I sometimes wonder if i imagined the attack. But having to stay in the hospital. Hearing his voice. His hands on my body.
He wanted to punish me for now choosing him. For not loving him the way i loved Lucas.
As my pregnancy progressed. Even though Lucas and I had reported the attack.
Nothing had been done about it because Lux had diseappered.
He hadn't been heard from in some time and they didn't have much information on the reasoning.
But i was well aware. Lux had money status and the ability to start over anywhere in the world.
Which is why during the appointment where we found out about the gender of the babies.
I told Lucas i was letting this go. Once and for all.
I had let Lux tie me into emotional and mental knots.
Our daughter. And our sons deserved a stable peaceful life.
Without stressed on edge parents.
