Naruto stopped practicing these forms and breathing as the sun started to rise. A really great thing about all of this boost and power right after a war was that he didn't need to sleep much. Should he sleep more, probably, but the lack of sleep didn't affect him so he counted that as a win. Swoosh, clunk was the sound of his kuni hitting a tree as a shaken older man stumbled out of the brush.

"You could have killed me young man." The man spoke quickly.

"You shouldn't have snuck up on me. What are you doing out here?" Naruto accused and questioned.

"The better question is what are you doing out here. You can't be any older than five and war is coming to this land soon." The man informed him, ignoring his accusation.

"War?"

"Yes, the hundred year war will come this way to take Ba Sing Se soon. A child like yourself shouldn't be left alone." The man tried to usher him along, but Naruto stood firm.

"I'm not going anywhere, this is my home." For the past three days. Naruto added in his head

The man stared at him before realizing that this crazy child wasn't worth his life and continued on his journey. The man ran past him and towards the west as Naruto started the way the man had come.

"More war." sighed Kurama in his head as Naruto walked, "For calling us monsters, your kind really likes to kill itself." Naruto didn't respond. He didn't have too; Kurama had understood that he knew more than anyone else what people would be willing to do to get power.

As the sun hit its midday peak Naruto stumbled upon the end of the forest and the start of some planes that stretched on until it hit a wall that he could see from miles away. KNowing that had to be his destination, Naruto put half his power into his legs and made the sixty mile trip in about two minutes. He slowed to a normal walking speed as he got close enough to the wall to be noticed by the guards and slowly walked up to the guards.

As soon as he got into eye sight, "Halt." The guards walked up to him and looked around him and his surroundings.

"You got anyone with you child?"

"No sire, my family got attacked on the way here and we got separated. I haven't a clue if they are alive or not and I'm scared and hungry and I want to go home." He started to cry to add to the effect and just as expected the guard freaked out not knowing what to do with a crying child.

"Jeff, you idiot stop scaring the poor boy, it's not like he's dangerous." A female guard came up from behind and knelt down at his height. "So you're all alone hun?" Naruto gave her a shy nod and an extra sniffle to sell the act. "Why don't I bring you inside so we can get some food and new clothes?" Naruto looked down and saw that his clothes had been torn from all the training he had been doing and nodded to the woman. "Jeff you stay here, the next change should be here in no more than three minutes. I think you can handle that?" She added a glare at the end and started to walk off before the man could respond.

She took him in through the gate and onto a weird looking wagon. He sat down with her and was spooked when the thing started to move on its own. Looking out the window he could tell that it was the men on top making it move, but how.

"Never been on a monorail? It's not that scary. The men above us use their bending to move the cart into the next part of the city. Everyone has a stop and everyone has their place." She leaned in close and whispered into his ear. "We aren't allowed to talk about the war in the city. In fact the only reason I even know about the war is because I'm a guard, so don't mention it or you will disappear or change."

First village I enter and something weird is happening, just my luck. Naruto thought as he looked out the window and listened to the Buji laughing at his misery.

"At least this means you won't be bored. Got to find a library or something and read up in this world and bending. If we want to fit in, that would be the place to start. Then we can focus on the weird things happening in this town." Chomei tried to cheer him up. Naruto gave a mental nod and focused back into his surroundings. The woman was starting to stand up and many of the people that had been on the monorail were gone.

"We are almost to our stop. The guards have houses in the inner circle of Ba Sing Se, so you will be able to see the rich area of this city." Naruto nodded and stood next to her as the doors opened and they walked off. As he walked through the streets Naruto could only stare. It had been a long time since he had been able to see a city in action without the fear of war and death hanging over their heads. It was a magnificent sight to behold. Every once and a while someone would stop and stare at him and it wasn't too hard to figure out why. Everyone in the city had darker colored hair and eyes, while he had bright blond and sky blue. The fact that he had a guard walking him around didn't help either.

"Alright, this is our first stop. Let's get you some new clothes." They walked into the store and Naruto was floored; everywhere he looked there were clothes with green or brown and accents of gold or silver. "You go pick out some clothes that fit and look good, I'll go talk to the owner."

Naruto walked around in circles before deciding on a long sleeved green shirt with silver accents with some brown pants. He picked some shoes that looked a lot like his combate shoes he had now and walked back up to the woman with a couple pairs of each.

"You women are all the same, you keep taking in strays. If it were up to me I would make you all make children not find them." The old sleazy looking owner spoke as Naruto turned the corner.

"Oh, child you found your clothes, let's pay and get out." The female that had helped him spoke quickly as she shied away from the owner. Naruto narrowed his eyes as he approached and quickly gave her his clothes. They paid and left, but Naruto had noticed that the geezer's eyes followed the woman's butt the entire way out the door. "Dam old Mr. Muck. Can't keep his mouth shut or his eyes up." She whipped around to look at him and gave him a small smile, "Sorry I forgot you were there, child." She paused. "What is your name? I can't just keep calling you child, or kid."

Naruto hesitated before answering with the truth, "My name is Naruto."

"Naruto. Okay so Naruto what do you like to eat. We have all kinds of food here."

"Do you have ramen?" He might have been in a different world, with a smaller body, and no friends, but he was going to get his ramen dammit.

"Yes we do." With that she led him to the ramen stand and let him order what he wanted. In order not to stand out even more and be polite he only ordered two bowls before being finished."

"Thank you Ms. Guard, I would have been stuck without you."

She smiled back at him as they walked down the street and to her house, "No problem Naruto, but you can call me Ava." They walked in silence until they reached her house where she showed him his room and around the place before saying good night and heading off to bed.

Naruto waited until he heard her breath even out before making a clone and having it stay in the house before transforming himself into a fly and leaving through a cracked window. He turned back into himself in an alleyway and made twenty clones. "Spread out and find a library or anything suspicious. Once you find something, dispel so I know where to go." With a nod they all transformed into a middle aged woman and headed down the street. As he walked a wrinkled hand grabbed his and he tugged to make it let go.

"Why don't we have some fun." Mr. Muck spoke as he dragged him into an alleyway. Naruto fought as the man tried to strip him of his shirt and kicked him in the chest, sending him flying half way down the alley way before he rolled to a stop.

"You just made your last mistake." Naruto spoke as he raised his hand and made all the air inside of Mr. Muck's lungs compress until they popped. "This is for Ava and all the other girls you harass you ass." As he died Naruto patted his body down and found an id and the lock to his store. Naruto put his body into a scroll before burning it and leaving the ash to float away in the wind. He made his way back into the store and unlocked it before letting himself in. He walked into the upstairs living area to look around in his stuff. He found a half finished will and quickly wrote that his son was to take over the business after his death. Naruto then used a genjutsu on a piece of paper to make it into a photo of the old man a bit younger and his son, who looked like the old man with a few differences that he must have gotten from his mother.

Making another clone he sent it out of the city with a piece of paper and a fake id for the name Jeff Muck, Mr. Muck's fake son. Just as he finished a clone popped and his head was filled with they directions to the royal library. Before he could head that way another clone popped and he got the direction to a secret underground bunker that was accessible by a slab of rock below a lake. He would need to know how to bend before he could get in and he made up his mind.

The next morning the announcement that Mr. Muck had gone missing, much to the relief of the female population. The next day a man showed up to Ba Sing Se claiming to have gotten a letter from his father that he would like to see him and try to make up for all the damage he had caused the young man. He was led into the city and informed of his father's passing and will. Just like that Jeff found himself in charge of the clothing store and with a lot more money. The female population of the city had been wary of him before a young child with golden yellow hair had approached the man and asked about his father.

"I know you shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but the only good thing that man ever did was run a business. He was no father and an even worse human being. That was why my mother left him and why I did as soon as I was able. I just hope to make up for the trouble he has caused to this city."

After that conversation no woman was afraid of him and they would approach him in the street and greet him in the morning. He was respectful and funny and had most of the women trying to get into his pants, which was ironic considering his father. Every time he politely declined and showed them the door or an item of clothing he thought they might like. This continued until the girls realized they wouldn't get anywhere with him and stopped trying, to his relief. Another thing that had changed was that Jeff had added a blacksmith area to his store where he made high quality weapons of any and every kind. They even did armor and shields and many of the guards went to him for repairs and new gear. His business was booming and if the yellow hair boy visited a lot no one said a thing.

It had been a couple months since Jeff had come to town and Naruto was really happy with how that had turned out for him. He had the tools he needed to make weapons, armor, and anything else he might need to be able to help in the upcoming war. Having just been in one he could sense another battle was upon him and that it was going to be a bloody one if nothing was done. So Naruto had been reading and training, with the help of clones of course, and had been able to get all of his abilities to the point in which he was able to use them all without speaking a word. He had found out some interesting things in training his powers; one of which was that he could bend metal. He had been trying to get his wind to turn an off point kuni and had instead bent the tip backwards in on itself. This had baffled him, but he continued to experiment and found that he was focused enough he could make the metal hit wear he wanted without even having to throw the weapons.

Another thing he found was that this world had a 'hero' called the avatar who was supposed to be the world's savior and keeper of peace, but no one had seen them at all since the death of the last one. Many speculated that the cycle had died when the air benders had been slaughtered, for the avatar would have been too young to defend themselves from the attack and perished. People thought that this young age caused the cycle to stop and in doing so the avatar had completely died. Knowing that if he was ever caught using all of his powers he would be assumed to be the avatar he trained only at night and outside the city's border, but now he was ready to take on the secret base his clone had seen his first night here.

He was dressed in non-reflective black metal armor and he was loaded from head to toe in weapons. He wanted to see if he could take on this completely without bending to test his abilities. Hopefully he would be able to find out what they were doing down there, because he had a feeling that it was the reason so many people were acting weird and going missing. Slowly in the dead of night he approached the lake his clone had seen. Using his Byakugan he was able to see all of the people that were under the ground and there were a lot. He doubted all of them worked in this place and he was briefly reminded of Orochimaro's hidden layers.

Slowly he had the earth around him move and shift until it acted as a short of elevator bringing him down into the layer without him having to use the front door. He slipped out of the wall and into the shadows in an empty corridor and made his way to where the most signatures were. Most of them hadn't moved and he could smell the stink as he got closer. Turning the corner he froze at the horrible sight he was witnessing. There were people everywhere and all of them were small or skin and bones.

"What is the fire nation planning?" Yelled a guard from down the hall and Naruto sprinted off to see what was happening without making a sound.

"I told you I don't know. My family and I all left before the fire nation took over the coast. I don't know what the fire nation is planning!" The man screamed out as the guard turned torturer looked on with no emotion.

"I see." without another word the guard started to beat up on the man as he screamed and pleaded for his life. Regretfully Naruto moved on through the shadows and left the man to be tortured. He couldn't risk alerting anyone that he was here.

After passing a few more holding cells and an entire brain washing area he came across a library filled with forbidden knowledge and motives. The text in the compound spanned hundreds of years and spoke of thousands of people and their abilities. Naruto made a dozen clones to stay and read everything in the library while he moved on to find the main office of the establishment. He didn't need to trek much longer before he entered a medium sized room filled with candles for light and official looking documents spread all over. He made two more clones silently and they got to work reading all of the forbidden information.

Naruto started at the desk that was overflowing with papers and ideas. There were blueprints of how the brainwashing machines he had seen being used worked and a map of the catacombs this place created. As he was halfway through the pile one of his clones called for his attention and he quickly made his way over.

"Whoever runs this place is keeping the king in the dark about the war outside of the walls and using him as a puppet to get their way." The clone explained quickly as Naruto read what his clone had.

"Make a clone of anything you find important or incriminating and seal the real ones in a scroll. We are going to get these people out of here and do it silently so the main boss doesn't go into hiding. I'll stay here with a couple of earth clones and take down the guards to this place while you and a few others deliver the evidence and capture the trader once we find out who the trader is." The clone nodded and continued to read through documents as Naruto returned to the desk. A half an hour passed before Naruto heard someone coming down the hall. Quickly he replaced everything he had been looking at with a copy before he stuck to the ceiling while using an iguana jutsu to blend in with his surroundings.

"The man refuses to crack sir. At this rate he will die before we get any information out of him." The same guard Naruto had observed told a royal looking man.

"Then kill him. There will always be more seaking protection in these walls and I plan on using the information they give us to keep this city safe." The man spoke.

"Sir, if I may be blunt; why don't we just tell the king?" The guard questioned.

"The king wouldn't be able to handle the situation with enough force or power to do anything except let them walk straight into our city. Now then get out of my sight." The man finished with malice lacing his voice and the guard quickly bowed before running out of the room. "Why am I the only one that sees the opportunity we have?" The man questioned as he started to sign papers and write orders for his forces. Naruto looked over to his clone and with a silent nod they both jumped onto the man before the clone teleported away with all the evidence they had gathered against him in hand. Naruto finished looking around the room and reading documents before leaving a couple clones to burn everything in the room.

He quickly made some earth clones and set off to detain or kill all of the guards in the area while freeing the people. His clones and him quickly made work of anyone that would put up a fight and destroyed the brain washing mechanisms before making their way to the surface and casting a genjutsu on all of the people to make them believe they just saw him destroy the underground bunker. While he wasn't going to use it for its first use he was going to use it to train and make weapons while preparing for war.

"Thank you. Thank you so much. I thought I would die down there." The man he had seen before kneeled before him with all of the other prisoners doing the same.

"There's no need for that, please stand." Naruto spoke while disorientling his voice to sound deeper and older. "I couldn't leave you all down there to live like that."

"Still thank you. What should we call you?" Now Naruto could put his plan into action.

"You can call me Fox. I am the leader of Nature's Spite and this city is under our protection. I won't let anything happen to it." At that monument Naruto's clones popped and he was overloaded with knowledge of what areas were being attacked by fire nation and which ones had become outposts. At the same time he got a clear view of the king's furious expression as he looked down on the man he had just arrested.

"I have just learned that your king has been told of what has conspired here. Go to the palace and he will gladly give you everything you need to live your lives here." With that Naruto disappeared without a cloud of smoke or a sound. He left nothing but what seemed to be an angry fox pin for everyone who had witnessed what he had done.

Naruto returned to the place he was starting to consider home just as the sun began to rise and a new day began. He slipped into bed just as he heard the running feet of his peso-guardian coming up the stairs to his room.

She peaked the door open and Naruto pretended to be awoken by the sound and turned to face her under the blankets. "Naruto, i'm being summoned to the place for an emergency meeting. I don't know how long it will last, but if you need anything you can go to Jeff's place, okay?" Naruto gave her a sleepy nod before going to sleep.

He woke up around midday and made his way to the store. Everywhere he walked people were whispering and muttering. The city seemed to lose some of its peace and carelessness and Naruto could tell exactly why. The people he had required that morning must have made it to the palace and told the king what life outside of the walls was like. Filling him in on the war and how deadly the fire nation was. Naruto slowed his walk a little as he tried to pick up on the words that people were whispering about until he heard something that caught his interest.

"I heard a man that called himself Fox saved the people last night and destroyed the compound."

"Apparently he's a part of a freedom fighting group called Nature's Spite."

"I wonder if we'll hear about them again."

Naruto had to hide his smile as he walked down the street and to the store. These people were going to hear about him a lot.
