Bookworm

To say Kujou Sara loves going to the library all days, would be an understatement. She practically lives there.

She loves to spend long hours inside its large four walls from the very minute it opens to the very last minute before its closure. In fact, if she could, she'd sleep in there too, but that, of course, it's impossible.

So Sara is simply happy just by getting to go there every day.

And you would be wondering, why does she seem to genuinely enjoy going to the library all days and spending most of her time in there?

The answer is easy: Kujou Sara is basically a bookworm.

She loves the relaxed atmosphere filling the place as well as the smell of the thousands of books filling the bookcases of the library, old copies mixing with the most recent ones...

The touch of their beautifully designed covers and their pages filled with a great variety words and knowledge that Sara could never get tired of.

And one of the things she loves the most out of it, it's the silence reigning over the place only broken by quiet whispers or the rustle of pages that she easily ignores as she gets lost in new adventures to read, or in the information she needs to consult and learn more about for her studies.

Or simply as she sits in such a peaceful place to let the ink of her pen fill the pages of her own notebook unaware of everything and everybody.

Everybody except a pink haired girl determined to change that.

It can be said that Yae Miko is quite the opposite to Sara. She wouldn't say she dislikes the library, but she certainly doesn't go there by her own choice but because it's a good place to consult whatever she needs for her studies.

And as a result of it, she meets a certain gorgeous dark purple haired bookworm.

The days in which Yae goes the library, she never fails to coincide with the dark purple haired girl, seeing her sat far away at the background of the same one in a table that probably has her name written on it by now, with a book in her hands reading it avidly, or just consulting something the same way she does.

Yae can't help but notice the girl's slender fingers tracing delicately the inked words on the pages in front of her before noting them down on her notebook, a mix of fascination and concentration adorning her beautiful features that she can't help but adore, wanting nothing more than take a picture of the other girl like that.

So, tired of only admiring her from afar for some quite time, Yae decides to gather enough courage to approach the quiet beauty one evening.

- Excuse me.

She clears her throat as she stands by the dark purple haired beauty, seeing her jumping on her chair slightly clearly too engrossed in the book in her hands to have even noticed Yae approaching her.

When Sara gazes up from her book, Yae can't help but fall silent, feeling her heart fluttering as she gets completely trapped in the dark purple haired girl's mesmerizing and sharp golden eyes, feeling as if they could see through her soul.

- Can I help you, miss?

Sara asks politely, and Yae feels her deep voice being like Heaven to her ears.

- Do you happen to have a calculator with you? I need to do a calculation and my phone just died, and I happen to not have one with me...

She comes out with an excuse, seeing a surprised expression painting Sara's face, before she gives her a soft almost coy smile that makes Yae's heart skip a beat.

- Let me see… – Sara says as she takes her backpack and begins to rummage in it searching for a calculator, before she lets out a sad sigh – I'm sorry, I didn't bring mine with me today.

She says regretfully while shaking her head, before continuing timidly.

- But I can use my own phone if you need it.

Sara offers her kindly, seeing Yae smiling at her, before nodding.

- That would be great, thank you.

Now it's Sara's turn to nod, before she opens the calculator app in her phone ready to do the calculation Yae needs.

- Can you multiply 04528086061.5 by 2?

Sara nods, immediately typing the long number Yae dictates her in her phone without thinking how difficult it seems to be to have memorized it, before showing the pink haired girl the result.

- Great, thank you. By the way… – Yae thanks her, before she leans to whisper something in the dark purple haired girl's ear – That's my phone number, gorgeous.

She tells her, a sly grin playing on her lips as she winks at her to see Sara blushing deep red, before she squeaks and struggles to erase the calculation in her phone and take her things with her to leave the library as fast as her legs allow her, clearly having a gay panic attack.

The pink haired girl can't help but click her tongue at the panicked expression on Sara's face, before she giggles at how cute the blushing little bird was.

Luckily for both Sara and Yae, the calculator app has an history with the last calculation made so Sara can save Yae's number in her phone once she calms down, her heart fluttering in anticipation of wanting to see the pink haired girl once again even if she's the cause she had to leave her beloved peaceful place in such a rush that day, and the reason that she also isn't spending long hours inside its walls but with the sly girl outside.
