Yep. This is a remake of Kingdom Hearts III. I thought about it long and hard and decided to remake Legend of the Kyuubi. It will have the same twist of Sora and Naruto being cousins only there will be some differences. What are they? You'll see.

"Okay, start talking.", said the duck to the boy.

"You were gone a long time. What were ya doin'?", asked the tall dog as a boy was running up the stairs towards him.

"Heh heh heh. Secret. I'm back!", said the boy as he opens the door in front of him.

Sora is the legendary hero of the Keyblade and goes on adventures with his friends Donald Duck: a magician, and Goofy: a knight.

But when he opened the door, no one was inside except an old wizard sitting at his desk.

The three of them walked in and Sora asked, "Huh? Just us?"

"The others had more important work to do. So I sent them on their way." Sora crossed his arms and pouted.

That's great. They coulda said good-bye."

Donald points up at Sora and said, "It's your fault you missed them."

"It is not. I just like to say goodbye to all my friends."

"Then do it faster!" Sora lowered his head at his friend.

"I'm here now, right?" He said while he and Donald glared at each other.

"To defeat Xehanort, there are allies we must gather, acting now to rouse them from their slumber. We have discussed this before, Sora. Your Mark of Mastery Exam was conducted in the hopes you would the power to wake them."

"Your grasp of your new abilities leaves much to be desired." Yen Sid stated and Sora puts his head down in sadness. "Furthermore, Xehanort nearly made you his vessel, and in the process stripped you from most of the power you had gained by then."

"Whatever. Happens all the time." Sora said. Yen Sid nodded.

"Yes. Chip and Dale are currently analyzing data that Ansem the Wise provided to Riku and which could offer us a clue to retrieving our friends' lost hearts. I have very high hopes for this data. However, our greatest chance of stopping Xehanort's plan still lies with you... and two new guardians of light." Sora raised his eyebrow.

"Huh? New guardians of light? What are you talking about?" Yen Sid closed his eyes.

"I had a vision of a possible future. The future where we were victorious. I saw two new heroes fighting alongside you." One is a courageous young man. He has a very powerful demon inside of him. Before he was born, the king helped the young man's father before he was born to help save his village. That was 16 years ago. Unfortunately, the man and his wife died a week after the king left by protecting his son before he sealed the demon fox inside the baby." Sora's eyes widen. He then slams the table.

"Why? What kind of father would do that to his only son?" He asked in anger.

"Settle down, Sora." Yen Sid waved his hands. "He did it so that people like Xehanort wouldn't use the fox's power for his evil gain. He trusted his son could use it to save his village but now he needs your help. His village is now under attack by a villain whose name is Pain." Yen Sid said as he showed Sora, Donald and Goofy the village being destroyed. Sora sees a pink-haired young woman screaming for Naruto's name.

"That girl. For some reason, she reminds me of Kairi." Yen Sid then turns off the visions.

"You must go to the village immediately and assist Naruto in stopping Pain and bring him and that young woman. I'll explain why later." Sora gives Naruto a determined look.

"Don't worry, we'll put a stop to this Pain and bring Naruto with us." Yen Sid nodded. Donald and Goofy saluted.

"I would have it no other way. Donald, Goofy I put Sora in your hands."

Sora was excited as He hugged them. The gang is back together.

Donald then said, "You can't become a master without us!"

"Huh?"

Goofy said, "I never woulda thought you'd fail that exam, Sora."

"Hey!" Sora pouted. But Donald couldn't stop teasing Sora.

"Face it, you're just a half-pint."

"But the three of us together make a whole pint!"

"Pint and a half." Sora corrected.

"And don't forget, we'll keep an eye on you." Donald declared. Goofy gives a heartily laugh.

"Oh, this is gonna be lots of fun!"

"It's not a vacation!" Sora said. He smiled at his friends before leaving for their mission.

After reaching the Gummi ship, Sora sighed in the gummi ship in frustration.

"How are we supposed to get there now?" He asked.

"What?" I thought you would know." Donald frowned.

"It looks like the All the Highwinds are closed." Goofy pointed out.

Donald said, "C'mon, Sora. Which way?"

"Ummm…"

"Hey, would you get serious?"

"Gimme a break, I'm trying. These things take time!" Sora growled.

"Well... since it's a world we've never been, why don't you imagine Naruto like he's here."

Sora was trying to focus but still couldn't do it.

"Well?", asked Donald.

"Sorry, I got nothin'. What did you expect?" Sora asked. Donald sighed in frustration.

"May your heart be your guiding key," Goofy said. Sora turns to him in confusion.

"Huh? What's that?", asked Sora.

"Master Yen Sid always said that. Right before we went off on our any of our important adventures."

"Really? Ring any bells?" Sora asked Donald who shook his head.

"Maybe I just imagined it," Goofy said.

"May my heart be my guarding key..." Sora said quietly. He shut his eyes for a brief moment before realized it and summoned his Keyblade and opened a new gate. A Keyhole portal opened and Sora drove towards it. Beginning their adventure.

Konoha

Sakura couldn't believe it... The village was destroyed. But how? A minute ago it was peaceful but now it's chaos. She looks around in shock. She then hears people screaming. She looks over to see black-like creatures attacking other people and seeing their bodies disappear before her very eyes. She sees one ninja trying to kill them but they have no effect. Sakura pinned her hands to the ground and started crying.

"Naruto... hurry..." She then put more emotion and yelled "NARUTO!" Meanwhile, Her eyes were closed as she gasped as they got the jump on her, and before they got to her, a boy her age jumped in front of her and killed them before she could be wounded. Sakura spotted a boy her age standing in front of her holding two strange creatures. A duck threw his staff on the creatures, and a dog smacked it with a shield. She was completely surprised by the sight. The boy offered to help her.

"Are you okay?" He asked. The girl nodded her head reluctantly. The boy gives her a cheesy smile, reminding her of Naruto's. She then sees the weapon he's carrying.

"Thanks, umm..."

"Oh... my name is Sora." He offered his hand Sakura reluctantly took it. He then pointed to his friends. "This is Donald and Goofy."

"Oh... nice to meet you, Sora." Sakura was eyeing her weapon. Noticed it and showed it off.

"This is is called a Keyblade. It's the only weapon to destroy those creatures. They're called the Heartless. She nodded. She then widens her eyes. "Oh, no. The village. It's being destroyed by those dark creatures."

"I know, I don't have time to explain but I need to find a guy named Naruto Uzumaki, have you seen him?" Sakura was surprised. Sakura was surprised but she had a feeling this boy was here to help and maybe he can help Naruto out.

"Yeah..." She looks from afar and widens her eyes.

"He's down there." Sakura pointed out. Sora looked down and widen his eyes. He sees the villain Pain dispatching Naruto's giant frogs and killed an old green frog-like creature. He then summons a Heartless and grabbed the boy. Sakura covered her mouth, fearing what will happen to her friend.

"Oh, no... guys, we better go help him!" He said to Donald and Goofy rush to save the boy.

Naruto was panting. He with all of his powers is falling into Pain. The man who killed his mentor. He growled at the man in anger.

"W-why? Why are you doing this?" The man closed his eyes for a moment before answering...

"Because my master told me that the only way to have peace is to cover darkness with light. You see Naruto. Darkness is the heart's true nature and it can lead to peace all over the world. Naruto looked confused at Pain.

"Master? Worlds? What the hell are you talking about?" Pain gives an evil chuckle.

"Years ago before you were born, my master came to this world and showed me the power of darkness. He saw that I had great potential and recruited me to help him with his plan. And he plans to make you and the Fox Demon his vessel."

"Y-you'll pay for this." Naruto groaned. Pein was about to use the power of the dark and turns around Naruto to lie upwards. Suddenly he was knocked away by a shield. He looked up in confusion. He sees Three new figures in front of Naruto. Sora, Donald, and Goofy

"Wha-what? Who are you guys?" Naruto questioned. Sora turned around and grinned.

"My name's Sora."

"I'm Donald."

"And I'm Goofy. A pleasure to meet you." Sora offered his hand to help Naruto up. The young Uzumaki took it and grinned.

"So... you are here, Sora." They both turned around to be surprised that Pein knew his name.

"We were expecting you to come. After all, Xehanort was counting on it." Sora's eyes widen.

"Are you part of the Organization too? Where is your black coat?" Sora asked. Pein ignored him.

"This world is of need of darkness. If I destroy this village with the power of darkness. Then I can save this world."

"Save?" Naruto asked. "You think killing innocent people would save this world? And who the hell is Xehanort?" Sora turned to him.

"I'll explain once we take care of this creep." Naruto didn't know this young man from what he could tell, he seems like a good ally so he nodded.

"Right... Do you hear that Pain? It's round 2 of our fight." Pain smirked before raising his hand. Sora jumped and slashed at his opponent to start the battle.

Meanwhile, Sakura was busy healing the injured Hokage Lady Tsunade. Tsunade grinned at her student in pride. She taught her well in medical Jutsu. She then remembered why the enemy attacked.

"Sakura, where is Naruto?" She sees the other survivors carrying Shizune's body.

"He's out there battling Pein." The Hokage's eyes widen. "But don't worry. He has some help. Some boy and his friends came by and saved me from dark creatures."

"Boy?" Tsunade questioned. "What boy?"

"I was attacked by those dark creatures, Milady. They were called the Heartless. I thought was doomed but this boy with a key came by and saved me. His name is Sora." Tsunade's eyes widen.

"Sora? "No... it can't be." "And what weapon did he use again?"

"A key." Sakura answered.

"Key... was it a Keyblade?" Sakura's eyes widen.

"Milady... how did you know that?" Tsunade closed her eyes for a brief moment.

"Because... they came here before." Sakura's eyes widen in shock. Tsunade turned to her.

"I'll tell you later." She told her. "Right now we gotta help the villagers." Sakura nodded.

"Right!" Sakura agreed and healed the others.

Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Naruto Get into a battle stance against Pain.

"You think the power of light is stronger than the power of darkness? Darkness is the true power of the heart. It can help lead to peace of the worlds. I can use it to dispatch those that attack it."

"And kill innocent people?" Sora asked.

"Sometimes we need sacrifices, Keyblade wielder. For peace to last forever."

"That's Bullcrap!" snapped Naruto. "Killing people is not peaceful! It makes things worst."

"Then you understand nothing." Pain declared as he raises his palms. Sora feels his body shaking and was being pulled to Pein like a magnet. He could see his weapon that he plans to use to kill him but Donald Stopped it before he could reach Sora. Once he escapes, Sora takes advantage and Strikes him with Sonic blade.

Pein surged at Naruto and, with one punch, hammered him hard into the ground, making Naruto wince in pain. Pein pulls out a metal rod, situating Naruto's hands so he could cut through the two of them. Sora cuts in before he could cause damage as he utilizes his ability to charge at Pein and leaves him substantial harm. Donald cures him while Goofy spins around against Pein. Naruto crosses his hands and yells...

"Shadow clone-Jutsu!" Naruto yelled as twenty clones of Naruto showed up. Sora went along with them as the clones as they all utilization Rasgengan and pushes it against Pein. Sora takes the last strike by striking his force of light. This wrecked Pein. He clasps to his heart as he begins to disappear. He laughs.

"Figures... I never thought I would be brought down by the container of the Fox Demon and a Keyblade wielder. Be that as it may, I surmise I ought to have seen it coming." He said. He then, at that point gazes at Sora and Naruto. He points at Sora.

"You might have thwarted my plans yet Xehanort will take control for Kingdom Hearts." Sora's glare never left as he inquired...

"Enough... What is Xehanort up as well?" He asked him. Pein said nothing rather he laughed while he blurs into haziness. Sora holds his clenched hand out of resentment. He then, at that point hears somebody clears his voice. He pivots to see Naruto scratching his head.

"Uhh... I guess we haven't been as properly introduced" He said. He then, at that point gives a goofy grin.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Sora bounced a little then he returns the smile and grasped Naruto's hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you, Naruto. I'm Sora." Suddenly a dark portal showed up and out came a man in an Organization coat who has a long ponytail as hair and wearing an eyepatch. He applauds wryly.

"Oh wow, very nice. Full remarks." He said. Donald and Goofy glared.

"Go away!", shouted Donald with his arms raised.

"No Organization!", shouted Goofy. Sora glared at the man with the eyepatch.

"You're Xigbar!" Sora said.

"All this altruism is giving me the warm and fuzzies." Xigbar grinned. "So then, does having a heart of light come with an extremely good insurance policy?"

"Just say what you mean!" Sora said in an annoyed tone.

"Oh, but I did, though," Xigbar responded. "No good will ever come from putting other people first."

"That's not true. I was willing to save this village because I will risk my own." Naruto countered.

"But only cause you got friends in high places. Tricks like that don't work for your average joe." Xigbar said. Naruto was about to punch him but was stopped by Sora.

"What do you know? I may not know Naruto but I can see in his heart that he has the courage and you would probably admire it." Sora said. Naruto was taken by surprise then nodded in agreement.

"I don't admire one guy leaping into danger if it means someone else might have to jump in to save him. You're all just lining up to lose out. Dooming others to take the fall with ya. Oh, and you can spare me the usual party line. Yes, hearts are powerful when they're connected. But if you put too much of that power in one place, some of those hearts might end up breaking." Xigbar then points at Sora.

"Still, Sora, that doesn't mean you should change. Accept the power you're given. Find the hearts joined to yours." Sora stared at Xigbar.

"Why would I ever take advice from you?" He asked making Xigbar scoff.

"As if! You don't have any choice but to follow this sweet little trail of breadcrumbs. And at the end, you'll finally realize what destiny has in store for you. In fact, your reward might be right around the corner. You're so close!" Xigbar said as he disappears into a portal. Sora looks down in confusion.

"Hearts breaking? Whose hearts?" Sora asked. Donald and Goofy looked at him in concern.

"Sora."

Sora sighed. "It's fine. I can take it."

"Gawrsh. It sure doesn't sound like it. Did Xigbar saying those mean things bother ya?", asked Goofy.

"It's fine! I can take it!" Sora shouted.

"You gotta get Stronger!" Donald exclaimed.

"We know you!" Goofy tried to encourage him. Sora groaned.

"Don't say that!"

"I just said what he said." Goofy said. Naruto chuckled then started to fall down but Sora caught him in time.

"Hey, don't move. You're hurt." Naruto groaned for a moment then he smiled.

"Th-hanks. If it weren't for you, I would have been toast." Sora chuckled.

"No, prob. After all, us heroes got to stick together."

"So, who were those guys we fought?" Naruto asked as Sora was taking him to the Village. Sora explains his story to Naruto. The blonde ninja was in awe of his story.

"And you need me to help you fight this Organization XIII?" But before Sora could answer his question, they hear a commotion coming towards them. They hear people cheering for them. It was an entire ocean of both shinobi and residents of the Hidden Leaf. Naruto's face was in disbelief. He is finally getting the respect he feels he deserves. His Sensei Kakashi Walked up to him. He started at him before he put his hand on Naruto's head.

"You've done well, Naruto... I'm very proud of you." Naruto was surprised than he sadly smiled. Kakashi turned to Sora and his friends.

"And you three... Thanks for your assistance. If it weren't for you three, We all could have fallen." Sora wrapped his head, causing Kakashi to silently gasp.

"Is it..." Suddenly Sakura walked towards Naruto. She clenches her fist.

"You're just so reckless, YOU IDIOT!" She punches his head. He then falls to her arms and much to his shock hugged him.

"Thank you..." She whispered. Sora looked at the hug and blushed because he is thinking of a certain redhead he knows. Sakura releases the hug then turns to Sora and hugs him.

"Thanks for saving him." She whispered. Sora was shocked but patted her back.

"You're welcome."

After Pein's defeat, Sora, Naruto, Donald, Goofy, and Sakura stand in front of the Hokage near her burnt building. Kakashi was standing on her right while Shizune was on her left.

"If you three didn't come in time, our village would have been covered in darkness, so for the bottom of my heart... thank you." Sora put his hands behind his head.

"It's no big deal. After all, it's what heroes do." He said. Shizune giggled.

"Now... let's get down to business here... you're a Keyblade bearer are you?" Sora, Naruto, Donald, Goofy's jaw dropped while Sakura widen her eyes. Kakashi looked at her in complete shock.

"H-how do you know about the Keyblade?" Sora asked. Tsunade closed her eyes and turned away while looking at an empty house.

"Because... one came here years ago. His name was Yen Sid. He, Xehanort and Eraqus came here and saved this village. Though, ten years ago, Yen Sid told me Eraqus was killed by Xehanort." Sora hands clenched by the mention of that name.

"Xehanort is now using other people and possessing them for them to become more like him. He's after Kingdom Hearts." Tsunade's eyes widen.

"I was sent here by Yen Sid because..." He looked at Naruto and Sakura for a moment. "We need Naruto and Sakura to help." Both ninjas looked at him in confusion.

"Yen Sid said in his vision that both Naruto and Sakura are in the vision we won. We need to bring them along." He said. Naruto and Sakura looked at each other with awe. They're part of a big battle? Tsuande taps her cheek then she nodded.

"Very well, Naruto, Sakura. I have a mission for you. Join Sora, Donald, and Goofy on their mission and make sure Xehanort doesn't complete his goal." Both Naruto and Sakura nodded in confirmation.

"Yes, mi-lady. We won't let you down." Tsunade smiled.

"I know you won't. All that training I gave you will finally pay off. I'm truly proud of you..." Sakura nodded then turned to Sora and Naruto.

"You guys ready to go?" She asked. Sora and the others nodded and they head to the gummi ship. Tsuande looks in great pride.

"Naruto... I used to think you were a foolish boy with impossible dreams but after seeing you save the village... maybe, just maybe you will be Hokage... I'm just so glad that you met Sora. I would tell you about your relation with each other but I feel you'll find out in due time. May your heart be your guiding key.

As you know this is a re-write of both KH3 and Legend of the Kyuubi. Sorry but I'm abandoning Vanitas awakening. I just feel like I should write this. I'm plan to write Sakura and Kairi going to different worlds. They might even meet their men in the worlds they're in. I plan to write chapter 2 soon. Let's just say that we'll learn more what Tsuande is talking about. Bye!
