Hello guys! It's been a while huh? Sweet 1 month. Sorry for the wait but at the time, I went out for vacation and now, recently, new year of school started for me, so yeah. Been really busy lol.
Also, I just didn't know what I wanted to do with this episode even before going to vacation and it took really a lot of time to get a proper script going.
But it's here, and that's what matters at the end, right?
Onto the reviews:
MidnightSavvy (on episode 5 and 6 and first batch of the audition tapes) : I am really glad you're back to reading and reviewing my work. About Episode 5, I am happy that you liked the challenge. I did too, a lot. Thought it could be a fun idea. About Lucy getting eliminated...as I said in the end of the chapter, I really couldn't fit her in with the season's future narrative and she's more like a parody character anyway. Still, she was really fun to write for. About the audition tapes, also really glad you liked them and, to be honest, I struggled a lot to write them, I wanted them to fit their characters but in the end, everything came together. About Episode 6, gotta say that I like your work a lot too. I just never review because I don't know exactly what to say but I can say here that you're an amazing writer. Keep going! And also, completely agreed, Rodrick is one hell of an idiot lol! About your prediction, you'll see soon enough.
Now, onto the episode!
[The camera opens on Chris standing confidently on the dock, his signature grin in place as he prepares to deliver the recap for the viewers.]
Chris: "Last time on Total Drama Wawanakwa..."
[The screen comes to life, flashing through key moments of the previous episode as Chris's voiceover takes the lead.]
Chris: "Our remaining contestants were in for a rollercoaster of emotions. The day kicked off with a challenge that tested not only their knowledge but also their emotional resilience."
[Scenes of the trivia challenge unfold on the screen, showcasing contestants battling it out with obscure facts.]
Chris: "It was trivia time, and it turns out Emilia had more brainpower than anyone anticipated. She dominated the challenge, leading the Swift Deers to another win."
[Emilia's triumphant expressions and the team's jubilant celebrations play out in quick succession.]
Chris: "But that wasn't the only highlight of the day. Oh no, things got even juicier when Danielle put her manipulation skills to use."
[A montage unfolds, showing Danielle scheming, searching through the camp for hidden recordings, and her eventual success in acquiring some compromising information.]
Chris: "Using some slick maneuvering, Danielle managed to get her hands on those hidden camp recordings, giving her a batch of new trump cards to play."
[The screen shifts to images of Emilia and Zane, their faces reflecting concern and confusion.]
Chris: "Now, she's got some dirt on Emilia and Zane, and let's just say, things might get messier than Chef's cooking."
[Chris's chuckle echoes through the narration as the screen transitions to scenes of the reward challenge.]
Chris: "But hey, not everything was dramatic. We threw in a reward that was supposed to lift everyone's spirits - phone calls home."
[A heartwarming montage plays, capturing the emotional conversations between contestants and their loved ones.]
Chris: "From tearful reunions to laughter and shared memories, these calls tugged at heartstrings and showcased the softer side of our competitors."
[Images of Jackie, Rodrick, and the others connecting with their families fill the screen.]
Chris: "But as always, the show must go on. And now, our contestants are back with their spirits somewhat recharged, ready to face whatever twisted challenge I have in store for them."
[Chris's grin widens, hinting at the upcoming twist as the recap comes to an end.]
Chris: "And what that may be? Find out right here on Total... Drama... Wawanakwa!"
[With his signature dramatic flair, Chris concludes the recap, setting the stage for the next round of challenges and drama on the island.]
[The camera now fades out to the intro.]
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
[The episode opens up on the Swift Deers cabin, where Rodrick is sitting on his bunk bed, deep in thought. Jackie enters the cabin and leans against the doorway, her eyes fixed on Rodrick.]
Jackie: "Hey, Rodrick. You okay? You've been in here for a while."
[Rodrick looks up, his expression pensive.]
Rodrick: "Yeah, just... thinking."
[Jackie's concern is evident as she walks over and sits beside him on the bunk bed.]
Jackie: "About what?"
[Rodrick's tough exterior wavers as he speaks.]
Rodrick: "About how I wish I had been there to say goodbye to my mom. If I hadn't auditioned for this stupid show, maybe..."
[Jackie's voice is gentle and reassuring.]
Jackie: "You did it to help your mom, Rodrick. You've always done things for her."
[Rodrick's frustration starts to show.]
Rodrick: "You wouldn't understand. You've never had to experience what I'm going through."
[Jackie's tone remains compassionate as she opens up.]
Jackie: "Actually, I have. I lost someone important to me too."
[Rodrick looks at her in surprise.]
Rodrick: "Who?"
[Jackie's eyes hold a hint of sadness as she speaks.]
Jackie: "My dog, four years ago."
[Rodrick dismisses it, his tone cynical.]
Rodrick: "Oh, come on. That's not even close to-"
[Jackie interrupts him, her voice firm and honest.]
Jackie: "Rodrick, my parents are hardly ever home. They're always working. My dog was more than just a pet. He was my companion when I was lonely. When he died, I felt like I lost my best friend."
[Rodrick's skepticism begins to waver as he listens to her.]
Rodrick: "I... I didn't know it was like that."
[Jackie leans back, her eyes filled with a mix of understanding and vulnerability.]
Jackie: "I know it's not the same as losing a parent. Nothing can replace that. But pain is pain, Rodrick. We all go through it in different ways."
[Rodrick softens slightly, realizing that maybe he's not as alone in his pain as he thought.]
Rodrick: "I guess I've been a jerk, huh?"
[Jackie chuckles softly.]
Jackie: "You? A jerk? Nah, couldn't be."
[There's a hint of playfulness in her words, and for a moment, their usual banter returns.]
Rodrick: "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up."
[Jackie nudges him playfully.]
Jackie: "Seriously, though, you can't blame yourself for everything. Life throws us curveballs, and we just gotta roll with 'em."
[Rodrick nods, a hint of gratitude in his eyes.]
Rodrick: "Thanks, Jackie."
[Jackie smiles warmly.]
Jackie: "Don't mention it. Just don't go all soft on me, alright?"
[Rodrick grins, a bit of his old self returning.]
Rodrick: "Deal. Let's keep this between us."
CONFESSIONAL - JACKIE
[Jackie's confessional follows shortly after her conversation with Rodrick. She wears a small, contemplative smile as she admits to something she hadn't revealed before.]
Jackie: "Yeah, I may have told Rodrick a little white lie about my parents. They do work a lot, that part is true, but they also love me. I guess I just wanted to make a point and cheer him up. Sometimes, you gotta bend the truth to help someone see things differently."
[She shrugs, her expression reflecting a mix of sincerity and mischief.]
Jackie: "Besides, a little dramatic storytelling never hurt anyone, right?"
[The scene transitions to Ramiro, Dirk, Leon, and Carlos standing outside the main lodge. Dirk's stomach starts rumbling loudly, drawing everyone's attention. Leon seizes the opportunity to make a suggestion.]
Leon: "I bet that no one here has the courage to get on the main lodge and snatch some food for everybody."
[Carlos, intrigued by the idea, responds.]
Carlos: "That's it? Deal."
[Ramiro, ever competitive, chimes in.]
Ramiro: "Deal too. That's too easy."
[Ramiro, Leon, and Carlos decide to make their way to the main lodge together. As they approach the lodge, Leon spots a familiar challenge and grins mischievously.]
Leon: "Alright, new bet. Ramiro, I bet you can't eat ten of these hot chili peppers at once."
[Ramiro raises an eyebrow, clearly considering the challenge.]
Ramiro: "What's in it for me if I pull this off?"
[Leon leans in and offers an enticing incentive.]
Leon: "I'll lend you some clean pairs of underwear for a week."
[Carlos, overhearing the conversation, chimes in with his own reason for Ramiro to accept the dare.]
Carlos: "And you better accept it, Ramiro. I can't put up with one more day of you being a danger to the environment."
[Ramiro, torn between the challenge and the thought of clean underwear, finally relents.]
Ramiro: "Fine, deal. Let's get those peppers."
[With the bet accepted, the trio heads further into the lodge, their camaraderie and willingness to take on challenges together on full display.]
[Intrigued, the others gather around Leon, exchanging mischievous glances. Ramiro, ever confident, raises an eyebrow and takes the peppers into his hands, then proceeds to eat them all at once.]
Ramiro: "It's not that bad."
[However, the intense heat quickly kicks in, causing Ramiro to react dramatically.]
Ramiro: "Hot! Hot! Hot!"
[He starts running around in a panic, heading for the sink to drink as much water as possible. Dirk and Leon watch him with amusement.]
Dirk: "Calm down, dude, you'll explode."
[Ramiro, still in distress, manages to mutter.]
Ramiro: "I need to go to the bathroom."
[The others can't help but laugh as they watch Ramiro's fiery predicament.]
CONFESSIONAL - DIRK AND LEON
[After witnessing Ramiro's fiery reaction to the chili peppers, Dirk and Leon step aside for a joint confessional. Both of them wear amused expressions, clearly finding the situation hilarious.]
Dirk: "Man, what a weak fella. Back in our hometown, we used to make all types of challenges with spicy food. This? Child's play."
[Leon tries to control his laughter but fails, erupting into uncontrollable chuckles.]
Leon: "I can't... I can't believe he fell for it!"
[Dirk joins in, and they both laugh uncontrollably, their mirth echoing through the confessional room. It's clear that they're thoroughly entertained by Ramiro's unexpected reaction.]
[The scene transitions to the campgrounds as Chris's voice booms through the loudspeakers.]
Chris: "Oh, campers! It's challenge time. Get yourselves to the amphitheater ASAP!"
[With collective sighs, the campers make their way to the amphitheater. The Swift Deers and Hazardous Bears take their respective seats on the benches, waiting for the challenge to commence.]
[Cut to the amphitheater. The atmosphere is one of quiet anticipation as the campers sit on the benches, their expressions unusually serious. Suddenly, Chris enters the scene, wearing some bizarre and over-the-top clothing that leaves everyone utterly baffled. The campers stare at him with straight faces, their silence almost palpable.]
CONFESSIONAL - ZANE
[Cut to a confessional booth with Zane, who can't contain his laughter. He bursts into a fit of giggles, swinging his feet back and forth, his infectious laughter filling the confessional.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[Quickly transition to another confessional with Danielle, who tries to stifle her laughter but fails miserably. She covers her mouth, her shoulders shaking as she succumbs to uncontrollable giggles.]
CONFESSIONAL - CARLOS
[Without missing a beat, transition to Carlos in the confessional booth, his laughter exasperated and breathless. He holds his stomach as he laughs, clearly amused by Chris's outrageous fashion choice.]
[Return to the amphitheater, where the once-serious atmosphere has been replaced with a chorus of laughter. The campers openly express their amusement, laughing uproariously as Chris McLean stands before them, looking increasingly annoyed at their reaction.]
[With the amphitheater now echoing with laughter, Chris McLean can't contain his annoyance any longer.]
Chris: "Alright, that's enough! You clearly don't appreciate fine fashion when you see it."
[In an attempt to prove his point, Chris flexes his outfit, as if showing off its supposed excellence. However, Kathy can't help but make a snarky comment.]
Kathy: "Nothing against you, Chris, but it looks like you found that outfit in a dumpster."
[Zane, sitting close to Kathy, chuckles at her remark, unable to hold back his laughter.]
[Chris, visibly offended and taking on his typical sadistic and sarcastic tone, retorts.]
Chris: "Oh, really? Well, some people just can't appreciate the avant-garde. Anyway, let me enlighten you all. Today's challenge is all about fashion."
[An exasperated Danielle, who takes fashion seriously, can't resist making a snarky comment.]
Danielle: "Fashion? Around this dump? Good luck with that."
[She smirks and continues her commentary, clearly unimpressed.]
Danielle: "I mean, have you seen these people? The sense of fashion here is severely lacking."
[Kathy, standing nearby, just shrugs her shoulders, seemingly unfazed by Danielle's fashion critique.]
Kathy: "Eh, fashion is overrated anyway."
[With a condescending tone, Danielle responds to Kathy's indifference.]
Danielle: "I suppose someone like you would think that."
[Kathy, not one to engage in a verbal sparring match, simply rolls her eyes at Danielle's remark, choosing not to dignify it with a response.]
[Chris, smiling but clearly exasperated, raises his hands.]
Chris: "Alright, settle down."
[He grins, clearly enjoying the chaos he's caused.]
Chris: "Now, for this particular challenge, we have a very special and fashion-savvy guest. Give it up for the one and only Anne Maria!"
[A hushed silence falls over the campers as Anne Maria, known for her sassy attitude and love for hairspray, makes her entrance. She struts in confidently, flicking her hair dramatically.]
Anne Maria: "Hey there, losers. Hope you brought your A-game 'cause you're lookin' at the queen of style."
[The campers exchange glances, unsure of how to react to Anne Maria's bold presence.]
CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO
[In the midst of the awkward silence that follows Anne Maria's entrance, Ramiro can't help but let out his bewilderment in a confessional.]
Ramiro: "Where did that walking Christmas tree come from?"
[He shakes his head in disbelief, clearly unimpressed by Anne Maria's flamboyant entrance.]
[As the silence lingers and the campers remain puzzled by Anne Maria's presence, Dirk leans over to Leon, whispering in curiosity.]
Dirk: "Who is that?"
[Leon shrugs, his memory a bit fuzzy.]
Leon: "I think she's an old contestant or something."
[Unfortunately for them, Anne Maria overhears their whispered conversation and bristles with annoyance.]
Anne Maria: "Old contestant? Excuse me, I'm an icon!"
[Chris decides to intervene, explaining the challenge with his trademark snark.]
Chris: "Alright, campers, listen up. Today's challenge is all about fashion, and Anne Maria, along with myself and Chef, will be judging your fashion prowess."
[The campers exchange glances, wondering what's in store.]
Chris: "Each team needs to come up with three different outfits, and the team that impresses the judges the most wins. The losing team, well, they'll be saying goodbye to one of their own."
[Bri chimes in.]
Bri: "What materials are we working with?"
[Chris smirks, his sarcasm dialed up.]
Chris: "Oh, I don't know. Maybe you'll find out if you, you know, find the materials."
[Iris, clearly not thrilled with the vague answer, questions further.]
Iris: "Find? Like, hunt for them?"
[Chris's grin widens, enjoying their confusion.]
Chris: "Bingo! You didn't think it'd be that easy, did you? Scattered around the island, you'll discover the clothing items you need to craft your outfits."
[Iris, with a resigned tone, remarks.]
Iris: "Of course, there's always a catch to these challenges."
[Chris grins, clearly relishing the twist.]
Chris: "You got it! Time's ticking away, campers. You've got two hours to scavenge the island for all the necessary clothing. After that, another two hours to come up with some fabulous outfits."
[Chris pulls out his signature horn, ready to set the challenge in motion.]
Chris: "On your marks... get set..."
[He blasts the horn loudly.]
Chris: "Go!"
[With the blaring horn, the campers disperse in all directions, eager to uncover the materials they need for the challenge.]
[As the campers rush out together, Iris takes charge, giving clear instructions to her team.]
Iris: "Alright, team, to cover more ground, we need to split up. Me, Blaise, and Carlos, we'll take the campgrounds. Ramiro, Bri, and Danielle, you're on forest duty. Deal?"
[Danielle, in her usual diva fashion, expresses her displeasure at the idea of going into the forest.]
Danielle: "Ugh, why do I have to go to the wilderness? If I have the option to stay somewhere clean, I'm not ruining my clothes in that mess."
[Carlos, trying to be accommodating, offers to switch with Danielle, calling her "Dani" as a nickname.]
Carlos: "Hey, Dani, I can go to the forest if you don't want to."
[Iris, however, insists on keeping Carlos on her team, revealing her ulterior motive.]
Iris: "No, Carlos, we need you here."
[She tries to hide the fact that she, simply, doesn't want to get separated from Carlos.]
[Blaise, growing impatient with the chatter, takes matters into his own hands and volunteers to switch with Danielle. His aggressive and egotistical nature shines through.]
Blaise: "Enough of this talk. I'll go to the forest. Ramiro, Bri, you losers better keep up."
[He pushes Bri and Ramiro, calling them an offensive nickname, and strides ahead toward the forest, leaving Carlos, Danielle, and Iris behind.]
[Iris, relieved to be with Carlos, takes charge.]
Iris: "Good, you're with me. Let's move."
[She leads Carlos and Danielle toward the campgrounds, while Blaise, Ramiro, and Bri head into the forest.]
[Meanwhile, over with the Swift Deers, they observe the Hazardous Bears splitting up for their search. Zane takes the initiative and suggests a similar plan.]
Zane: "Let's do what the Hazardous Bears did and split up. Rodrick, Kathy and I will search the campgrounds. Jackie, Dirk, Leon, and Emilia, you guys head to the forest. Everyone okay with that?"
[The team members nod in agreement, showing their readiness to execute the plan. Zane gives a confirming nod.]
Zane: "Great, let's move!"
[With a pat on Rodrick's back, Zane leads the way, and the trio, including Kathy, heads towards the campgrounds. Meanwhile, Jackie, Dirk, Leon, and Emilia venture into the forest, ready to scour for materials.]
[As Carlos, Iris, and Danielle venture towards the campgrounds, Carlos and Iris walk a bit ahead of Danielle, engrossed in a conversation about music. Carlos, with genuine enthusiasm, discusses how Iris has influenced his recent interest in rock music.]
Carlos: "Iris, seriously, thanks for getting me into rock lately. You gotta recommend me some new ones."
[Iris, sharing Carlos's enthusiasm for music, smiles.]
Iris: "Absolutely, Carlos. There are so many great bands out there. I'll make you a playlist."
[Their conversation shifts to a more somber note as Iris talks about her guitar.]
Iris: "By the way, you know how Ramiro accidentally broke my guitar?"
[Carlos nods, concerned.]
Carlos: "Yeah, of course. Did you manage to fix it?"
[Iris sighs, the memory still fresh.]
Iris: "I tried. It's playable now, but it will never be the same."
[Carlos tries to lighten the mood with a playful joke.]
Carlos: "Well, if Ramiro somehow wins the million, you know what to ask for, right?"
[Iris and Carlos share a laugh at the thought of Ramiro winning the competition.]
[Meanwhile, Danielle, lagging behind, appears visibly bored and annoyed with the conversation.]
Danielle: "Ugh, it's gonna be a long day."
[She rolls her eyes, clearly uninterested in their music talk, while Carlos and Iris continue chatting ahead.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[As Carlos and Iris continue their music-inspired conversation, Danielle, who lags behind and appears visibly bored and annoyed, can't help but express her frustration in a confessional.]
Danielle: "I ditched the forest, not because I'm afraid of getting dirty or anything. No, it's because I had plans, plans to work on Iris. But how am I supposed to manipulate her with all this lovey-dovey stuff between her and Carlos? It's gonna be difficult."
[She sighs, clearly irritated by the unexpected obstacle in her scheming.]
[As they walk, Iris suddenly notices their proximity to the camp's kitchen.]
Iris: "Hey, guys, we're pretty close to the kitchen. Wanna check it out?"
[Danielle, seizing the opportunity to gain Iris's favor, tries to suck up to her.]
Danielle: "Oh, that's a great idea, Iris! You always have the best ideas."
[Carlos and Iris continue walking towards the main lodge, and Iris rolls her eyes at Danielle's blatant attempt at flattery, not fooled for a second.]
[As Blaise, Ramiro, and Bri navigate through the forest, their eyes scanning for any signs of clothing materials, Bri spots something unusual high up in a tree and excitedly points it out.]
Bri: "Hey, guys, look! I found something up there!"
[However, Blaise and Ramiro don't pause for a second, dismissing her discovery.]
Blaise: "Come on, Bri, it's probably just a nest. Keep moving."
[But Bri is determined to prove them wrong. She takes matters into her own hands, summoning every ounce of strength and agility to climb the tree. After a bit of struggle, she manages to get onto a branch and screams down to them.]
Bri: "No, it's not a nest. It's a box!"
[Her triumphant tone is hard to ignore as she opens the box and discovers clothing items inside.]
Bri: "Jackpot!"
[Curious about the commotion, Ramiro and Blaise approach, and Bri climbs down from the tree. Blaise, giving credit where it's due, nods in acknowledgment.]
Blaise: "Alright, gotta give credit where it's due. Nice find, Bri."
Ramiro: "What do we have in there, Bri?"
[With excitement, Bri eagerly lists every type of clothing she finds in the box, her voice full of enthusiasm.]
Bri: "We've got shirts, pants, some jackets, and even a few hats!"
[Blaise, attempting to be optimistic, looks over the contents of the box.]
Blaise: "Not bad at all."
[Ramiro, sensing a chance for humor, tries his hand at a cringeworthy joke, and both Bri and Blaise exchange amused glances.]
Ramiro: "You know, this clothing might really 'suit' us."
[Bri and Blaise can't help but chuckle, then they continue walking past Ramiro. As they pass him, Blaise playfully swipes Ramiro's hat and places it on his own head.]
Ramiro: "Hey, what did I say wrong?"
[Bri, without missing a beat, retorts while walking ahead.]
Bri: "Ramiro, you've just been benched as a comedian after that one."
[Blaise, not one to mince words, chimes in.]
Blaise: "Seriously, that was a terrible, even for you."
[With a laugh, they continue their search for clothing materials in the forest, leaving a slightly embarrassed Ramiro behind.]
[As Zane, Rodrick, and Kathy search through the campgrounds, they come across an odd sight - a laundry basket sitting incongruously in the middle of the camp. Rodrick can't resist making a sarcastic comment.]
Rodrick: "A laundry basket in the middle of nowhere? Really? This is just too easy."
[With a smirk, he goes closer to investigate, but to his surprise, a group of chipmunks bursts out of the basket, jumping onto his face. Zane and Kathy can't help but burst into laughter at the comical scene.]
Zane: "Looks like you've made some new friends, Rodrick."
[Kathy, still chuckling, adds her own jest.]
Kathy: "Yeah, they seem to really like you."
[Rodrick, far from pleased with the chipmunks' antics, starts swatting them away. In the process, one of the chipmunks bites him on the cheek, causing him to scream in surprise and pain.]
CONFESSIONAL - ZANE
[Zane, now alone in the confessional, is thoroughly entertained by the chipmunk mishap, laughing heartily.]
Zane: "Oh, classic!"
[He wipes away tears of joy, thoroughly amused by the unexpected turn of events.]
[Amidst the laughter and commotion that follows Rodrick's unexpected encounter with chipmunks, his screams echo throughout the island. This transition to Dirk, Leon, Jackie, and Emilia, who are deep in the forest. Jackie raises an eyebrow at the distant screams.]
Jackie: "Did you guys hear that?"
[Leon, in his usual humorous style, makes light of the situation.]
Leon: "Sounded like... a flock of rubber chickens falling off a cliff or something."
[They continue walking through the forest, and Emilia notices something unusual about the forest floor. She can't help but speak up, delving into her passion for science.]
Emilia: "Alright, what we have here is a rare defect in the forest ecosystem. The soil composition suggests that..."
[However, before she can finish her sentence, the ground beneath them gives way, and they all tumble into a hidden pit. Emilia, amidst the chaos, manages to complete her thought with a resigned tone.]
Emilia: "...it's a set up."
[Now, they find themselves at the bottom of the hole, their curiosity leading them into an unexpected predicament.]
[As they find themselves at the bottom of the pit, Jackie, ever the resourceful one, spots a box and excitedly opens it, revealing a collection of clothing items.]
Jackie: "Well, on the bright side, we got what we wanted."
[However, Leon's practicality kicks in as he ponders their predicament.]
Leon: "Yeah, but how do we get out of here?"
[Dirk, with a mischievous glint in his eye, suggests a solution inspired by his own past experiences.]
Dirk: "Guys, I've got this. When I used to get lost at the mall as a kid, I knew just what to do."
[Jackie and Emilia exchange perplexed glances, unsure of where Dirk is going with this. Then, without warning, Dirk lets out a loud scream.]
Dirk: "Help! Mom! MOM!"
[Jackie and Emilia jump at the sudden outburst, startled by Dirk's antics, while Leon simply looks at him with an expression that suggests he's all too familiar with this type of behavior.]
[Jackie, clearly exasperated by Dirk's antics, turns to Leon, seeking his help.]
Jackie: "Can you make him stop?"
[Leon, who seems to have mastered dealing with Dirk's behavior over time, nods and manages to silence Dirk, putting an end to the loud cries for help.]
[Eventually, the sound of approaching footsteps reaches their ears, and Bri, Blaise, and Ramiro appear on the scene. Bri is visibly concerned, especially for Dirk, given their romantic connection. Ramiro and Blaise, on the other hand, can't help but find the situation amusing.]
Jackie: "Please, get us out of here!"
[Blaise, playfully elbows Ramiro, teasing his teammate.]
Blaise: "You seeing this, Ramiro? She's got better jokes than you."
[Blaise turns serious and gestures to move.]
Blaise: "Alright, let's go."
[He makes a run for it, and Ramiro follows suit.]
Ramiro: "Sorry, guys. I'm not the boss here."
[Bri stays behind, eager to help in any way she can.]
[Bri, determined to help her fellow campers, takes a step forward.]
Bri: "Hold on tight, guys. I'll get you something so you can climb up."
[She walks over to a nearby tree and tries to snatch a branch from it, but after a lot of effort, she returns to the hole, slightly disheartened.]
Bri: "Sorry, I can't help you."
[Emilia, always thinking critically, steps in with an idea.]
Emilia: "Jackie, what do we have in the box?"
[Jackie quickly responds.]
Jackie: "Some shirts and jackets."
[Emilia quickly gets to work, tying knots in the shirts to create a makeshift rope. She throws it up, but it doesn't quite reach the top. Bri, however, has another plan in mind.]
Bri: "Wait! I've got some shirts in the box too. I'll throw them to you."
[With a toss, Bri sends the shirts down, and Emilia is able to tie them together to extend the rope. Finally, it reaches high enough, allowing them all to climb up and escape the hole.]
[As they successfully climb out of the hole using the makeshift rope, Emilia expresses her gratitude to Bri.]
Emilia: "Thank you."
[Leon fist-bumps her in appreciation, and Dirk, with a warm smile, kisses her on the cheek, using the affectionate nickname "B."]
Dirk: "Thanks, B."
[Bri stands there, momentarily perplexed and frozen after Dirk's unexpected kiss on the cheek, her cheeks slightly flushed. Meanwhile, Dirk, Leon, and Emilia continue walking ahead.]
[Jackie, noticing Bri's reaction, stands beside her and gently tries to bring her back to reality.]
Jackie: "You like him, don't you?"
[Caught off guard and flustered by Jackie's direct question, Bri stammers as she tries to deny her feelings.]
Bri: "I, uh, I... no, I don't..."
[However, Jackie isn't easily fooled and leans closer, speaking softly.]
Jackie: "Bri, as your friend and former teammate, you can't lie to me. I know how to recognize when you're not telling the truth."
[Bri looks down, her cheeks still tinged with embarrassment, and finally, in a barely audible voice, admits.]
Bri: "Okay, fine, maybe I do."
CONFESSIONAL - JACKIE
[Jackie leans closer to the camera with a sly grin.]
Jackie: "I knew it!"
[She winks playfully before the confessional ends.]
CONFESSIONAL - BRI
[Transitioning to Bri's confessional, she reflects on her admission.]
Bri: "I can't believe I just admitted it. I mean, Dirk's kind of sweet, and he worries about me. He makes me feel weird things."
[She blushes slightly as she contemplates her growing feelings for Dirk.]
[Jackie, brimming with excitement after Bri's admission, turns to her with genuine enthusiasm.]
Jackie: "I knew it! What are you going to do now?"
[Bri, still flustered and cautious, responds with a hint of self-doubt.]
Bri: "I don't know, Jackie. Don't get too ahead of yourself. You know how I am."
[Jackie, adopting a more earnest tone, offers her friend some heartfelt advice.]
Jackie: "I know, but if you really like Dirk, you should have a genuine talk with him. Who knows what he might have to say to you?"
[Leaving Bri deep in thought, Jackie's words linger in the air, encouraging her to consider the possibilities.]
CONFESSIONAL - BRI
[Bri, alone in the confessional, reflects on Jackie's advice and her newfound resolution.]
Bri: "Yeah, you know what? Jackie's right. It's time I make something good for myself. I will finally talk to him."
[With determination in her eyes, Bri seems ready to take a step forward in exploring her feelings for Dirk.]
[While Bri and Jackie continue their conversation, Blaise and Ramiro, hidden behind a tree, eavesdrop on their discussion. Blaise, attempting to confirm if Ramiro heard the same thing, turns to him.]
Blaise: "You heard the same as me?"
[Ramiro, with a somewhat guilty expression, admits his involvement.]
Ramiro: "I'm sorry, that was me."
[Blaise, puzzled by Ramiro's confession, suddenly detects an unpleasant odor and quickly covers his nose.]
Blaise: "I'm talking about Bri and Jackie's conversation. It seems like our teammate has a crush on Dirk from the other team."
[Ramiro, showing mild interest, responds.]
Ramiro: "Oh, that's interesting. I wonder what Danielle will think about this."
[Blaise, realizing the potential impact of this revelation on the game, becomes more serious.]
Blaise: "We might have to work together to nip this in the bud. You know how it goes – a relationship can mean a powerful alliance in this game."
[The two competitors exchange a knowing look, understanding the strategic implications of what they've overheard.]
CONFESSIONAL - RAMIRO
[Ramiro leans in closer to the camera, a sly smile on his face.]
Ramiro: "That's the trick, you know? As long as there are bigger threats in the game, no one's really going to pay much attention to me. I can lay low, build some alliances, and stay safe for a while. Who would've thought that simply getting along with people could be this strategic?"
[He chuckles softly, clearly pleased with his approach to the game so far.]
[As Blaise and Ramiro notice that Bri is heading in their direction, Blaise wastes no time in urging them to move.]
Blaise: "Come on, Bri's heading this way. Let's move."
[Both Blaise and Ramiro quickly and discreetly relocate from their current spot, ensuring they won't be caught eavesdropping on Bri and Jackie's conversation.]
[The scene transitions to the amphitheater where Chris and Anne Maria are casually hanging out. Chris turns to Anne Maria with a hopeful expression.]
Chris: "Hey, Anne Maria, do you think I have any shot at becoming a model like you? Maybe you could hook me up with some contacts?"
[Anne Maria can't help but chuckle at the idea, her tone teasing.]
Anne Maria: "You, a model? Come on, Chris, you're dreaming."
[Chris, slightly annoyed by her response, crosses his arms.]
Chris: "You don't have to be so harsh about it."
[Anne Maria just smirks, finding the whole conversation rather amusing.]
[The scene transitions to the main lodge, where Iris, Carlos, and Danielle enter the kitchen. Unexpectedly, Chef bursts in from the back doors armed with a loaded water gun and warns them to stay back, fiercely protecting his domain.]
Chef: "Stay back! You don't want to be here. This is my kitchen!"
[Danielle, Iris, and Carlos immediately start taking cautious steps back, their arms raised in surrender. However, Danielle can't resist provoking Chef.]
Danielle: "Oh, come on, Chef. You're guarding this place like a hawk. And you hold that water gun like a girl."
[Chef, clearly annoyed by Danielle's taunts, gets even angrier. Meanwhile, Iris spots the box on top of the fridge.]
[In the midst of the chaos, Chef shoots his water gun at Carlos and Danielle, but Iris manages to dodge the attack and swiftly leaps up to retrieve the box. She grabs Carlos by the arm, and the two of them make a hasty exit, leaving Danielle behind.]
[Chef, with his water gun at the ready, advances on Danielle, clearly intent on spraying her again. However, Danielle, desperate to avoid another soaking, tries to strike a deal.]
Danielle: "I'll give you 50 bucks right now if you let me go. And if you tell me the location of another box."
[Chef, clearly not convinced by Danielle's initial offer, reloads his water gun, indicating that he's not going to let her off the hook easily. Danielle, realizing she needs to sweeten the deal, raises the stakes.]
Danielle: "Fine! 100 bucks!"
[Chef seems to ponder the offer for a moment, and then he decides to accept it. He puts his water gun away and nods in agreement.]
Chef: "Deal."
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[In a confessional, Danielle looks directly at the camera with a devious grin.]
Danielle: "I can't believe I am spending hundred bucks on that bison."
[She then lets out an exasperated sigh, realizing the costly lengths she's willing to go to achieve her goals.]
[Danielle quickly retrieves a 100-dollar bill from her pocket and hands it to Chef. After pocketing the money, Chef proceeds to give Danielle the information she's seeking.]
Chef: "Head to the lake. There's another box hidden in some beavers' lodge. And here's a tip, no one's checked near there yet. So you better hurry."
[Danielle wastes no time and immediately starts running toward the lake, eager to claim the next box. Chef, watching her go, can't help but mutter.]
Chef: "Not even a thank you?"
[He shakes his head in amusement before returning to his kitchen.]
[As Rodrick, Kathy, and Zane continue their search around the campgrounds, they find themselves near the communal toilet area. Rodrick, still dealing with the chipmunk situation, has the little creature clinging to his face. He's trying to punch it repeatedly as they walk.]
[In the midst of this, Iris and Carlos pass by them, but due to Rodrick's impaired vision, a collision occurs. The impact causes the chipmunk to let go, and Rodrick is finally freed. He grumbles as he adjusts himself.]
Rodrick: "Be more careful next time, Little Iris."
[Iris, not pleased with the nickname, shoots back with irritation.]
Iris: "I hate that nickname."
[Rodrick smirks.]
Rodrick: "Good."
[Iris playfully pulls her tongue out in mockery.]
[Carlos, being the helpful one, assists Iris to her feet, and Rodrick gets up on his own.]
Rodrick: "I see you got a box. Good for you."
[His words seem to hint at something, suggesting that Rodrick might be plotting something already.]
[As Rodrick observes the situation, he spots an opportunity. He suddenly points to the sky with a mischievous grin.]
Rodrick: "Look, Iris! A dead bird flying!"
[Iris, momentarily caught off guard by this bizarre statement, looks up, trying to make sense of it.]
Iris: "Uh, what?"
[However, before Iris can react, Rodrick forcefully shoves her with his elbows and snatches the box out of her hands.]
Rodrick: "Zane, Kathy, run! Run!"
[In the blink of an eye, Rodrick seizes the box, and with Zane and Kathy, they make a quick getaway, leaving Iris bewildered and momentarily disoriented.]
[As Rodrick, Kathy, and Zane make their escape, running away from the bewildered Iris, Kathy can't help but tease Rodrick.]
Kathy: "So, you learned that move in juvie?"
[Rodrick, panting from their quick getaway, looks at Kathy in confusion.]
Rodrick: "What?"
[Kathy grins mischievously, offering an analysis of Rodrick's tactics.]
Kathy: "That combo. Distract your victim and then attack. Pretty clever."
[Rodrick, still catching his breath, smirks.]
Rodrick: "What can I say? If you can't beat them, beat 'em up."
[They continue running, their laughter echoing through the camp as they clutch their newfound box.]
[As Iris gets up and Carlos expresses concern for her, he asks if she's okay.]
Carlos: "You okay?"
[Iris, still flustered by what just happened, responds with a touch of frustration.]
Iris: "I'm not. My pride took a hit. We need to get that box back."
[Carlos, however, suggests a different course of action.]
Carlos: "Forget it. We might as well look for another box. Let's try the communal toilet since we're already here."
[They cautiously enter the communal toilet, but the moment they step inside, they're hit with a pungent odor, and both quickly cover their noses.]
Iris: "What is this smell?"
[Carlos, with a knowing look, explains the source of the odor.]
Carlos: "Dirk, Leon, and I challenged Ramiro to eat ten hot chili peppers all at once. Let's just say they left his body as fast as they entered."
[Iris can't help but react with a mixture of amusement and disgust.]
Iris: "Gross. But where did you even get the chili peppers?"
[Carlos grins, sharing the amusing backstory.]
Carlos: "We raided Chef's kitchen this morning."
[Iris can't help but snicker at the audacity of their plan.]
Iris: "Nice. So, what did Ramiro get in return for completing that dare?"
[Carlos chuckles as he recalls the bet's terms.]
Carlos: "Leon promised to lend him a couple of clean pairs of underwear for a week."
[Iris bursts into laughter, clearly finding the situation hilarious.]
Iris: "He needed it, especially after that boat challenge. I couldn't stand being around him."
[Carlos joins in the laughter, nodding in agreement.]
Carlos: "You said it. But you know Ramiro, he's one of a kind."
[Iris smirks, shaking her head.]
Iris: "You mean gross? Yeah, I know."
CONFESSIONAL - IRIS
[In the confessional, Iris rolls her eyes and lets out an exasperated sigh.]
Iris: "I swear, why do these guys in camp have to turn everything into a competition? I mean, sure, the dare in question had a pretty good outcome, but seriously, do they have to make a game out of everything? At least now, I won't need to cover my nose every time Ramiro's around."
[She finishes with a smirk, clearly relieved that the bet had a somewhat positive outcome.]
[As Ramiro, Blaise, and Bri continue walking through the forest, Ramiro decides to start a conversation, a mischievous grin on his face.]
Ramiro: "So, Bri, you and Dirk seem to have been getting pretty cozy lately, huh?"
[Bri, initially caught off guard by the comment, stammers a bit before responding.]
Bri: "Well, we're just friends... for now."
[Ramiro, not one to let an opportunity pass, continues with a sly smirk.]
Ramiro: "Friends, huh? I've heard the 'just friends' thing before. You know what they say, love blossoms in the most unexpected places."
[Blaise, sensing that this is not the time for gossip, elbows Ramiro aggressively, a warning look in his eyes.]
[Bri, caught between the two, tries to defuse the situation.]
Bri: "Yeah, well, we're just friends."
[Blaise nods in agreement, silently thanking Bri for her response, while Ramiro, though silenced, can't help but grin mischievously as they continue their search for clothing materials.]
[As they proceed through the forest, Bri, deep in her thoughts, can't help but mutter softly.]
Bri: "I wonder how he's doing..."
[The scene transitions to Dirk, Leon, Emilia, and Jackie. Dirk and Leon are in high spirits, challenging each other to do silly dares and goofing around, much to Emilia and Jackie's annoyance.]
[However, Leon soon spots a bush filled with berries and decides to escalate things by daring Dirk to eat them, suggesting they could be poisonous.]
Leon: "Hey, Dirk, you up for a dare? How about those berries? They might be venomous!"
[Dirk, secretly terrified because he's severely allergic to berries but unwilling to admit it, hesitates.]
Dirk: "Well, if they're poisonous, I probably shouldn't..."
[Jackie chimes in, relieved that at least one of them seems sensible.]
Jackie: "Finally, some common sense."
[Leon, determined to push the dare further, playfully shoves Dirk.]
Leon: "Come on, don't be a wimp. They look perfectly edible to me."
[Despite his fear, Dirk resists, unwilling to take the risk. But Leon decides to take the dare into his own hands, plucking a berry from the bush and eating it with a grin.]
Leon: "See? No big deal."
[The tension between the group builds as they continue to test each other's limits, unaware of the seriousness of Dirk's situation.]
[As the tension continues to build in the background, Jackie takes a moment to talk quietly to Emilia, her frustration evident.]
Jackie: "You know, normally I wouldn't mind these two goofballs, but today, they're really getting on my last nerve."
[Emilia nods in agreement, the antics of Dirk and Leon clearly testing her patience as well.]
[With Leon's persistent encouragement, Dirk appears to be convinced, even though he's not too pleased with the idea. He reluctantly agrees.]
Dirk: "Alright, fine. I'll do it."
[Leon grins triumphantly, clearly enjoying pushing Dirk's boundaries.]
Leon: "I knew you wouldn't back down from a challenge."
[Dirk forces a fake laugh, trying to play along with Leon's daredevil attitude despite his growing unease.]
CONFESSIONAL - DIRK
[In a confessional, Dirk appears conflicted, sweat forming on his forehead as he admits to a life-threatening allergy to berries. He speaks with a mix of anxiety and determination.]
Dirk: "Okay, so, here's the thing. I've got this life-threatening allergy to berries. But, I mean, come on, it's just one berry, right? What's the worst that can happen?"
[Despite his attempt to reassure himself, the fear in his eyes is evident as he contemplates the risks he's about to take.]
[As the group watches, Dirk reluctantly picks a berry from the bush. He hesitates for a moment, glancing at Leon, who grins expectantly. Then, with a deep breath, Dirk eats the berry.]
[Almost instantly, Dirk's face contorts in pain, and he clutches his throat. It's clear that something is seriously wrong. His breathing becomes labored, and his lips and throat begin to swell rapidly. Panic sets in as it becomes apparent that Dirk is having a severe allergic reaction.]
[Leon's initial excitement turns to horror as he watches his friend's condition rapidly deteriorate.]
Leon: [panicked] "Dirk! Dirk, are you okay?"
[Jackie and Emilia, who were previously annoyed by the boys' antics, are now wide-eyed and terrified.]
Jackie: "Oh my gosh, what did he do?"
[Emilia quickly picks up her walkie-talkie, urgency in her voice.]
Emilia: [into the walkie-talkie] "Chris, this is Emilia. We have a medical emergency! Dirk is experiencing anaphylaxis from eating a wild berry! We need immediate medical assistance!"
[As Dirk's condition worsens, he struggles to breathe, and his face becomes increasingly swollen. The situation has taken a dire turn.]
[However, Chris's initial response is dismissive, and he wears a cynical smile.]
Chris: "And how does that concern me at all?"
[Emilia, not backing down, emphasizes the seriousness of the situation.]
Emilia: "He could die!"
[Chris remains nonchalant, focusing on his own priorities.]
Chris: "And?"
[Emilia, realizing she needs to speak his language, attempts to put it in terms Chris can understand.]
Emilia: "Come on, Chris. Dead contestant equals bad publicity, and bad publicity equals bad ratings, which means less money."
[Chris's demeanor changes as he suddenly becomes concerned about the potential impact on the show's ratings.]
Chris: "Wait, you're right! We can't have that! Get some interns to take care of the situation, pronto!"
[Emilia nods, relieved that Chris finally grasps the gravity of the situation, and she quickly calls for assistance over the walkie-talkie.]
CONFESSIONAL - CHRIS
[In a confessional, Chris sits sheepishly with his legs crossed and offers a seemingly sincere statement.]
Chris: "I want to clarify that in this show, we care a lot about the contestants' well-being, and it's not all about the ratings. Thanks!"
[Despite his words, his apparent fake smile betrays his true feelings, indicating that ratings do indeed matter quite a bit to him.]
[As Dirk's condition worsens, he clutches Leon's hand tightly, his eyes filled with both fear and regret for taking the dare. Leon, usually lighthearted and reckless, is now faced with the consequences of their dare.]
Leon: [panicking] "I don't get it, man. I ate a berry too, and I'm fine."
[Despite his confusion, the interns arrive promptly with a medical team. They administer first aid to stabilize Dirk, but it becomes evident that he requires specialized medical attention.]
[As Dirk is rushed away by the interns, Leon watches with a mixture of shock, guilt, and concern. Jackie places a hand on Leon's shoulder, offering silent support, as they all await news on Dirk's condition.]
[Emilia breathes a sigh of relief, knowing that help is on the way. She remains focused on Dirk, hoping they can stabilize his condition in time.]
[As Dirk's condition worsens, he grasps Leon's hand tightly, his eyes filled with both fear and regret for taking the dare. Leon, usually lighthearted and reckless, is now faced with the consequences of their dare.]
[The interns swiftly arrive on the scene with a medical team. They administer first aid to stabilize Dirk, but it's clear that he needs specialized medical attention.]
[As Dirk is rushed away by the interns, Leon watches with a mixture of shock, guilt, and concern. He realizes the gravity of the situation and the potential impact on his closest friend's life. Jackie places a hand on Leon's shoulder, offering silent support, as they all await news on Dirk's condition.]
[Meanwhile, Danielle arrives at the lake, determined to find the box that Chef pointed her to. She spots the beavers' lodge and hesitates for a moment before muttering to herself, trying to motivate herself with the thought of the prize money.]
Danielle: [murmuring to herself] "1 million dollars, 1 million dollars, 1 million dollars..."
[With her eyes fixed on the beavers' lodge, she takes a deep breath and heads towards it, determined to face whatever challenges lie ahead.]
[As she approaches the lodge, she waves at the beavers, trying to be friendly.]
[However, her attempt at friendliness backfires as two beavers suddenly leap at her, smacking her with their tails. She reacts in shock and pain.]
[Amidst the chaos, Danielle's phone flies out of her pocket, and she doesn't even notice. The relentless smacking causes her to lose balance, and she inadvertently steps on her own phone, causing her to fall.]
[The beavers, satisfied that she's no longer a threat, leave her alone. As Danielle gets up, she notices something under her foot and picks it up, realizing it's her phone. She looks at it somberly.]
Danielle: "What did I just step on?"
[Realizing it's her own phone, she grows agitated.]
Danielle: "You will pay for that!"
[With determination and aggression, she charges towards the beavers' lodge, shoving the beavers aside as she searches for the hidden box. One bold beaver competes with her for it, but Danielle's determination wins out. She opens the box, only to find it empty.]
[Danielle looks around and spots some beavers wearing clothes and accessories, leaving her both perplexed and annoyed.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[In the midst of her annoyance, Danielle finds herself in front of the camera for a confessional. She starts with a perplexed expression, raising her eyebrows in disbelief.]
Danielle: [raising an eyebrow] "Since when did beavers start dressing in human clothing?"
[She finishes her confessional with a dismissive wave of her hand, clearly not amused by the situation.]
[As Danielle charges at the beavers and snatches the clothing from their bodies, she displays surprising agility despite their attempts to defend themselves. She manages to stuff the clothing into the box, all while dodging their furious tail smacks.]
[After successfully securing the clothing, she makes a hasty retreat, sprinting away from the agitated beavers.]
[As Danielle runs away from the beavers' lodge, she continues to mutter to herself, clearly irritated by the entire ordeal.]
Danielle: [grumbling] "Stupid beavers, stupid shoes, stupid show."
[With her determination intact, she resumes her journey back to camp, clutching the now waterlogged box tightly.]
[In the amphitheater, Chris and Anne Maria are waiting for the contestants, and they're taken by surprise as Chef approaches, brandishing a water gun. Chris is visibly irritated by his presence.]
[As Danielle huffs and puffs her way back towards camp, determined to make it with her prize, we transition to the amphitheater where Chris and Anne Maria are engaged in a heated conversation. They notice Chef approaching with a water gun in hand, and Chris immediately expresses his irritation.]
Chris: "What are you doing here? You should be guarding the kitchen!"
[Chef, holding the water gun, looks somewhat sheepish as he approaches.]
Chef: "Uh, about that, Chris... Iris and Carlos managed to snatch a box from the kitchen."
[Chris, clearly annoyed by this news, raises his voice.]
Chris: "You had one job, Chef! Your pay is getting cut in half for this episode for such incompetence!"
[Chef grimaces, realizing the consequences of his actions.]
Chef: "My bad, Chris. Won't happen again."
[Chris, still agitated, instructs Chef to rectify the situation.]
Chris: "Don't just stand there! Go look for them!"
[Anne Maria, standing nearby, interjects with a comment about Chris's temperament.]
Anne Maria: "Hey, chill out, Chris. All that anger won't do any favors for your looks. You might get some more wrinkles."
[Chris, taken aback by her remark, questions her.]
Chris: "More wrinkles? What are you talking about?"
[Anne Maria, nonchalantly, responds.]
Anne Maria: "Come on, makeup did a decent job, but you're pushing 80, hon. Wrinkles come with the territory."
[Chris, flustered, corrects her.]
Chris: "I'm 45, not 80!"
[Anne Maria shrugs off the correction with a smirk.]
Anne Maria: "Same thing, pretty boy."
[As Danielle continues her journey back to camp, muttering to herself in annoyance, the scene transitions to the forest where Leon, Jackie, and Emilia are walking. Leon is noticeably melancholic, his mood worrying both Jackie and Emilia. Jackie tries to engage him in small talk, but Leon remains unresponsive.]
Jackie: "Hey, Leon, did I tell you about the time I climbed a—"
[Leon's lack of reaction prompts Emilia to intervene. She spots a box perched atop a tree.]
Emilia: "Look, there's another box up there."
[Jackie offers to retrieve the box and starts climbing the tree. She successfully reaches the box and calls down to Leon.]
Jackie: "I'll get it, Leon! Get ready to catch!"
[Leon, however, remains unresponsive, lost in his thoughts. Jackie throws the box at him, and it hits him in the face, knocking him down.]
[Emilia looks down at Leon with concern, her scientific knowledge kicking in.]
Emilia: "Based on the angle, the force applied, and the trajectory of the box, I estimate that Leon should regain consciousness in approximately one to two minutes."
[To their surprise, Leon stirs almost immediately, sitting up.]
Leon: "I'm okay..."
[However, his depressed demeanor remains unchanged. He continues to walk with a heavy heart, Jackie and Emilia exchanging worried glances as they try to figure out how to help him.]
[The scene transitions to the dock where Kathy, Zane, and Rodrick are relaxing for a bit. Rodrick holds the box in his hands, looking somewhat detached from the conversation happening around him. Kathy and Zane, on the other hand, engage in a conversation filled with chemistry, leaving Rodrick as the third wheel.]
[Kathy and Zane delve into their past, talking about their childhood experiences. Zane tries not to reveal too much about his real past and mostly listens. Kathy starts by reminiscing about her family's camping trips.]
Kathy: "My parents used to take me camping every summer. It's funny, being in this camp reminds me of those times. The camping club we would spend our weeks on was kind of like this one, but, of course, the memories there were better. Everything here is so stressful."
[Zane nods in agreement but doesn't share much about his own past. Instead, he tries to steer the conversation away from himself.]
Zane: "Sounds like a lot of fun. What about you, Rodrick? Any memorable childhood vacations?"
[Rodrick, with a playful tone, responds, drawing a laugh from Kathy and Zane.]
Rodrick: "Oh, you know, long days of punishment, locked in the house."
[Zane and Kathy burst into laughter at Rodrick's response, their bonding moment overshadowing Rodrick's more challenging upbringing.]
[As Kathy, Zane, and Rodrick engage in a conversation by the dock, they're unaware of Chef sneaking up behind them, water gun in hand. He playfully interrupts their conversation.]
Chef: "Ready for a spray?"
[Rodrick, always quick with a joke, turns to look behind, teasing Chef.]
Rodrick: "Watch out! Bigfoot arrived!"
[Chef, not amused by the comment, retaliates by spraying Rodrick with the water gun. Rodrick, caught off guard, stumbles and falls into the water, and the box he was holding drops.]
[Kathy, quick to react, grabs the box, and without hesitation, she and Zane make a run for it. Rodrick manages to climb out of the water, dripping wet and determined.]
Rodrick: "That's how you want to play? Come on, then."
[Chef, taking Rodrick's challenge in stride, responds confidently.]
Chef: "Make your move, kid."
[Rodrick, seemingly calm, suddenly lets out a high-pitched scream and dashes away, creating a humorous diversion as he flees from Chef's impending retaliation.]
[Rodrick, still dripping wet and now running in a panic, collides with Iris, who was with Carlos. They both tumble to the ground, and Iris seems thoroughly frustrated. Carlos holds the box they retrieved from the communal toilet.]
Rodrick: "Jeez, you keep falling for me."
[Iris, clearly annoyed by Rodrick's comment, quickly gets up and retorts.]
Iris: "Go to hell."
CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK
[As Rodrick collides with Iris and their tumble to the ground results in a heated exchange, he finds himself in front of the camera for a confessional. He starts with a playful grin and a shrug.]
Rodrick: "Go to hell? Nah, I've got reservations at a much nicer place. A paradise island, maybe, after I win the million. Well, half of it will fall on my family, of course. Gotta help them out. But then again..."
[He pauses, contemplating, his expression growing more thoughtful.]
Rodrick: "Which islands can you buy with 500,000 dollars?"
[With a mischievous smile, he leans back comfortably, evidently amused by his own musings, and the confessional ends.]
[With the box in hand, Iris and Carlos waste no time. They stand up and bolt away as they spot Chef approaching. Rodrick, still bewildered, calls out after them.]
Rodrick: "Wait. Where are you going?"
[Carlos shouts back over his shoulder.]
Carlos: "Good luck!"
[Rodrick finally realizes why they're fleeing and turns to see Chef closing in, and he starts to sprint in the opposite direction, the chase now on.]
[The scene transitions to Bri, Ramiro, and Blaise in the forest. They're taking a moment to relax now that they've obtained the box and are away from the immediate chaos of the challenge. Bri, in her element, is admiring the natural surroundings when a deer suddenly appears. She gently reaches out to caress it.]
[Bri's connection with the deer seems peaceful, but Blaise, having had a less pleasant experience with a deer before, in a previous episode, is visibly spooked by its presence and takes a step back, his eyes wide with apprehension.]
Blaise: "Uh, guys, I'm not so sure about this..."
[Ramiro, on the other hand, doesn't share Blaise's reservations. He playfully teases Blaise while also reaching out to pet the deer.]
Ramiro: "Come on, Blaise, it's just a deer. What's the worst that could happen?"
[However, as Ramiro extends his hand toward the deer, it unexpectedly bites his hand. Ramiro yelps in pain.]
Ramiro: "Ouch! What the-"
[Blaise, with an "I told you so" expression, nods at Ramiro.]
Blaise: "See?"
[Bri, though sympathetic to Ramiro's pain, defends the deer.]
Bri: "Ramiro, maybe you spooked the little creature."
[Blaise can't help but roll his eyes at the situation, clearly unamused.]
[However, their moment of tension is interrupted as Ramiro, seemingly unable to keep his mouth shut, slips up and asks Bri a question.]
Ramiro: "So, Bri, why'd you help the other team get out of the hole?"
[Blaise, realizing that Ramiro is about to stir up trouble, elbows him again, this time more forcefully.]
[Bri, surprised that Ramiro knows about her assistance to the other team, inquires cautiously.]
Bri: "You saw that?"
[Blaise sighs loudly, clearly frustrated with the situation.]
Blaise: "Yeah, you took a while to catch up to us."
[Bri explains her actions, defending her decision.]
Bri: "It wouldn't be fair to leave them there."
[Ramiro, however, can't resist pushing the issue.]
Ramiro: "You mean it wouldn't be fair to leave Dirk there?"
[His comment implies that Bri was more concerned about Dirk than the rest of them. Bri responds defensively.]
Bri: "So you did hear everything."
[Blaise confirms it with a simple nod. Bri, feeling awkward about the situation, can only mutter.]
Bri: "This is awkward..."
[Just then, they hear noise in the background and see Rodrick running away from Chef. Confused but not wanting to stick around, they join Rodrick in his escape.]
[Bri, Rodrick, Ramiro, and Blaise manage to find refuge in the boat house. Bri, trying to reassure the group, says softly.]
Bri: "I think he didn't follow us here."
[However, their moment of relief is shattered as Chef kicks the door down with a loud crash. He enters, brandishing the water gun, and tries to give them a scare.]
Chef: "Boo!"
[Chef begins to laugh maniacally, ready to unleash a spray of water on them. But just as he's about to do so, their moment of impending soaking is interrupted by Chris's voice booming over the loudspeakers.]
Chris: "Attention, campers! Make your way to the amphitheater with whatever you've found!"
[Chef reluctantly lowers the water gun and turns to the group.]
Chef: "You got lucky this time. Now move!"
[The group quickly exits the boat house, leaving Chef behind as they head to the amphitheater, uncertain about what this new development means for the challenge.]
[Both teams are now seated in their respective benches in the amphitheater. Chris stands on stage, preparing to reveal the results.]
Chris: "Alright, campers, time to reveal how many boxes each team managed to retrieve. The Hazardous Bears got themselves a whopping 3 boxes, while the Swift Deers also secured 3 boxes. Great job, teams!"
[As the campers begin to discuss who should be the canvases for the challenge, Bri, who is part of the Hazardous Bears, starts looking around and notices someone missing.]
Bri: "Wait, where's Dirk?"
[Chris can't help but chuckle.]
Chris: "Oh, Dirk's in the infirmary."
[Bri's concern is evident as she presses for more information.]
Bri: "What happened?"
[Jackie, wanting to protect Leon from embarrassment, steps in to explain.]
Jackie: "He ate some berries from the woods."
[Leon, feeling responsible for Dirk's condition, lowers his head, a mix of shame and remorse washing over him.]
Bri: "Why would he do that? Everyone knows that's dangerous."
[Leon is on the verge of admitting his involvement, but Jackie quickly intervenes, speaking over him.]
Jackie: "Well, Dirk thought they were edible. It was an honest mistake."
[Jackie's intention is clear: she's trying to shield Leon from further guilt and blame in front of the others, knowing he's already feeling bad about what happened.]
Chris: "Well, anyway, you have another hour to put up three different outfits, so, yeah, get backstage and get that ready, snappy!"
[With Chris's directive, both teams make their way to the backstage area and start sifting through the boxes they've obtained, each team strategizing and selecting the outfits they think will give them the best chance to impress the judges.]
[In the backstage area, the Hazardous Bears, consisting of Bri, Iris, Ramiro, Danielle, Blaise, and Carlos, are busy sifting through the items they've collected. Among the finds are some shirts, jackets, and a selection of earrings.]
[Ramiro picks up a pair of hula hoop earrings and playfully suggests a bold look for Blaise, which surprisingly triggers an aggressive reaction from Blaise, who seems offended by the idea.]
Ramiro: "Hey, Blaise, check these out! I can already picture you rocking these. Would be a killer look, for sure."
[Iris chimes in, adding a touch of humor to the situation.]
Iris: "More like a look killer."
[She chuckles at her own joke, but then notices Bri looking worried. Iris leans closer to her and asks softly.]
Iris: "What's up?"
[Bri, still concerned about Dirk, whispers to Iris.]
Bri: "Iris, can you vouch for me? I want to visit Dirk in the infirmary."
[Iris nods understandingly.]
Iris: "Of course. I got your back."
[Bri quietly departs from the group, and Blaise notices her leaving.]
Blaise: "Where's she going?"
[Iris quickly comes up with a cover story.]
Iris: "To the bathroom."
[She discreetly gives Bri a thumbs-up as she goes. Ramiro and Blaise exchange knowing glances, sensing that something is amiss.]
CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE
[In a confessional, Blaise leans forward, his expression serious and determined.]
Blaise: "I might not be the brightest, but I'm no fool. Bri's sneaking to see Dirk at the infirmary. If she keeps putting love before the game, she's dead weight. We can't risk her sabotaging our team for her boyfriend's team. This isn't a dating show, the game's what matters."
[Blaise's intensity shines through in his words as he expresses his frustration with Bri's actions.]
[Inside the medical tent, the atmosphere is tense. Dirk is laid down on one of the beds, his condition deteriorating. His throat and lips are visibly swollen, and he's struggling to breathe. Despite his discomfort, he manages to muster a weak greeting as Bri enters.]
Dirk: [struggling] "Hey..."
[Bri's concern is evident as she takes a seat beside him. She can see how unwell he is.]
Bri: "Dirk, I came to check on you, but it looks like you're not feeling alright. If you want to rest, I can leave you be."
[As Bri starts to stand up and turn away, Dirk summons what little strength he has left and manages to grab her arm, his grip weak but desperate.]
Dirk: [gasping] "Wait..."
[Bri immediately returns to his side, her hand gently held in Dirk's trembling grasp. She places her other hand on top of their joined hands, a silent gesture of support and comfort. Dirk's breathing is labored, but he manages to speak, though his voice is barely more than a whisper.]
Dirk: [weakly] "I'm... I'm so sorry..."
[Bri, puzzled by his apology, looks at him with a mixture of concern and curiosity.]
Bri: "Sorry? For what?"
[Dirk hesitates for a moment, then confesses, his voice strained.]
Dirk: "I'm allergic... to berries. I only ate it because Leon challenged me. You know how it is, I didn't want to back down from a challenge... I thought I'd be fine."
[Bri's expression softens as she realizes the gravity of the situation. She gently squeezes his hand.]
Bri: "Dirk, you don't have to prove anything to anyone. Your health is more important than any dare. We need to get you help."
[Dirk's voice remains strained as he continues to speak.]
Dirk: "They... they want to evacuate me out of the competition. Get proper help at a hospital."
[Bri's eyes widen in shock, her heart sinking at the news. She releases Dirk's trembling hands and stands up, her expression a mix of disbelief and distress.]
Bri: "What?! But... Dirk..."
[Dirk, still struggling to breathe, nods weakly.]
Dirk: "Here... they have limited resources to treat my allergy attack. They say I have to leave."
[Bri, overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events, can't hold back her emotions. She abruptly leaves the medical tent, her mind racing with worry and uncertainty about Dirk's well-being.]
[Inside the tent, Dirk watches her go, a sense of regret and concern in his eyes. He knows that his actions have not only endangered his health but also put a strain on their budding romance.]
[Outside the medical tent, Bri walks away in a daze, her mind spinning with worry and confusion.]
CONFESSIONAL - BRI
[In the confessional booth, Bri's eyes are red-rimmed from tears, and her voice quivers with emotion.]
Bri: "When I finally work up the courage to open up to Dirk about how I feel, he has to leave the competition? What kind of luck is this...?"
[She wipes away a tear, her heart heavy with concern for Dirk's well-being.]
[Meanwhile, the Swift Deers, consisting of Zane, Rodrick, Jackie, Kathy, Emilia, and Leon, are gathered around, sorting through the items they found in the boxes to determine which outfits will work best for their upcoming challenge. They engage in a lively discussion, sharing ideas and opinions.]
[Leon, however, has something on his mind and discreetly signals to Jackie that he wants to talk privately. The two of them step down from the stage, finding a moment away from the others.]
Leon: [softly] "Jackie, why did you lie for me earlier?"
[Jackie, her expression sincere, offers an understanding smile.]
Jackie: "Because, Leon, I could see you were already feeling bad enough about what happened. You didn't need the weight of the others thinking you were guilty on your shoulders. It's not healthy for you."
[She looks around at their team, emphasizing their need to stay united.]
Jackie: "Besides, we're already short a member with what happened to Dirk. We can't afford to be down two members. We need you to focus."
[Leon is touched by her concern and understanding. In response, Jackie decides to give him a comforting hug, sensing that he could use it. Leon, initially surprised by the hug, eventually embraces her, and a few tears escape from his eyes.]
[Rodrick, who has been observing the private conversation between Jackie and Leon, can't help but feel a mix of jealousy and curiosity. He leans in closer to Zane, who is nearby, and mutters under his breath.]
Rodrick: "You see that? What's up with those two?"
[Zane, wearing an air of indifference, casually shrugs.]
Zane: "How am I supposed to know?"
[Rodrick continues to watch Jackie and Leon, his gaze filled with a hint of anger and resentment, particularly because he has an interest in Jackie and their growing connection is making him uneasy.]
CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK
[In a confessional booth, Rodrick wears a veneer of indifference, but beneath the surface, there's a clear sense of jealousy and irritation in his tone as he speaks.]
Rodrick: "Not that I care or anything, but what's Jackie doing with Leon? I mean, it's just... I can't lose my chance, you know? Girls, they're like putty in your hands when they're in love. Right now, I've got her sympathy on my side, which is a safe spot to be in. But I can't have Leon ruin that."
[His words might seem calculated, but they're driven by a mixture of jealousy and a desire to maintain control over the situation, especially concerning his feelings for Jackie. Rodrick is concealing his affection for her behind this strategic façade.]
[As the Swift Deers continue to sift through their newfound items, Zane's sharp eyes spot a peculiar zombie mask among the stash. He can't help but raise an eyebrow in puzzlement.]
Zane: "Why on earth is this here?"
[Without much thought, Zane decides to don the zombie mask, pulling it over his face. He begins making strange, exaggerated zombie noises and playfully lurches toward Kathy, his arms outstretched as if to grab her.]
Zane: [in a faux spooky tone] "I'm coming for your brains, Kathy!"
[Kathy can't help but chuckle at Zane's antics. She reaches over and gently removes the mask from his face.]
Kathy: "Okay, Zane, we definitely won't need that. But you do make a pretty convincing zombie."
[Time passes as Zane continues to examine the various clothing items they've acquired. He eventually grabs a pair of pants and a shirt that clearly don't match at all. He mutters to himself, feeling a bit self-conscious.]
Zane: "Thank goodness I never pursued the arts. I'm not creative at all."
[Kathy, always drawn to the darker and more unconventional side of things, suggests with enthusiasm.]
Kathy: "We could make something dark, you know. I'd be willing to model for it."
[Zane's face lights up at Kathy's suggestion, but he stumbles over his words, realizing the unintended implication in his response.]
Zane: "Couldn't have anyone more perfect... I mean, as a model, of course."
[Kathy blushes, and Zane quickly corrects himself, feeling a tad flustered. He rubs the back of his head, trying to smooth over his mistake.]
[As Zane and Kathy discuss their creative ideas, Emilia, who has been holding a helmet in her hands nearby, accidentally drops it right onto Kathy's foot. Kathy winces in pain.]
[Emilia, who tends to have a nerdy side, quickly offers a half-hearted, somewhat awkward apology.]
Emilia: "Sorry about that, Kathy. You know, gravity can be quite unpredictable sometimes."
[Kathy raises an eyebrow, not entirely convinced by Emilia's apology, but she lets it slide for now. Unbeknownst to Kathy, Emilia's mishap wasn't entirely accidental, as she has a subtle interest in Zane as well. She quickly tries to redirect her attention to Zane, hoping to make a positive impression.]
CONFESSIONAL - KATHY
[Kathy, sitting alone in the confessional booth, looks thoughtful as she speaks.]
Kathy: "If I didn't know any better, I'd swear Emilia's hatred for me is somehow about Zane. But that can't be, right? She's pretty much emotionless most of the time."
[She tilts her head to the side, pondering the odd dynamics at play within their group.]
[On the other side of the curtains, Anne Maria, Chris, and Chef are waiting impatiently. Anne Maria sighs dramatically, clearly growing bored.]
Anne Maria: "I'm gettin' real tired of waitin' here, Chris."
[Chef nods in agreement.]
Chef: "Yeah, this is draggin' on."
[Chris checks the time on his watch.]
Chris: "We've still got 40 minutes left, guys. Hang in there."
[Anne Maria rolls her eyes and huffs.]
Anne Maria: "A lady shouldn't be kept waitin' this long."
[The scene transitions to Bri returning to the stage. Ramiro, with a snarky tone, teases her about taking her time in the bathroom.]
Ramiro: "Took your sweet time in the 'bathroom,' huh?"
[Bri plays along, a bit awkwardly.]
Bri: "Yeah, you know, there wasn't any toilet paper..."
[She laughs at the end of her sentence, trying to diffuse the situation.]
[Iris dismisses Ramiro's comment with a chuckle and shifts the focus back to their progress.]
Iris: "Alright, let's get back on track. We're done with the outfits, Bri."
[Iris holds up three distinct outfits, each with its own unique style and flair.]
Iris: "So, here they are."
Outfit One: A sleek, black ensemble with metallic accents, giving off a futuristic and edgy vibe. It's perfect for a high-tech challenge.
Outfit Two: A vibrant, colorful outfit featuring a mix of patterns and textures. It's fun and energetic, ideal for a challenge that requires creativity and enthusiasm.
Outfit Three: A more formal, elegant outfit with clean lines and muted colors. It exudes sophistication and is suitable for challenges with a touch of class.
[Iris showcases each outfit to Bri, eager to hear her thoughts and input.]
Bri: "Wow, they look good."
[Rodrick, overhearing the compliment, can't resist the chance to mock them.]
Rodrick: "Good, huh? Well, they ain't better than what we've got."
[Iris, not one to back down from a challenge, narrows her eyes at Rodrick and steps closer, a competitive glint in her eyes.]
Iris: "Oh, really? Let's see then. Show us what you've got."
[Rodrick, never one to shy away from competition, smirks and gestures to his team's creations.]
Rodrick: "Alright, feast your eyes on these."
Outfit One: A rebellious punk-rock-inspired ensemble featuring torn jeans, a leather jacket adorned with spikes, and chunky combat boots. It screams edgy and defiant, perfect for a challenge requiring attitude.
Outfit Two: A sleek, futuristic outfit with metallic elements and LED accents. It's both stylish and high-tech, designed for a challenge set in the future.
Outfit Three: A glamorous evening gown in deep crimson, adorned with sequins and a dramatic train. It oozes sophistication and is fit for a challenge with a touch of elegance.
[Rodrick showcases each outfit with confidence, ready to take on Iris's challenge.]
[As Iris and Rodrick engage in their competitive showcase, Carlos can't help but chime in.]
Carlos: "They all look so..."
Iris: "...dark."
[Kathy, who was part of the team that came up with the outfits, feels a strong urge to defend their choices. She boldly chimes in.]
Kathy: "Yeah, we like it like that! And just so you know, you're gonna lose."
[Her words carry a hint of mockery, aimed at Iris and Carlos.]
[Kathy then realizes that her tone was a bit too aggressive, which isn't like her usual self.]
Kathy: "Sorry, that wasn't like me at all..."
[As Kathy apologizes for her sudden aggressiveness, Rodrick, always one to seize an opportunity for a playful flirtation, leans in slightly closer, placing a hand on her shoulder in a flirtatious manner.]
Rodrick: [smirking] "No need to apologize, Kathy. We're gonna give 'em a run for their money. Literally, because one of them is packing and going home."
[He punctuates his statement with a wink at Kathy, clearly enjoying the playful banter. Kathy, in turn, plays along and leans into the flirtation, giving Rodrick a sly grin and a wink of her own, aiming to provoke Zane.]
Kathy: [teasingly] "Oh, you know it. We've got this in the bag."
[Zane, who has been keeping a close eye on Kathy and Rodrick's interaction, can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. He tries to hide it, but it's clear that he's affected by their playful exchange.]
[Jackie, who also has her own budding connection with Rodrick, senses the underlying tension but tries her best to maintain her composure. She shoots a quick, subtle glance at Rodrick, showing that she's not unaffected by the situation.]
[Meanwhile, the Hazardous Bears look on at Rodrick, annoyed by his comment about someone going home.]
CONFESSIONAL - ZANE
[Zane, sitting alone in the confessional booth, rubs his temples in frustration.]
Zane: "I don't know why, but that brief moment between Kathy and Rodrick... it affected me. It was so out of place too. I mean, I thought Rodrick was into Jackie, big time."
[He lets out a sigh, clearly torn by his own emotions and the developing dynamics within their group.]
CONFESSIONAL - JACKIE
[In a confessional booth, Jackie's expression shifts from her usual calm demeanor to one of frustration and jealousy.]
Jackie: "I don't know what's up with Rodrick and Kathy now. I mean, not like I care, but I've been trying so hard to be nice to him, and this is how he repays me? At least show a bit more interest on that. Next time, I won't go easy on him."
[Her words carry a hint of anger and frustration, revealing the underlying jealousy she's been trying to suppress. Jackie's emotions are starting to bubble to the surface as she contemplates Rodrick's actions.]
[Jackie may be trying to maintain her composure, but the competition and the budding connections within the group are clearly starting to get to her.]
CONFESSIONAL - RODRICK
[In a devious and calculating confessional booth scene, Rodrick rubs his hands together and chuckles softly to himself.]
Rodrick: "Ah, that little exchange with Kathy worked like a charm. Jackie must be really confused and angry right now, just what I wanted. I had to get back to her after that chat of hers with that wimp. And as a bonus, Zane also seemed to be affected, which can cause him to become distant. That way, I can keep him under his toes and ensure he doesn't leave our alliance because there, he will need my help once the team decides to vote him out for being distracted. My performance with Kathy doesn't end here. Not at all."
[His tone carries an air of satisfaction, as if he's successfully executed another strategic move in the ongoing game.]
[Meanwhile, on the other side of the stage, Chris, Anne Maria, and Chef are waiting impatiently.]
Chris: [using his megaphone] "Alright, campers, time's up! Wrap it up and start preparing for the runway! And you better pick your models pronto!"
[He chuckles into the megaphone, his amusement evident.]
[The contestants on both teams start bustling around, getting ready for the upcoming challenge, with the tension and rivalries intensifying as the moment of truth approaches.]
[Around the busy backstage area, Kathy, confident and ready to make a statement, suggests herself as a model for the third outfit: a glamorous evening gown in deep crimson, adorned with sequins and a dramatic train. It oozes sophistication and is a perfect fit for a challenge with a touch of elegance.]
Kathy: [with a determined look] "I've got this, guys. This gown's practically made for me."
[Emilia, initially caught off guard by Kathy's assertiveness, quickly regains her composure and tries to show support, albeit in her own unique way.]
Emilia: [in an aggressive tone] "Yeah, Kathy, break a leg!"
[However, Emilia realizes her words might have come off too strong and quickly softens her tone.]
Emilia: [muttering to herself] "Or not... I mean, good luck."
CONFESSIONAL - LEON
[Cut to a confessional with Leon, who looks somber and somewhat out of place amidst all the backstage drama.]
Leon: "Honestly, without Dirk, I feel like I'm stuck in the middle of a romance drama that's getting a bit too boring. Our team seems to be struggling, and I'm not sure where I fit in anymore."
[His words reflect his growing sense of disconnection from the team dynamics, especially with the increasing tensions and rivalries.]
[Rodrick steps forward with a swagger and grinning broadly.]
Rodrick: [with a cocky tone] "Punk's practically my middle name, guys! I'll rock that first outfit."
[Leon, seemingly unfazed by Rodrick's declaration, responds with a dry sense of humor.]
Leon: [nonchalantly] "Well, that's not a good thing at all."
[His remark earns a few chuckles from Jackie, who finds Leon's bluntness rather amusing.]
[Emilia, always ready to take on a challenge, steps up next with a confident smile.]
Emilia: "I'll handle the second outfit, the futuristic one with all the tech stuff. It's right up my alley."
[Zane nods in agreement.]
Zane: "Sounds good to me. What do you think, Jackie, Leon?"
[Jackie smiles and gives a thumbs up in approval, clearly excited about the prospect. Leon, however, remains indifferent and somewhat unhappy, not saying anything but simply shrugging.]
[Leon's subdued demeanor continues to reflect his unhappiness, mainly due to Dirk's injury, which has left him feeling disconnected from the team dynamics.]
[As the Hazardous Bears huddle together, Blaise, their team leader, wears a look of clear discontent.]
Blaise: [frustrated] "I'm really not thrilled with the outfits we came up with."
[Iris, never one to hold back her snark, smirks at Blaise's comment.]
Iris: [sarcastically] "Well, if you wanted better outfits, maybe you should've hired a stylist."
[She doesn't seem bothered by Blaise's dissatisfaction and proceeds to take charge.]
Iris: "I'll be the model for the second outfit. It's got that fun, creative vibe, and that's totally my thing."
[Iris then holds out the third outfit towards Bri, who looks a bit shy and hesitant.]
Iris: "Bri, how about you? Willing to give the third outfit a shot?"
[Bri, blushing and slightly uncomfortable, responds softly.]
Bri: "Um, I'm not really a fan of walking on runways and stuff..."
[Before Bri can finish her sentence, Danielle snatches the outfit out of her hands with a determined expression.]
Danielle: "I'll take it. No problem."
[She seems eager to step up and seize the opportunity, not wanting to let it go to waste.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[With a triumphant grin, Danielle clutches the third outfit and heads to the changing area. She then enters a confessional booth, exuding a self-assured attitude that matches her mean-spirited personality.]
Danielle: [smirking] "Oh, this is my moment, alright. It's high time that brands and model agencies start recognizing my talent. I'm going to own that runway and show them what they've been missing."
[Her confidence and ambition shine through, even if her methods are less than savory. Danielle is determined to make the most of this opportunity to advance her own agenda, regardless of the team's success.]
[Meanwhile, Iris takes a moment to scan the boys - Ramiro, Carlos, and Blaise - pensively considering who would be the best choice to model the first outfit. It's a sleek, black ensemble with metallic accents, exuding a futuristic and edgy vibe - perfect for a high-tech challenge.]
[Iris, always keen to be inclusive and perhaps poke some fun at Blaise, starts looking at him with a playful glint in her eye. Blaise, catching onto her intentions, begins to complain.]
Blaise: [protesting] "Wait, what? No way, Iris. I'm not doing this."
[Iris, feigning innocence, interrupts him with mock sincerity.]
Iris: [cheerfully] "Oh, it wasn't a question. You'll do it."
[With a mischievous grin, Iris reaches out and ruffles Blaise's red hair playfully, causing it to become even more disheveled.]
CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE
[In a confessional, Blaise appears already dressed in the sleek, black ensemble with metallic accents, looking somewhat ridiculous. He sighs, clearly not thrilled with his current attire.]
Blaise: [grimacing] "I look... ridiculous. Seriously, metallic accents? I feel like a robot from a B-list sci-fi movie."
[He rubs his temples in mock frustration, clearly resigned to the fact that he's about to embark on this rather unconventional runway challenge, whether he likes it or not.]
[With the preparations underway and the contestants in their respective outfits, Chris steps up with his megaphone.]
Chris: [using his megaphone] "Alright, Hazardous Bears' first model, get ready!"
[Blaise, now dressed in the sleek, black ensemble with metallic accents, reluctantly steps onto the runway. He begins to walk down the runway, feeling a bit awkward in the unfamiliar attire. As he proceeds, the Swift Deers on the other side of the curtains burst into laughter, finding his appearance rather amusing.]
[Not one to be outdone, the judges - Chris, Chef, and Anne Maria - join in the laughter, their amusement evident. Even a nearby squirrel can't resist joining in the merriment, letting out a series of tiny laughs.]
[Blaise, feeling the pressure of the laughter building up around him, suddenly explodes in a fit of mock frustration. He turns toward the squirrel and addresses it in a funny, over-the-top manner.]
Blaise: [playfully threatening] "Hey, you! You think this is funny? How about I come over there and start talking about your precious nuts, huh?"
[The squirrel, clearly intimidated by Blaise's theatrics, scampers off in a hurry, adding to the laughter of the onlookers.]
[As Blaise makes his way down the runway, Chris observes with a skeptical expression.]
Chris: [raising an eyebrow] "Okay... I'll give it a solid 4. The model sucks, but the clothes, not so much."
[Chef, on the other hand, has a different take.]
Chef: [nodding] "Looks pretty badass, but like Chris said, the model sucks. I'll give it a 5."
[Anne Maria can't resist throwing in her own snarky commentary.]
Anne Maria: [rolling her eyes] "Well, well, well, ain't this a sight. Blaise here is probably gonna be the worst model we'll see today. It's a 2."
[Her blunt assessment earns a chuckle from Chris and a nod of agreement from Chef, solidifying their scores for Blaise's performance.]
CONFESSIONAL - BLAISE
[After his less-than-stellar runway performance and the squirrel incident, Blaise heads into a confessional booth, clearly frustrated.]
Blaise: [annoyed] "Ugh, I hate squirrels."
[He grumbles to himself, clearly still miffed about the squirrel's untimely laughter during his runway walk. Blaise's irritation with the woodland creatures is quite evident.]
[After the judges, Chris, Chef, and Anne Maria, have given their scores for Blaise's runway performance, Chris steps forward and announces the tally.]
Chris: "Alright, folks, Blaise from the Hazardous Bears managed to rack up a total of 11 points for his team!"
[He emphasizes the score, making it clear that Blaise's performance was less than stellar despite the commendable outfit.]
[Chris, using his megaphone, announces the next model for the Swift Deers.]
Chris: "Next up, representing the Swift Deers, we've got Rodrick!"
[Rodrick, wearing the rebellious punk-rock-inspired ensemble with torn jeans, a spiked leather jacket, and chunky combat boots, confidently strides onto the runway. He exudes attitude and swagger as he approaches the judges' panel.]
[Once Rodrick reaches the judges, Chris offers his critique.]
Chris: [thoughtfully] "Well, not bad at all. I'm digging the '80s style, but I gotta say, those boots? Not my thing. It's a 6."
[Chef, on the other hand, has a different take.]
Chef: [nodding approvingly] "I don't know what Chris is talking about. I think it looks pretty rad. It's a 7."
[Chris rolls his eyes at Chef's response, clearly not sharing the same enthusiasm.]
[Anne Maria, seemingly uninterested, gives her own score.]
Anne Maria: [disinterested] "Eh, whatever. It's a 4."
[The judges' mixed opinions reflect the divisive nature of Rodrick's runway performance.]
Chris: "So, with Rodrick's performance, the Swift Deers have scored a total of 17 points and they are now in the lead!"
[The Swift Deers respond with cheers, as they take the lead in the challenge.]
[As Chris gets ready to announce the second model for the Hazardous Bears, Iris steps forward confidently. She exudes charisma and strikes cute and playful poses as she makes her way down the runway. Carlos, on the other side of the curtains, is completely captivated by her presence.]
[Iris finally reaches the end of the runway and approaches the judges' panel. Chris, taking the lead in offering feedback, gives his score.]
Chris: [impressed] "Iris, that was an 8 for me."
[Chef, however, has a different perspective.]
Chef: [raising an eyebrow] "A bit too colorful for my taste. It's a 6."
[Anne Maria, seizing the opportunity to mock Chef, adds her own score.]
Anne Maria: [mocking] "Well, isn't that exactly what was missing in the other two outfits? I'm giving it a 9."
[Chris tallies up the scores for Iris's runway performance with enthusiasm.]
Chris: "Iris just tallied a total of 23 points for the Hazardous Bears!"
[Iris exits the runway with a satisfied smile, and as she reaches the backstage area, she high-fives Carlos, acknowledging their successful moment.]
[With the Hazardous Bears back in the lead, Chris prepares to announce the second model for the Swift Deers. The outfit is a sleek, futuristic design with metallic elements and LED accents, perfect for a challenge set in the future. Emilia confidently walks down the runway, but the judges' reactions are less than favorable.]
[Once Emilia reaches the end of the runway, Chris starts the feedback.]
Chris: [not very impressed] "Emilia, that's a 3 for me. Somewhat interesting design, but it's still a miss."
[Chef shares a similar sentiment.]
Chef: [shaking his head] "The model's not doing it for me either. I'll give it a 4."
[Anne Maria, being her usual blunt self, delivers a low score with a snarky comment.]
Anne Maria: [mocking] "Back to the drawing board, honey. It's a 1."
[Emilia, maintaining her composure, doesn't show her disappointment and exits the runway gracefully.]
[Emilia, now backstage, is approached by Zane, who offers her some words of encouragement.]
Zane: [supportive] "You know, Emilia, those judges wouldn't know fashion if it hit them in the head. In my opinion, you were awesome out there!"
[Emilia, trying to maintain her composure and not show too much emotion, responds with a somewhat cold tone.]
Emilia: [coolly] "Thanks."
[Zane seems a bit confused by Emilia's response, not understanding the complexities of her feelings, especially given recent tensions between her, Kathy, and himself.]
[The scene transitions to Chris, Chef, and Anne Maria, who are discussing the judges' harsh ratings for Emilia's performance.]
Chef: [concerned] "Anne Maria, you were a bit harsh on that rating for that poor girl."
[Anne Maria, never one to back down, retorts with her usual sass.]
Anne Maria: [defensive] "Well, someone's gotta have standards around here. Chef, have you ever considered getting a stylist? Your fashion sense is a disaster."
[Chris, amused by their banter, interjects with a mischievous grin.]
Chris: [chuckling] "It's all good for the ratings, man. You know the viewers love watching these teenagers' dreams being crushed."
[Chris's comment highlights his somewhat callous and ratings-driven approach to the show's challenges, leaving Anne Maria and Chef to exchange incredulous glances.]
[As the tension builds with the score standing at 34-25 in favor of the Hazardous Bears, Chris uses his megaphone to announce the next model for the Hazardous Bears.]
Chris: [energetic] "Let's keep the runway rolling! Next up for the Hazardous Bears, we've got Danielle!"
[Danielle steps onto the runway wearing the third and final outfit, a more formal and elegant ensemble with clean lines and muted colors. She exudes confidence and dominates the runway, striking numerous model poses. Anne Maria can't help but voice her approval.]
Anne Maria: [enthusiastic] "Now, that's what I like to see!"
[Danielle wears a smirk and a smug expression as she approaches the judges' panel. Chris is the first to give feedback.]
Chris: [impressed] "A solid 10, Danielle. Simple and impactful design, and you rocked it!"
[Chef, agreeing with Chris, also awards a 10.]
Chef: [nodding] "I'm with Chris on this one. That's a 10."
[Anne Maria, while giving a high score, also offers some advice.]
Anne Maria: [supportive] "Great job, Danielle! It's a 10 from me. Keep it up, and you'll go far."
[With high scores all around, Danielle basks in her success.]
CONFESSIONAL - DANIELLE
[After receiving high praise and top scores from the judges, Danielle confidently approaches the confessional booth. She wears a self-assured smile as she begins to speak.]
Danielle: [smirking] "Well, it was just a matter of time, wasn't it? Eventually, they were going to give me the praise I deserve."
[Her confidence is unmistakable as she revels in the recognition she's received for her performance on the runway. Danielle seems determined to make the most of her moment in the spotlight.]
[Chris, acknowledging the Hazardous Bears' victory in the challenge, decides to keep the show going and announces the final model of the day.]
Chris: [enthusiastic] "But hey, let's not stop the show just yet! We've got one more model to go!"
[Kathy, representing the Swift Deers, steps onto the runway in a glamorous evening gown in deep crimson, adorned with sequins and featuring a dramatic train. Her presence is captivating, and she dominates the runway. Zane, watching from backstage, can't take his eyes off her.]
[Rodrick, noticing Zane's reaction, playfully taps him on the shoulder.]
Rodrick: [teasing] "You've got good taste, dude."
[Kathy approaches the judges, and Chris is the first to offer his critique.]
Chris: [thoughtful] "Not bad at all, Kathy. I couldn't see anyone else pulling off that outfit the way you did. It's an 8 for me."
[Chef's rating comes in slightly lower.]
Chef: [considering] "It's a 7 from me, Kathy. Good, but not mind-blowing."
[Anne Maria, true to her straightforward nature, delivers her own score.]
Anne Maria: [honest] "It's a 5 for me. Not bad, just not my personal preference."
[With Kathy's runway performance complete and the judges' scores tallied, Chris steps forward with his megaphone to make the final announcement.]
Chris: [enthusiastic] "Ladies and gentlemen, with a score of 64 to 45, the official winners of today's challenge are... the Hazardous Bears!"
[The Hazardous Bears, upon hearing the announcement, rush onto the stage, cheering and celebrating their victory. The excitement is palpable as they revel in their triumph.]
[Ramiro, in his enthusiasm, attempts to lift Danielle into the air, but she immediately protests and scolds him.]
Danielle: [complaining] "Get your filthy hands off me, you swine!"
[Her sharp response draws some laughter from her teammates, and Ramiro quickly puts her down, slightly embarrassed.]
[With the Hazardous Bears celebrating their victory, Chris takes charge of the situation.]
Chris: "Hazardous Bears, you guys can head back to camp and celebrate. You've earned it. Rest up for the next challenge."
[The Hazardous Bears cheer and start making their way off the stage, excited about their win.]
[However, Chris's tone changes as he addresses the Swift Deers.]
Chris: "As for the Swift Deers, well, it's campfire ceremony time tonight. You'll need to eliminate one of your own."
[The atmosphere among the Swift Deers immediately becomes tense as the reality of their situation sinks in. They exchange worried glances, knowing that a tough decision awaits them at the campfire ceremony.]
[Later that day, Rodrick and Zane find themselves having a hushed conversation behind their cabin. Rodrick seems eager to discuss the upcoming campfire ceremony.]
Rodrick: [whispering] "So, who do you think we should vote for tonight?"
[Zane appears contemplative, his brow furrowing slightly.]
Zane: [thoughtful] "I don't know, man. It could really be anyone."
[Rodrick, feeling decisive, makes a suggestion.]
Rodrick: [suggesting] "What about Leon? I mean, Dirk's probably gonna get evacuated from the competition anyway. If we can get Leon out, we'd be rid of those annoying two all at once."
[Zane raises an eyebrow at Rodrick's proposal.]
Zane: [skeptical] "You just want to vote Leon out because you saw him with Jackie earlier during the challenge, don't you?"
[Rodrick hesitates for a moment, not entirely sure how to respond.]
Rodrick: [awkwardly] "Uh, well... I mean, maybe. But still, it's not like we can vote anyone else anyway. You want to keep Kathy and Emilia, and I want to keep Jackie."
[Zane contemplates Rodrick's point, realizing the dilemma they face.]
[As Rodrick and Zane continue their conversation, Kathy and Jackie suddenly approach them, raising suspicion.]
Kathy: [curious, raising an eyebrow] "What are you guys doing back here behind the cabin?"
[Jackie chimes in, her curiosity evident.]
Jackie: [inquiring] "Yeah, what's going on? Are you hiding something?"
[Zane, caught off guard, decides to be honest.]
Zane: [admitting] "We're talking about the vote tonight."
[Jackie's eyes narrow as she leans in.]
Jackie: [curious] "Oh, really? So, who are you guys voting for?"
[Rodrick, adopting a serious tone, responds promptly.]
Rodrick: [firmly] "Leon."
[Kathy appears surprised and concerned.]
Kathy: [worried] "Why Leon? What's the deal?"
[Rodrick explains his reasoning.]
Rodrick: [explaining] "With Dirk probably getting evacuated, Leon will be too distracted for the challenges. He's a liability."
[Jackie, feeling protective of Leon, defends him.]
Jackie: [defensive] "Rodrick, you don't know that! And honestly, you're acting like a jerk right now. I'm not in on this."
[Jackie turns and walks away, leaving Rodrick looking pensive and affected by her words.]
[Zane, wanting to know where Kathy stands, asks her.]
Zane: [curious] "What about you, Kathy?"
[Kathy, not revealing her decision just yet, replies.]
Kathy: [thoughtful] "I'll think about it."
[With that, Kathy leaves, and Rodrick and Zane exchange uncertain glances, aware that their decision is far from settled.]
[The night of the campfire ceremony arrives, and the contestants gather around the campfire with nervous anticipation. Chris, holding a plate with five marshmallows, wears a serious expression as he begins the elimination process.]
Chris: [serious] "Campers, you know how this goes. If you get a marshmallow, you're safe. If not... well, you know what that means. Let's get this over with."
[Chris holds up a marshmallow and announces the first safe contestant.]
Chris: [holding up a marshmallow] "Kathy! You're safe."
[Kathy breathes a sigh of relief as she catches the marshmallow.]
Chris: [holding another marshmallow] "Emilia, you too."
[As Emilia receives her marshmallow, Zane smiles at her, but she pointedly ignores him, leaving him confused.]
[Chris holds up yet another marshmallow.]
Chris: [holding a marshmallow] "Jackie, you're safe as well."
[He throws it to Jackie, who catches it gracefully.]
[With only two contestants left, Chris maintains the suspense.]
Chris: [holding a marshmallow] "Zane."
[Chris throws a marshmallow to Zane, who appears relieved but puzzled by Emilia's distant behavior.]
[Now, only Leon and Rodrick remain, and Chris addresses them with the last marshmallow in his hand.]
Chris: [holding the final marshmallow] "And the last marshmallow tonight goes to..."
[He dramatically pauses for effect.]
Chris: [announcing] "Rodrick!"
[Chris tosses the marshmallow to Rodrick, who catches it with a devious chuckle, leaving Leon standing alone with a resigned expression.]
[Leon stands up and sighs, seemingly accepting his fate. Chris, however, interrupts the somber mood with an unexpected twist.]
Chris: [teasingly] "Well, I was gonna say I don't agree with any of this... but that's what I would've said if Leon was really eliminated."
[Leon's expression shifts to confusion.]
Chris: [cheerfully] "Since Dirk is getting medically evacuated, Leon, you get another opportunity to compete. You're still in the game!"
[Leon's eyes widen in surprise as he processes this unexpected turn of events. The other contestants share a mix of reactions, ranging from shock to relief, as Chris concludes the campfire ceremony.]
CONFESSIONAL - LEON
[The campfire ceremony has concluded, and Leon finds himself in the confessional booth, his emotions running high.]
Leon: [frustrated] "Great. I only get to stay in the competition because my childhood best friend is getting medically evacuated out of here. I feel terrible."
[Leon's eyes suddenly widen, and he abruptly leaves the confessional booth. We see him sprinting towards the medical tent with urgency.]
[In the medical area, Dirk lies on a stretcher, surrounded by paramedics. Bri and Jackie are already there, visibly concerned. As Leon approaches, the paramedics momentarily stop moving Dirk.]
Leon: [emotionally] "Wait."
[The paramedics pause, and Leon steps closer to Dirk.]
Leon: [sincere] "I'm going to miss you, buddy."
[Dirk, despite his swollen throat and lips from the allergic reaction, struggles to speak but manages to convey his thoughts.]
Dirk: [straining] "I'm rooting for you to win, Leon. I know you can do it."
[Overcome with emotion, Leon hugs Dirk, and behind them, Bri and Jackie also wipe away tears, deeply moved by the heartfelt moment.]
[As the paramedics carefully load Dirk onto the medical helicopter, Bri, Jackie, and Leon stand nearby, their faces reflecting a mix of concern and sadness. With the helicopter's rotor blades spinning, it takes off, rising into the night sky. The trio watches, waving goodbye to their departed friend, their emotions running high.]
[Once the helicopter disappears from view, Bri and Leon share a hug, seeking comfort in each other's presence. Together, they leave the area, leaving behind the intense emotions of the moment.]
[Jackie remains behind, lost in thought. Rodrick approaches her, his tone sympathetic.]
Rodrick: [gentle] "So, Dirk's really gone, huh?"
[Jackie, still grappling with her emotions, replies with a hint of frustration.]
Jackie: [tense] "Yeah..."
[Rodrick places a reassuring hand on her shoulder, trying to offer some solace.]
Rodrick: [softly] "At least he's off to get some real help. And in the end, that's what matters most, his health."
[Jackie, however, remains upset and merely shrugs, walking away from the area, leaving Rodrick with a sense of unease.]
[As Jackie walks away, consumed by her emotions and thoughts, the scene gradually fades to black, marking the end of the episode.]

WOW! After a whole month, I finally released Episode 10! Sorry for the ones who wanted to see it come out earlier but as I mentioned earlier, I have been really busy and I couldn't match any time to write the episode.
Honestly, as someone who was really struggling to get this episode out, I didn't expect it to have the most words out of any episode with over 17,000! That's insane.
About the episode itself, Rodrick and Jackie seem to be finally bonding but for how long? The challenge is a fashion challenge, can't get more classic than that. And Anne Maria has a cameo as a judge for this fashion contest. Obviously, I couldn't help myself but having her roast everyone. I hope you liked her inclusion. Also, further more about the challenge, I didn't put much thought into it. I wasn't that creative, apart from them having to look for the clothing around the camp. That unlocked a bunch of key events for this episode, such as what led to Dirk's elimination...
About his elimination, I wanted to separate him and Leon all along and him to be eliminated pre-merge too but I just never expected that it had to be this early. I will miss writing for him. He was funny xD. And if you ask, why eliminate Dirk before Leon and not the other way around? Because I got plans for Leon, plans that will develop his character and in a way, Dirk too, but this whole development can only work if Leon lasts longer than Dirk. So yeah, I had to do it.
Let me know through the reviews your favorite characters this episode, your least favorites, your thoughts on the challenge, predictions and much more that you want to say. It would really help since the traffic stats are broken for me so please review so I know there's someone out there enjoying my writing. It would mean a lot! Thanks!
May Dirk rest for now.
