A Shinobi's experience with 115

Chapter 2: Der Riese

Naruto woke up with his head pounding and vision blurred by something blue up ahead he had washed up on the bank of a river, he felt himself being lifted causing his view to shift to a metal box on wheels before being thrown against something hard this is where he blacked out.

When he opened his eyes, he had to squint because of the new light only when it cleared did, he see the visage of a bald bearded man and the plain grey walls of the room. ''Where am I and who are you?''

This would get a smile from the older man, 'my name is Dr Ludvig Maxis, but you can call me Dr Maxis. We are at the Der Riese facility in Germany.' Maxis had paused so Naruto had nodded to show his understanding.

'Now my boy what is your name' The Doctor had asked as he leaned forward

'Naruto... Naruto Uzumaki' he replied

'Good, I'm sorry to tell you this Naruto you've been unconscious for a couple of days now and we've had to run a few tests on you to keep you alive. Can you tell me the last thing you remember?' The doctor had asked with a look of concern.

Naruto racked his brain for anything he was doing before now but it all came up blank, giving him a splitting headache the more he tried causing him to scrunch his whiskered cheeks in pain, so he gave up and told the doctor all he knew was his name.

'That's unfortunate young one it seems your amnesia case was more severe than I thought it would be and I'm sorry to tell you there is only a slim chance of you regain the lost memories with time' he said leaning forward to gauge the young blonde's reaction to the news.

With a look of indifference, the boy replied in a bored tone 'who cares it probably wasn't that important if I forgot it right Doc?'

'Don't you want to know where you came from?' Maxis asked only receiving a blank look from the boy of Asian descent, causing him to sigh moving over to Naruto's bedside table to turn off the tape recorder, picking it up and exiting. Closing the door walking out of the blonds hearing range to meet up with a man dressed in Nazi uniform.

'Edward, it seems the boy has lost his memory like the others I assume we will continue the doses of Element 115 supplements in his food to see the extent of the subject' only for the man to smile and agree with Maxis.

Maxis gave a stern Look to the man in uniform 'I need you to escort the boy to the other subject's quarters and remember to tell him that we are doing this for his own health during your experiments' Edward nodded only for Maxis to walk off to continue his work elsewhere in the facility.

When the door reopened Naruto spotted a new man dressed in strange clothes standing in the doorway, he had never seen such a uniform but before he could continue to think about it the man started to introduce himself 'Mein name is Doctor Edward Richtofen but you can call me Doctor and I'm going to be one of the doctors in charge of keeping you un good health, now follow me to your living quarters' as he motioned outside with his arm.

Naruto wobbled out of bed since he had been unconscious for days only for a hand to be placed on his shoulder from Richtofen to keep him steady whilst being lead down the hallway toward his soon to be room. They had stopped Infront of a locked iron door which was unlocked with the keys that were hanging from Edwards waist, 'I hope you don't mind roommates because you will have some company'

Richtofen opened the door revealing two bunk beds with three men, a fat man with a red face wearing a hat wrapped in a scarf was on the top left bunk, while opposite him there was an angry looking man with brown hair in a buzz cut and the last one being the only man on the bottom bunks was a man of Japanese descent wearing a green cap. 'I hope you can get on with your new bunk mates' Richtofen said before nudging him inside and locking the door leaving the room in an awkward silence. Only for it to be broken by the Asian 'Gaijin you bring dishonour to our race with hair like that' causing Naruto to look at his blond locks with confusion.

Only for the fat man to shout 'Shut up Takeo leave child alone besides you annoy me with incessant whining about honour, small child might be other Asian country like Taiwan Da' revealing the Japanese man's name to be Takeo

The man with the buzz cut shouted back to the fat one 'Fucking Commie Bastard, Nikolai Taiwan isn't even a country what are you stupid' starting an argument between the two but at least Naruto was learning their names.

Takeo tried to butt into the argument 'Dempsey that was not Nikolai's point you pig headed American' This giving Naruto the name of his final roommate who had ignored Takeo and had continued to argue with Nikolai until they decided that it was time to properly introduce themselves to him.

'My name is Tank Dempsey kid and I'm a kickass Marine, you've probably got the other names from our little spat but if you couldn't tell the fat drunk is Nikolai Belinski' He was interrupted with a shout of 'shut it capitalist pig' from said man. Dempsey picked off from where he was before Nikolai's cry of protest 'he's Russian and the Jap over there is Takeo Masaki' Naruto looked to Takeo who just nodded in confirmation. 'It seems you already met with Dicktofen who by the way is gonna make your life a living hell with his stupid experiments' This caused Naruto to frown because his brief encounter with the doctor didn't make him seem as cruel as Dempsey portrayed him as.

'Why not introduce oneself, Da young one?' Nikolai had asked then letting of a belch that smelled horrible.

'My name is Naruto Uzumaki, and I don't really remember anything of my time before I woke up here' he replied showing unease at their reaction to his dementia.

'Don't sweat it kid we don't remember much of anything since those Fucking Germans started prodding us with needles and shit' Dempsey stated a frown marring his face.

'Needles? Nikolai has only been given funny tasting vodka it is still good though, but Germans must hate you as much as I do stupid American' Nikolai laughed out.

'Shut it you red asshole your breath smells worse than fermented cat piss so why don't you close your mouth before I stomp it into your bed post. Dempsey shouted back while Takeo would sit there shaking his head.

The arguments continued till the group decided it would be a good time to rest as it was getting late, and Group 935 was likely to experiment with them throughout the next day.

Naruto was awakened by the sound of something banging on the cell's door only to find his roommates illuminated by the light coming from their small, barred windows whilst they were picking up plates of some sort of grey mush on their plates with Nikolai's excreting a similar smell to whatever had been spilled on his clothes. 'Do we really have to eat that stuff' Naruto asked hesitantly.

'You kind of have to they won't give you anything else, Nikolai is the only one who can enjoy this shit only because it's laced with vodka, or his fat ass can't go without a tiny bit of food for a day' Dempsey stated causing Naruto to laugh at the Russians expense.

'Fuck you Dempsey, Nikolai is sorting his drinking solution out with food since the Germans see no problem with giving me vodka so maybe this means Nikolai is favourite eh' Nikolai replied with a hint of pride.

Whilst this was going on Takeo had finished eating and had been taken by the scientists for his routine checkups for Richtofen's experiments. Naruto was getting bored of the twos bickering and decided to eat his food, it was a horrible tasting mush like its appearance would state. It seemed the only people who didn't actively complain about the food would be Takeo and Nikolai.

Another scientist came in with a bottle of vodka and handed it to Nikolai who followed him out of the room. 'Hurry up and finish your slop kid because it won't be long till we go too' Dempsey said before he was promptly taken out Naruto could hear him shouting profanities at the man doing his job from beyond the door causing him to let out a sigh.

After a few minutes a familiar face greeted him from the cell door it was Richtofen who was motioning for him to move out the door, Naruto was unsure what to think of him from what the others had briefly said about the man was nothing but cruel, but all Edward was doing is leading him to where he needed to be. The doctor was alright in his books.

Those thoughts were completely flipped around when he found himself letting out a cry of pain as the three needles dug into his arms whilst he struggled against his restraints, Richtofen looking at him with a manic grin enjoying his suffering.

This went on for a while till Richtofen told him to just relax as the last of the syringes were emptied before he left apparently the mad doctor was going to visit Takeo next. His thoughts were interrupted by Maxis undoing his binds and asking Naruto to follow him which he did with hesitance.

'So, boy how are you finding it here are you adapting well' Maxis asked with a smile 'not really doctor why do me and the others have to go through these tests Richtofen puts us though' Naruto replied frowning.

'Those tests are for your own safety Naruto you must understand we're only trying to help you and your friends' Maxis answered facing away from him as he was led back to the cell. He was ushered into the cell by Maxis where he was in isolation counting the minutes till about half an hour later a fatigued looking Tank came into the cell.

'Hey little man you aren't looking so swell either Richtofen must've done a number on you' Dempsey said as he got onto his bunk for a lay down.

'Where are Takeo and Nikolai, I thought Takeo was getting tested after me?' Naruto asked with concern

'Heh Nikolai is probably getting his drunk as dragged here, as for Tak he's more compliant with the activities Richtofen gets up to but that doesn't mean he enjoys it though who would it's torture.' Dempsey replied trying to sound optimistic for him, but Naruto could tell Tank needed rest.

Suddenly, Nikolai was thrown onto the floor where he lay sleeping and getting drool on the floor, he was clearly blackout drunk Naruto thought he should let him rest so he grabbed Nikolai's pillow and put it under his head.

Takeo had opened the cell door stepping inside not saying a word as the scientists locked the door behind him, Takeo stepped over Nikolai and went straight to sleep in his bed.

This routine continued for a few days until Richtofen disappeared the experiments being carried out by other scientists. Suddenly, after a month Doctor Richtofen had finally returned but he had started acting stranger than the norm for a sadistic sociopath he was, during tests he would giggle during his usual torture unlike his normal maniacal laughter he must be planning something it left even Nikolai's mouth dry with the dread of what's to come.
