"Well, let's go." Peter said and he, MJ, Ororo and Jean took to the air while the others followed on foot. As they got closer Peter saw the Hydra, the Greek warriors and demonic Satyrs, along with a Minotaur and a one eye Cyclops were smashing up cars and ripping off windows from the buildings to look inside. 'Still looking for Olympus.' Peter thought as he watched a squad of Shield agents being sent flying by a backhand from the Minotaur and Peter quickly swung over to web and catch the agents.
When Peter landed with the men and women, he could feel the ground trembling with vibrations that were coming from the crystal in the center of the villains. "No doubt holding another power being, the crystal is sending devastating sonic shock waves out for blocks. If this continues then they're a risk of buildings sinking into the sewers." Caretaker told the heroes "From the machines attached to the gem, I'm guessing that Reed is using the waves as an echolocation device to try and see if the Gods are underground." Peter evaluated the situation as they took down the troops one by one.
When it came to the monsters, the heroes worked together to defeat them. Such as the Spiders Miles and Gwen webbing up the Cyclops legs and Wasp using her stings to blind it and Ben punching it in the face to make the Cyclops fall over to the ground. As for the minotaur, Cloak would gather debris and drop it on the beast head. With it momentarily confused Peter hopped on the Minotaur head and use his super strength to direct it towards MJ, who was doing a bull fighter impression of "Toro, Toro!" In front of the crystal and the bull like humanoid roared as it charged at Peter's wife.
Who waited for the last minute to divide out of the way and Peter also jumped clear as the Minotaur slammed into the gem and shattering it into pieces, while it turned to dust from the small energy blast the crystal gave off. Going over to the remain of the jewel Peter found another woman laying among the shard. She had a slender hourglass body that was fair and dressed in a simple dark blue and black Greek Grecian Dress that just contained her glorious bust. Her face was heart shaped and surrounded by long blonde locks, which like the rest of her was starting to fade in and out of connection with this realm.
A course having already been through this before, Peter lifted his mask and planted his mouth onto the woman's. Whose form solidified as a bond was made between the two to anchor the woman to this reality and she quickly responded to the kiss by wrapping her arms around Peter and kissing him back. When they finally pulled away for air Peter stare into the woman's bright blue eyes as her red lips rose up into a smile and she spoke in a musical voice. "I'm Dinah Laurel Lance, thank you Peter Parker for saving me." She then gave him another kiss and it only ended when Mary Jane gave a soft cough and said "How about you thank him when we get you to safety." Peter nodded and helped Dinah to her feet as they walked to the portal back to the Abbey.
-
"So what aspect of the Greek culture are you connected with?" Lois Lane asked Dinah as they sat in the common room of the Abbey. "A siren, but I don't transform into the bird like beings. My father was human, who somehow managed to charm a siren instead of the other way around and their union produced me. I have the gift of using my voice to either spell a people, or to even release a sonic scream as a weapon." Dinah replied "That's impressive, though I must reframe you from 'charming' anyone here." Caretaker told her and she nodded "Yes Ma'am, I will not, unless my Master commands me to." The others looked over at Peter with sly grins on their faces since they knew that he wouldn't do any such thing, still the gazes made Peter a bit nervous and he decided to change the subject by asking Sara.
"Any news from the Captain?"
"Yes, he and the others are heading back and should be here soon." Sara said and as if summoned by her words, Steve, Hunter, Illyana, Carol and Tony came into the room. "Steve, how did it go?" The Captain had an expression that was hard to explain, "Well, I must say that I didn't think I would meet anyone who was even more pigheaded than Tony until meeting Zeus." Tony might've had an annoyed look on his face if he wasn't nodding his head "Yeah and that saying something. Zeus thinks that they are safe from Typhon where they are and refuse to accept the fact that they could be found. When we asked about the people in danger, Zeus just saw us as nothing but evil, imbecilic, tasteless parasites. Which was cruel and wrong since we have tastes in things like music more so than probably his musicians."
"Even telling them about the attack on Harlem and them producing images of your fight against the monsters, Zeus refused to budge." Hunter said, ignoring Tony last comment. "I know that Zeus was arrogant, but if Manhattan falls to Typhon. It's only a matter of time before he finds Olympus. Zeus is crazy." Johnny said and Ororo looked at him with concern "Uh Johnny. I don't think it would be wise to use the C word to describe the Lord of the sky."
"While that's is polite for you to say, Miss Monroe. I have to say that Mr. Storm isn't too far from the truth." A new voice said from the doorway and looking they saw a peacock standing there. Peter was confused until he saw that the bird's eyes were glowing with a blue light and remembering the designs of the birds on a certain chair he said. "Hera?" The peacock nodded its head. "Sorry for the intrusion, but we need to have a talk."
