Woo (LuciferxMaze)

I know it's been a while Hi! Life is crazy but decided to post. This is a quick one shot I got inspired to write after listening to Woo by Rihanna. I hope you all enjoy it I'm rating it a T just in case. I do not own Lucifer or any of the characters.

Lux was in full swing. The event for the night was called royal seduction, a title coined by Lucifer himself. The patrons were all dressed to the nines in suits and dresses and the DJ had some of the sultriest tunes playing new and old. Lucifer was in a black suit as usual but tailored to perfection and on his arm was the detective Chloe Decker. She agreed to go as friends but was definitely coming off very flirty much to Lucifer's joy. She was dressed beautifully in a simple but elegant champagne colored dress with matching heels and a clutch. Her makeup was light as usual and her hair was straight down her back she was beautiful and he knew he was the envy of quite a few.
"Enjoying yourself detective?" He asked giving her his best smile. Chloe smiled and back and twirled a loose strand behind her ear " Actually yes this has been a wonderful night so far Lucifer. You have really outdone yourself." "Splendid I do say I can't wait to see what Amendiel and Daniel come in." He said trying to keep things light as to not spoil the night. Chloe gave a giggle and went to answer when suddenly the lights changed to red and the song changed to something truly befitting the event. An announcement came over the loud speaker by the DJ. "Introducing Mazikeen of the Lilim!" He yelled catching everyone's attention. The spotlight turned to the stairs and as the song came to the chorus.
"Well let's see what Maze has done." Lucifer smirks as he and Chloe turned to face the stairs.

'Baby you just need to send for me.'

As soon they faced the stage Lucifer's mouth suddenly became very dry. There was Maze dressed impeccably in a leather spaghetti strap dress in black. It covered her body like a second skin and went down into a train. It also had a plunging v-line that dipped dangerously low passed her breast. She had a black jeweled choker around her neck and an arm bangle with rings on her right arm. She had her hair up in an intricate ponytail. Her makeup consisted of a smoky cat eye in blood red and her lipstick was the same color though if you didn't notice it would be okay since she had a lip ring on her bottom. She was elegant and sultry and outshone everyone in the room. She raised her head and gave a knowing smirk as she descended the stairs.

'Send for meeeeee, Send for meeeee, send for meeeeeeee (ooh ooh) send for meeeeeee.'

The song went as she made her way to the floor. Men and women alike looked at her with lust and envy knowing that some lucky somebody would be blessed with that body against them. And for the first time in quite a while Lucifer was determined it would be him.
Maze made her way to where they were standing eyes following as she went even though majority of the room went back to dancing and drinking. She gave a smile at the two before speaking.

"Lucifer, Chloe you both look good. How have things been?"
Chloe spoke first after giving her head a small shake as if coming out of a trance. "Maze wow you look incredible! Where did you find this dress?" "Oh this old thing, I've had it for years but didn't have a reason to take it out till now." Maze replied back.
Finally, finding his voice Lucifer spoke, "The detective is quite right you look stunning Maze. Is the party really the event for such finery?" Maze gave him an appraising look. One he had seen on her face many a time in the past and it usually followed days locked in his bedroom. She gave a small smirk before replying.

"Partially, this is also going to be my last night in L.A. so I decided to do it up right."
"Last night in L.A.?!" Both Lucifer and Chloe spoke in surprise. "Why would you leave?" Chloe followed up while Lucifer went with "Where are you going?" Not at all liking the idea of his Maze leaving him.
"I'm moving to Vegas. I'm in need of a change of scenery. I can take my bounty hunting there and besides you all are all in good hands so it's time to go. I'll of course come to visit when I can. Don't want my little human to miss me too much." "Well good for you Maze." Chloe said genuinely happy for her while Lucifer looked to be struggling for words. Chloe looked at him expectantly waiting for him to encourage Maze as well but when he said nothing after a minute she went to speak again in his place. "Maze," she started but unfortunately whatever Chloe was gonna say will never be known as her cellphone began to ring in her purse. She reached in and grabbed it answering quickly.

"Decker." She said listening to the other person. "Okay on my way."she said hanging up after some time.

"Lucifer I gotta go to a crime scene. I'd ask you to come but you need to stay for the event so I'll catch you up at work tomorrow." Lucifer barely nodded before she was racing up the stairs.
After she was gone Lucifer fully focused on Maze again who was looking at him expectantly. "You okay over there Lucifer?" She asked cocking her head to the side slightly. Lucifer for his part finally regained his bearings. "You're leaving me?" He said voice softer than she's heard in a while. "You can't leave Maze, you're my demon."
Maze smiles at him but instead of it being comforting or sad it was a sharp smile. One she used when she was feeling angry or annoyed with someone. "I no longer work for you Lucifer we both know that. You set me free and I plan to spread my wings. Besides you don't need me any longer."
"Of course I need you Maze. You're my partner in crime." He says trying to convince her of to stay. She shakes her head as she replies. "Lucifer we haven't been partners in a very long time. That spot has been taken by another." She lifts her hand caressing his face causing him to close his eyes relishing in her warmth.
"I need more than to be your partner in crime Lucifer. And you can't give me that." She says taking her hand away. Lucifer opens his eyes and sees that Maze has turned to walk away heading up to the penthouse. He stands there watching her enter the elevator mind racing. He knows he likes the detective. She challenges and amuses him a great deal and they are a good team even though she doesn't believe he truly is who he says he is. But Mazikeen, his Maze, has stood by his side for millennia. She came followed him through the gates of Hell and though they've had their fights over the years she has always been in his corner. Seeing him for the good and the bad. He has grown and changed and as he thinks everything over he realizes that so has she. There is a warmth there that shines through begging to acknowledged and it's about time that he does just that. So with one deep breath and determination filling his entire being, Lucifer makes his choice and follows after his demon.
