'Nothing yet.' Izuku thought, looking at his hand. It has been 10 years since he visited the doctor and was told he had a quirk but he didn't know what it was or how to activate it. Obviously it wasn't a mutation or transformation quirk, so it was most likely an emitter type. "But how do I activate it?" Izuku Midoriya was now 14 years old and still couldn't activate his mysterious quirk.
"Hey deku!" Izuku looked up and saw his childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugou. "Still haven't figured out your quirk yet? Are you sure the doctors haven't lied to you?"
"I-I know I have a quirk, the doctors wouldn't lie." Izuku said, stuttering.
"Well I think he did because he knew you were a crybaby. Why don't you just give up." Bakugou teased. He was shocked when Izuku's eyes glow yellow for a brief second.
"Because I never give up." Izuku said with determination.
"Well you should. Everyone knows i'm going to be the next 1# hero after All Might." Katsuki declared.
"Hmm, you are right." Izuku said with fear.
"Wow like, you thinking you can be number is so funny. And what did I tell you about picking on Zuzu sparky? It gets like, way old." Izuku turned around and saw his friend, Camie approaching them and hugging Izuku from behind.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SPARKY, AIRHEAD!" Katsuki yelled.
"Anyway, like I'm totes in a mood for ice cream, let's go grab a scoop, Zuzu." Camie said, grabbing Izuku's arm, ignoring Bakugou.
"Don't Ignore me!" Bakugou yelled.
"You should just be quiet, you totally sound better with your mouth closed." Camie said, pulling Izuku away from the exploder. Izuku was blushing up a storm as the girl pulled him away.
"Fuck both of you!" Katsuki said before walking away.
"T-thank you Utsus-" "what did I tell you about calling me that? We're BFF, call me Camie-chan." Camie said, wrapping her arms around Izuku's neck as she circled behind him. She bent down and whispered in his ear. "Say it, Ca~mie~chan"
"C-Camie-chan, thanks for helping me." Izuku said, face as red as a tomato.
"You're like, so cute." Camie said, rubbing her cheek against Izuku's. "Do you know why you're having problems with your quirk?"
Izuku calmed down and looked down in shame. "I'm not sure,I thought it would be easy but I can't get it to activate."
"This is like, totes confusing. Most quirks are activated by a trigger." Camie said. "Oh, I know! Try acting the opposite of yourself. Act confident, maybe that's your trigger."
Izuku's eyes widened and he went into deep thinking mode. "Maybe you're right, I didn't really try to put any mental effort into it because I thought it would be easy. But to have confidence could be the key but what if it's so emotions ... .mumble…mumble ..." Izuku started as they walked under the park bridge.
"Zuzu, you're doing the nerd thing." Camie said, making Izuku look down in embarrassment. "You're so cute. So, why do you let the lame-o treat you like that?"
"I-it's not h-his fault. Everyone at school hyped him up and caused him to build his ego." Izuku said. Camie pouted and jumped on his back. "C-cami-chan?!" Izuku said, blushing
"I totes, believe in you, ya know." Camie said. Izuku paused and turned his head. "You already have the heart and you're totally smart. You shouldn't give up, because that's now you. Remember when I first moved here and everyone thought I was weird because of how I talk, it's uncool how they treated me. I admit I was kinda rude but it sucked being alone. But you.." Cmie hugged him tighter. "You walked up to me and became my new BFF. even though you get nervous around me. What I'm saying is, keep going and become like, the best hero ever."
Izuku stared at his friend with respect and gave her a smile. "Thanks Camie-chan. I needed to hear that." Izuku got out her embrace and turned to the aloof girl. "Let us both become great heroes." Izuku said.
"Now you're totes speaking my language." Camie cheered.
"Wow, how touching." Both teenagers looked up and saw a slime-like creature looking down at them. "Too bad I have to break up at this moment. You two have such nice bodies but I think I want…" the villain turned to Camie and gave her a sadistic smirk. "YOu!"
"You're like totes disgusting." Camie said, not even worried.
The villain jumped from the ceiling towards Camie, preparing to capture his prey. "Camie-chan! Watch out!" Izuku yelled, pushing the girl out the way, resulting in him getting tackled by the slime. The villain engulfed Izuku in his body. "G-get off."
"Sorry kid, I'm going to borrow your body." the villain said.
"N-no, get off me. I want to be a hero. So get off me!" Izuka's body started to glow green and so did the sludge villain. After that he was forced off Izuku and slammed against the wall.
"Don't worry because I am here!" All Might said as he appeared. "I'll take it from here, kids."
Izuku nodded but before he could talk to All Might, he felt something soft on his back. "Zuzu, you like, glowing so shiny. How are you doing that?"
'She's too close.' Izuku thought before realizing what she said. "I'm glowing?" Izuku said before looking at his hand. "I activated my quirk!" Izuku said.
"Yeah, you were so cool. Like one of those psychics in the comic books you read." Camie said.
"What do you mean?" Izuku asked his friend.
"The sludge dude was glowing green like you and when yell 'get off me', he flew away from you."
"I'm a psychic?" Izuku said.
Izuku opened his eyes and looked around. He was in a black void surrounded by four spheres that were different colors. There was a red sphere, blue sphere, yellow sphere and green sphere. He approached the red sphere and touched it. 'Strength.' Izuku heard a voice around him. He approached the blue sphere next. 'Energy.'
Izuku opened his eyes and woke up in his bed. "What's that a dream?" Izuku said and walked to his bathroom and splash some water on his face. "What?" When he looked into the mirror, he was glowing blue. While he was staring, a blue laser shot out his eye reflected off the mirror and hit him. "Ow, tsh… huh, I can shoot lasers? And why am I blue?"
"And that's what happened." Izuku said. He was on the beach with All Might, ready to inherit his quirk but All Might told the young hero he needed to strengthen his body.
"But I thought you were a psychic." Toshinori said. "From what you told me, you were glowing green when you thought you were a psychic, then last night, you started to glow blue and shoot lasers… is there anything you remember before that happened?"
"Well, I had a dream that I was surrounded by four different colored orbs. A blue, red, yellow and green one. I reached for the blue one and woke up like that. When I touched it, it said energy and the red one said strength." Izuku said. "From what I understand, each color represents a form and power. The blue said, 'energy'. I assume it means energy blast."
"I see, so strength must mean your physical strength. Can you try to activate the red sphere? You said you saw it in a dream, try to clear your mind until you arrive in the empty realm." Izuku nodded and closed his eyes. Toshinori watched Izuku, seeing if anything would happen. He gasped when Izuku's body started to glow red and when he opened his eyes, his pupil was red as well. Alright, let's begin! Try to punch me as hard as you can. I want to see how strong your punch is." All Might said, jumping away from Midoriya. "I'll give you a running start."
"Alright, here I come." Izuku ran towards All Might in blinding speed. All Might was surprised by collecting himself before using his palm to catch Midoriya punch. When Izuku's fist met All Might's hand, there was a huge shockwave. They created waves in the water and sand was pushed away.
"That's about 25% of my strength and he's not muscular." All Might thought. Izuku stumbled back and fell on the sand. "Alright, Young Midoriya. It seems your strength did not just increase but so did your speed. I believed it boosted your physical attributes. But it does bring me to another question. How would one for all affect your…quirk? You need a name for it."
"Well, how do we figure it out?" Izuku asked.
"I have a friend who also knows my secret. He's a genius analyzer and I bet he may have some answers." All Might reassured.
"T-t-th-this is U.A!" Midoriya yelled as he and Toshinori walked into the school.
"Right, you want to go here. Well, my friend works here and he'll be able to help us understand your quirk." Toshinori said as the two made their way inside the building. Soon they arrive at the principal office. When he walked in, there was some type of animal at the principal desk.
"Oh, Toshinori and who is this?" The animal walked towards the two. "Hey young man, am I a dog, a bear or a rat?" He stopped in front of Izuku and held out his hand. "None of them, I'm the principal, Nezu. nice to meet you."
"Oh, uh…nice to meet you too." Izuku responded.
"It's nice to see you again, old friend. But we came regarding Midoriya-shonen's quirk and how it'll mix with one for all."
"Hmm, tell Midoriya-kun. What does your quirk do?" Nezu asked. Izuku explained about his quirk abilities that he learned and Nezu was interested in the potential of his quirk. "Well, from what I learned. Your quirk revolves around manipulation Aura or life energy. I'm also certain that you have abnormal energy levels because of the quirk. Tell me Midoriya-kun, when was the last time you got tired or exhausted? And what's your IQ?"
Izuku adopted a thinking pose. "Well, I don't remember the last time I got tired and my IQ was 145, the last time I checked."
"Your aura affects your mind and body as you grow. And if I'm correct, then mixing Toshinori quirk with yours will overcharge your body and cripple you. My theory is, if you take one for all in your body, it'll amplify the growth rate of your aura and overcharge your body. Also there's the fact that you use different Aura abilities depending on the form. One for all could pull them together and cause your body to break down." Izuku looked down in disappointment. "Don't be upset, I honestly doubt you'll need it anyway."
"Huh, what do you mean?" Izuku asked.
"Like I said earlier, everyday your quirk grows stronger and you're also one of the few heroes who are versatile. I believe you have the potential to become #1 without Toshi's quirk. But you need to learn the limits. I'm pretty sure each form has a time limit or something but that's for you to figure out."
"Don't worry, Midoriya-Shonen." All Might said. "You'll still be my successor. You don't need one for All to be #1. You have the heart of a true Hero and that is what drew me to you."
"Thanks All Might.. I'll help you find a new successor. Aren't there any others you might know that are determined to help someone. Maybe someone quirkless like you was?"
"Well, there's one person but she gave up on becoming a hero. You might be able to help me convince her and I can train both of you at the same time."
Izuku tilted his head to the side. "Who's this person?"
Four month later.
"Come on you two. You both won't make it in time for the U.A exam." All Might teased his two students.
"Come on, Uncle Might. We're more than 90% done." Melissa pouted as she and Izuku cleaned the beach.
"Haha, if you get too tired. I don't mind taking over." Izuku offered, earning a warm smile from his new friend.
"No, it's ok Izuku-kun. I need to become stronger. I have a opportunity to become number #1 and I don't want to waste it." Melissa said with determination.
"How could you be #1, when I'm going to be #1?" Izuku teased. Melissa chuckled at Izuku's joke. She was glad she decided to accept All Might's offer to become a hero. Even though she gave up on attaining a quirk, she felt like it was too much of honor to pass up.
Flashback:
"What, you can give me a quirk?" Melissa asked in shock.
"That's right, I know how you wanted to become a hero like me and to be honest, I wasn't sure I wanted to offer you this since you're my niece." All Might said.
"I'm not sure, I want to help people but I want to do it like my father."
"Melissa-san." Melissa turned to Midoriya, who gave up a warm smile. "You have an opportunity that no one else has. You can become a hero like All Might and give people hope. You don't have to stop inventing. You can do both but from what All Might told me, you wanted to be a hero. All Might trust you and I believe he made the right call. He said you wanted to save lives and help people with your inventions. You can do both and I'll be there by your side." Melissa blushed at the comment and looked at the two before deciding.
Flashback end:
"And done." Izuku and Melissa said. They were finally done cleaning the beach. Over the past four months, Izuku learned more about his quirk. He can stay in each form for an hour each and won't be able to use the same form for an hour. The longer he was in each form, the multiplier to his strength increased until deactivation, which meant he would want to stay in each form as long as possible. Izuku's body developed very well, he had a six-pack and was toned.
"Good job, Izuku-kun." Izuku turned to the girl and blushed. The sweat was going down Melissa's body, which Midoriya had to admit was gorgeous. Camie was slim, but Melissa was slightly muscular but in a good way. It didn't help that parts of her tracksuit were ripped. "Man, I'm hot." Melissa took off her jacket and Izuku's brain went into overload.
"M-Melissa, H-here." Izuku took off his jacket and gave it to Melissa. Melissa was confused until she looked down. She noticed some of her skin was showing but she wasn't embarrassed although she was blushing.
"Oh, thank you." Melissa responded.
"Now Melissa, it's time I pass my quirk off to you." All Might pulled out a pluck of his hair and presented it to Melissa. "Eat this and you will inherit my quirk."
"Huh, I thought it would be like a ritual or something." Izuku said.
"Not at all, I need to transfer part of my DNA to you and this is the easiest way."
Melissa and Izuku looked at each other before the blonde girl stepped forward and grabbed the hair. "Bottoms's up."
U.A Exam Location.
"Looks like I finally made it." Izuku said with excitement. "I can't wait to get into the school, especially to see Melissa and Came.
"Outta my way Deku." Izuku turned to the voice and saw Katsuki.
"Bakugo." Izuku responded.
"Don't stand in front of me or I'll kill you." Bakugo threatened.
"Good luck with that. Try not to blow yourself up when I take first place." Izuku responded with a challenge.
"Listen here fuck face, I will take first place." Bakugo said, glaring at the green hair.
"Sure." Izuku said, walking away, causing Katsuki to seethe.
As Izuku was walking, someone bumped into him. "Oops, sorry." Izuku turned around and saw a cute girl behind him, rubbing her forehead.
"Are you ok?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah, I was distracted. To be honest I'm kind of nervous." the girl said.
"I can understand. Same here. All we can do is try our best." Izuku said.
"Hmm, you're right. Anyway, nice meeting you." the girl said before walking away. Izuku had a warm smile as he watched the girl walk away.
" I'm glad there are some nice people."
U.A high-school Entrance Exam.
"This is amazing. U.A really likes to go all out." Midoriya said, standing outside the gate of the faux battle ground. 'If I remember, there are three types of enemies. Depending on the enemies I defeat, depends on how many points I receive.' Izuku thought to himself. "Huh, there's the girl from earlier." Izuku said as he saw the girl he met outside the building. "I guess I'll go say hi."
He was about to walk to her until he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Excuse me but what are you doing?" Izuku turned around and saw a guy with glasses holding his shoulder. The guy looked at the girl before shifting his glare back at Izuku. "The girl is trying to concentrate, are you taking the exam to interfere with everyone else?"
"What, no. Why would you assume such a thing? I know her and wanted to wish her good luck." Izuku told the boy.
"I see. Well it's good to have good sportsmanship but everyone is trying to focus so it's rude to disturb others."
Izuku gave the boy a confused look. "Like how you're disturbing me and trying to intimidate me by glaring at me like a villain?"
The boy gasps and bow. "My deepest apologies, I didn't mean to make you nervous. I was trying to make sure you played fair."
"Umm, ok. Well, good luck in the exam." Izukua said before walking away.
"Alright! This is President Mic speaking and I'll begin explaining the rules. There's going to be villain bots that are worth different points. Your job is to take down the robots and build up as many points as you can, but watch out for the zero pointer. Now let's begin!" President Mic said. Izuku changed to red form and charged forward. He punched through a bot, then ran to another bot with amazing speed.
"What are you doing?" Izuku asked, looking at the rest of the students. "The test has already started!" The other students' eyes widened and they ran forward. "Izuku kept destroying them one by one with ease. After half an hour, he smiled and deactivated his red form. "That should be good enough."
"Run it's the Zero pointer!" Izuku heard and turned around to see a big robot heading towards him.
"I gotta get out of here." "Help! I'm stuck." Izuku went pale as he noticed how close the robot was to the girl he met before.
'I might fail but her life comes first." Izuku ran towards the robot . 'I can't you my power form, hopefully energy works.' Izuku's whole body started to glow blue, so did his hair and eyebrows. He ran beside the girl as the robot was a few inches away. "I have to pour all my energy into this attack." Izuku thrust his fists forward and shot a blue beam at the robot but the robot was still walking. "I NEED MORE POWER! TAKE EVERYTHING!" Izuku's whole body started to glow brighter and poured more power into his attack. The beam ripped through the chest of the Zero Pointer. The robot began to static before it exploded. Izuku's body turned back to normal and he smiled at Ochako. "I'm glad you're ok." He said before passing out.
"Young Midoriya, wake up." Izuku grunted a bit as he opened his eyes. "Young Midoriya, are you alright?"
"All Might, where am I?" Izuku asked, sitting up.
"You're in the medical office. You passed out after you released a huge aura beam. You overexert yourself. You've been out for two days." Toshinori said.
Izuku's eyes widened. "I destroyed the Zero pointer!" Izuku looked down as he clenched his fist. "I failed, I'm sorry All Might."
Toshinori shook his head. "Actually you didn't, you destroyed the Zero Pointer and actually earned you some points. You rescue Young Uraraka even though you knew you would fail, she even assisted we give you her points. We kind of place U.A would be if we turned down someone like you. You score the highest and I'm proud to say." Toshinori transforms to All Might. "Welcome to U.A High. you are one step closer to your dream."
Izuku started to quiver and began to cry. "I-i did it."
"Hahaha, well I hope you get well soon because you and Melissa will resume more training soon." All Might said with pride. Izuku just nodded.
