#30 - AU (Prison!AU)

Amane closed her eyes in annoyance. Of course she'd go off and do this. Thanks now I'm the one whom is going have to tell Aoi. "Why do I even have to bother." She groaned underneath her breath. Her eyes opened as she glared down at the tablet in her hands.

"I'm not the one to tell her." Seira's hard voice spoke through the speakers. "Aoi needs to hear this from her caddy."

"Actually she doesn't." Amane shook her head firmly. "All she needs to hear from her caddie is the condition of the golf course."

"Aoi needs to hear about this from her best friend." Seira waved her right hand.

"No Aoi needs to hear this from her mother." Amane frown deepened. "What are you afraid of here. Aoi all ready knows you are the one whom forced Eve from Japan."

Seira sighed. "Yes my daughter knows that I forced Eve out of Japan. Out of her life. Without a goodbye. Aoi will just accuse me that I'm overjoyed that Eve got herself thrown behind bars."

"We don't know that." Amane quickly replied.

"Try explaining that to Aoi." Seira sighed. "I'm looking into this stint of Eve's. If I do find out that Eve had willing put herself in prison than I'm not helping her. I don't care whom daughter she is." Shaking her head. "There is so much that I'm willing to do for Kazuhiko."

"Eve has been set up." Aoi cried out from behind Amane. "Mama you have to help Eve. Please." Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Aoi." Seira breathed out at the sight of her daughter. She swallowed. "As soon as I can I will get Eve out of prison Aoi. I promise you." She can't deny her only daughter anything. She fully knew deep down that Eve didn't do anything to be sent to prison for. She was just afraid to work with Eve's grandfather was all. She didn't want Aoi near the mafia. But there was no way she can prevent Aoi from worrying about Eve. She knew that she couldn't prevent Aoi from being with Eve. She knew the moment she made the decision to force Eve to leave Japan when she learned whom Eve's mother father truly was that she made a horrible mistake.

"Michael Burton isn't evil Mama. He's Eve's grandfather." Aoi spoke.

Seria's eyes widen. "H-how do you know about Michael?" Her eyes slanted. "Amane ..."

"Amane didn't tell me anything." Aoi frowned. "Just as you paid her not to Mama."

Seria swallowed. "Aoi I ..."

"I'm not stupid." Aoi sighed. "I know that you hired Amane to be my caddie. I know that it's Amane's job to be my caddie. I never expected her to do it for free. It's just a job. I know you don't pay her to be my friend." She growled. "I wouldn't allow you to. If I even had a hint of it then I never would have allowed Amane even one inch of my true self."

"Aoi ..." Seria sighed.

"Just get Eve back Mama. I just want Eve to contact me once more. Then we can all sit down and discuss everything." Aoi looked her mother firmly in the eyes. "Until then do what you need to do."

Seria nodded. "I promise."
