke Pelago, who then nod in understanding. Soon, everyone was on a Charizard, ready to go. Sarah shared her Ride Charizard with Maxiley, so they sat together, blushing.
"So, what now?" asked Ed. He got his answer when the Charizards suddenly fly up into the sky and start flying towards their destination.
"This is so awesome!" said Eddy.
"Quite exhilarating!" says Edd.
"We're flying!" said Jimmy. Everyone takes the opportunity to enjoy the view. They soon arrive at an archipelago, and land on a small island that had a large beanstalk growing out of it. Everyone hops off their Charizards, and look around. They all walk over to the beanstalk and look up at it.
"Whoa." said Maxiley.
"It's so tall." said Ed.
"Is there a giant at the top of it?" asked Jimmy. They hear chuckling from behind them, making them turn around to see Mohn.
"How did you get here?" asked Sarah.
"I used my raft." said Mohn, gesturing to a large raft made of logs that has a straw hut on it.
"Must be faster than it looks." said Eddy.
"Anyway, to answer your question; no, there's no giant up there." said Mohn.
"That's a relief." said Jimmy.
"This island is called Isle Abeens." said Mohn as he walks up to the beanstalk and shakes it, making a lot of beans of various colors fall down from it.
"What are those?" asked Ed.
"Poke Beans." replied Mohn.
"What are they for?" asked Edd.
"They're usually used for a treat for your Pokemon." said Mohn. "But I can use them to develop each of the islands here to improve what they can all do." Jimmy sees a blue Poke Bean and picks it up. He then takes out his Lucario's pokeball and lets him out of it. He then holds out the Poke Bean to him.
"Would you like a treat, Lucario?" asked Jimmy. Lucario sniffs at the Poke Bean, then takes it out of Jimmy's hand, and eats it in three bites. Lucario licks his lips, and smiles in satisfaction.
"I do believe he likes it." said Edd. Ed runs over to the beanstalk and shakes it as hard as he can, making dozens of Poke Beans fall down on everyone.
"Hey, watch it, Ed!" said Eddy.
"Do be careful." said Edd.
"Sorry, guys; but I wanted to get Poke Beans for our other Pokemon." said Ed. Everyone, seeing that Ed was thinking of their Pokemon, start gathering Poke Beans. Once they've all been gathered up, they put them into their backpacks.
"This beanstalk grows Poke Beans every day, so check on it daily if you want more of them." said Mohn.
"Thank you for the advice, sir." said Edd.
"With development, and Pokemon to help out; the beanstalk can be made to produce more Poke Beans." said Mohn.
"Oh, boy." said Ed.
"Now if you'll all climb onto my raft, I'll take you to the next island." said Mohn. They all do so, and sail over to the next island. The next one was completely circle-shaped, with several trees, and a water well at the center of it.
"What's this island?" asked Edd.
"This one is called Isle Aplenny." said Mohn. "Here, you can grow berries that you can use for yourselves."
"Really?" asked Jimmy.
"Yes." said Mohn. "With development, and more Pokemon helping, you can make more places on this island for trees to grow."
"Wow." said Sarah. They all then sail over to the next island which had a large cave in it, with a large crate in front of it.
"This island is called Isle Aphun." said Mohn.
"What's this place for?" asked Eddy.
"You can send Pokemon you have in storage into that cave tunnel to explore." said Mohn. "Lots of times the Pokemon can find some valuable items."
"Valuable?" asked Eddy with interest in his voice.
"Yes" replied Mohn. "Like Nuggets, Pearls, Star Pieces, and Comet Shards."
"Comet Shards?" asked Eddy.
"Yes. Do you know each Comet Shard is worth twenty-five thousand pokedollars?" said Mohn. Eddy's eyes turned into huge dollar signs. "You can find evolution stones, and even fossils."
"Fossils?!" replied Edd, excitedly.
"Yes. In fact, in Route 8, there's a lab that can revive fossils into living Pokemon." said Mohn.
"I do recall there being a place like that in Oreburgh City back in Sinnoh." said Edd.
"With more Pokemon and development, there will be more cave tunnels to explore, and find more valuable items." said Mohn.
"We have got to catch more Pokemon so they can help find these things." said Eddy. Mohn then takes them to a crescent shaped island where there was a climbing net, a tree stump, a shorter one, and another crate.
"This is Isle Evelup. Here, your Pokemon can get in some training so they can get stronger." said Mohn.
"Cool!" said Ed.
"The Pokemon also receive healthy drinks to increase their stats." said Mohn.
"Intriguing." said Edd.
"With more development and Pokemon helping, there will be more room and obstacles for the Pokemon to train on." said Mohn.
"Wow." said Maxiley. They all then head to the next island where they find hot springs.
"And finally, we have Isle Avue." said Mohn. "This is a place where Pokemon can chill out in hot springs."
"Hot springs; nature's hot tubs." said Edd.
"I wouldn't mind a soak in one." said Sarah.
"I don't see why not." said Mohn. "That said, with Poke Beans, and more Pokemon to help, we can make more hot springs on this island.
"Now we definitely have to catch more Pokemon to help out here." said Sarah. Once they were done checking out the island, they all return to Mohn's raft.
"So, what do you think of Poke Pelago?" asked Mohn.
"It's quite the fascinating place." said Edd.
"We're going to come back often and help out with this place." said Maxiley.
"We'll also catch more Pokemon to do so." said Jimmy.
"That would be great, kids." said Mohn. Soon, everyone returns to Route 7 on their Charizards.
"I must say that the Poke Pelago seems like a fascinating place." said Edd.
"That Isle Aphun sounds like a great way to get valuable stuff." said Eddy.
"And also fossils we can resurrect!" said Edd with excitement.
"I want my Pokemon in storage to be able to play!" said Ed.
"Then maybe after your next trial, we can work on catching more Pokemon." suggested Maxiley.
"Well, what are we waiting for?!" asked Sarah as she grabs Maxiley's hand, making him blush, and starts pulling him down Route 7, with the rest of the group chasing after them. What other things will they discover in Alola as their adventure continues?
Meanwhile, on a boat, sailing on the Atlantic Ocean; Eddy's, good for nothing, brother was staggering on deck as the boat rocked back and forth on the choppy waters. Suddenly, his face turns green, and he puts his hands on his mouth as his cheeks swell. He runs to the edge of the ship, leans over it, and (a/n: We won't say what he did, but we're certain you can figure it out.)
'This better be worth this seasickness.' said Eddy's brother...before getting seasick again.
