Music Playing: "Melancholic" by Mizutani Hiromi
Now that we know Ryuuko's last name, we got to looking for her sister with Memory's ol' schoolmates. Ryuuko kept very much to herself and she was still so sad. These four met "Memory" and, even to them, she was just a flicker to where they couldn't really remember her name. They did draw a picture of her, as to what she might've looked like, and I think it hurt Ryuuko more because the only picture she had of her sister had her hair covering her face. She would just cry while we tried to make her feel better. "We might be getting closer to finding out who she is." I told her, and that helped a little but not by much. I told the four that what hurt Ryuuko more was Memory left Ryuuko those years ago.
"Memory left Ryuuko on our doorstep when we were little and she never visited, though, she did send us money but Ryuuko's heartbroken." I told them. That sweater and photo is all Ryuuko has of Memory and I think Ryuuko likes to pretend it's Memory that's holding her in her arms again. Thinking about it, there's a reason why Ryuuko, at times, preferred to sleep so much because Memory's in her dreams. In her dreams, her sister never left but, when she woke up, Memory was gone and she'd be in tears.
"Mostly, " she told them, "I just want her back. I want to know why she left." After that, she just "ugly" cried and held that sweater tighter, asking why her sister left her all those years ago. Nonon tried to tell her that we have some more info so maybe we could find her better. I wondered if Ryuuko was afraid of her sister rejecting her. Somehow, I got her to tell them what she remembered about "Memory".
"Memory's my big sister. I remembered this is her sweater and that she took me for a walk once—don't remember what season it was. I don't remember her face to s'much because her hair was messy. I mostly remembered that she left me at Mako's house and that's where I've been since." she said, before she broke down again. She would stop crying, saying, "Memory was warm."
