Gazing upon Velgoth's new and terrifying form, the five Davises and their allies knew that they had to do whatever they could in order to take down the vile Urgothian beast before it could bring any further destruction to Nexus.

With Velgoth's change in appearance, countless Urgothians emerged from the Breach, the masses forcing the armies of Nexus and the Digital World to quickly regroup and refocus their efforts on driving back the swarm of green abominations.

"Kari, TK, you and the others please help our forces against the rest of the Urgothians, we will handle Velgoth." Water Davis requested, his words earning nods from most within the group of his friends and allies, while Kari looked toward her beloveds with a fair concern.

Before the Dark Empress could express her worries, however, and before she could demand that her lovers allow her to continue to fight alongside them, Nature Davis told Kari with a further trust within his tone. "Kari, we know you wish to fight at our side, but right now, the others need your power more than we do. Have faith in us, this is not our first battle with Velgoth, nor do I believe it will be our last, but we will defeat him, and we will return to you."

"And they won't be fighting alone!" Blaze declared as he, Belezar, Jiraiya, Cybrian and Alcadeias moved toward their partners, who shared a determination for battle, a desire to aid the champions of Nexus within their battle and to finally drive Velgoth back into the Breach, no matter the cost.

Clenching her fists and fighting back the dread and worries she felt, Kari looked between each of her beloveds.

Seeing the trust and determination within their eyes, even in their Mana Forms, the Dark Empress then expelled a defeated sigh and relented.

Nodding in agreement, Kari and Faustian moved aside to join their allies in fighting back the Urgothian swarms, leaving the five Davises and their partners to deal with Velgoth, who turned to face the massive abomination, who glared back upon its enemies and expelled another bellowing roar in response to the challenge issued.

Remaining united and moving as a team, the five Davises and their partners rushed toward Velgoth, the group dodging the debris that was still crashing from the sky after the abomination's burst of power, while also dodging boulders that seemed to be crackling with the dark red energy, as though being guided toward the champions, who either dodged or blasted the flying rock formations before they could strike.

As the group advanced further toward the beast, however, the stone tendrils around Velgoth began to move and flail around.

Reacting to Velgoth's rage, several of the stone tendrils slammed into the ground just before Nature Davis, Fire Davis and Water Davis, the attack briefly halting the trio in their tracks and forcing the three Davises to remain on high alert as more tendrils actually broke through the ones ones on the ground, shattering them as they tried to slam into the Davises, causing a massive cloud of dust to cover the area in the process.

Fortunately, and to the relief of Kari and others who saw this, Nature Davis, Fire Davis and Water Davis were then seen running out of the dust and along the stone tendrils, with Dark Davis, Light Davis and the five partners flying around the Grand Guardian, fire champion and Arch-Savant as they made their way toward the very core of Velgoth's main body.

Moving ahead of their partners and acting as a distraction, Blaze, Belezar, Jiraiya, Cybrian and Alcadeias unleashed a barrage of energy upon Velgoth's being, the attacks exploding along the abomination's stone form, but seemingly doing little to no damage to Velgoth itself.

In response to the latest attacks, the stone tendrils began to surge toward the group, who did their best to dodge and parry the large tendrils, an action the Shadow and the Archon mimicked as they too avoided being crushed by the gargantuan sized stone constructs through their pursuit.

Likewise and as they rushed along the tendrils themselves, Fire Davis, Nature Davis and Water Davis found themselves dodging the series of dark red crystal spikes that kept emerging from out the tendrils, while also avoiding more red energy infused boulders that came flying toward them, the barrage of attacks showing the champions and their partners that despite such overwhelming his overwhelming appearance, Velgoth was indeed able to focus on all of them at once during this fight.

Seeing another of the stone tendrils heading toward him, Fire Davis quickly leapt off of the one he was currently running along, just as the newer tendril crashed clean into and shattered its way through the now broken tendril.

Landing upon the newer tendril, the fire champion began to run along it and furthered his way closer and closer toward Velgoth's main body.

However, the fire variant of Davis then looked in shock as Velgoth brought one of his left arms upward and slammed it down into the tendril he was now running along.

Shattering the tendril and causing the rest of the limb to break apart, it remained apparent that Velgoth was willing to do everything to destroy his foes.

"Shit!" Fire Davis bellowed as he quickly leapt into the air before the ground beneath him broke apart, the fire champion leaping from the shattering debris piece by piece and landing upon another tendril as he continued to race toward Velgoth's main body.

Quickly dodging more red crystal spikes as they emerged along the tendril along his path, Fire Davis then came to a halt as Velgoth then grabbed the tendril with one of his right hands and began to move it.

Swinging the limb toward his main body as he brought his two left fists up to strike at the fire champion, it looked as though Velgoth was ready to end Fire Davis once and for all.

Acting fast however, Fire Davis leapt over the massive fists, gathered a large amount of fiery energy within his hands and performed a counterattack as he slammed the inferno infused fists into Velgoth's upper left hand.

Hoping to do some damage to the Urgothian abomination in his newer form, the fire champion gave what he could through his attack, but to his frustration, Fire Davis found that his attack did not do any damage to his foe, and what little time he had to react forced him to defend as a series of stone tendrils came rushing towards him.

Leaping once again into the air as he dodged each of the tendrils heading toward him, the fire champion remained on guard, keeping himself vigilant to avoid certain death.

Continuing to avoid Velgoth's rage, Fire Davis brought his fiery hands up to block one tendril that came right at him, the fire variant of the Motomiya groaning as he struggled to hold the stone construct back and prevent it from crushing him in the process.

From his position and avoiding the attacks sent his own way, Water Davis quickly turned his attention toward his fiery variant.

Seeing the predicament the fire champion was in and quickly analyzing the situation, an idea then came to the Arch-Savant's mind.

"Throw it over your right shoulder, now!" The Arch-Savant called toward Fire Davis, who quickly followed his water counterpart's instructions and did as he was told.

Using his might to throw the stone tendrils to his right side and at an angle, Fire Davis quickly turned to see why Water Davis had asked him to do such an action.

To Fire Davis' surprise, along with that of the other Davises and their partners, the stone tendrils slammed through Velgoth's left shoulder, the Urgothian abomination expelling a shriek of pain and annoyance as both of his left arms were severed from his being, crashing into the ground around him, where the champions of Nexus noticed that their foe was not regenerating, and this gave them the hope in defeating their foe.

"We've got you now, freak!" Dark Davis declared with a dark glee as Velgoth's head looked down upon him, the champions of Nexus and their partners ready to do their part to end their foe and this invasion once and for all.

As the Davises and their partners continued within their battle against Velgoth, Kari and the others had rejoined their allies and now battled the remainder of the Urgothian swarm.

Joining back up with Henry, Julie, Caleb, Desred, Cyoton, Orphiais, Sythial, Alicia, Sakuya, Erik, Shinon, Lyna, Garen and their partners, the group remained determined to drive back the vile invaders.

"Ok, first rule when dealing with these freaks, under no circumstances do you ingest their black blood, understand?!" Caleb questioned those newer to Nexus as he opened fire at several charging Urgothians heading straight for him, before watching briefly as their bodies dissolved into the black substance.

"Yep, otherwise we turn into these freaks, we saw." Mikey said in reply as he aimed his gun toward a charging Urgothian and shot it right between the eyes, the beast's body crumbling to the ground before melting into the black blood, which then moved back into the Breach.

"Seriously, what the Hell are these things?" Tai questioned with a fair confusion as he opened fire against several Urgothians, which were then sliced into pieces by Omnimon's blade, where the Digidestined of Courage then remarked. "They look like Nature Realm creatures, but just… wrong, as if they're not a part of this world."

"That… will take time to explain." Julie just said in reply as she unleashed a series of fire blasts upon the vile invaders.

Briefly looking over her shoulder and toward the older Kamiya, the silver haired fire champion told Tai with a remaining seriousness. "For now, know that they are a threat to not just Nexus, but to all of creation, and must be stopped before they destroy everything and remake existence in the image of their Master."

From Julie's explanation, those newer to Nexus understood now that these Urgothians were a bigger threat then they expected and thus redoubled their efforts to aid their allies in driving back this vile menace before they could spread beyond the battlefield and cause even more damage to the world.

Swinging Darkbringer and Voidrender within her hands and unleashing her power, Kari sent a shockwave of darkness toward a charging line of Urgothians, the dark energy dissolving the abominations as they shrieked in pain and agony before the Dark Empress moved on.

Cutting through any Urgothians which dared stand in her way, Kari remained battle ready but solely desired to take down the vile beasts so that she could return and aid her beloveds against the greater of threats.

Sensing a powerful source of Light approaching her, however, Kari stopped momentarily and looked upward to see the Arbiter that floated beside of Light Davis when the Host of Justice arrived floating down toward her, the Dark Empress sensing the seriousness within the being, who then approached the former Digidestined of Light.

Taking a moment to observe the appearance of the individual, Kari saw that the Arbiter held a great femininity within her appearance and was possibly an angel herself.

Covered from head to toe within golden armour and white robes, a golden staff was seen wielded within her right hand which had a pair of decorative wings crossed around a light crystal which resided atop the staff itself, while a golden book and scrolls were strapped to her sides.

Wing-like shoulder pads quite similar to Light Davis' own extended from out of her pads, her head was covered in a white hood that held a golden crown with wings around the top and showed a black emptiness quite similar to what Kari had seen of Verathiel.

Landing before the Dark Empress, Kari could sense the growing seriousness of the Arbiter as she looked toward the brunette, aimed her staff toward her.

"I am Demezel, right hand of the Archon and commander of the Host of Justice." The light being told Kari with a seriousness within her voice.

"The Archon speaks highly of you. Despite your fall to the Darkness, he has said that you will fight for what is right and protect the innocent." Demezel went on to say, before she lowered her staff, moved herself so that her invisible face was mere inches from Kari's own, where the Arbiter then demanded with a continued seriousness contained within her words. "In Alpharius' name, prove him right!"

Nodding in understanding and sharing a silent agreement with Light Davis' right hand, Kari and Demezel then moved as one.

Working together, Kari and Demezel struck down a large group of Urgothians that moved against them, the Dark Empress and the Arbiter moving in sync with one another as they struck down their foes, while Tai and the others watching held small smiles to see yet another ally accepting of Kari, especially one of the Light Realm.

It was then a loud crashing sound caught the attention of many within the battlefield, who all turned and cheered to see Velgoth's left arms severed from off of his body and to then crumble to the ground, the sight allowing the defenders of Nexus to know that their foe could be defeated.

Revitalized by this revelation, the warriors of Nexus and of the Digital World pushed forward, united in their goal to drive the Urgothians back and end this invasion once and for all.

Continuing to fly around Velgoth's immense form, Blaze, Belezar, Jiraiya, Cybrian and Alcadeias continued to unleash a barrage of fire, dark, nature, water and light based energy attacks upon the abomination's stone body, the partners of the five Davises doing what they could to damage or at least distract the vile beast so that their partners could damage him more and end his threat once and for all.

However and much to their own frustration, the attacks of the five partners seemed to have little to no effect upon the stone construct, whose focus remained primarily upon the five champions of Nexus, while Blaze and the others were forces to dodge the stone tendrils themselves, along with large slabs of rock that the tendrils lifted up from the ground and threw in their direction, which the group focused on destroying in order to prevent them from causing any harm to their allies.

At the same moment, the five Davises, who still retained their Mana Forms, continued to be the centre of Velgoth's attention as they moved around on his tendrils and his broken arms.

Using his right arms to try and grab or crush his foes under his fists, the Urgothian menace sent off several shockwaves of red crystalline energy in an attempt to impale his enemies.

The Davises remained united, however, and dodged the attacks, the group moving in with fire, dark, nature, water and light based energy strikes so as to further damage Velgoth's remaining arms.

As Dark Davis and Light Davis remained within the air, dodging the stone tendrils from afar and unleashing blasts of dark and light energies against the stone abomination, Fire Davis, Water Davis and Nature Davis focused on dodging and striking Velgoth's fists as they tried to strike the trio down, the beast further trying to destroy the variants of his foes.

Dodging a slam from one of the large fists, Nature Davis' senses kicked in as he sensed something heading toward him from behind.

Turning his head, the Grand Guardian saw another of the stone tendrils heading straight for him.

Acting fast, the nature variant of Davis summoned his larger stone hands and grabbed the spiked tip of the tendril before it could slam into him.

Growling as he pushed back against the stone construct's might, the Grand Guardian expelled a loud and rage filled cry as he then snapped the tendril, snapping it in half.

Then, using all of his might, Nature Davis swung the remains of the tendril which remained within his hands and slammed it into both of Velgoth's arms, the impacting attack shattering the tendril in the process, but it too broke off several parts from off of their foe's remaining arms, which also allowed the five Davises and their partners to see the dark red energy veins circulating within the pair of arms.

Seeing they had an opening, Fire Davis, Dark Davis, Water Davis, Nature Davis, Light Davis and their partners leapt into the air and before Velgoth.

Gathering energy within their hands for a powerful attack, which they unleashed upon the wounded areas of Velgoth's arms, the combination of attacks shattered through the arms and left the stone abomination armless, this causing Velgoth to bellow with a continued rage and frustration.

To the sight of Velgoth losing all of his arms, the forces of Nexus and of the Digital World expelled cheers of joy and victory, while Kari and the rest of those close to the five Davises smiled to see their friends seemingly triumphant against their foe.

However, the moment turned from joyous to horror as several stone tendrils rushed toward the Champions of Nexus and their partners.

Though most scattered from the sudden attack, a single tendril slammed itself right into Fire Davis and pushed the fire champion into the skies above, a sight that horrified many who watched the battle.

"Davis!" Blaze called in concern as he, Light Davis and Dark Davis took off after the fiery variant of the Motomiya, while Nature Davis, Water Davis and the remaining partners focused on dealing as much damage as they could to Velgoth's main body.

Struggling against the might of the tendril and feeling the oxygen around him slowly dissipating due to the heightening altitudes, Fire Davis did everything he could to remain focused on retain his mental wellbeing, as well as to keep his promise to Kari and to return back to the woman he loved with his variants.

With that thought and that sole promise stuck within his mind, the fire champion placed his main hands and his fiery hands upon the spiked tip of the tendril tightly.

Expelling a battle cry, Fire Davis as he twisted and snapped the tendril free clean off of Velgoth's form, before rearranging the spike tip so that it was aimed downward as he began to descend back down to the battlefield.

Moving through the clouds, Blaze, Dark Davis and Light Davis saw what the fire champion had done and now understood his intention, where the moved alongside Fire Davis as he continued his descent, with the Fire Dragon, Shadow and Archon destroying boulders infused with the dark red energy as they hurdled into the sky in order to strike at them.

"Heads up, Velgoth!" Fire Davis declared as he, Blaze, Dark Davis and Light Davis emerged from the clouds, the call causing the beast to tilt his stone head upward, while Nature Davis, Water Davis and the partners saw the massive stone tendril grasp tightly within the fire variant's hands.

Moving to join their allies and knowing exactly what Fire Davis had in mind, Nature Davis and Water Davis leapt into the air, while Blaze moved to join Jiraiya, Belezar, Cybrian and Alcadeias as they managed to break through the remaining stone tendrils in order to give their partners the opening which they needed.

With a mighty cry, Fire Davis then threw the stone tendril straight toward Velgoth, the spiked tip shattering part of the beast's horn and embedding itself within the stone construct's neck, the attack causing the Urgothian nightmare to shriek from its sense of pure pain and rage.

"This ends now!" All five Davises declared with a mighty bellow as they gathered Mana into their right fists, which they all slammed together into the back end of the broken tendril.

Pushing the tendril all the way through Velgoth's body and causing it to pierce clean through Velgoth's neck and causing his form to shatter, the Champions of Nexus fell within the crumbling remains of their foe, the Davises making sure that the battle was indeed done.

To the sound of the loud crash, the defenders of Nexus and the warriors of the Digital World all turned their gaze to see Velgoth's form crumbling away, a sight that caused many to cheer once again, while Kari let out a sigh of relief as she believed that the battle was over and that her beloveds were safe.

Unable to follow his partner into the crumbling stone construct himself, Cybrian's eyes began to glow, projecting the imagery of what the Arch-Savant was seeing and allowed the partners, the Dark Empress and the others to see what was transpiring within Velgoth's remaining debris.

As the Archon retracted his light wings and the Shadow allowed his dark cloak to return to normal, the five Davises remained back to back as the group descended down through the crumbling remains of the stone construct.

Keeping their eyes peeled in the event their foe was not as defeated as they had hoped, their suspicions were then proven correct as the champions sensed something rushing toward them from below, before the five Davises scattered as Velgoth, the real Velgoth, rushed past them, the group missing his fist as he turned in the air and looked down upon his enemies, expelling a bellow of rage as he began to free fall after the Davises.

"Are you kidding me?!" Many amongst the Digi-heroes and heroines exclaimed in shock and disbelief, the group unable to comprehend how Velgoth was still alive and remained able to fight.

At the same time, Kari's fear and worries quickly returned upon seeing that her beloveds now only had each other to deal with the Urgothian abomination and that she was unable to help them in their conflict.

Moving through the air and with no real control over his trajectory, Velgoth rushed toward the Davises, his hands crackling with the dark red energy as he tried to tear apart his foes, who dodged his strikes, retaliating with blasts of fire, dark, water, nature and light energy in an attempt to bring their foe down once and for all.

However and just like before, their attacks either did little damage to the Urgothian menace, which quickly regenerated, Velgoth's great regeneration prowess forcing the champions of Nexus to try and figure out a better way to neutralize the abomination.

At one point during the aerial melee, the Davises took quick note of how the chasm was narrowing and acted fast.

Moving closer together as Velgoth became stuck between the walls of the chasm, the five champions moved further away and allowed them to believe that they had a moment to come up with a plan in order to defeat their enemy.

However and much to the Davises' shock, the chasm then widened due to Velgoth pushing the walls outward, a sight those outside of the crumbling construct took notice of, before the five champions watched as their enemy literally ran down one of the walls to reach them quicker, lunging from the wall in order to strike at his enemies.

Remaining on high alert and acting quickly, the Davises moved to the side to avoid the massive form of Velgoth crashing into them.

Avoiding Velogoth's massive being, the beast then slammed his claws into the wall on the other side, pulled a massive rock slab from out of the wall and threw it toward the group, further showing his immense strength.

Acting together, the five Davises gathered fire, dark, water, nature and light energy within their hands, which they unleashed as a powerful blast toward the stone slab, the united attack shattering the debris and destroying its remains before it could strike upon them.

But unable to take a moment to catch their breaths, the five champions of Nexus refocused as Velgoth launched himself down toward the group.

As Velgoth swung his large arms as he tried to strike down his enemies once again, the conflict between the five Davises and the beast remained a highly intense situation.

Outside the crumbling stone construct, the Dark Empress and the rest of those watching the imagery projected by Cybrian held fear and concern for the Davises as they continued their battle with Velgoth, all desiring to help their friends in some way against their nightmarish foe.

"Man, this would be awesome, the six of them duking it out in a freefall, under different circumstances." Kenta then remarked as he and the others continued to watch the battle being projected before them, his words causing a few to nod in agreement as they too watched the conflict which continued to play out before them.

Clenching her fists tightly around Darkbringer and Voidrender, Kari felt her desperation and her desire to help her beloveds grow further.

However, despite the strong need within her heart to aid the Davises, Kari also felt a powerful force heading in her direction.

Turning around, the former Digidestined of Light was surprised to see the Nature Empress herself land before her, the ancient ruler of the Nature Realm looking down upon her as she said in an urgent, but a trustworthy voice. "Lady Kamiya, we must act fast in order to aid the Champions."

.

.

.

Back within the crumbling remains of the stone construct, the five Davises barely retaining their Mana Forms as the five continued in the midst of their battle, striking Velgoth's form as they dodged his claws and teeth, while avoiding chunks of rock the beast would scrap off of the walls and send hurdling in their direction.

Gathering a further source of dark red energy into his fist, Velgoth then slammed his claw into the right side of the chasm, the action causing a series of red crystal spikes to surge outward and causing the Davises to quickly scatter, so to avoid being impaled by the onslaught of crystals.

After the crystals dissolved into nothingness and moving back together, the five champions of Nexus then realized they had lost sight of their foe, where they quickly turned to see that Velgoth had moved behind them and prepared to strike at them with his right fist.

Moving as a team, the five Davises leapt over Velgoth's fist, before gathering their respective Mana energies within their right fists, which they then slammed together into the right side of the Urgothian beast's face in the hopes they could knock their foe out in the process.

However, Velgoth's might was much greater than they had anticipated, and with a feral growl, the Urgothian abomination moved his head to the right with a powerful force, the attack sending all five Davises crashing into the rock wall behind them.

Before the champions of Nexus could recover, Velgoth was upon them, grabbing Nature Davis and Fire Davis with his larger claws, while grabbing Dark Davis, Light Davis and Water Davis with his tendrils.

Proceeding to drag them down the chasm, their backs scrapping the wall as they were dragged further and further downward, the beast remained relentless in his attempts to destroy his foes.

"SHIT!" All five variants of Davis exclaimed as they tried to break out of Velgoth's grip, before they looked upward and saw something that caught their attention.

Quickly rushing down the chasm toward them were five orbs of nature and dark energies, each of which were pulsating with a great power that was familiar to each of the champions of Nexus.

"Power… from Kari and the Nature Empress!" Water Davis remarked in surprise, a feeling his variants all shared.

Back outside the crumbling construct, TK and the others watched the sight before him, seeing Kari and the Nature Empress holding one another's hands as their bodies glowed with their respective auras of Dark Mana and Nature Mana.

Keeping her eyes closed, the Dark Empress remained focused on sending her power to her beloveds in order to aid them in their conflict, to do what she could to aid the Davises in their time of need.

"We can't waste Kari's gift!" Fire Davis told the others, his words receiving a silent agreement from his variants as they allowed the energy of Kari and the Nature Empress to enter and further power up their Mana Forms.

Feeling their power rejuvenated and even growing, the five Davises expelled a mighty battle cry as a shockwave of great energy was unleashed from out of their beings, their newfound strength pushing Velgoth back and causing the beast to release his grip upon their forms.

Feeling the dual energies flowing through them, the five Davises then watched as the stone around them began to move toward them, forming larger versions of the stone fists Nature Davis uses in his Mana Form, only now, they were coursing with each champion's respective Mana, along with the Dark Mana of the Dark Empress and the Nature Mana of the Nature Empress.

Undeterred by this new development, however, Velgoth expelled another rage-filled roar.

As Velgoth brought his right fist up and prepared to strike at Fire Davis, the fire champion responded in kind as he and his variants moved to strike at the beast from different angles.

It was then that an all out brawl began, with Velgoth using his main fists as he traded blows with Fire Davis, while using his tendrils to do the same with the other Davises, their speed and attacks increasing with every second.

Continuing to work together, the five champions of Nexus bypassed the beast's fist and tendrils and slammed their right stone fists into the top of Velgoth's head, the variants of the Motomiya putting all their might into their attack as the abomination held his ground, shrieking once again in rage and defiance as he tried to hold his foes back.

"This ends now!" The five champions of Nexus declared as one.

Pushing with all their might into their attack, the combined power sent Velgoth flying backwards, and with a pain filled cry.

As the rest of the construct crumbled apart, Velgoth's body came crashing down to the ground below, where the five Davises landed around their foe, soon joined by their partners, Kari and their allies, each of whom kept their guard up.

Reverting to their normal forms, the five champions remained on alert, waiting to see if their enemy was indeed defeated or not.

Soon, however, all received their answer as Velgoth's left hand curled into a fist, grabbing the dirt below in the process, before the beast moved back onto his feet.

"Oh my God!" Airu all but screamed in disbelief, the Digimon Hunter unable to process how the creature was still alive, even after everything that had happened to him.

As Velgoth gave out another dreadful roar toward his enemies, the Davises and their allies prepared to continue the fight, the five heroes ignoring their exhaustion and remained focused on stopping this menace, no matter the cost.

"Enough, Velgoth, the Great Work is done!" A feminine voice then called out from the Breach, one that shocked many upon the battlefield and freaked out those newer to Nexus.

The voice held a regal, yet toxic tone, divine, yet alien, as though it would soothe ones' pain and torture you all at the same time.

"Elezar?!" Light Davis questioned with a growing confusion and concern, before a new sight appeared that left the defenders of Nexus greatly concerned.

From out of the Breach, a sphere-like device shot straight into the skies, one that looked as though it was made out of the same scale-like material as the Urgothians, but blue in colour as opposed to green.

Crackling with the dark red energy, the object flew higher and higher, before there was an eventual explosion, where the dark red energy seemed to spread and encompass the sky, a sight that terrified many below.

"Whatever this energy is, they are using the Veil to reflect it!" Water Davis informed his allies with a sense of growing concern as he tried to understand what exactly was happening.

"The Great Plan unfolds, let Urgoth's will be done!" Elezar's voice then declared from the Breach.

"For Urgoth!" Velgoth bellowed in response, before he and the rest of the swarm melted down and turned into the black blood, which then rushed back toward the Breach.

Entering the vortex as it finally closed behind them, the sight left many of the defenders of Nexus and the warriors of the Digital World with some relief, but also some confusion which would need clearing up.

However, and much to their horror, the five Davises and the rest of those of Nexus noticed that the solar eclipse had not ended and seemed to continue, a sight which was exhumed as an ill omen.

The battle was over, but a far greater and more terrifying war was now on the horizon.

Author's note: The battle is over, but the Urgothian threat seems to be lingering. What exactly are the Urgothians and who or what is Urgoth? Stay tuned as the adventure continues.

PS: Recovery still continues from my time in the hospital, so chapters will continue to be slowly coming, but as you can see, they will be coming nonetheless.

That said, there is potential talk of me returning to the hospital, and if that occurs, I will not be out for a long time.

I ask for your continued patience and will keep you all updated nonetheless.
