Back at the hospital, Billy decided it wise to scope out a private floor, which he'd overheard some nurse mention, for Stu with Kinsey before they left to go meet up with Sam back at the apartment.

"Okay, look, I'm not exactly the horror expert here, but I feel like there's something to be said about scoping out the empty hospital floor when there is a, possibly even two, killer or killers on the loose." Kinsey panicked, after scoping out a few of the rooms to no avail.

"No, you're not." Billy agreed. "...and I feel like I don't have to tell you how I know that this asshole could be bluffing about both him and Stu being back at the apartment, especially if he's trying to copy what we did, he probably knows the smartest move is to lure Sam back to the apartment while his little Lackey takes care of Stu."

Kinsey paused, looking at him with somewhat shock.

When Nat and Leslie pulled what they had, everything seemed to go down so fast, she wasn't exactly used to witnessing what Billy could be like under pressure.

"Are you saying that's what Stu was to you, when you were…."

He turned back to her, trying his best to keep his cool, in his growing irritation.

"...I'm saying you should've stopped at I'm not exactly the horror expert, now come on!"

They ended up doing another, more thorough look-around when the first walkthrough ended in no avail, with Billy eventually opting to finally take their mission back to Sam and Kinsey's apartment.

Just before they reached the elevators, they were startled by an abrupt run in with Mandy, who had her phone out and appeared to be trying to get ahold of someone.

She looked up and screamed when she realized that Billy was standing in front of her with his knife held out in front of him, as if in self defense, and positioned protectively in front of Kinsey, who was trying to make sense of the interaction.

"Jesus, you scared the shit out of me." Mandy blurted out. "What the hell are you even doing here?"

"I could ask you the same thing." Billy pointed out.

Mandy scoffed at the accusation. "Yeah, well I asked first, and quite frankly, you, pointing a knife at me, and with the shit that Colton's been digging up about you…" She pointed behind him. "..Plus the look on Kinsey's face? This is not a good look for you…..no offense."

"Oh, none taken." He scoffed, pointing the knife a little more closely toward her.

Kinsey took a step back, recalling some of the things that Seth had been saying about how at least one of the killers is probably particularly invested in what happened in the past, personal grievance or not….and how that had definitely been the case with Nat and Leslie.

"What are you doing here?" She asked hesitantly.

Mandy shook her head in exasperation. "I've been trying to get a decent signal here, to get ahold of Colton, the cell service here sucks ass…" She let out a sigh and then glanced around herself, briefly. "...and I wanted a place to come and smoke."

"Looked to me like you got ahold of him just fine, when I ran into you before, in the cafeteria." Billy reminded her, still not letting his guard down."

"Yeah, well, you said you weren't even listening to that."

"Well, I heard enough."

Before Mandy could even open her mouth to say another word to defend herself, Kinsey's eyes were widening as she watched the killer come up behind her.

"Mandy, watch out!" She shrieked.

Before she could even turn around much, the killer grabbed her and stabbed her right in the side, causing her to fall to the floor.

Laying on her stomach, as she began to push herself back up, she watched in horror as the killer then lunged towards Kinsey, but was stopped by Billy, who pinned 'em up against the wall, long enough to shout at Kinsey and Mandy to go.

"I got him, now, go! Hurry up!" He stabbed the killer in the side, stopping them from moving much more, as he held them in place.

Mandy, still clutching her wounded side, staggered up to her feet and grabbed Kinsey by the arm, thinking she'd run with her.

"Kinsey, he's got him. We have to go, now!"

Kinsey just shook her off. "I'm fine, just go. I'll be right behind you!"

Mandy looked into her eyes, seeing that she was serious, then looked back at Billy and the killer, before taking off ahead of her.

"KINSEY!" Billy shouted when she stayed in place.

"No, I can't- "

"GO, NOW!"

Kinsey stayed in place, looking back at him, not wanting to just leave him without doing anything.

"DO AS I SAY!" He hissed, moving his hands up to hold the killer in a chokehold.

Following the death glare he gave her, she took off running in the same direction Mandy had run, as previously promised.

After having been filled in on what was happening with Sam, and the phone call she had gotten, and all that, Mandy insisted on going with Kinsey to the apartment, refusing even the consideration of getting her own stab wound looked at.

Just as they were approaching the apartment, Mandy noticed that Colton appeared to be climbing down the fire escape from her apartment and ran ahead of her.

Kinsey, although slightly hesitant, followed close behind her.

"Colton, oh my God!" Mandy shouted, throwing herself into his arms and clutching onto him as he held her.

"There you are." He sighed in relief, as he comforted her. "What's going on? I climbed up the fire escape, to surprise you, but you weren't there, so I climbed back down, and when I did I heard the screaming coming from hers' and Sam's place!"

"When?!" Mandy panicked, looking up at the apartment building.

"Just right before you showed up, now is somebody gonna tell me what's going on?!" He demanded.

"Sam got a call from one of the killers at the hospital. He claimed to have one of her dads with him and that he was here, in our apartment, so. she came here and now...well, we're here." Kinsey explained in a panic.

"One of them?" He asked.

"Yeah." Mandy answered. "...there's two killers again. You were right."

"Alright, well, what are we waiting for? Get behind me!" He urged, nodding toward the front entrance for her and Kinsey to follow him.

Mandy walked right behind him, her hands gripping each of his shoulders as they walked, with Kinsey not far behind them.

Colton was still at the head of the group, when they arrived at Sam and Kinsey's door.

"Colton!" Kinsey called out to him, as she held her key up in the air.

He put his hand up to catch it, as she tossed it to him, and cautiously opened the door, leading them in.

Kinsey rushed in ahead of him and began calling out for Sam, scoping the place out as she did.

Mandy cautiously let go of Colton's shoulders, also going in ahead of him and taking a look around, for herself.

"Mr. Macher-Loomis?" She called out. "Mr.- "

But she was cut off by Kinsey's screams of horror, as she was yelling Sam's name, causing her to rush over.

"Sam!" Kinsey cried out, shaking her unconscious body. "Sam, wake up!"

"Is she okay?" Mandy asked.

"I don't know, I just found her like this." Kinsey cried. "Sam!"

Mandy grabbed her phone back out of her pocket. "I'm calling 9-1-1."

She began looking around again, as she unlocked it. "The killer must've just left."

"Or was just bluffing about someone being here, like Billy was saying." Kinsey suggested.

Mandy was just starting to dial 9-1-1, when the shock of what she found in the next room she was looking in made her drop the phone.

"Oh, fuck, that girl's dead!" She blurted out, only becoming even more horrified when she recognized her. "Oh, God."

"What?!" Colton demanded, rushing over to her.

She turned to face him, grabbing onto him again, to sob into his shoulder.

"It's Jess." She choked out. "It's Jess, I'm so sorry."

"Ohh, Mandy…" He said in that soft, reassuring tone she'd grown to know. "...don't be…."

Meanwhile, Kinsey, who was still holding onto Sam, looked up only when she heard a sudden thump against the nearby closet door….and what sounded like muffled yelling.

It was then, when the horrifying memory that her mind was now drawing up, that she came to another horrifying realization….

"...or surprise number two just might reveal itself." Leslie Maddox's smug words played back in her mind

"Mandy!"

But before Mandy, whose head shot towards the sudden shout of her name, could even start to piece together the danger she was in, Colton was taking his knife out and ramming into her side….right where she'd been stabbed before.

"..cause I'm not…" He whispered coldly, finishing his previous sentence.

"Colton." She choked out in shock, still clinging onto him in her attempt to keep from falling to the floor.

A cold, increasingly amused smirk spread across his face as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a voice modulator, which he then lifted up to speak into, as he clicked the button on it.

"Surprised?" He chuckled. "...guess you should've listened to your little bestie, now shouldn't you have?" He shook her off of him with a rough jerk of the arm she was clinging to, throwing her down too the floor beneath him.

As Mandy, who was now desperately looking up at him, laid there speechless, Sam was just starting to come to in Kinsey's arms.

More horrified than actually shocked when her mind finally processed what was happening, Sam practically shot up, only stopping at Kinsey holding her back.

Colton, almost perfectly on cue, looked back at her and shot her a smirk.

"Well, well, well. Look who's finally awake."

"I'm not gonna ask you again, Colton." She growled, presuming he was the one who was taunting her over the phone. "Where is my dad?"

"God, you are such a daddy's girl." He chuckled, walking over to her until he was close enough to almost touch his knife to her face. ….and like I told you before…"

He tapped his knife up and down as he spoke. "All. In. Due. Time." He chuckled proudly.

Before Sam could say anything else, there was a sharp, abrupt pattern of knocks at the door, startling all but Mandy, who was still clearly in shock.

"It's about fucking time." Colton muttered under his breath, walking over to the door and turning to give another smirk before he opened it. "That'll be surprise number two…."

When the door was practically swung open, Billy was standing in its doorway with his mouth taped shut and a knife at his back that was being held by the masked killer who was standing behind him.

"Took you long enough." Colton scoffed.

Sam's previously horrified expression shifted to one of more disbelief, which soon triggered a glare when she realized who had to be behind this mask.

The masked person in question took off the mask to reveal that it was, indeed, Cory behind it.

"And whose fault was that?!" She retorted. "You told me he was the easy one."

"Yeah, well, I say a lot of things." He boasted with a chuckle. "Isn't that right, Mand?"

Mandy, of course, wouldn't humor that with a response.

"Right, well, it's not like I didn't get anything out of it…" Cory smirked, as she gripped the back of Billy's flannel shirt collar and reached up to speak in his ear, and you could see from the look in his eyes, the rage that was building behind them, as she did.

"..that little chokehold you put me in is well ingrained in my brain now." She reached up to cup his chin in her hand, when she came around to the front of him. "...Stu's a lucky guy…"

He huffed angrily as he shook his head, abruptly, away from her grip…..about all he could do, given that his hands were also tied behind his back.

"Ooh, you are feisty, aren't you?"

"...aaand now I'm gonna have nightmares tonight…" Colton sighed. "...after I get finished puking. Thanks, Cory."

"Oh, bite my entire ass, Colton. You got to have your fun with Mandy, now it's my turn."

Colton sighed in his growing agitation. "Just get him on the floor…..just...him." He growled the last part.

She made a talking/mocking gesture with her hand, just before turning back to Billy to rip the tape off his mouth, causing him to yell in pain from how roughly it was ripped.

"Whoops." She snickered. "I did tell you I was rough though." She pointed down, toward where Sam and Kinsey were, with her knife. "..now go sit with your daughter, and play nicely, and I might just think of cutting the rope too."

She practically threw him toward them, but this time he went with little protest.

Colton watched with just a little too much amusement as he went.

"Juuuuust like your ass depended on it." He chuckled, following him with his eyes, before looking back at Sam, who he pointed his knife at now. "...or, you know, your daughter's, for that matter."

Billy started to stand up and lunge for him, til Colton pulled out a gun he'd been hiding up til now.

"Ah, d-d-d!" He warned. "What'd I just say?" He held his glare toward him while he pointed the gun toward Sam, till he sat back down. "...that's a good boy.

"I'll say…." Cory added with a smirk, folding her arms in front of her.

Colton rolled his eyes. "Just come help me get the other surprises out of the closet, would you?" He sighed.

"With pleasure." She agreed with a smirk, winking at Billy before she turned to follow her brother.

"Surprises…PLURAL?" Sam thought to herself, looking over at Billy, who was looking back at her sympathetically.

They both watched as Cory pulled Seth out of the closet and Colton pulled out Stu, who was struggling against his grip even more than Billy had been.

Colton took the gun and practically shoved it to the back of Stu's head.

"Alright! That's ENOUGH!" He ordered, triggering a muffled groan from Stu, as his desperate eyes shot over and met Billy's, who was returning the look with a more sympathetic look that was also signaling, "Just do what he says, I'm coming up with a plan."

After Cory had thrown Seth down, who landed on his knees next to Stu, Colton came back over to Stu and ripped the tape off his mouth, earning a pained yelp from him, and then did the same for Seth.

"...Why?" Mandy finally managed, sniffling through her sobs. "..WHY, Colton?!

He chuckled, walking back over to her, the gun still held in front of him.

"Sweetie...you should know better than anyone here, I mean, I literally spelled it out for you!" He chuckled again. "I said that it was probably two killers again, which, credit where credit is due, you do get points for remembering that and giving me the credit, back there…." Referring to her earlier comment. "Two killers, at least one of them is probably particularly invested in what happened back in 96, which brings us to our next big giveaway….the killer, or killers, probably have some grievance from what happened in the past…"

"Bout the only thing you did manage to keep from her is our real name."

Colton fake gasped at the realization, pointing his knife toward Cory.

"That's right, I did, didn't I?"

Another, devious, smirk crept across Cory's face, as she reveled in the delight that this was bringing her brother.

"...Matter of fact, I'll let father of the year one and two.." He pointed his knife at Billy then at Stu. "...take a wild guess at what Sear is actually a stand in for."

He looked back over to Stu, then back at Billy then took a look around the room.

"No? He asked, coming back over to Billy, needling dawn to his level, then waving his knife in his face, while Billy just glared back at him.

"...Well, I'll tell ya then." He continued with a smirk, as he stood back up.

"Does the name, Cotton Weary mean anything to anyone? Hmm?!"

"...Of course…" Sam scoffed, glancing between him and Cory. "You're his kids."

Colton pointed his knife toward her. "Bingo, Sammy!" He smirked again. "See, I knew you'd put it all together, sooner or later, one way or another." He pointed his knife at her again, but addressed everyone else this time. "See, while Daddy and Daddy's little princess…" he hissed the word. "Was out making memories, Friday night trips to the video store and all that, little five year old Colton got to watch his daddy get dragged away in handcuffs…" He was walking around the room while he talked, stopping when he got to Stu, and pointed the knife in his face now. "...for a crime he never committed…..the murder...of Maureen Prescott. The catalyst for every other innocent death these two caused, WASN'T IT?!"

Mandy, who he was standing right in front of again, jumped back at the sudden shouting, while Sam was shooting some looks between her dads.

Colton came back over to her, kneeling back down to her level again.

"Do you know….what something like that does to a kid, Sam? Hmm?!" He pointed his knife a little closer to her face. "Actually seeing your dad dragged away for a crime he didn't commit? And that's on top of all the whispers and the stares, and the oh those poor kids, of course. Something, you of all people should understand all too well by now, don't you?"

"So, what is it you want then, Colton?" She retorted. "You know, butchering everyone that you two did isn't going to bring him back."

"Well, I'm so glad you asked, Sam." He boasted, ignoring her other remark. "That is exactly why everything will be traced back to you."

"Me?" Sam scoffed.

"Yes, you, who else but you?! Think of it!" He stood back up, still pointing the knife at her. "...Dani comes by your work to confront you for the way you handled her sister, like she did, so you decided to take care of her. Took care of her boyfriend too, of course...then, sometime later, Jax stops by your work to snitch on what I've been saying about your little lap dog over there…" He pointed the knife back toward Seth. "...which raises the perfect opportunity to come and confront me, so that I'm the one who looks suspicious when your little girlfriend gets attacked, conveniently right after. Seth, your little partner in all this, of course, goes to attack Kinsey, meanwhile you can still be the one to taunt her over the phone, much like I did while Cory attacked her and that little mutt of yours…" He turned back to Cory. "Which you were supposed to do away with, by the way! That was going to stabilize our cover!"

"Well, you know what they say…" She scoffed. "You want something done right, fucking do it yourself! Besides, I think the slash to your tires accomplished that just as well. You're welcome for that, by the way."

"ANYWAY…" Colton scoffed, shaking his head. "...to add to your cover, of course, now Mandy's nice enough to tell you I'm supposed to come over…...perfect time to carve her little roomie up like a goddamned turkey, isn't it?"

An even more pained expression took over Mandy's face, at the way he was talking about Jax.

"...and finally, Mia…." He chuckled. "...poor, sweet Mia…God, now her, I'd almost feel sorry for, if I wasn't so goddamned distracted by the number you did on me, I mean, JESUS!" He lifted his shirt to show off his scars.

"Oh, quit your whining, already, Colton! At least it helps our cover!"

"Yeah, but at what cost." He scoffed, tossing the edge of his shirt back down.

"Anyway…" Cory chuckled. "Speaking of a good cover…" She walked over to where Seth was, now, coming up behind him and patting him on the shoulders. "...thanks to you, and the shit you've gotten yourself into online, you'll be the easiest one to frame, won't you?"

Seth just whipped his head around and glared at her.

Cory just smirked and walked back over to where Colton was standing.

"...Sam and Seth get locked away for something they didn't do…" Colton boasted as he continued, walking back over to Stu and glancing between him and Billy. "...leaving you two to go on living, knowing that your precious little girl is rotting away for something she didn't do…...just lie we got to." He chuckled. "Pretty airtight, don't you think?"

"...and what about Jess?" Kinsey asked, nodding toward the room that Mandy had found her in.

Colton raised eyebrows at that. "Ahh, yes, of course. Thank you, Kins, how could I forget?"

Sam shot him another glare, for the use of Kinsey's nickname.

"Now, what better way to frame me than to also kill my own, personal research girl and frame her as my partner?"

"You've really got this all figured out, don't you?" Mandy finally said.

He chuckled at that, coming back over to her and kneeling down to her level.

"To a fuckin T." He boasted. "...I can't be talking any chances, now can I?"

Meanwhile, while was distracted, and Cory had her eyes on the interaction as well, Sam turned to Kinsey, having come to a new realization in how she might be able to get them out of here when Kinsey had spoken up.

"Quick, give me that pocket knife I gave you at the hospital. I have an idea."

"An idea? What idea?!" Kinsey whispered, earning an eye roll from Billy, which neither of them seemed to notice.

"Just trust me." She motioned her hand for her to hand it to her, to which Kinsey finally obliged.

She looked back up, making sure the pocket knife was still out of sight and that Colton and Cory were still distracted enough, as she crawled over and sat herself behind Billy, to start cutting away at the rope that tied his hands together.

"Now, just follow my lead." She whispered when she finished."
