Well, continuing from the previous discussion, it's a pleasure to know that many people have enjoyed my stories, so I've decided not to abandon them. Greetings from your friend, KaleidoMirror. I'm attempting to update and enhance my stories. I'll bring you improved and revised versions for now.

Greetings to all.

"Hey... Shirou, what are you doing?" asked the little girl beside me, her gaze filled with deep concern. We had spent over three years together, but she still couldn't get used to my recent activities. I wanted to reassure her, but at that moment, I had to focus on the final step. Struggling against the pain coursing through my body, I clenched my teeth, and I could feel my canines slightly grinding together. Even though I kept my eyes closed to maintain my concentration, it was not hard to imagine the expression of panic and fear on Rize's face.

Both children were alone in one of the main rooms of the facility. They were dressed in soft, pure white garments that seemed to stand out even more against the backdrop. The older of the two had a unique mane of orange hair, with unruly strands falling over his forehead. His deep golden eyes were fixed on the object he held in his hands: a polished piece of steel. Across from him, his companion, a girl with long shoulder-length hair of deep purple, observed him with eyes of the same color.

For Shirou Emiya, now Shirou Washuu, the fact that he was one of several children of Tsuneyoshi Washuu, the current head and president of the CCG, meant nothing to him. In his previous life, he had been a mage, a practitioner of supernatural arts with immense power. He had access to an astonishing variety of abilities, from elemental mastery to alchemy, runes, and mystical codes. In his time, such abilities were rare, even among mages, and possessing them made him a trump card for families with ancient lineages. But the most valuable aspect of all these skills was their inherent capacity to unravel the mysteries of a magus, their spells, and secrets that went beyond the ordinary.

At just six years old, he still harbored doubts about how the world he had been born into worked. Instead of seeking an explanation for his own existence, he had witnessed that the life of a magus was always shrouded in a cloak of mystery and death. There was no other reason to live in the shadows of a society that coexisted with monsters, beings whose power resembled that of the dead apostles. Of course, they were not as powerful as those beings, nor did their names inspire the same terror as the legends from his previous world.

The Ghouls, at their core, were nothing more than necrophagous demons that found their dwelling in inhospitable and uninhabited places. They were classified as undead monsters, those who desecrated graves and reveled in the flesh of corpses, even infants. However, the laws that governed their old world had no place in this one. Here, they were considered a carnivorous and cannibalistic species, with only one sustenance: the flesh of humans and other Ghouls.

At first glance, they were practically identical to humans in their physical appearance and intelligence. However, they differed crucially in their diet, mentality, and internal biology. Shirou understood that these differences marked their fate, one stained with the blood of innocents who were not guilty of being prey to these monsters. The current system, led by the Washuu clan through the Commission of Ghoul Countermeasures, was the worst of all. They had managed to seize the most influential positions in the organization, allowing them to use a large number of human lives to achieve their goals, no matter how sinister they were. They saw people as mere numbers in an equation. But that was only one side of the coin; the other side was their alliance with the mysterious organization V.

His clan had been a master at hiding their true nature, a nature that Shirou shared. Being part of the main branch of the clan, he understood what his role would be in the future, but he vehemently refused to accept it. He didn't want to be complicit in a clan with such twisted principles.

Although he admitted that it was impossible to save everyone, that did not mean he would abandon them, especially when he had the power to protect them. He was putting all his effort into it. Since he could remember, since his birth in the White Sun Garden, a facility owned by the CCG, he had been part of an experiment that provided "talented" children through "special education." Among the children surrounding him, he began to notice that, over time, their numbers dwindled. The reason behind this was that not everyone could withstand the intense and grueling combat training to which they were subjected, an emphasis on tactics and combat skills that left aside more traditional aspects of formal education.

With his "eyes," Shirou could see that most of the children gathered there were the offspring of Ghoul-Human couples. Their hybrid nature granted them superhuman strength and abilities, but without the ability to develop a kagune or a kakugan. They were destined to become important Ghoul investigators. But what he detested the most was the fate of the girls, who were destined to preserve the blood of the Washuu Clan.

A year ago, after numerous trials and errors, Shirou noticed something inside him that set him apart from the others. He discovered that, although he appeared identical to his companions on the outside, he had developed a mutation within him: a predatory organ called a Kagune. According to the scarce information he had managed to gather, the Kagune was an organ that set him apart from humans. It was adapted to serve as a predatory tool and was composed of unique cells called "Rc Cells" that produced a brilliant liquid similar to blood. At first, he could only interact with this organ at a very low level of consciousness.

He observed how this brilliant liquid flowed through his body, and through his structural analysis, he noticed how it concentrated in twenty-seven familiar points on his body. It was not hard for him to imagine that these points physically represented his magic circuits, the conduits of his magic. The substance permeated his organs, naturally reinforcing them and steadily increasing his vitality and strength. However, the highest concentration of this substance was in his predatory organ, the Kagune. At that moment, he did not understand why he could not deploy it, bring it to a physical state, but he theorized that with time, he could master it at will.

At this point, Shirou understood that this new source of energy represented a new possibility to enhance his abilities. Being a hero of justice was his dream, his ideal, the crystallization of his being since he was a child. He remembered the night when Kiritsugu had spoken to him about his regrets, and something deep within him had resonated. Those words had been the catalyst that gave meaning to his life. Therefore, as long as this new power could be used to save all those in front of him, even if it made him the most selfish person in the world, denying the regrets that Archer spoke of, he was willing to do it. He never wished he had become a Counter Guardian, but he had glimpsed the inner world he could reach, battling his own ideals and facing an uncertain future. His body was made of swords, his blood was of steel, and his heart was an unbreakable crystal.

Recently, through countless trials and errors, Shirou had finally managed to successfully master the control of two "tentacles," his Rinkaku-type Kagune. After meticulous analysis and experiments, he had unraveled the mystery that allowed him to vary their volume at will. But the surprises didn't stop there. He had thought that these new extensions of his body would have the ability to modify the characteristics of these fleshy "muscles." However, he had discovered that he could do much more than that: harden them or make them soft at his complete discretion. By manipulating the amount of Rc Cells that constituted them and concentrating them at the tips, he had managed to harden them to the point where they appeared to be dyed a desolate black. And now, he was entering the next phase of his experiment.

He had tested the sharpness of these tentacles in the past, but what intrigued him at this moment was the combination of his Kagune with his Od, a power he knew all too well from his previous life as a mage. He let the Od flow from his magic circuits, which pulsed eagerly, traversing his pseudo-nervous system. He felt his pores absorbing the mana from the surrounding environment and, at the same time, the Rc Cells in his blood merging to form a new, strange yet familiar energy. As this new energy flowed into his Kagune, he felt an immediate change. The black tips were dyed a brilliant steel color, enhancing every aspect of the organ: strength, flexibility, hardness. It was as if all aspects of his Kagune were being improved in a matter of seconds.

In front of his now amazed friend's gaze, Shirou managed to make fine and imperceptible cuts in the steel. This experiment was a crucial step toward his ultimate goal, and he could feel that he was closer than ever to achieving it.

With the experiment concluded without any hitches and despite his new friend's pouting, Shirou managed to convince her to return to her room. As she walked away, he immersed himself in deep thoughts about the next steps to reach his goal: escaping from that prison and saving as many children as possible from their bleak fate. Determination burned in his heart, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make his dream of justice a reality.
