Hollow Pixie

"A doctor here, now!"

Mal shouted. When they arrived at the refuge, Rashid and she had Ben and Jay on their shoulders, even though they were both injured. Although the journey took less than a minute, it felt like an eternity to them. Seeing her love and friends hurt was too painful for Mal.

"What happened? Help now!"

Clarion, who seemed to be the only one awake, shouted for someone from the medical center to come.

"No, I'm fine."

Mal said, refusing to be taken to the outpatient clinic

"Mal, we need to talk about what happened in Camelot."

Clarion warned

"Okay, but if it doesn't matter I wanted to be with Ben and Jay first."

"All right and you weren't hurt?"

Maly glanced at her slightly fractured shoulder.

"No, I'm fine. Do you mind telling Lonnie? She has to know about Jay."

"Okay."

All Mal wanted was to take a shower and forget about this day. When she sat down, she threw her head back to think about what she had done. She had faced Agatha, the witch who was about to put an end to everything. It's a lot to process, looking back she wanted to say that she wasn't prepared and that she shouldn't face the witch, but that's what she did, without any preparation and having only been through two masters, Mal fought and won the fight. May it be like this a few weeks from now.

"Mal, where's Jay? How is he?"

Lonnie came in frightened behind Mal.

"Jay and Ben fought someone, some kind of monster or something. They got hurt a bit, Jay fractured some ribs, but they're both going to be fine."

"Okay."

And now they were both waiting for answers.

"Mal?"

A fairy came to call her. Perhaps she had spent too much time thinking that she hadn't even noticed the time passing.

"Yes? That's Jay's girlfriend."

She stood up and looked at the fairy doctor

"Okay, your friends are fine. Jay has some bandages on his ribs, as well as some minor scratches. Ben had to undergo a short operation."

"And he's okay?"

"Yes, the King dislocated one of the bones in his leg, but he's fine. He also needed stitches in his head."

"Can we see them?"

Lonnie asked apprehensively

"Sure, come with me."

(...)

"Hi."

Mal said to Ben, sitting down next to him.

"Hi."

He smiled tiredly at her.

"How are you feeling?"

She ran her hand over his forehead, brushing his bangs out of his eyes, and when she did, she could see the bandage on his forehead.

"Like a monster with Chad's face just walked over me."

For the first time she smiled.

"And how was that experience, Your Majesty?"

"That wasn't real, right? There's no giant monster with Chad's face on it, is there?"

"At this point in time I don't doubt anything and you and Jay weren't on your best days either."

"How is he?"

"He's fractured some ribs and you King Benjamin are forbidden to do any kind of exertion for the next three weeks."

"Does that mean?"

"No madness of any kind until you gets better."

"And you?"

He was about to put his hand on her shoulder in the form of a caress, as he always does.

"I'm fine."

But she quickly took it away and gave his hand a gentle kiss.

"So, you faced Agatha Darkness?"

"Who told you?"

"One of the nurses, people are pretty excited about it. How was it?"

"Terrifying, harrowing, exhausting and I really wish I'd never do it again, but it was a pretty cool experience"

She summed up.

"I can imagine. You know I can't get up, right?"

He smiled a smile she was very familiar with.

"And?"

"Your mouth has spent too long away from mine."

"Really? You're right."

She finally went over to him and gave him a kiss.

In the next room Jay was also talking to Lonnie.

"How do I look?"

Jafar's son asked his girlfriend.

"I've never seen you more charming. How was the fight? Swords, guns? I want to know everything."

"There was no fight, it was more like a single huge blow from a monster. Ben and I didn't even have a chance to do anything, he arrived...and here we are."

"I was worried."

"I'm fine, don't worry, it's just a rib."

"Two weeks off work, you won't be able to keep up with Mal."

She knew he wouldn't like that.

"Lonnie, that fight wasn't even close to what we're going to have to face for real and honestly I didn't like the feeling I got today at all."

He entwined his hand in hers and looked down at the floor.

"What feeling?"

"Not having the chance to do what you want because you're unable to. Lonnie, I know we've been together for a long time and I like our relationship, but I really want something more serious and I know that in general we don't like the whole marriage thing. So, what do you think, once all this is over, we'll make things official?"

"I'd like that."

Later, everyone heard what had happened and came to see the patients. While Belle and Adam stayed with Ben, Evie and Carlos went to see Jay.

"How are you?"

Evie asked.

"Tired, but nothing we haven't experienced on the Island."

"I was thinking, fairies have a different kind of organism to humans, why do they have an infirmary here and why don't they use magic to cure?"

Carlos asked his friends.

"We don't use the infirmary, but I asked them to put it up for you. And as for magic, we only use it as a last resort." Clarion entered the room, explaining the situation to everyone. "Where's Mal?"

"She's with Rashid."

Carlos replied.

(...)

"She was weak, but she still had incredible strength."

Mal spoke to Rashid. The two of them were chatting, while Rashid magically patched up his injuries.

"But you beat her, that's a good sign."

"Not so much, I only used basic spells. What's the next step?"

"First, you'll have to bandage that shoulder or it'll get infected, you're still half human Mal." He said, showing that he knew about her injury. "Then we'll travel to Wonderland, I'm afraid that now she knows about you, she wanted to speed up the plans."

Auradon

"I can't do my spell just yet." Agatha was standing in front of the huge entrance to Beast Castle. "But until then I can think of something."

"What are you going to do?"

Chad asked, watching her concentrate.

"That."

She threw a huge flame and then a gust of wind formed leading to three large whirlpools that seemed to move according to her commands.

"Where are they going?"

He asked when he realized that those huge things were heading in three opposite directions inside Auradon.

"Crystal Slipper, that warrior from China and Little Frog."

"My mother? Are you crazy?"

Chad was startled to hear where those winds were going.

"And you've only just realized? If you want to save her, you've got ten minutes."

"Oh, no."

The boy turned into a huge monster again and ran out of the castle.

"Now, I just need to speed up my plans. What about you, Merlin? You'd better have protected your home better."

She looked at the blue potion, which was actually what she needed most at that moment to get her magic back to normal. She had stolen it from Merlin without him realizing it.
