*The next morning, Sonic & Sally sat in a horse-drawn carriage as they waved goodbye to Harvey & Rosie. Sonic was wearing a . The castle guards opened the gates as Sally drove the carriage towards town. Sonic smiled & pointed at everything like a little kid. Sally followed his gaze & smiled at him. Sonic then leaned over the back of the carriage to see how it worked. Tails swam past them in the harbor & looked up at Knuckles, who was hiding in the carriage*
Tails: Has she kissed him yet?
Knuckles:*whispering* Not yet!
*Tails groaned. Sonic & Sally stopped at the center of town. Sonic saw a Mobian man helping a woman off their carriage & went help Sally off the theirs. Sally was a little surprised by the gesture at first, but accepted with a smile. Sonic smiled himself as he looked at everything around him. He then saw a puppet show & took one of the puppets off one of puppeteer's hands. He then pulled Sally over to where couples were dancing. The two danced together & had a wonderful time. As they were leaving town, Chip stopped flying to talk to Tails*
Chip: Yo, Tails! Any kissing!?
Tails: No, not yet.
Chip: Hmm. Well they - they better get crackin'!
*Once they were outside town, Sally gave Sonic the reins. He took the reins & started to drive the carriage wildly. Sally's eyes went wide when he saw that they were heading for a ravine. Miraculously, they made it to the other side, unharmed. They then drove off into the sunset*
*It was now twilight. Sonic & Sally were in a rowboat together over a lagoon. Sonic was rowing the boat. Chip & Tails were watching from the reeds*
Tails: Chip, move over! I can't see a thing!
Chip: Nothing is happening! Only one day left and that girl ain't puckered up once! Okay, this calls for a little vocal romantic stimulation. *he flew up to a tree* Stand back!
*He landed on a tree branch, scaring off some birds sitting on it & watching Sonic & Sally. He cleared his throat & then started singing, badly*
Sally: Wow. Somebody should find that poor animal and put it out of it's misery.
*Sonic gave a tense smile & then looked up at Chip. He gave him an "Okay" sign & he face-palmed. Knuckles covered his ears*
Knuckles: Good grief, I'm surrounded by amateurs! *he jumped off the boat & into water* You want something done right, you've got to do it yourself. *he cut a blade a sea grass with his claw & swam up to the surface* First we got to create the mood. Percussion. *three ducks played three turtles like drums* Strings. *crickets* Winds. *wind blowing through reeds* Words.

*Sally was confused by the voice she was hearing. Sonic's eyes went wide when he saw Knuckles getting close to her ear*

*Two cranes parted the branches of a willow tree for them as they floated through them*

*No one noticed Breena & Brenna next to the upturned boat. They grinned & shook tails*
*Zero saw the whole thing in his crystal bubble*
Zero: Nice work, girls! That was a close one! Too close! The little barracuda! Ugh, he's better than I thought. At this rate, she'll be kissing him by sunset for sure! *he swam over to his cabinet & took out a red bottle in the shape of a actual heart* Well, it's time Zero took matters into his own tentacles! That Princess won't know what hit her! Only one more sunset. Then I'll make Aleena writh. *he threw the bottle into the cauldron* I'll see her wriggle like a worm on a hook!
*He laughed as his body & voice began to change*
*Back up on the surface, a full moon was in the night sky. Sally was outside playing "Part of Your World" on her flute, hoping to attract the boy who saved her. She then stopped playing & just looked at the water. Harvey then came up behind her*
Harvey Who: Sally, if I may say. Far better than any dream boy, is one of flesh and blood. One warm and caring. *he looked up* And right before your eyes.
*Sally looked where he was looking & saw Sonic in his bedroom window, combing his quills as he got ready for bed. Sally smiled at him & then looked at her flute. Making up her mind, she threw her flute into the sea with all her might. She looked back up at the window & was about to go back inside, when she heard something. Something that sounded very familiar. She followed the sound until she made it down to the shore. A fog started to roll in. Just then, she saw a green male hedgehog with blue eyes, peach skin, two long scars across his chest, & wearing a black long sleeved shirt, that showed scars on his chest, black pants, & black boots, sitting on a rock not far from shore & singing. He turned to face her, showing that he was also wearing a glowing gold seashell necklace. He gave her a smirk & the fog really got thick*
