"Okay let's get started." Kazuma says to them as he throws his backpack on the ground.
Max and Rico watched as Kazuma began to take out several things that didn't look right, a ball of wire, some rope, crushed sheets of paper that had been rolled into balls, and a lighter.
The two of them looked at each other and they silently agreed that Kazuma might be up to no good.
"Take out your skill cards so I can explain everything to you.' Kazuma orders them.
"Just to be sure you aren't planning to start any fires," Rico asks Kazuma who immediately nods.
"First of all let me make this clear, these things are nothing more than a License. In the other world, everyone could use magic and a person just had to go fight monsters, so they could call themselves an adventurer."
Kazuma exhales and looks at the sky as he remembers all of the amazing things that he saw in that other world and while they were fantastical, he couldn't ignore that this world had its wonders.
If he had to describe both worlds he would say that they both had their problems and their wonders, people from Eris world would be surprised by how many Humans lived in this world, while the people from this world would be surprised to see that magic exists in that world.
He looked down and saw that Max and Rico were staring at him so he pulled himself away from his thought and went back to explaining how the skill cards worked.
While he didn't know what changes the goddesses had made to them, if they had done any at all, he did know the cards worked in their most basic form.
"What I'm trying to say is, that yes you will be able to use magic, but you won't be anything better than what you are now." he says to them.
"So does that mean that I can never be like my cousin who gets to go and see?" Max asks him, but he stops talking when he sees Kazuma shaking his head.
"To be honest with you Max I hope you never do, because the people of this world love being the ones at the top. Your family hid this from you, and they were your family."
"Imagine what other people would do to you if they found out that you suddenly gained the ability to do what they can do." Kazuma says to Max who looks at him with a combination of defeat and regret.
"So why are we here?" Rico asks Kazuma.
"So that you guys can learn outside of the box. Those cards have every skill that I learned so the two of you can already use them.
I don't have to teach you how to use those skills, because you already know how to use them."
Kazuma says to them as he picks up one of the balls of paper and throws it at Max who doesn't bother to dodge it.
"We have until the sun goes down before the game starts and the two of you need to learn how not to rely on those skills of yours." he says to them as he grabs the wire and throws it at Rico who lifts his hand and catches the wire with it.
"What are you talking about how can we rely on something that we never had?" Rico asks him.
"How did the two of you know that neither of those things were dangerous?" Kazuma asks Rico and Max as he sends a pulse into the piece of paper and wire.
Max and Rico feel something force their bodies to move on their own as the Mx runs away from the piece of paper and Rico throws the wire back at Kazuma.
"And why are you running away?" Kazuma asks them.
For a long moment neither Rico nor Max said anything they just looked at each other, then they looked at their hands and finally, they both turned to look at Kazuma who was waiting for them to calm down.
Kazuma watched as the two returned to their spots and when they were both in the same spot that they were before he began to talk again.
'Your bodies are different from before, and to be honest, I don't know if either of you can ever go back to not having magic. Maybe you will maybe you won't that's for the goddesses to decide." he says to them.
"Now let's try this again." Kazuma says to them as he picks up the rope and throws it at Max who immediately dodges it, not because he sensed any danger, but because he knew that Kazuma could make the rope do something even if he hadn't seen Kazuma do anything yet.
"Wrong move man." Kazuma says to Max as the rope comes to life and wraps itself around Rico.
The three of them passed the rest of the day trying to control their senses as Kazuma tried to get Rico and Max to understand how to sense the world around them.
This was the very basics of the skill cars and what he learned after defeating the Demon King and while it wasn't anything impressive it was something that helped him learn to control his skills better.
If he had to compare it to anything, he would compare it to learning how to walk.
Everyone eventually learns how to walk, but there are ways to walk, some ways help a person look elegant, others make a person look as if they were gliding, while others make it nearly impossible to lose balance.
This is what he was trying to teach Max and Rico so that they didn't lose themselves in this game and ruin their lives because of it.
[][]
1; Master and Champion; The only difference is that a Master has a Heroric Spirit fighting for them and a Champion is fighting on his own.
2; Skill Cards; The skill Cards are something that shouldn't be able to exist but do, because of how they were created before nothing. They allow a person\ champion to copy any skill- power or technique that a champion sees.
While it is easier for a champion] person to learn the skills- powers, and technikes if someone teaches them, nothing is stopping them from learning them, because they learned how they work.
{For example, Kazuma was never taught how to use the Explosion skill. He learned the spell after learning the words from Megumin.]
3; The room; The room is nothing more than a small space created in a dimension that existed before everything and nothing and as such the room can access any reality regardless of whether they are connected to the one a person comes from or not.
As such a person can reach any Multiverse that they desire by using the room, and they will always have a way of returning to their original dimension without fear of ever getting lost.

4; Challengers; Please keep in mind that the competitors can be challenged for their skill cards and as such are at risk of losing them.
The Champions cannot refuse the challenge but they can choose to accept it later.
the reason is that they might be doing something important and accepting the challenge would cause more problems for them, as such they wouldn't be able to fight at their best.
5; Complaints; a Champion- Hero- or Challenger can file a complaint before- during and after a fight.
The complaints will be looked into and can be used to nullify a victory or they can be ignored if the complaint is found to be pointless.
