A year later finds Naruto laughing at the man he had just put into the ceiling. He was the latest victim of Naruto's after challenging him to a duel and underestimating him because he was a kid even though he bore the title of champion.

"Once again, your victor, Naruto." The announcer spoke bored as he raised Naruto's hand and gave him the prize money.

"Bolder is impressed at Naruto's ability to crush any opponent that comes his way." A big muscle of a man spoke as Naruto neared his group.

"Thanks Boulder." Naruto smiled before his face turned evil, "Think you are strong enough to challenge me again?"

Everyone started to laugh again as Boulder drew back looking defeated, "Why did you have to bring that up? Boulder was cocky and Boulder learned his lesson."

Naruto patted him on the back while laughing and gave the huge man as good of a hug as he could. "I'm sorry Boulder. I'm glad you have grown since you arrived. Anyway, today is your last day here and I want to bring some good memories up." Naruto ended the sentence with a sad smile as everyone shook hands with Boulder and wished him luck in a new fighting ring.

"I heard that you will have to leave soon as well, Naruto." The announcer spoke as he walked over to the group as Boulder walked out the door.

"You heard right. That was my last fight in this ring. I have a promise I made to a good friend to keep." Naruto spoke softly as an image of Ava came into his mind.

"Then you take care as well, do you have time for a farewell dinner?" Another man asked as he walked over to the group as well.

"I couldn't ask you guys to do that." Naruto refused as he tried to walk out the door only to be stopped by a hand on his shoulder. Naruto turned to see a woman that he had only met in passing holding his arm.

"Please Naruto, your family." She pleaded as the others nodded and Naruto felt his will dissolve.

"Fine, but don't come hunting me down when your wallets are empty." Naruto joked as everyone else laughed and led him out the doors. The night was filled with fun and many of the older fighters got hammered and two of the men had even kissed and confessed their undying love for one another. Naruto busted a lung laughing at one of the other men that had been sent flying for trying to hit on the woman that had convinced him to go to the dinner. After she was done kicking his ass she sat down next to a still giggling Naruto and ruled his hair. He pouted and pretended to fix his mess of hair.

"Please promise me one thing, Naruto." She spoke to him as they watched the disaster that was unfolding before them.

"Depends on what it is. I don't make promises I can't keep." He responded as he gave her a sideways glance before returning his attention back to the comedy show in front of him.

She chucked before speaking, "That sounds like you." She turned to look him in the eye and he did the same out of respect. "Find someone special. They can be a brother, sister, next friend, or even lover, just don't let the grief you hide consume you and stop you from making bonds." She spoke seriously even as a table went flying behind her.

"That's a promise I can keep." Naruto spoke after a pause before shaking her hand and turning back to see all of the men passed out on the floor. "I should get going while you drag all of these people back to their houses." She chuckled once again and wished him good luck before going to do what Naruto just described. Naruto let out a sigh and walked out into the night and wandered around the town. It was a small town and there was only one rich family in town. The Befongs were the founders of the town at the start of the war and since then the town had only grown. Most of the town's people believed that there were only two Befongs, but Naruto knew there were three. He had seen her get lost around town and had followed her into the mountains to make sure she would be okay when he witnessed a Baggermole find her. Knowing she was in good hands he left her there knowing that someone would be able to challenge him as an earthbender in a couple of years.

Naruto reminisced on all of the memories he had made in this village in the year he had been there and on the fact that it had been a little over two years since he had been plopped in this new world. He had met so many interesting people in his travels and he hadn't even gotten to half of the Earth Kingdom, but all good things had to come to an end. He had been spying on the Fire Nation and he knew that a fleet would be making a stop at one of their conquered ports tomorrow at noon a couple towns to the east. That would be the best way for him to get into the Fire Nation undetected and he had to take it. With one last glance at the village far behind him Naruto disappeared into the night.

The next morning Naruto summoned a clone and told him to report back to the Earth King that he was starting his mission and would report back when he had gotten into the Earth Kingdom. With that they clone disappeared and Naruto went back to observing. After his battle with Iroh he learned that his son had been killed in the fight and for a second felt a pang of guilt. It was kind of ironic that Iroh lost a son while he lost someone he thought of as a mother. Another surprise came when the old Fire Lord named Iroh's younger brother Ozai as the new Fire Lord before his passing. Was failing at an almost impossible task really enough shame to have your birthright taken from you in the Fire Nation? After watching the army bringing supplies onto their boat for half an hour. Naruto formulated a plan and snuck down to the dock. When no one was watching he transformed into a wooden box of supplies and waited for one of the men to place him on to the ship.

It only took five minutes for the men to get to him and they placed him in the storage area before closing it up. Another ten minutes passed before Naruto felt the ship rock with the movement of the ocean. He released the transformation and quickly made his way to the darkest part of the room and waited, bending the shadows around him to consume him in blackness. He sat there until he felt the ship dock once again and expanded his senses to see where they were. He still sensed a lot of earthy oras so he marked the place in his mind for a Nature's Spite hit and continued to stay in his position.

"Kit, while you have some down time come into your mind really quick." Naruto complied to Kurama's request and let himself be pulled into his mindscape.

"What do you all need?" He asked as he appeared in front of the Tailed Beasts.

"We were wondering if you had a plan, or if you would listen to ours." Son Goku explained and Naruto sat down in the water of his mind and waited patiently,

"Since your fire bending is stronger than most you are going to have blue fire, but we have been able to connect to the spirit world in this world and we have found the last dragons. If you could get there you would be able to wield another flame and gain the trust of great allies." Kurama explained while the others nodded along.

"There are dragons in this world?" Was all Naruto could manage to get out.

"Yes."

Naruto's brian broke and he sat completely still for a while before suddenly jumping to his feet startling the others. "Of course I will go and meet these dragons and their protectors." He exclaimed and all of the Beast sweat dropped at his still some-what childish nature.

"After that you will use your newly found flame to surprise the instructors at the local academy and hopefully get the attention of the king. Once that happens two of us will take over your body and speak to the king telling him some story about how we were dragged form the spirit world into your body and that having both of us in your body has leaked some of our power into you and that you are slowly observing us and that soon we will no longer be able to protect you." Matatabi explained and Naruto nodded along.

"Learn new fire, get to the academy, use new fire, impress fire lord, and sneak into his palace just like that." It was a good plan and had enough leeway for them to make any adjustments they had to on the fly.

"That's it, now you're docking in the Fire Nation. From here head north until you find the ruins. Do the dance and walk with the men that greet you." Naruto gave them a nod as he faded from his mind.

He awoke to the sight of the last box being moved out of the ship and silently slipped around the guards and off the ship into the city. He made a clone and sent it off to inform the king before finding a stand that sold maps and heading off to the North. He walked through the city and saw a huge statue of the late Fire Lord. Naruto stared at it before shaking his head and moving through the city and out into the grasslands outside the walls. He traveled for three days before he came across an old city that was filled with a pressure that Naruto couldn't put his finger on. It felt powerful, yet soft. It distracted him enough that he almost stepped on the trap that was set right in front of him. He released his breath when he noticed that he hadn't set it off and continued on his way. The further into the old ruins he went the more he started to feel as if he was being watched. It wasn't a dangerous presence, more like a curious one.

He made his way to the end of the road and walked into the fancy temple that was in the middle of the city. He carefully opened the door only to have to doge a harpoon that shot out at him. Naruto got down to the ground and opened the door fully before carefully examining the room. Surrounding the perimeter of the room were statues of people in the middle of a stance. He looked to both sides and realized that the statues mirrored the other. He created a clone and had it line up with him before starting the dance. Around, up, down, left, right, he spun and kicked and twisted until his clone and him linked up at the end and a door opened. He dispearced the clone and slowly walked into the new room only to see a ball of solid gold at the end of the room. Naruto knew a trap when he saw one and slowly he looked around the room to find another exit. He looked up when a raindrop fell onto his nose to see a grate in the ceiling. He threw one of his father's kuni up through the bars and teleported to it once he heard it thunk into the ground.

He stood only to see a group of people surrounding him. They had old cloaks on and sun-like head dresses.

"Hello young man, what brings you to the village of the sun?" The leader asked as he inspected Naruto.

"A spirit sent me here to learn from the last dragons. He said to follow the people I met." Naruto explained and the leader's eyes widened before he beckoned Naruto to follow him.

"We haven't had someone sent here by spirits since the last Avatar." The old leader explained as he eyes Naruto once again.

"I'm not the Avatar, I'm just a kid with quite the past." Naruto sighed as he explained.

"I'll leave it for now." The leader spoke as they came up upon a set of ginormous stairs. "This here is the flame of the sun or life." The leader explained as he pointed to the fire behind him. "Your job is to keep a piece of the flame lit as you make your way to the top and talk to the last dragons." He then stepped back and Naruto walked forward and took a piece of the flame into his hands. It was warm, but it didn't burn. It reminded him of the hearth that Ava had in her house. Slowly Naruto turned and made his way up the stairs while making sure not to accidentally put the fire out.

As he walked up the stairs Naruto started to feel power coming from the caves on either side of the top platform. The feeling was sudden and intense as it swept over him in waves. Each step closer to the top required more energy for him to take. Each one made it harder to breathe and he could feel some sweat run down his back. Taking a deep breath Naruto let his mind refocus and he continued on his way back to the final platform. As the sun began to set and the stars appeared in the sky a thunderous roar was heard from both directions as Naruto took the last step of the stairs. Two colorful beings shot out of the caves and Naruto spun around to see that he was surrounded by two dragons. One blue and the other red spun around Narutop so fast that he saw purple. They slowed and Naruto realized that they were copying each other's movements. Studying them a while longer revealed that their movements resembled the dance he had done to get to the bridge in the first place. Naruto split his fire to be held in each hand as he waited then jumped in to time the dance with their movements. Up, down, left right, arm, leg, kick, punch. The movements went everywhere and nowhere as he stayed in the small circle the dragons had left for him. Around and around they went until Naruto's flaming fists punched up into the air the same time the dragons stopped their dance as well.

No words were spoken as each dragon stared Naruto in the eyes and he moved from dragon to dragon. No words had to be spoken just as Naruto could see through others, these dragons were able to see through him and see his past; the happy and sorrowful. The dragons moved to be on either side of him before they opened their mouths and let out bellows of multi-colored fire that ranged from white to a dark blue. It gave Naruto some pride to know that black was nowhere to be seen. Once the flames had died down the dragons gazed at him until they realized what they were silently telling him. He sucked in a deep breath before letting it come out and was surprised to see a pure white come out instead of his normal blood red fire.

Naruto grinned as reality hit him. He could bend another type of fire. He now had black, from the sharingan, blood red from Kurama, blue from the two-tails, and finally white because of the dragons. He bowed to each of the dragons before starting to make his way down the stairs. As he walked he heard the swish of their wings as they returned to their caves and a blast of wind pushed him down a couple of stairs before he regained his footing.

He turned and glared at the dragons as they disappeared into their caves with what sounded like a chuckle. He continued down the stairs while muttering about "stupid dragons" and "how they should think before almost pushing someone down the stairs."

"Congratulations, Master Naruto. You have been chosen by the great dragons to bear the pure flame. This flame hasn't been seen in a millennium." The leader of the sun tribe spoke as he approached Naruto. "I believe you are the one the ancient ones told us about. The second Avatar that would help save the world and stop it from destroying itself." He bowed at Naruto and the others followed.

"Please don't bow to me. I haven't done anything to earn your gratitude. Once the world is rid of this war and the people can rejoice in the streets without fear, that is the only time I should be bowed to." Once he was done speaking Naruto bowed to the group and started to make his way back towards the entrance before the chief stopped him once again.

"You truly are the one they spoke of. In that case these weapons are rightfully yours." The man handed him two three-pronged kuni and Naruto's eyes lit up. "These are said to be able to have chi travel through them to light up your attacks with the elements. I trust you will use these well." Naruto quickly thanked the man once again before heading out once more.

"Don't you find it funny that you are in another prophecy, Kit?" Kurama asked him as they traveled to the main city in the Fire Nation, Imperial City.

"I don't care. Many people can't say that they were in one prophecy, much less two, that just means I have to save this world; afterall I already failed mine." With that somber note their conversation ended and Naruto continued to travel to Imperial City, where his new life could begin.
