Virtue and Venom: Chapter 25

With Lee

Lee jumped in the air while spinning and aimed a kick at Jirobo's head "Leaf hurricane" Lee shouted as he kicked Jirobo; Jirobo put his arm up to block the kick. Upon contact Jirobo skidded to the side by a foot as the force of the hit moved him.

'Bastard; hits pretty hard' Jirobo thought; Jirobo grabbed Lee's leg and pulled him towards him. Jirobo cocked back his fist and threw a punch towards Lee. Lee put up his arms in a X formation as the fist connected; Lee felt his bones rattle from the hit.

Lee proceeded to bring up his other foot and kick Jirobo in the jaw breaking his hold on his foot; Lee jumped back doing a flip before landing a few yards away.

"Your strength is quite impressive Mr. Jirobo" Lee said "but I will still be victorious in this battle" Lee said and Jirobo scoffed.

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch" Jirobo said as he raised his hands above his head; Jirobo slammed his hands into the ground digging his fingers into the earth. Jirobo strained for a few seconds before he started lifting up the ground; Jirobo pulled out a massive chuck of earth out of the ground making Lee go wide eyed. "Dodge this kid" Jirobo shouted as he threw the chunk of earth at Lee.

Lee seeing this ran towards the Earth chunk cocking back his fist; Lee proceeded to punch it stopping it's momentum and cracking it. Lee brought up his foot and kicked the boulder with all his might; the crack began to spread across the entire chunk.

The chunk of earth broke up into hundreds of pieces falling down to the ground; Lee then saw Jirobo coming directly behind the falling rocks with his fist cocked back. Jirobo punched Lee in the gut making him cough up blood; Jirobo proceeded to grab Lee by the head lifting him up and slamming him on the ground.

"You're done kid" Jirobo said lifting up his foot; Jirobo slammed his foot where Lee's head was. Jirobo was expecting to feel blood and brain matter on his foot; but immediately after he saw that Lee was no longer there.

"You may be strong Mr. Jirobo" Lee said standing several yards away; Jirobo looked over surprised as how he moved so fast "but you are disappointingly slow" Lee said kneeling down. Lee pulled up his leg warmers revealing ankle weights on both of his legs; Lee removed them from his legs and threw them away landing with a force that made the ground shake.

"You've gotta be fucking kidding me" Jirobo said as he could not believe that he was wearing those heavy weights while fighting; Jirobo was sent flying backwards as Lee in a burst of speed punched him in the face. Jirobo flew back into a tree crashing through it before hitting another one and stopping.

"Give up Mr. Jirobo" Lee said getting into his taijutsu stance; Jirobo got up and looked at Lee.

"Congrats kid; you pissed me off" Jirobo said; Jirobo activated his curse mark and it began to spread over his body until half of his body was covered in the black markings "bring it on punk" Jirobo shouted as he charged at Lee.

With Naruto and the others

Naruto and the others were jumping through the trees following the other sound ninja; Naruto looked back at where they left Lee as the sound of battle echoed through out the forest "damn bushy brow's really tearing it up back there" Naruto said and Neji looked at him.

"Lee is a taijutsu specialist" Neji said "I'm certain in a battle of strength he'll come out on top" he said.

Inoichi was near the front of the group and spoke up "Kiba can you still smell them; how far are they" he asked; Kiba sniffed the air and spoke.

"They are about 500 yards ahead of us" Kiba said "if we keep up this pace we should- "he began until he was tackled out of the way by Naruto; a arrow flew of their heads hitting a tree.

"Everyone to the ground" Inoichi said as he and the others jumped down to the forest floor; everyone took cover behind trees and boulders "stay down we have a sniper" Inoichi said. Inoichi peeked from behind the tree he was hiding behind and almost had his head blown off by an arrow "Fuck" Inoichi shouted.

"Daddy" Ino shouted about to get up.

"Ino stay down" Inoichi said keeping her back.

Naruto seeing the arrow stuck in the tree shouted "Hey freaky 6 arm bastard; is that you" Naruto shouted making everyone look at him like he was crazy.

"Yeah, it's me" Kidomaru shouted from a few hundred yards away "that you, you blonde asshole" he shouted; Naruto took in a deep breath and spoke.

"Yeah, it's me" Naruto shouted "look man lets make a deal" Naruto said making Inoichi look at him. "I come out and you come out" Naruto said "you let my team go and we fight… just you and me; I know you want to so let's do this" Naruto said.

Inoichi hearing this looked at Naruto "are you fucking crazy" Inoichi said "there is no way that he'll- "Inoichi began until a thud came out of the trees. Kidomaru walked out holding a club made out of his gold liquid in each of his 5 hands; Kidomaru had one of his sleeves rolled to cover the stump from when Naruto cut off his arm.

"Ok you little asshole; come on out and let's settle this like men" Kidomaru said; Naruto began to walk out from behind the tree he was taking cover behind.

"Go on ahead guys; I'll catch up" Naruto said taking out his trench knives; Ino shot up and looked at him.

"Naruto what the hell; don't fight him alone" Ino said; Naruto turned around with a smile.

"Don't worry babe" Naruto said with confidence "I'll wrap this up and join you guys" he said.

Inoichi looking at this went over inside his mind and realized that this was by far the best strategy; Naruto could fight and beat this guy while he and the rest of the group go after the others. Inoichi stood up and walked out "you better catch up" he said "or else you'll have to deal with Ino" he said and Naruto nodded.

"I'll catch up; don't you worry" Naruto said.

"Everyone on me" Inoichi said as he began to jump off; Ino stayed behind and spoke to Naruto.

"If you die, I'll never forgive you" Ino said; Naruto gave her a thumbs up.

"Love you" Naruto said.

"Love you too" Ino said before running off to join the others.

"You shouldn't have lied to your girl like that kid" Kidomaru said with a smile and getting into his fighting stance; Kidomaru activated his curse mark as it began to spread over his body until it reached his final form. Naruto looked at Kidomaru and saw how he didn't even look human anymore.

"I didn't lie fucker" Naruto said "besides I wanted to finish what we started during the invasion" he said getting into his fighting stance; Naruto charged his blades with wind chakra and got ready.

Both combatants charged each other and began to clash as the wound of clanging steel echoed through the forest.

With Lee

Lee was trading blows with Jirobo both boys clashing with all their might trying to break the other; Lee blocked a punch from Jirobo which made his bones and muscles ache. Lee countered by spinning on his heel and bringing up his right foot for round kick to Jirobo's head; Jirobo blocked the kick but Lee came up with his left leg and hooked it around Jirobo's neck.

Lee proceeded to put him in a choke hold with both his legs while punching him in the face. Jirobo was being both choked and punched by Lee when he began to bend backwards; Lee thought his choking was working until Jirobo fell forward quickly.

Jirobo slammed Lee into the ground cracking it as Lee spat up some blood and Jirobo stumbled back coughing from the choking "you're a dead man" Jirobo said as he drove his fist down toward Lee.

Lee in a burst of speed dodged the attack and skirted around to Jirobo's side; Lee threw a punch to Jirobo's ribs making him wince in pain. Jirobo turned to try and back hand Lee but Lee once again disappeared appearing behind Jirobo kicking him in the back; this repeated over and over as Lee was no more than a green blur to Jirobo.

'If I keep chipping away at him like this then my victory will be certain' Lee thought as he pressed on his attack; Lee threw another punch at Jirobo and was caught by Jirobo's hand. Lee looked at Jirobo and saw that Jirobo's curse mark was expanding until it began to transform him; Jirobo now in his final curse mark phase looked down to Lee.

"This ends now" Jirobo said as he picked Lee up by his arm and cocked back his fist; Jirobo threw a punch at Lee nailing him in the stomach sending Lee skipping off the ground. Lee bounced off the ground until stopping and quickly getting up.

Lee held his hand to his stomach and stared at Jirobo "I was going to save this for Neji" Lee said as he began to unwrap the bandages on his arms "but it looks like I'll be need to use this" Lee said as he stood up straight and crossed his arms.

Jirobo was looking at this in confusion 'what is he doing' he thought.

"First gate: gate of opening… open" Lee said as he muscles began to pulse at the opening of the first gate; Lee rushed forward faster than Jirobo could see and appeared underneath him. Lee proceeded to kick Jirobo under the chin sending him high up into the air; Lee jumped up appearing behind Jirobo.

Lee's bandages began to wrap around Jirobo until Jirobo was held firmly into place with the bandages and Lee angled them down; they both began to descend at a fast pace and began to spin incredibly fast.

"Forward Lotus" Lee shouted as they both neared the ground; the impact from the technique shook the ground as dust and debris shot up into the air. Lee let go at the last minute and jumped away landing in a crouch as he began to re wrap his bandages; Lee felt his muscles begin to sting from the use of the technique.

'I'm going to be feeling this tomorrow' Lee thought 'but I did what I had to; now I must- 'he began but stopped when he saw Jirobo stand back up.

Jirobo stood up straight as he grabbed his neck; Jirobo proceeded to pop his neck with a sickening pop before looking to Lee. "If I wasn't in my curse mark form, I'd be dead right now" Jirobo said with barely contained anger "now I'm going to wring your goddamn neck for that kid" Jirobo said.

"Damn" Lee said getting back up on still shaky legs "looks like I'll have to try harder the next time" Lee said as he got back into his taijutsu stance.

With Naruto

Naruto ducked under one of Kidomaru' clubs as it flew past his head brushing his hair; Naruto countered by slicing at Kidomaru's legs with his trench knives. Kidomaru jumped over the blades and proceeded to kick Naruto in the face sending him flying back; Naruto recovering from the hit got to his feet only to see Kidomaru pull back his arms.

Kidomaru proceeded to throw his clubs at Naruto and Naruto began to dodge; Naruto ran ducking and weaved by the flying clubs before going through hand signs.

'Wind Style: Gale palm' Naruto fired a blast of wind from his palm towards Kidomaru; Kidomaru seeing the jutsu coming towards him spat out a web from his mouth to a tree branch above him. Kidomaru pulled himself up just in time as the wind jutsu barely missed him; Kidomaru realized he made a mistake but was too late.

Naruto jumped up and proceeded to slash Kidomaru across his stomach with the first slash and at the collar bone with his second; Kidomaru seeing the collar bone slash as the bigger threat acted fast. Kidomaru released his golden substance through his skin on his collar bone to act as armor; Naruto's trench knife clanged against the golden substance indicating that the attack did not connect.

However, Naruto smiled when he saw that Kidomaru had a gash across his abdomen courtesy of hi trench knife; Naruto doing a spin midair kicked Kidomaru to the ground below. Kidomaru hit the ground with a thud before getting back up; Kidomaru decided to change tactics and used his golden substance to create another bow.

"Lets see how you handle this kid" Kidomaru shouted as he created a arrow and loaded it onto the bow; Kidomaru pulled back the bow string and shot a arrow at Naruto. Naruto was still in mid air when the arrow was fired; Naruto charged up his trench knifes and put them in front og himself to act as a shield.

When the arrow hit Naruto felt like his arms were about to break; Naruto was sent flying back into a tree and when he got near landed on it using the walk on walls technique. Naruto however was too slow to see the second arrow coming towards him; Naruto used his trench knife to hit the arrow off course.

Instead of hitting his chest it hit his lower right side; Naruto lost concentration and fell to the ground where he ran and hid from Kidomaru who was searching the woods for him.

Naruto pulled out the arrow and held pressure onto the wound "pathetic boy" came a dark voice; Naruto heard the voice with a startle "do you know who I am" the voice asked. Naruto scowled at this.

'Yeah, your they Kyuubi; I recognize your voice from the forest of death' Naruto said inside his mind 'what the hell do you want; leave me alone, I don't want nothing to do with you' Naruto said and they Kyuubi chuckled.

"No matter how much you resist you cannot ignore me human" the kyuubi said "I am apart of you and I'm here to help myself by helping you" he said and Naruto frowned. "I'll lend you a little chakra; think of it as a gift" the Kyuubi said "and when you need more… well… you'll know where to find me" the kyuubi said with a chuckle.

Naruto was about to respond until he felt a slight surge of chakra; his whisker marks became more pronounced and his eyes became slitted. Naruto got up and saw his wound was healing; he then looked down at his trench knives as saw the blueish hue they had were now turning red from the fox's chakra.

'Ok fine' Naruto thought 'but this doesn't make us friends; I still hate you' Naruto thought.

"And I despise you boy" the Kyuubi said "just don't die; because if you do then so will I" it said; before cutting of contact.

Kidomaru was looking around for Naruto when he suddenly saw him some out from behind a tree 'gotcha punk' Kidomaru thought as he pulled back his bow string and launched another arrow towards Naruto.

Naruto seeing the arrow coming towards him tightened his grip on his trench knife; Naruto slashed at the arrow hitting it directly a cutting it in half. Naruto looked over to the tree Kidomaru was sitting in and spoke "ok freak show" Naruto said crouching down "time for round 2" he said as he rushed towards Kidomaru slashing the arrows coming towards him.

With Lee

Lee got kick in the chest by Jirobo and coughed up blood from the hit; Jirobo followed up with a elbow to Lee's collar bone resulting in a loud and bloody snap. Jirobo finished his assault by slugging Lee across the face; Lee was sent to the ground spitting up blood from the wound inside his mouth.

Lee looking through shaky vision rose up at incredible speed and uppercut Jirobo with his one good arm; Lee followed up by spin kicking Jirobo in the face with one of his feet following up with another kick with his other. Jirobo tried to punch Lee once more but Lee jumped back to gain some distance.

Lee looked at his left collar bone and saw the bone sticking out from his torn jumpsuit 'I can't keep this up' Lee thought looking over to Jirobo 'I have to end this now; if not then the team will be in danger' he thought. Lee stood up straight and crossed his arms once more ignoring the pain from his damaged arm "second Gate: Gate of healing… open" Lee said as he began to glow with a greenish hue.

Jirobo looking on had a chill go up his spine "third gate: gate of life… open" Lee shouted as dirt began to get thrown up and the wind began to blow making Jirobo cover his face. Lee's skin began to turn red; his hair began to stand up and his veins began to bulge as he looked at Jirobo.

Lee in a burst of speed flashed over to Jirobo and kicked him in the gut making him cough up blood; Lee followed up by throwing him up into the air and jumping after him. Lee began to focus as he accelerated upwards "fourth gate: gate of pain… open" he shouted as he approached Jirobo; Lee kicked Jirobo sending him flying into another direction.

Lee appeared again and hit Jirobo again sending him flying before repeating again and again; Jirobo was now being hit around like a human pin ball until he was stopped.

Jirobo looked down to his belt and saw Lee's bandages wrapped around it 'what the hell' he thought.

"Fifth gate: gate of closing… open" Lee said as he began his final attack; Lee descended while pulling Jirobo towards him using the bandage holding him. Jirobo had no way to block as Lee drove both his right arm and leg into Jirobo "Hidden Lotus" Lee shouted as he finished his devastating attack.

Jirobo plummeted to the ground smashing into the earth; Lee fell to the ground as both his right arm and leg were broken from the attack. Lee slowly began to turn back to normal and when he did, he began to feel excruciating pain as most of his muscles were torn and his bones were broken; Lee turned his head to look at the crater where Jirobo had landed.

Jirobo was a broken and bloody mess as his chest was completely caved in and the back of his head was smashed open from contact with the ground; Jirobo's curse mark began to fade and he returned to normal as his final breath left his body.

Lee let out a sigh as he looked up at the sky 'I won but I can't continue the mission' Lee thought; he then smiled 'Neji is still with them and Naruto and Gaara; I'm sure they will complete the mission' Lee thought. "Good luck everyone" Lee said as he laid down and waited for someone to come by and help him.

With Naruto

Kidomaru shot another arrow towards Naruto who dodged as he closed the distance "come and fight me asshole" Naruto shouted as he neared Kidomaru. Kidomaru cursed as he adjusted his grip on his bow; Kidomaru swung his bow at Naruto using it as an improvised melee weapon.

Naruto used his kyuubi chakra powered trench knife to slice through the bow before going after Kidomaru; Kidomaru jumped away and began to go through hand signs "summoning jutsu" Kidomaru shouted as he landed on a tree slamming his palm into it.

A giant spider appeared in a puff of smoke and began shooting webs at Naruto; Naruto began to dodge the webs and made a hand sign "shadow clone jutsu" Naruto shouted as 50 clones appeared to assist Naruto.

Naruto and his clones ran towards Kidomaru and the web shooting spider as the spider began to make it's next move; the giant spider began to send smaller spiders the size of small dogs towards Naruto and his clones.

"You got tot be shitting me" Naruto said as he began slicing through spiders trying to get to Kidomaru; Naruto's clones also began to engage the spiders and some even got destroyed when they got bit by them.

Kidomaru made another bow and began to shoot at Naruto and his clones hoping he could shoot the real one and end the fight; Kidomaru fired a arrow to one clone as it killed a spider. The clone was hit and burst into a puff od smoke; Kidomaru created another arrow and kept on firing.

Naruto was now only a few dozen yards away from the spider and he proceeded to put away his right trench knife and create another clone; Naruto held his hand out as the clone began to form a rasengan into his hand. The Giant spider seeing Naruto approach spat out a stream of poison at Naruto; Naruto dodged to the side as his clone was hit and dispelled.

Naruto charged up his legs with chakra and jumped towards the spider "rasengan" Naruto shouted as he held his hand in front of him; Naruto's rasengan hit the spider and began to drill into it. Naruto's momentum propelled him through the spider until he was at the other side and standing on top with Kidomaru.

Naruto not wasting any time charged at Kidomaru with his trench knife; Kidomaru pulled back his bow string trying to hit Naruto at close range. Kidomaru fired the arrow and missed when Naruto ducked; Kidomaru jumped back and created a club and got ready.

Kidomaru swung his club at Naruto who blocked by grabbing Kidomaru's wrist with his free hand; Naruto proceeded to cut off Kidomaru's arm with his trench knife stopping any further attacks. Naruto then slashed at Kidomaru's neck with his trench knife; Kidomaru began to push his golden substance through his skin once more to act as armor.

This proved to be ineffective as upon contact Naruto's knife slashed through Kidomaru's armor like nothing decapitating him; Kidomaru's head fell to the ground along with his body. The spiders all began to puff into smoke as the jutsu was cancelled and Naruto and Kidomaru's body both landed on the forest floor below; Naruto was panting as his fight was finally over and the Kyuubi's chakra receded.

"That was only a fraction of my power boy" The Kyuubi said inside Naruto's mind "when you need more you know where to find me; like it or not we are connected… you need me" it said and Naruto scoffed.

"I'll never need you fox" Naruto said; as he began to leave, he saw Kidomaru's club on the ground. Naruto went over and picked it up giving it a few test swings "could be useful" he said as he slipped it into his belt; Naruto turned over to see Kidomaru's decapitated body "good fight dude" Naruto said as he began to run into the trees once more.

Naruto while hopping through the trees took out a vial of herbal medicine Ino's mom gave him to give him energy; Naruto felt his chakra be replenished and felt less fatigued from the fight "wow that stuff really works" Naruto said. "Hold on guys I'm coming" Naruto said as he ran through the forest.

With Inoichi and the group

Inoichi and the others were right on the sound shinobi's trail as they were within sight "keep up; don't slow down" he said.

Kabuto looking behind the group growled in annoyance "Sakon, Ukon; hold them off while me and Kimmimaru continue" he said and the twins nodded.

"Got it" Sakon said "lets go Ukon" he said and his twin nodded; both stopped and turned around towards the pursuing shinobi.

"Damn it" Inoichi said as he saw the 2 sound ninja stop to act as a rear guard.

"Go on ahead you guys" Kiba said "me and Akamaru got these guys" he said to which his small canine companion barked in acknowledgement. Inoichi hearing this got a bad feeling and decided to do something in normal circumstances he would never order.

"Ino back up Kiba" Inoichi said; Ino looked at him and nodded.

"Ok be safe daddy" Ino said as she got next to Kiba and began their attack "Kiba lead the way" Ino said.

"Gladly" Kiba said as Akamaru transformed into Kiba and both jumped up and began to spin "Fang over fang" Kiba shouted as Kiba and Akamaru both went towards the 2 twins; both Sakon and Ukon jumped down to the forest floor to avoid the attack.

When they both landed, they were greeted by Kiba and Ino standing on either side of them.

'You can do this Ino' Ino thought to herself 'you've been through tougher fights' she thought as she got into her taijutsu stance. "Let do this" Ino said as she got ready for her and Kiba's fight.
