Here it is, a new chapter since July! Thank you everyone for your patience.
It's time for the land based on Mickey's ToonTown at Disneyland. This is my favorite area at the park because I love how the architecture looks; a neighborhood in a silly and zany style. I also love the rides and the interiors inside the characters' homes.
The Carrot is this chapter's honored vegetable. The orange food that helps your eyes.

Chapter 10: Cartoon Carrot Center
Gil is now in 'Cartoon Carrot Center', the silly and zany land filled with carrots.
Buildings are constructed in a wavy, non-symmetrical method and painted with very vibrant colors.
The light poles are large carrots with light bulbs at the very top.
Fountains have carrot statues around, sprinkling out water into the fountain.
Gil sure is excited in the land he's standing in. Jumping his way to the first attraction.
"Crazy Cartoon Carrot Cars?" He reads the attraction's sign and then heads inside and looks around the interiors.
Posters showing carrots and their prices are everywhere. A mini mart with carrots displayed on its window. And there are carrot trees (imagine apple trees but with carrots instead).
Upon reaching the ride's car (a large, circular wagon painted in orange), Gil takes his seat and puts his hands on the steering wheel.
Behind the vehicle, the Little Fish push it very fast and turn it left-to-right.
"Woah! What's going on?!" Gil asks, suddenly surprised.
The ride has begun, the interiors have changed into a downtown setting at sunset. A shrimp dressed as a clown is losing control of his car as he spins constantly. "Holy cars! I'm gonna crash!"
The scene cuts to another shrimp spilling large amounts of carrot juice, which is why the clown's car is out of control.
Entering a kitchen, Mr. Grumpfish dressed as a bear is balancing on a bowling ball while holding boxes of carrots.
"Wow! This ride is bonkers!" Gil exclaims, still holding onto the wheel.
Now his vehicle enters a building that is stored with electricity with different kinds of lights surrounding the pathway.
"Uh, this is starting to get creepy."
Ahead of the ride; Captain Carlo, Captain Golbert, Harry, Queen Sandy, and Princess Demanda are connecting as many lights in the ride.
"And now the last one!" Harry declares.
"NO, DON'T! One more light and this place will-"
Captain Carlo's warning was too late-
BZZZ
ZAP
REEZZZ
Too many lights are connected and all the cables electrify the sea creatures!
KABOOM
BOOM
KABOOSH
Gil and the Little Fish, inside his car, weren't affected by those explosions. However, those loud effects made the car spin around and around, making Gil and the fish dizzy and seeing randomized visuals.
"Ooh, I see stars and swirls…" Gil's eyes go in circles.
The Little Fish also see visuals and one of them was almost gonna throw up.
Coming into the next scene of the ride, the car is in a factory filled with silly objects like jacks in the boxes, fireworks, and carrot pies. Yes, carrot pies, not carrot cakes.
After driving through a huge hole in the wall, Gil's car stops. Signifying the ride is over.
"I'm gonna need to sit down for a while." He says, still feeling dizzy as he makes his way.
"We should also relax, too." One of the Little Fish states for the rest.
Coming out of the hole, Carlo, Demanda, and the rest of the creatures in charge of the effects are burnt in shady gray.
"That was the worst!" Demanda exclaims.
"Ay, yes it was. But remember, we're doing this for Gil. This made-up park is his dream." Captain Golbert reasons with the princess.
"Yeah, we're doing it for him." Harry comments. "But I'm taking five right now."
"So am I." Sandy says.
"What food do we have in this park again?" Carlo asks.

After about ten minutes, Gil starts to feel better from all the dizziness. He gets up and heads towards a goofy-looking house.
Inside, Gil looks around the interiors. Shelves filled with carrot pies, carrot cakes, carrot cupcakes, and of course… carrots.
The furniture is in a zany style, not looking ordinary at all. Like wavy chairs, a huge pot of flowers bloomed in different directions, and a TV that's small at top and huge at bottom.
Arriving in the garage, a cartoon is playing on one of the walls. A big rabbit hops on the pathway… and it slips on a banana peel, falling on top of a carrot patch!
"The banana peel gag? That's the oldest trick in the book." Gil swims off, without a single chuckle after watching the cartoon.
"I told you he wouldn't find this funny." Oona, wearing a bunny costume, comes out of the squared hole in the wall, where the "cartoon" was playing.
Molly comes out of her hiding place, "Well, it was worth trying." She turned off the huge flashlight, which made the light look like it was from a projector.
Nonny grabs the cartoon's props. "I wouldn't say that, didn't you hear how Gil criticized the part with the banana peel?"
"Maybe what's outside in this area will excite him more." The leader of the guppies wonders.

Gil explores more of the crazy land of carrots. He sees a yellow mayor's office, a blue courthouse, a green hospital, and a red convenience store. All of those buildings, wackily (if that's a word) constructed.
He pulls on a door, numerous lights shine and a loud static noise occurs!
Gil pushes a "doorbell button" at an apartment building-
"Nobody's home!" A grumpy resident replies.
"Okay, fine!" He swims off.
Now he spots a huge weight on the ground. He tries picking it up but his hands leave the handle and he flies away, landing on a TNT box, pushing that handle.
KABOOM
He realizes he accidentally exploded one of the buildings, not wanting to look behind after what he heard!
"Oops…" He says before running off!
"I thought you said it was only a prop." Harry says to Sandy.
Indeed. Harry, Captain Carlo, Captain Golbert, Princess Demanda, and Queen Sandy were in that particular building. And now they are burnt once again.
The beach queen innocently shrugs. "I guess I forgot to unplug the dynamite's cable with this TNT box. My bad, everyone."
"I say we take five once more!" Captain Golbert proposes.

Exiting Cartoon Carrot Center, Gil looks up at the sky, now filled with stars.
"What else is there to end the best day ever? Well, whatever the case, I'm happy my dream came true."
Around 80% of the story… FINISHED!
That's right, we're coming close to the end of Veggie Land! A few more chapters and it's over.
The Crazy Cartoon Carrot Cars ride, which is a good use of alliteration, is based on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. Pretty glad I brought back some of the characters from the past chapters.
Gil exploring the cartoon-ish house is based specifically on Mickey's House. Except filled with carrots, instead of mouse-related decorations.
Gil doing all those activities across Cartoon Carrot Center is inspired by everything you can do at Mickey's ToonTown.
Next chapter won't really focus on Gil or any of the Bubble Guppies. It will be a side-chapter of what's been going on outside of Veggie Land. Is there someone who the gups and their friends should've notified for this park? If so, how will they react to Veggie Land? Answers will come next time.
