(Meanwhile, at the bad guys' base...)

The Terrorist's boss was furious at the news that had just reached him.

"How can it be?!" he shouted in anger at the chief scientist, "Have they killed my son and the other Hybrids I sent?"

"Yes…" the scientist responded, very nervous.

"The projects you have given me are just garbage…" he exclaimed hatefully, slapping the scientist, "I don't know why I allow you to stay alive…"

"The... the Hybrids were able to confront the chosen ones..." the scientist defended himself, "It's just that the children have acquired more powers... let me show you."

The scientist typed on the computer, displaying the battles fought by the chosen poke. Focusing in more detail, he showed the emblems these carried.

"According to ancient rune research, each of these symbols has a meaning," he explained, "The kids who defeated your son are of courage and trust. Those of the other kids are of friendship, purity and wisdom. Our research also reveals that there are 2 more: love and sincerity. If we manage to steal an emblem before they master their powers, I'm sure I can use their data to finish the final project faster."

"Well then it's time to send heavyweights against one of them..." ordered the boss, "Send the Hybrid Rhyperior against the Nidoran and if it fails to defeat it... then you will be one step closer to your grave…"

The boss's eyes turned red and his aura was filled with darkness: something was hidden inside him.

"Yes…yes sir…"

(Besides...)

Mina (in her Nidorina's form) was crossing a semi-arid wasteland, which was vaguely covered by some green pieces of land, there were some bushes yes, but what looked like rose bushes were almost withered, with the hope that one day A miraculous light arrives to revive them. As she walked, she stopped from time to time to look at the emblem that had been hers.

"You need to express that feeling of appreciation that she gives to you, even if you don't realize it…" Xerneas' words were repeated.

"Feeling of appreciation…" she said, feeling annoyed by the emblem she had received, "Why did I have to get this one? It's not fair..."

As she said that, she remembered the arguments she had had with her mother. For example, she remembered that time she wanted to participate in a school girls' soccer championship and her mother denied her because she needed her help in the beauty salon (although she later saw that it was not necessary since the other stylists were perfectly occupying the positions) and also, because, in a previous match, she had hurt her leg a little (for Mina, it didn't hurt enough to stop her). For that reason and others, the mother-daughter relationship that she had with her mother was not the 'best'.

"I should stop thinking about that…" she said to herself, "I should focus on looking for that key."

She had reached a part where, on the ground, there were stones of considerable size. At this distance, the mountains were only a kilometer away. However, she had already arrived at the place she was looking for: there was an area of land mostly covered with lush green grass, with patches of dirt and bushes dotting the landscape. The land was strewn with pale gray-brown rocks and trees.

Likewise, there were Pokemon on that terrain: entire families of Nidoqueen, Nidoking and their pre-evolutions walked around the terrain like elephants in an African meadow. Luckily, no one said anything about the newcomer.

As she continued to examine the place, something caught her attention: several Nidoran (female and male) were playing something similar to Football Soccer, with the difference that the ball was made of grass but it still had its shape. While it was a crazy idea, this perfect ball held its shape instead of falling apart.

"I guess I'm in the right place," she thought, refocusing on her mission, "Now, I must find that key. Maybe I should ask someone…"

Suddenly, the ball her which little ones were playing with rolled towards her and she, out of a player's instinct, caught it with one paw. Immediately afterwards, a Nidoran came for her.

"Good afternoon, miss…" she said, "Can you give me the ball back?"

"Yes," she replied, "Catch it!"

Mina lifted the ball with one paw and, with a nod, gave her the grass ball.

"Woah, you are very good" the child responded, amazed, "My name is Jin, could you teach us some movements? Please"

"Well, I…"

"Yes, please," said another kid Nidoran. And then the others asked her too.

While Mina wanted to focus on her mission, the innocent looks of the little Nidorans were too convincing (like innocent human children trick-or-treating) for her to say 'no'. With no other alternative, she started playing with them.

"Ok, catch it!" Mina shouted, doing a head-butt pass.

"Here it go," another Nidoran returned it.

They spent at least 5 minutes playing until a small accident occurred: one of the male Nidoran was showing off a couple of headers with the ball until he threw it to Jin. She narrowly missed him, but she didn't realize until she was near the bottom of a hill.

"Watch out, Jin!" Mina shouted.

However, Jin slipped and started rolling down the hill. Mina, without thinking twice, jumped after her. Meanwhile, the Nidoran had fallen near a tree, but to her misfortune, she fell on top of a Pokemon: a Larvitar, and this one looked like a hatchling that was only a few days old.

"Sorry…" Jin started ti said, but it was too late:

"Mom!" shouted little Larvitar.

Immediately, a movement made the earth shake: next to the Larvitar, a huge stone began to move and rise. Unfortunately, this was not a rock, but a huge, angry Tyranitar.

"What are you doing here?!" she roared, heading towards the Nidoran, "Why are you bothering my baby?!"

"No, I didn't mean to…"

It seemed like she wouldn't listen to reason, but Mina came right behind her, holding her Pokephone.

"Time to Ultra evolve!" she shouted, "Nidorina Ultra Evolves to… Nidoqueen!"

Mina evolved into her Ultra form, and stood between Jin and the Tyranitar. Upon seeing her, the Tyranitar roared and attacked her with a Focus Punch to which she responded with the same. Both blows collided forcefully, releasing a burst of air upon contact. Because of this, a branch of the nearby tree broke and was going to crush the Larvitar.

"No!" said Larvitar's Mother.

"Headbutt!" attacked Jin to the falling branch.

Jin was still a kid, but she was strong enough to destroy that branch hit her head. Unfortunately, she had injured herself in the process because her head was not as solid as that of an adult. Faced with such an act, the Larvitar stopped crying, while the Tyranitar calmed down and stopped the fight to attend to her baby.

"Thank you, thank you very much…" she said to Jin, "You saved my little one. "I'm sorry I misjudged you."

"You're welcome, Lady Tyranitar," Jin replied. However, she felt pain in her head.

"Jin, don't worry, I'll take you to heal," Mina told her, picking her up.

"Jin!" another voice shouted. This was from another Nidoqueen, who arrived desperately looking for her daughter. Seeing her daughter, she was scared for a moment and then scolded her, "You got hurt again, right? Sorry for the inconvenience, ladies, I'll take my daughter."

"No problem, she saved my little one," the Tyranitar told her, "But now you should help her, she has hurt her head."

"Mom, can Miss Mina come? Please," Jin begged, "She helped me."

Jin's mother looked at Mina, she could see that she had a good heart, so she responded.

"OK. Come with us"
