"With the last event, Fairy Tail takes the lead with 34 points-kabo!" Mato shouted, the crowd roared excitedly, showing that Fairy Tail was clearly the fan favorite at the moment. "In second place is Cosmic Star with 24 points! Third place is Twilight Zone with 18 points, and in fourth place is White Eclipse with 22 points, fifth place is Lamia Scale with 8 points, following behind, tied for sixth place is Quatro Cerberus and Sabertooth with five points, and in last place with 4 points is Mermaid Heel-kabo!"

"Last place…" Arana said with a slight hint of disappointment.

"We dropped…" Aira said with a slight frown.

"Sorry…" Was the only thing Takeru could really say about his performance in the last event.

"She got a lucky shot on you, don't worry about it," Selene replied, attempting to comfort Takeru about his performance in the event.

"We'll get back up, don't worry. Fairy Tail can have their five minutes of fame; we all know who the real stars are anyway," Reve said with a smirk.

"Heh, nice job, Wendy!" Natsu grinned as he placed Wendy on his shoulders victoriously.

"In the lead with 34, nothing can stop us now!" Cynthia said with a large grin.

"You said it, Cynthia!" Lucy said while giving an agreeing nod.

"Second place…Not bad…" Daryan said while giving a shrug.

"You did great, Gaia-chan!" Alex said while giving a friendly smile. "Wendy's pretty strong to have taken you off guard like that."

"I could've done better," Gaia huffed, crossing her arms after.

"We're second overall, ahead of almost everyone else. Though winning the battle will put us in first, tied with Fariy Tail, granted they don't win their fight," Yakuza replied.

"You whippersnappers will be fine…" Karma said while turning to the guild members.

"Third place…not too bad…" Rylo said while nodding. "Not a bad run, Alexander."

"I think I did pretty well for my first appearance in the games…" Alexander said with a nod. "The look on Gaia's face when I redirected that Wendy's roar at her…priceless, heh."

"OH MY GOSH IS THAT HIM!?" A female shouted, her voice directed towards the Twilight Zone section of the area; her voices attracted multiple fangirls that all surrounded and smothered Rylo.

"HE'S THE ONE WHO TIED WITH JURA!" Another girl shouted.

"…Looks like you have fans…" Flynn said with a chuckle.

"HELP!" Rylo cried out, drowning amongst the sea of girls as the other members just watched. Aside from Evanee; the stone dragon slayer reared her fist back, and threw it towards the crowd of girls, and threw it forward, sending them all hurtling into the sky, a comical twinkle appearing as her irritated expression fading after.

"Hmph…"

"Whew…thanks, Evanee…" Rylo said as he patted himself down, thankful that nothing was taken from him.

"So, Magnus." Daryan said while nudging his guild mate. "You saw the future. Who's winning today?" And as he said that, Alex immediately covered her ears, refusing to hear what the future had in store. She already knew she was supposed to fight, but she didn't want to hear the outcome.

"Mermaid Heel, Quatro Cerberus, White Eclipse, and of course, us." Magnus said calmly.

"Sounds like an easy day." Yakuza shrugged.

"Now, it's time for the first fight of the day!" Mato exclaimed, the crowd roaring excitedly, waiting for some action. "For the first fight, we have Mermaid Heel's Melody Silver vs. Lamia Scale's Lyon Vastia-kabo!"

"I'm up? Ah, I won't let you guys down!" Melody nodded, and quickly made her way into the arena.

"I was hoping for another match with Kagura, but I suppose this will do too," Lyon said as he nodded, making his way towards the arena."

"Good luck, Lyon!" Sherry shouted from the stands.

"Isn't that one of your pupils?" Tobias asked Ur, who simply nodded.

"That's right…he, and Gray. I spoke to the two, along with Ultear last night, just to let them know I was alive. Those two always argue over who was my star pupil."

"Sora wants to know who the star pupil was!" The young shadow manipulation mage asked, her appearance surprising a few of the members.

"Sora? Where did you…?" Tobias started.

"Shut up, Tobias," Kiora said, stopping the mage in mid-sentence. "Where did you come from?"

"Rugal ported Sora here!" Sora replied, but then turned to Ur once again. "Who is the star pupil?"

"I guess you could say…" Ur started as she rubbed her cheek, a devious grin slowly starting to appear on her face. "The star pupil is the one that manages to last the longest before I kill them…"

"I hope Kagura knows what she's doing in placing her trust in that one…" Gray mumbled.

"She has memory loss," Erza replied. "So for now, everything is okay…"

"Are both fighters ready, kabo?" Mato asked as he glanced at Melody and then Lyon.

"Ready!" Melody replied with a cheerful grin.

"Ready," Lyon said with a nod.

"Then begin, Kabo!" Mato nodded, taking a few steps back to avoid getting caught in the incoming battle.

"I'll allow the lady the first move," Lyon said while giving a bow.

"Ah, how sweet of you!" Melody said, but a sly grin slowly crawled onto her face. "But it's also quite stupid…"

"Huh…?" Lyon raised a brow at Melody's response.

Melody quickly placed her fist into her palm, a silver magic circle appearing in front of her as she threw her arms forward. "Silver Make: Lance!" From the command and the magic circle, a barrage of silver lances shot out from the circle, racing towards Lyon.

"Silver make…interesting molding magic…" Lyon thought to himself as he held a hand forward, a cyan magic circle appearing in front of his hand, creating an ice shield. "Ice Make: Shield!"

"Heh, I dunno what you're thinking…" Melody smirked as her silver lances crashed into Lyon's shield, shattering it completely. Lyon was unharmed, but he slid back a noticeable distance. "But silver is stronger than ice!"

"Her attitude clearly hasn't changed…" Gray thought to himself before shouting out to Lyon. "You better not lose, Lyon!"

"You clearly don't know the strength of my ice," Lyon replied to Melody, using a hand sign to create another ice creation. "Ice Make: Eagle!" From another cyan magic seal, a flock of eagles appeared, all flying towards Melody.

"Remember what I told you!" Kagura shouted.

"Oh, I remember!" Melody replied with a grin as she placed her hand on the ground, a silver magic circle appearing. "Silver Make: Cylinder!" A silver cylinder appeared around Melody's person, causing the mage to feel rather confident, since Kagura had told her that Lyon's eagles would circle around any frontal defenses so she thought she'd be safe. But she was wrong, as the eagles flew up the cylinder, and slammed into the mage from above, causing the cylinder to fade, and Melody to slide back. "Gah! W-What was that!?"

"Dynamic Ice Make, of course," Lyon replied with a smirk. "Ice Make: Snow Tiger!" Another cyan magic circle appeared, leading to the creation of an ice snow tiger that rushed towards Melody seconds after creation.

"That's cute, but like I already said, silver is stronger than ice! Just watch!" Melody replied as she threw her hands forward, a silver magic seal appearing under Lyon and his tiger. "Silver Make: Pillar!"

"What!?" Lyon looked down; but he was too late as the pillar slammed into him, and his tiger. The tiger shattered from contact, and Lyon flew into the air.

"Lyon, you can beat her!" Cheila shouted.

"YOU GOT IT LYON! OOOON!" Toby exclaimed.

"Ugh…molder magic…" Ruika rolled her eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kiora and Ur asked at the same time.

"Ice Make:..." Lyon started as he adjusted his body so he could attack while in the air. "Dragonfly!"

"Silver Make: Shining Lance!" Melody shouted, thrusting her arms forward as she ignored the dragonflies coming her way, and instead sent an enlarged silver lance towards Lyon, causing the dynamic ice mage's eyes to widen as the lance exploded once it made contact with him, throwing him harshly to the ground, his body bruised.

"Lyon-dono!" Jura's eyes widened.

"That one's new…" Juvia mumbled to herself.

While Lyon was stricken with Melody's newest attack, the dragonflies Lyon sent slammed into her, causing her to slide back, but she wasn't as damaged as Lyon. "H-Heh…" Melody brought the back of her hand to her mouth, wiping away a small trail of blood from her mouth. "I told you…"

"OH! And it looks Lyon took a really heavy hit!" Chapati exclaimed.

"It seems this Melody isn't a pushover in the slightest…" Yajima nodded.

"That shinning lance was super COOOOL!" Jason grinned, trembling in his seat from his own excitement.

"I'm nowhere near finished…" Lyon replied as he picked himself up, swaying slightly already. "That was a powerful attack…I can't take another one of those…" Lyon thought to himself as he placed his fist into his palm. "Ice Make: Ape! Ice Make: Serpent! Ice Make: Snow Tiger!" As Lyon spoke these words, an ice ape, an ice serpent, and another ice tiger appeared, all standing behind Lyon menacingly.

"Finish it, Lyon!" Ooba shouted from the sidelines.

"Heh…on your last leg already, huh?" Melody smirked as she placed her hand into her palm, creating a large silver battle axe that required the use of both her hands. "Silver Make: Battle Axe!"

"If I didn't know any better I'd swear she's subconsciously remembering the moves I used against her and is using them for her own benefit…" Gray commented with a stale look on his face.

Melody ran forward towards the creations as they ran towards her. The ape pulled a fist back, aiming a haymaker towards the silver-haired girl, but with ease, Melody shifted her body to the side, allowing the ape's fist to crash into the ground. Melody then pivoted on her right foot, running her axe through the ape's midsection, cleaving the creation in half; for the tiger, Melody dropped to the ground, baseball sliding underneath the creation with her axe over her head, also cleaving through that creation, leaving Lyon in utter shock as the female continued her way to him. "Is there a problem!?" Melody asked with a somewhat confident, yet evil tone as she jumped over the attacking serpent, not bothering to destroy it as she raised her axe high above her head.

"Lyon, move!" Yuka and Gray shouted in unison.

"Gah…!" Lyon managed to get over his shock, and rolled off to the side just barely, allowing Melody's axe to split the ground it struck, vanishing after.

"Oh noooo, we're not done here!" Melody grinned as she placed a foot on the ground, sending an electrical shockwave that paralyzed Lyon.

"E-Electricity…?" Milliana blinked a few times.

"When could she do that…?" Kagura raised a brow.

"Ah…so she remembered…" Veronica said with a smirk.

"Jogging her memory, eh?" Horoki asked.

"Just a little bit…" Melody replied.

"Silver Make!" Melody held her hands out, two heavy arsenal type swords appearing in her hands. "Bringer!"

"Oh come on!" Gray nearly shouted.

Melody jumped into the air, raising the heavy swords above her head and slashed Lyon in an X formation, landing behind the ice make in a standing position. The swords vanished, and Lyon fell to the ground in KO. "Boom."

"L-Lyon!" Yuka's eyes widened.

"I'm not too sure how to feel about this…" Reve thought to himself as he crossed his arms.

"A-And Lyon goes down, kabo!" Mato exclaimed. "Mermaid Heel gains ten points, which gets them a grand total of 14 points!"

"Nice job, Melody!" Beth shouted, grinning with excitement from picking up their current standings.

Lyon was returned to the Lamia Scale side as Chelia used her sky god healing powers to heal Lyon's injuries. "You did great, Lyon-sama," Chelia said with a nod and a smile.

"Mermaid Heel's Melody came out of that battle with only decent damage! I guess it's too early to say Mermaid Heel is out of the games!" Chapati shouted into his mike.

"That's one." Magnus nodded, the day already proceeding as he foresaw.

.

"Now, onto the next battle-kabo!" Mato continued. "Quatro Cerberus' Bacchus vs. Sabertooth's Rufus Lohr!"

"You got it, Rufus!" Sting smirked over to the memory make mage, who simple nodded.

"Watching these last events have added to my memory…the drunk shall fall…" Rufus replied.

"Rufus can bring us up!" Lector shouted while hopping from side to side.

"Fro thinks so too!" Frosch commented in his usual simple minded tone as he tilted his head to the side.

"Heh, this'll be a wild fight, that's for sure," Bacchus grinned as he walked into the arena.

"Bacchus is the S class mage from Quatro Cerberus," Chapati started as he began a basic review of who the contestants were. "He did lose to Elfman Strauss last year, but it was a close match, and his injuries were self-inflicted in the end. Rufus Lohr is a memory make mage from Sabertooth, the former strongest mage in Fiore. It will be interesting to see what he brings to the battle field this time!"

"Wild…" Bacchus started as he and Rufus stood apart from each other.

"FOUR!" The members of Quatro Cerberus shouted.

"Are both fighters, ready, Kabo?" Mato asked as he looked towards the two soon to be battlers.

"Ready!" Bacchus grinned as he got into his signature fighting post; his arms spread out to his sides and his knees bent somewhat.

"Ready," Rufus said with a nod.

"Begin!"

"Heh!" Bacchus wasted no time in sprinting forward as soon as he was allowed to, gathering magic in one of his palms as he swung it at Rufus, but the memory make mage simply vanished as Bacchus seemingly struck him, leaving the drunk confused as he turned around, only to see Rufus now where he started. "What the hell…?"

"That was merely your memory of me…" Rufus replied to Bacchus's confusion as he held two fingers to his forward, a red magic circle appearing behind him. "Memory Make: Electrical Hurricane!" From Rufus' magic circle an electrified hurricane (based off of the defensive one Aira used during the Sky Labyrinth, mixed with the lighting magic he witnessed from Melody) raced towards Bacchus.

"That all ya got?" Bacchus asked as he swayed his body to the side, narrowly avoiding the incoming hurricane, and continued on a sprint towards Rufus, attempting yet another magic palm strike, but he missed, as the Rufus he attacked was merely an after image, and appeared on Bacchus's left.

"Ugh…Palm magic…the absolute lowest form of magic there is…" Ruika sighed slightly.

"Memory, hm…?" Rustyrose looked towards Rufus with interest. "Memory is such a bland flower; imagination is rose that buds beautifully…"

"Again, your memory fails you…while mine is perfect," Rufus couldn't help but smirk slightly as he circled around Bacchus, creating series of after images along with himself to confuse the drunk even farther.

"Heh...perfect memory, huh? Well, try to remember this!" Bacchus smirked as he lifted a leg off the ground, and in one quick motion, brought it down, creating powerful shockwave that managed to strike Rufus, removing his after images and sent him flying away somewhat.

"T-Tch…!" Rufus scowled as he placed his fingers to his temple once again, creating another red magic circle behind him. "Memory Make: Sword of Frozen Black Lightning!" After Rufus shouted a large sword infused with lightning god slayer magic and Gray's ice make magic slammed into the ground, the thunderous shockwave and impact sending Bacchus flying back, obviously caught off guard from such an attack. The ground where Bacchus was struck was indeed frozen from the impact, however.

"Whoa!" Bacchus rolled across the ground, eventually coming to a stop as he slid across the ground, a grin appearing on his face. "Wild…"

"Memory Make…" Rufus assumed his memory make stance once again, but this time he extended his arms outward, the area around him turning into a night sky, releasing beams of light from his body, reminiscent of shooting stars in the night sky as they all rushed towards Bacchus. Bacchus merely grinned at the incoming beams of light, covering up as he literally had nowhere to go. The beams crashed into the drunk, causing a smoke cloud to appear around his person; before the smoke cleared, Bacchus rushed out once again, his palm extended as he attempted another palm strike at Rufus, but the mage's after image merely made Bacchus' attempt futile.

"Bacchus managed to land a hit, but it doesn't seem like he'll be able to land any others!" Chapati commented off from the side.

"I wouldn't count him out just yet," Yajima replied to Chapti's comment.

"How many times must I repeat myself?" Rufus said as he constantly avoided Bacchus' incoming palm strikes with no effort at all. "As long as memory exist, I cannot be defeated!"

After getting an idea, Bacchus backed off, and took a few times back, a smirk on his face. "Memory, eh? So you're telling me as long as I remember ya you'll just keep vanishing? Well…in that case, I'm glad I remembered to fill my gourd up with that heavy beer last night…I'm gonna make sure to "remember" this though…" Bacchus reached down, picking up his gourd, and began to drink from it. While this happened Rufus's eyes widened slightly from Bacchus's tone.

"What are you saying…?" Rufus asked while narrowing his eyes at the drunk.

Bacchus put his gourd down, and wiped his mouth, his cheeks pink from intoxication, but it wasn't really an issue for him as the alcohol made him stronger. "Heheh…" Bacchus now rushed forward, his speed increased tenfold as he surprised Rufus. As Bacchus ran past Rufus, he used one of his strongest moves, with consisted of him throwing multiple palm strikes almost instantly and simultaneously at Rufus, who was unable to keep up with Bacchus' newfound speed and power, taking every single hit the drunk had to off. After the attack, Bacchus turned around, holding his fingers up in a four as Rufus laid in defeat. "WILD…"

"FOUR!" Quatro Cerberus shouted in glee.

"N-No way…he beat Rufus!?" Orga's eyes widened.

"Amazing! Bacchus managed to defeat one of Sabertooth's top mages in one fell swoop! SO COOL!" Jason shouted.

"With that, Quatro Cerberus now has 15 points!" Mato exclaimed to the crowd.

"Not bad, you lazy drunk," Goldmine said with a slight grin. "Memory doesn't mean much to someone who's black out drunk."

"Hmph…losing to a simple drunk…this is why memory is weaker than imagination…" Rustyrose scoffed in disgust as Rufus was carried back to the Sabertooth section. "His imagination was too dull…"

"And that's two." Magnus once again nodded. As expected, the future he foresaw was unchanging. Only two fights remained for the day...
